If you want to take refuge in the Three Jewels, attain the right eye of the Dharma, marvel at Nirvana, seek the Good-knowledge. However, among the renunciants, there is still confusion and truth, not all are the same. If he mistakenly followed the pagan, he met with great harm, but the gullibility of the evil doctrine of the magician was even more harmful.

That's why you are studying the Buddha-dharma, so avoid that mistake, instead of chasing the high priest, you will go to hell, instead of the pursuit of happiness, you will take infinite suffering. That is why I say taking refuge is the highest option, there is nothing more important.

When you take refuge with me, think carefully and clearly identify the path you want to go.

Before all the Buddhas, let each person sincerely confess all their past sins. If so, sin will be eliminated and good roots will grow. If not sincere, the poor still remain, good roots hard to germinate. It all depends on sincerity and determination, avoiding delusion. When taking refuge in the Three Jewels, you must be sincere, or you will not be touched.

After truly taking refuge in the Triple Gem until the day of becoming a Buddha, if you have a firm faith and a morality of pay, there will be no problems. Otherwise, forget about becoming a Buddha, and it is not easy to become a human being. If you do not practice, not only the laity but the renunciants will still have to go to hell.

So the laity, put all your effort into studying Buddha-dharma. Respect the Three Jewels, make offerings to the Three Jewels, believe in and serve the Triple Gem for a lifetime, and you will be inspired. Otherwise, it is like never taking refuge and not having any induction at all.

When you wake up in the morning, before the Buddhas, make four great vows as the Bodhisattvas have done. In the early evening ask yourself, "Are sentient beings boundless, devoured? Endless afflictions to plead? Be vows to sentient beings, vow to cease afflictions. Are immeasurable disciplines taught? If you are busy at work, you will have to spend time chanting, and practicing immeasurable disciplines, unsuccessful Buddhism, you have not become a Buddha, you are still a mortal. to attain Buddhahood. "

Every day when you wake up, make four great prayers and come night to review yourselves whether you have practiced the prayer or not?

"The ocean is immense, if you turn around you will reach the shore."

Refuge is the first step and must bravely step forward, not retreat backwards. That is the way to Buddhahood.

If you turn back and back, you will fall into three evil paths and stray into eight tribulations. So there is a saying:

Teacher walked to the door

We must cultivate ourselves

If you eat, you will be full

The samsara itself.

Don't think: "I have taken refuge, so I can rely on the Buddha Dharma." Even if the Buddha Dharma has enough miraculous powers, it will not help us to attain Buddhahood, nor can we help ourselves to master the Buddha-Dharma and practice the religious practice. Thanks to the Sangha, the Buddha-dharma was propagated in the world.

Even though you take refuge in the Three Jewels, you still have to work hard to advance. If you can keep no killing, no stealing, no adultery, no lying, no drunkenness, you have actually taken the five precepts. If still killing, stealing, adultery, lying, intoxicated, then not really life in the world.

If you have passed away without observing the five precepts, the karma will get worse because you will intentionally break the precepts, and you will be lost.

Can't say, "I've taken refuge in the Triple Gem and I have taken the five precepts, then I'm blessed. I have killing, stealing, adultery, lying or drunk."

Some people think, "If the laypeople do not observe the five precepts and have to receive such a heavy karma, what about the renunciants who do not observe the precepts? Do they suffer from heavier karma?" Remember this:

"Bodhisattva does not know others

Amitabha Buddha contemplates himself. "

Day and night, consider yourself, control your behavior and reflect back. "Do you keep the precepts, do you commit any transgressions? From the time of taking refuge to now, are you a devout Buddhist, or have you turned to Christianity, Islam or any other religion? Did you study? heathen evil? "

After taking refuge must have definitive attitude. "No matter who threatens to kill if we believe in Buddha, or if we live if we abandon Buddha, then we still do not believe in the pagan."

The pagan includes all the ghosts in the heavenly realms, there are enough magical powers, thousands of variables and mysterious mysteries. We always develop magical power. On the contrary, the disciple of Buddha does not show magical power. If so, they did not tell anyone. Those who boast that they have magical power, natural eye, etc., are all of the evil types mentioned in the "The 50 Realms of the 50-Ghost Realm" chapter of the Shurangama Sutra, or if they are disciples of the ghosts, or disciple of the heathen.

Therefore, we Buddhists must have the Dharma-eyes. While looking for a teacher, do not initiate greed, don't be desirable, today you hear that the tone is good, according to the tone, tomorrow hears the tantra or the tantra. So even if you practice for the rest of your life, and don't keep the one-pointed-minded mind, it will end up wasting your time.

