LEARN THREE FRAMEWORK BY STUDENTS.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

Sutra says we are all in the nature of nature, or emptiness, truthfulness, enlightenment ... whether we know it or not, whether we cultivate or not, often remember to think about it or not. Dharma nature does not prevent us, on the contrary it always shows money, all over. Only our delusion of delusion separates the "Dharma Realm of One General" into a world of separation, conflict, conflict of our own, which we call the world of samsara.

In order for the world of samsara to create and revert back to the One General's world, we have practices to transform our minds. Examples  Only  or  Dinh is the deep settling, deep sinking, going deep into the dharma nature or the nature of the mind, which is already present that constantly surrounds us. Gradually we come to an understanding in which there is no division between subject and object, there is no division between man and the world. This consciousness cannot do it because consciousness is always conscious of something (Edmund Husserl), so consciousness is the basic separation between a subject and an object. In other words, consciousness exists and operates only in the separation between the subject and the object, between the mind and the scene. Consciousness is the agent that creates a fragmented world. Not to mention that according to modern physics, the observer influences the observed object, so science cannot erase the abyss that separates the observer and the observed object. In contrast,  Định leading to an undivided knowing between the subject and the object, between this element and the other element, a total knowing, that is the beginning of wisdom.

In the Dharma Realm of One General, there is no matter of cutting or cutting, fast or slow, instantaneous or advancing according to class. The problem of cutting or cutting, instantaneous or advancing according to the class is due to our more or less ignorance of karma. But ignorance can be broken because ignorance is a condition of creation, external birth, temporary existence (impermanence), not true nature (no nature, No), no separate being (egolessness). ) and is the origin of suffering (suffering).

inh Vien Giac  talks about ignorance:

"Why is it called ignorance? Friendly men, all sentient beings from beginningless time have all sorts of crazy things, like people who are confused about the four directions, expect to receive four great generals as their bodies, sound images ... . For example, if you have other eye disease, you can see that there are no spotted flowers or there is a second moon. Friendly male son! Nowhere does not really have spotted flowers, that is just the handicap of an eye disease. Because of his accept, he should not only be ignorant of the nature of emptiness (emptiness) but also delusion that the other flower is really born. Because of this delusion, there is samsara, so called ignorance.

Friendly male son! This ignorance has no reality, like a dreamer, when he is dreaming he doesn't have one, until he wakes up he knows nothing. As the spotted flowers disappear in midair, it cannot be said that the other flower has a place to disappear. Why is that? Because there's never been a place to be born. ” (Chapter  Van Man ).

The practice of Mahayana arises and relies directly on faith in dharmata. To believe in the dharmata is to believe that dharma is present at any time of space (continent), that we are everywhere, whatever we do, we have never been open to leaving that dharma. unfortunate. It is not because we arise that meditation has contemplation but it arises, not because we stop meditating and contemplate it ceasing (not arising or not). France Tanh not because we see more see less, more evidence of less evidence that we have increased or decreased. It is not because of the crazy purification that is expected to be more or less, the eradication of our afflictions and mental defilements is more or less that is clean and dirty.

It is on this basis of dharma that all disciplines of practice are established.

Here we study the three basic disciplines mentioned in the chapter of  Oai Duc Tu At ,  Kinh Vien Giac . The goal of those three disciplines is to directly see and realize the true nature, or the truth of all things, and at the same time remove the obscurations that obstruct us from that ultimate reality. These three disciplines work together, depending on the root of each one of us, into 25 dharma practices.

1. Only or Dinh

“Good-natured son! If the Bodhisattvas are enlightened by the pure Vien Giac, then use this pure mind to keep the tranquility. Because of the thoughts, we should know that the consciousness is disturbing and disturbing, the wisdom of tranquility appears, the body and mind are naked guests from here to perish forever. At that time the inside was calm and peaceful. Because of this tranquility, the mind of the Tathagata all over the ten directions of the world manifests itself as a shadow in the mirror.

