According to folk custom, when someone dies in the house, it is necessary to preserve the spirit in the house for 3 days before bringing it to burial. It is conceived that the soul of the dead person will return home after 7 days, called "the first week of retreat". Many people still confidently believe that, after death, can one's soul truly return to earth?

In the old funeral custom, "head loss" is only the 7th day after the death of the person. Everyone believes that on the day of the "death", the souls of the dead will return home. Family members need to prepare a tray of rice, then hide before the loved one's soul returns (can hide in a blanket, or go to sleep).

If the soul sees the family members, they will remember that they do not want to leave, thereby affecting the reincarnation. Someone said that at the time of the Rat of the "First Venture" day, family members should burn an object resembling a ladder so that the soul can follow this ladder to the sky.

Things to notice on the day of "first loss" 

According to the Jizō Sutra, a person's consciousness, after death, must almost always go through an intermediate stage. The lifespan of the intermediate state body (roughly the life after death) is up to 49 days, after which the dead will live in a realm corresponding to the karma they have created.

The 7th day after the human's death is called the "ventricle". Counting in turn order a total of seven seven 49 days and all 7 days is counted as a "week week". In the first week of retreat, the time for the soul to return to earth is from the time of the Rat to the Pig. 

1. On the night of the first day of death is the first moment the soul returns to earth after death. At this point, the consciousness of the dead is not completely lost, which means that they are not aware of themselves dead, nor can they be called a ghost.

Therefore, the first thing family members need to pay attention to is to keep the mind of the dead and not because of small things in the family that lead to loud conflicts, quarrels. Because doing so will cause the soul of the dead to feel pain, regret, and attachment to the red world without wanting to leave.

2. At the hour of the Rat of the first day of death, the soul will be brought back to the world by the buffalo-headed demon, the four demonic demons sent under the protection. Right at the hour the Rat will go from the window and the chimney to the house. At this time, family members need to prepare a vegetarian feast offering. Among the offerings were offerings of beef, horse meat and stinking things. The more prosperous the vegetarian diet, the better, is to repay the four false demons who have brought their souls home, and at the same time also prevent them from oppressing them. In the vegetarian tray, it is also possible to display the kind of food that the living soul likes to eat so that they can receive and carry it on the road.

3. At the same time, at the same time, the family should display a bowl of clean water and a bowl of five grains in front of the house. The meaning of placing a bowl of water is for the deceased to wash away bare dust, eliminate accidents and peace of mind on the road. Present a bowl of five grains to prevent evil and poison. Early the next morning, the water bowl needs to be poured right in front of the gate while the cereal bowl spills into the drain.

4. On the first day of the death, family members are not allowed to go to the grave to worship. Because on the first day of the death, the Gods at the grave of the deceased will officially record their names in the barbed magnetic field and when patrolling, they will find a replacement. Therefore, in the first week of retreat, if you accidentally ventured to visit the gravesite, both the earthquake and the soul indulged in the offerings could not leave, but the living might also be arrested.

5. On the night of the return of the soul, those who are pregnant or while staying indoors should flee somewhere else to avoid any collision with the soul and on the back. For those souls who suddenly die, on the first week of retreat, they will often dream of family members. At that time, family members must not be afraid, but need to calmly ask what the soul wants, what they need so that they can leave with peace of mind. After the first day of death, the soul of the dead will go to Vong Huong Dai and start to Hoang Tuyen Street without returning.

Why do people have to worship after death?

Why do people have to worship after death? There are many people asking this problem, why do we have to fail? Those who are born (to the world of Dewachen) and those who are born in heaven (reincarnated in the heavenly realm)  do not have an intermediate state body, so there is no need to do anything. But ordinary people with deep and heavy karma have an intermediate state body. 

Everyone in the human realm has to go through the six paths of reincarnation (the six paths of reincarnation). The period starting from the time a person dies to reincarnation is called the "Bardo" period.

For example, a child in the underworld waiting for the destiny to reincarnate is counted as one period. If the 7 days have ended and still cannot find the chance to reincarnate, continue waiting for 7 more days, so on for 49 days. Therefore, in this period, it is necessary to make a super ritual to them.

The normal intermediate state lasts for 49 days, which is 7 times. During the intermediate intermediate state, there is a life-and-death mutation every 7 days. misery. 

Therefore, humans are also bound to commit suicide. Suicide is extremely painful, why? Whenever a person commits suicide and dies, the intermediate state body must commit suicide once every 7 days. It doesn't have to be done once and then done, but every 7 days, it has to be performed once, very miserable. For example, hanging and dying, they had to hang once every 7 days. If they drink poison and die, they must drink poison once every 7 days ...

During the period of intermediate and warm life, the spirit spirit can still use all the items offered by relatives (usually rice, water, incense, flowers) but only enjoy the taste of food. Therefore, the intermediate state body is also called warm flavor (using the scent of food). So within 49 days, relatives need to offer daily rice and water offerings to the dead for them to be full. Especially on the erratic days of the week, worship more solemnly, such as going to the temple or visiting monks to come home to pray for the deceased. 

After 49 days, when the consciousness finds the realm of rebirth, usually they are born in one of the six realms of the six paths (Heaven, A Tu La, people, animals, pretas and hell) and from here on using their differences. For example, if the shikigami were born in Heaven, they would not eat the food of the human realm. Because heavenly food tastes many times more superior. Or if they fall into hell, they cannot use human food because they are tortured, have to eat hot iron, drink hot copper water, endure extreme suffering ... Only sentient beings in the species. demons can still "eat" the offerings offered by relatives.

In your opinion, when people die is it the end, the end? There are many people who believe in positive science that the soul does not exist. But that's not the case, here's a story I personally witnessed in my grandmother's funeral.

My aunt cut a bamboo branch and stuck white paper on it like a ladder and handed it to the mage. The mage presents the ceremony in front of the house with fruits and common vegetarian food on a table. He sat there chanting for 3 hours and then each of the children in the house would have to sit beside the master holding that bamboo branch.  

If the bamboo branch vibrates, it will signal that the soul of the deceased has entered the person holding the branch. Then a ceremony will be held to bring the spirit to the grave. It was a hot July day, it was already getting dark, each person sitting holding a bamboo branch and still could not see it vibrating.  

Everyone was worried about what the ceremony was going on. There are souls who even scold their children when living for mistreating them. How about my grandmother's soul? I am curious to know what will happen to her children and grandchildren after 3 days of death.  

It wasn't until 6 p.m. that I saw my cousin running in from the alley telling everyone that her soul was on my uncle's house. Everyone rushed to the house and found him lying and crying. The mage coaxed him and took him down to her house to sit and hold that bamboo branch. I saw him crying and complaining: "I said I didn't want to go, but sent someone to arrest him ." 

When I went downstairs, I saw his gait, handcuffed like his grandmother, and his legs were no longer deformed, completely normal. He went into the room where my grandmother lay before she passed away and asked: " Where is your cane? “. Everyone gave him the cane she used to live, then he walked around the house and looked around and just cried. 

The magician said: " Take this bamboo branch, everyone will see her home ." So people took her to the grave. Stop at the field bank, my uncle took a bamboo branch around the tomb of fake genius for a round and then went out. He went to her real grave again and then grabbed a handful of dirt to throw it downwards. At this time, the magician immediately splashed his body with alcohol, slapping him hard and knocking him down. After a while he got back to normal.
