Section  7:

FOUR MEDITATION:

 

- Again, Dai Hue! There are four kinds of meditation, how are four? 1. An ordinary practitioner of meditation. 2. Contemplating the meaning of meditation. 3. Phan charming as a real meditation. 4. Tathagata meditation.

1. What is PHAM PHUPHUIS OF MEDITATION? That is to say Thanh Van, Duyen Giac, foreign religion practice, contemplate the human self-nature, the general plus general, interlocking bones, impermanence, suffering, impure general, etc ... due to the attachment as the root; just contemplate the generals like that, not contemplate the other, the class progresses, the general does not eliminate, that is called the Phàm Phu Department of Meditation.

2. What is OVERVIEW OF MEDITATION? Speaking contemplating the non-self (person), the general plus general, foreign religion, knowing self and forgiving are free of nature, finished contemplating the Dharma of No-Self, the Meaning of the Ten Land of Bodhisattva, gradually progressing, called Quan Sat Nghia Meditate.

3. What is PEOPLE LIKE THAT MEDITATION? Is saying delusion: two things No-Self is delusion; A place like the truth does not give birth to delusions, it is called Phan Duyen Nhu That Thien.

4. What is LIKE LAI THIEN? Said to enter Tathagata, attaining three kinds of generals (1) the main concentration of the Self-Awareness of Holy Tri, then accomplishes the carefree thought of beings, called Tathagata Zen.

 

     At that time, World Religion wanted to repeat this meaning that the theory that:

1. An ordinary practitioner of meditation,

Observe the general meaning of meditation.

Phan Duyen is like a real meditation,

Pure Tathagata meditation.

2. For example, a circle,

Bat Dau Ma (2) in the mud,

Like fire,

The practitioner observes,

3. Each of these generals,

Foreign religion accept general meditation.

Thanh Van and Duyen Giac,

Falling in realms.

4. If you discard everything,

That is No Property (3).

All the Buddhas' realms,

Using your hands carelessly,

Temporarily patting their heads,

Thuan merges with Chan Nhu.

 

EXPLAIN:

 

(1) Three th stasis Minister: Tuesday General  (S: trilaksana; P: tilakkhana): The Three Generals, are the three characteristics of the phenomenal world is: 

1. Impermanence  (s: anitya): Also known as  Cthe heroic hero is  often transformed into death,

2. Suffering  (duḥkha): Also known as  Karma General  because it is dominated by karma, 

3. Anatta  (s: anātman): Also known as the  Truth  or the true nature.

(2) Bat head Ma:  Red Lotus.

(3)  Non- possessiveness: Is nothingness, emptiness, no attachment.

 

     Section 7, Volume 2 of this, the Buddha explained about four kinds of meditation:

 

1. PHARMACEUTICAL EXECUTION OFFICE:

 

    As the practice of Thanh Van, Duyen Giac and pagan lines, is to talk about contemplating human beings who have no nature (the cause of no self-nature ), contemplate the general form of the general ( self-general plus general ) continuously as the vertebrae. together; contemplate impermanence, suffering, impurity, selflessness, in turn, come forward and accept the generals but not destroy the generals.

2. Observe the meaning of Zen:

     Is contemplation without self ( selflessness ), contemplation of general and general ( general plus general ) without general, contemplating one has no mind ( self-emptiness ), contemplating others has no mind ( forgiving emptiness ) , contemplate all things that have no nature (the dharma of anatta ), gradually progress to practice the ten of the Bodhisattva.

3. SENIOR AS FOLLOWING:

     Is observing the causes and conditions to distinguish falsehoods, distinguishing form forms of all dhammas is not real; That is, contemplating two kinds of human self, the legal self and the legal no-self are both untrue delusions, because the truth is there is no delusion.

4. AS LAI MEDITATION:

     Being the practice of  three zero ( no, formless, involuntary ) means entering the position of Truthfulness ( Tathagata ), and the three things of inner bliss in  order to attain the Three Generals ( no-mind , suffering, no-self ).  stay in the pure tranquility of tranquility ( Self-awareness of the Holy Spirit ), the unthinkable achievement ( any thought ), that is to reach the realm of Truthfulness.

 

     The poem means:

1. An ordinary practitioner of meditation,

Observe the general meaning of meditation.

Phan Duyen is like a real meditation,

Pure Tathagata meditation.

2. For example, a circle,

Bat Dau Ma (2) in the mud,

Like fire,

The practitioner observes,

     Means that there are 4 types of meditation ,  ordinary and  pagan observance self and one of us ( ego ), which is approved minister but to enter specified, such as meditation see the m Lay the moon and the sun , or th her  shower Red ( Bat head ghost ) grows in the muddy soil as if in the  air, it is said to be attained.

 

3. Each of these generals,

Foreign religion accept general meditation.

Thanh Van and Duyen Giac,

Falling in realms.

4. If you discard everything,

That is No Property (3).

All the Buddhas' realms,

Using your hands carelessly,

Temporarily patting their heads,

Thuan merges with Chan Nhu.

     In such meditation, even if they meditate and acquire the 5 divine powers, they cannot come out of samsara.  Thanh Van Pratyekabuddha they should sacrifice themselves bored destroy mortal mind, when to clear again being m accumulators  to  accept not;  The Bodhisattva  refers to  Truthfulness,  but is not so pure. Also  Tathagata Meditation Purity  , it shuns all, finished equal, using birth and death do not mind religious places ( private address ), to cultivate the fruits Buddha . Saying OWNERSHIP means not getting involved in any place  ( no headquarters ) ,  not accepting the truth No, it is such a true entry, being praised by the Buddhas.