This facility is called Samatha (Samatha) ”. We add the paragraph "Own practice of a Samaritan" in the chapter of the  penance :

"If the Bodhisattvas only use extreme stillness, due to the power of tranquility, the elimination of negativity is ultimately achieved, without leaving the seat and realizing Nirvana. Bodhisattva cultivating so-called only a French Xa-ma-tha ".

Because the nature of nature is passing away, to correspond with the passing away of nature, the practitioner must keep his mind still. Because dharmata is immortal, so in order to fully understand the dharmata, the mind of the practitioner must not produce ideas, calm thoughts. This is the Only Method, or Meditation.

According to the Mahamudra of the Tibetan Kagyu sect, the evidence that goes into Jhana or Jhana is clarity, nonconception, and bliss. As long as one does not stray into it, does not stop one of the three treating them as the goal achieved, but continues through the veils, then one eventually attains the emptiness or emptiness. Dharma or emptiness is often clear, often nonconceptual, often at peace.

Only or Dinh is quieting the thoughts, beyond the disturbing disturbances, the ideas of the body and mind are just dusts from the outside (the sad guests) to remain deeply within the depths of the mind. yourself. The more the mind is still, the more still people become, the more people experience the mind of all the Tathagata (or Dharmakaya of the Tathagata) appearing in it like a shadow appearing in a mirror, like the moon appearing in a still water. . At the end of the tranquility of his mind is the mind of the Tathagata, a whole, undivided and all-encompassing mind that classics call the Dharma Realm One General. By the Only Dharma, one can experience one's mind and the mind of the Tathagata as one.

Only or concentration is focused to delve into the dharma nature or emptiness of this "inherent self-purification", and not be distracted by crude or subtle ideas. The process of going into Jhana or Jhana is a process of moving beyond the clouds of thought, from the rough to the subtle, until out into space, where there is nothing left polluting. This Lankavatara Sutta  called "transcending mind, mind, and consciousness". But in the process of going beyond that, people always know that whether it is cloudy or cloudless, cloudy little or cloudy, it is still space. Clouds are only obscures, temporary and impermanent obscurations, and space is always the same.

Take an example of Jhana from the  Sutta . Only or Dinh is dwell deeply into the dharma or emptiness without distraction. France Tanh or emptiness is not the head, should head on the legal nature or emptiness means head on the headless: "stay on the headless and headless" (Falcon in the head of a child born in wonder). Thus one goes gradually into the legal nature or emptiness which is not seat.

2. Shop

“Good-natured son! If the Bodhisattvas are enlightened by the pure Vien Giac, using this pure mind to observe the consciousness, the root and the ceiling are illusory, so the mind knows the illusory powers to eliminate the illusory. Improving jobs like illusory to enlighten beings as illusory. Because it is illusory that inside the great compassion in mild and peaceful development.

All of the Bodhisattvas from the initiation of this illusory practice gradually increase. The other illusory shop at first did not agree with the illusory scene, nor the illusory consistency, then all three, the shop, the scene and action were all illusory. The illusory generals are permanently separated. The miraculous practice of the Bodhisattvas as the ground makes the germ grow.

This means called Tam-ma-bat-topic (Samapatti) ”. Chapter  Bian Yin  said: "If the Bodhisattva is consistent as illusory, transforming Buddha power into all sorts of effects of the world, filling all the pure virtues of the Bodhisattva, which in the Presbyterian does not lose mindfulness President passed away and the Hue quiet, Bo-slapped so called only a religious practice Tam-ma-bowl-title ".

When we look back on the great and happy events of the past, we see that they can no longer be grasped (impossible); they are like a dream passed away, like a virtual illusory experience. But Buddhism shows us right here, the experiences are just like dreams. Practicing as illusory like (the three realms are only mind, all things are only consciousness), not to be bored with life, to fall into a nihilistic state. The practice of observing impermanence, such as illusory is so far from being impermanent, as illusory and reaches, dwell permanently in the nature of Vien Giac "which is not illusory, which is imperishable. For example, if you wipe a mirror, dust off, then the self-arisen light. Must know the body and mind are illusory, like dirty dust, when the dirty General has permanently disappeared, the ten directions are pure ”(Chuong  Pho Nhan ).

In short, the illusory shop is to dissolve the illusory generals that are covering our inherent Vien Giac nature. The more illusory generals are realized, the more they dissipate and the illusory and undying Vien Giac nature appears.

Here we quote an excerpt from the Prussian  Chapters chapter  for an illusory method:

“Good-natured son! The new Bodhisattva and sentient beings in the world want to pray for the pure Vien Giac mind of Tathagata, should be mindful, away from all illusory generals. First, relying on the Tathagata of Tathagata, persisting in the precepts, arranging the surrounding situation for peace, sitting quietly in a quiet place, often reciting like this: My body here is made up of four great countries of fire and wind. that fit. Hair, feathers, nails, teeth, flesh, tendons, cerebrospinal ... dirty objects, colonies; saliva, tears, sweat, blood, mood, urination ... belong to the ocean; the heat in the body belongs to fire; breath, movements in the body of wind. If the four elements are separated, then where does this vain body exist? Then knew this body ultimately did not have real, due to the harmony that has the general, the result is like illusory.

Due to the four great pseudopathy that has a way of disappointing the six senses (eyes, ears, ears, tongue and tongue). The six senses and the four elements, inside and outside, expect to have a silhouette due to dependent origination, accumulated in the mind as if it were a general of predestined follow, pretending to call it mind. Friendly male son! This broken mind without six mortals cannot be (because there is nothing to be conditioned by discrimination). The mind within the charm in the shape of the ceiling (inward) has all disappeared, in the end the mind clinging to predestination is nowhere to be found.

Friendly male son! Where other beings because illusory body so illusory mind also. Because the mind is illusory, the illusory ceiling will disappear. Because the illusory ceiling should destroy the illusory destruction also passed away. Because the illusory destruction also ceases, so does not illusory capital immortal (appears). For example, if you wipe a mirror, dust off the light of the mirror self-manifest. Friendly male son! You must know that the body and mind are both dirty and dirty, but the illusory vision has become completely eradicated, the ten directions are pure (because they are the clear awareness). For example, European security pure ma-ni, depending on which method is shown in five colors. Those who are ignorant do not know look at the other ghost-mana, claiming that the jade is real five colors (this is the projection of awareness).

When thanks to the shop that sees his body and mind is fake as illusory, Vien Giac nature "is not illusory, undying" appears. It is due to the illusory body and mind that I have created a illusory birth and death for myself. The practice of this shop is "like cleaning a mirror", where the illusory shop is, where the illusory dust is, the mirror will appear there, like "the germ of dreams gradually grows" into a tree, and then this tree grows up to cover all three realms, to Tanh awareness currently covers all three realms.

When he sees that miserable madness in himself, and then looks out at the others who are also pitifully crazy, the practitioner naturally emits great compassion and compassion and liberation. Consistent as illusory, but starting from the wrong basis, falls into nothingness. And the shop like illusory on the right basis is miraculously, one unites the opposites, the seeming opposites eliminate each other, emptiness and compassion, like illusory and help, on me Bodhisattva path.

We also look for illusory practices in other sutras, such as  the Diamond Sutta . If in the Vajra , is to dwell  on nothing and head, then the bar is "Seeing all the generals are not the general, that is, the Tathagata". Or the shop is seeing "The mind of the past cannot attain, the present mind cannot be attained, the mind of the future cannot attain." The last verse to end the Sutta is to teach about Quan

Land compounded both

u dream, illusory, foam, photo As dew, like electric shutters must be consistent so.

3. Only Quan tu song tu

“Good-natured son! If the Bodhisattvas are enlightened by the pure Vien Giac, then they enter into this pure consciousness, not holding the illusory (Dharma Quan) and the static generals (Dharma only). Understanding the body and mind are both hindrances, and the awareness of enlightenment without discrimination is unimpeded, permanently transcending all realms of obstacles and obstacles. It still uses the general body and mind and the world in a mundane place (without being bound), like the sound of a bell's bell, but still escapes in the place of the bell.

Then the negativity with Nirvana are not afraid of each other, inside emanating emanation kill contempt. That is the realm of depending upon Dieu Giac passed away: body and mind, body, absolutely no; beings, life expectancy are illusory ideas.

This medium is called Zen-na (dhyana) ”. Chapter  Bianmien  said:

"If the Bodhisattvas only kill the illusory (not illusory), do not hold the effect (not static only), only eliminate negativity. The disturbing part off the testimony of the general This Bodhisattva called meditation-na private practice. "

Zen-na or Zen translated from the word Dhyana. The word Zen of Zen Buddhism is also the word Dhyana. Meditation means "depending upon," respectively.

In this method, the practitioner does not follow "static appearance" (Chi), which is a characteristic (general) of awareness. Also not according to huyễn, illusory is another general of Tanh Giac (Quan). Which practitioners depending upon or correspond directly with the nature of awareness. Self-awareness is just passed away just look, meaning just just Quan, just has just Hue. Corresponding to "clear awareness without discrimination, unimpeded, permanently transcended all appearances afraid or not afraid". In other words, corresponding to awareness, which is inherent in defilements, samsara, motion or tranquility, increase or decrease ...

In order to be able to establish correspondence with this enlightened awareness, the mind must be less disturbed by disturbances or by accepting the generals to be real. When there is true reciprocity then (one recite the equivalent), one is constantly corresponding (reciting the same idea), the permanent abiding is growing deeper and deeper until the practitioner with awareness is one. The more correspondence, the more he dwells on the true (the true nature of all things), the more illusory, the more afflicted the naked guests fall.

If the dharma only aims at the stillness of awareness, President Quan focuses on the illumination of awareness, awareness is directed directly to awareness, awareness, and awareness President just showed.

Neng taught that only (Dinh) and Quan (Hue) is one of Meditation ( wit g Dinh Hue ), is one of nature Enlightenment:

“Friendly knowledge! The disciplines here take Dinh Hue as the root. The general public should not be fond of saying that the hue is separate and different. Định and Huệ are one body, not two. Dinh is the body of Hue, Hue is the use of Dinh. As soon as it is Hue, in samadhi. As soon as it is determined to be in favor. If this meaning is clear, that means that Hue is equal to cultivate. Those who study the religion, do not say before you have a plan, then you will have a gift, then you will find it, every separate thing ...

“Friendly knowledge! As a self-arisen self-concept, six bases, though having heard or heard, but don't want to be infected with scenes, a true nature is often self-existent. So Kinh said: 'Still often cleverly distinguish the general law, but based in the first meaning (awareness) should not move' '.

Finding the equivalent of Zen in another Sutta, like the  Sutta Diamond , we see:

"All things are Buddhist Dharma", "Tathagata means the meaning of all things" ... Meditation is directly seeing and penetrating the truth of enlightenment as "the general is the nature", "the general nature is second to none" , "All waves are water", "all shadows are mirrors" ...

In short, it is just leaving the generals and thinking to go deep into emptiness. Quan is seen the general and thought as illusory to emptiness to reveal. Only contemplating the practice is right where the general and think that the emptiness of all generals and ideas.

The three dharmas, or one or two or three, convert one another in the order of the first to the 25 dharma practices of  Enlightenment . Each of us needs to follow our own tendencies to practice, preferably with the guidance of experienced teachers.

It is necessary to practice regularly continuously, to increasingly go deeper and deeper into the awareness of the presence of one's own item (Chi), increasingly getting rid of illusory appearances created by (Quan), more and more Corresponding depending upon awareness Tanh (Meditation) to Tanh Giac increasingly manifested, the money.

The more we practice regularly, the closer we get to the "not illusory, immortal" life, the true life for each of our fates. And we will find the meaning of true life, that meaning  of the Great Nirvana Sutra  called True Foot, True Lac, True Self, True Leg. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIENAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/5/2020.