Take refuge and then you avoid breaking the rules. Be serious diligent in observing the Five-Precious Five-precepts. The Five Precepts are the basis for attaining Buddhahood. The laity has five precepts, the Bhikkhu-stilts has 250 precepts, the Bhikkhu-ni has 348 precepts, you must not violate any one precept, because the purpose of the precepts is to restrain yourself. You try to practice observance of precepts. Otherwise, you are still a mortal.

The Dharma Sangha is very fair, anyone who practices it can gain it, while practicing it doesn't gain it. You follow the example of generals who never dismount, always go straight ahead.

The renunciation of monastic life and the observance of the precepts will support you to be reborn in Supreme Bliss. But please do not forget beings, return to save them. Therefore, you should resolve to witness the Bodhi fruit to save all sentient beings.

Some say they want to save sentient beings right in this life. How to save sentient beings, while they haven't saved themselves? Like Bodhisattva  with clay, through the sinking sea  , who can save? If you want to save sentient beings while not saving yourself as well as leaving the root along the tops, forgetting what is near you and searching for the distant story. I help plowing other people's fields without worrying about my own field, which is a big mistake.

So everyone must try to practice, don't be dependent, thinking: "My master is great wisdom." Even though you have already obtained it, your Master cannot share your wisdom with you. You still have to practice by yourself, otherwise the Buddha in front of you is not sure that it will be able to help you either.

Refuge The Three Jewels Must Keep About


 

You have received the Three Precious and Five Precepts today.

In the olden days, Buddhists took refuge in the Three Jewels without taking refuge in the precepts. After the Buddha entered Nirvana, beings must take precepts as their teacher. Therefore, in the refuge ceremony included the precepts. What is gender? Is to avoid evil, to do good deeds, don't see the small deeds without doing them, and the small deeds that do.

Many Buddhists made a mistake when they followed the Buddha and praised their religion, until they rejected the religion again. There are professionals who go to this place and place, today believe in one religion, another religion tomorrow, and the next day follow another religion. Believe in those sects that one day they will go to hell without any good! Because they do not have a consistent principle, only seek profit, like new things, study tantra, or join clandestine sects that do not openly operate. Eventually become hungry ghosts to hell or animals to bear retribution. It is pitiful!

In today's refuge ceremony, first we take refuge in the Buddha, it is better to let go of life and not to take refuge with heresy or pagan ghosts, for example, with Tu at the ghost. The two words Freedom in order to indulge in heaven, or maybe in some paradise that you've only heard but never seen, so curious to want to go without knowing which direction to go. Then go around in six corners of samsara, into the horse's belly to the donkey, meet King Yama-la, do not escape from hell but still keep being animals. So it is better to die without taking refuge with the Self in the ma. The disciple of the pagan angel who always bragged and deified himself said, "If you believe my words, you will immediately become enlightened. You can become Buddha in this life. You do not need to keep gender, vegetarian or alienating from the opposite sex. "

They talk about all kinds of things that make you bewildered by the magic, and then stray into the evil path that is difficult to regress.

So don't be greedy, don't be greedy, don't enjoy. Having taken refuge in the Triple Gem, there must be a life in harmony with nature, not taking advantage of deception or flattering others. Not taking refuge with the Self in the ma, but only reverently taking refuge in the Buddha, the Tathagata Buddha, full enlightenment and wisdom.

Having taken refuge in France, it would be better to let go of the body, not to take refuge with the pagan minister, or according to the theories, bibliographies and documents published and published by pagan disciples. Not taking refuge in evil letters means not reading, not studying and studying those types after taking refuge in the Dharma.

Taking refuge in the Sangha is taking refuge with the ten Noble Truths, not with disciples of lost sects. Follow them and you'll fall with them to hell, so don't take refuge with them. So which monks must take refuge? Take refuge with tranquility and bless the Sangha, just as we sow the rice seedlings in the blessed field. Why take refuge in Sangha? Because the Dharma is propagated by the Sangha. If you take refuge in the Sangha, you will have the opportunity to know Buddha-dharma, and once you have mastered the Buddha-dharma you can become Buddha. So, you have to take refuge with the Sangha, not with the pagan devils who spread the wrong views and wrong views. Don't listen to their bragging that their eyes are glowing, their nostrils can speak, their ears are edible. The demons themselves cannot do that, let alone them. They bluntly said to deceive people.

Having taken refuge in the Three Jewels, you must have right understanding, stop removing wrong views and wrong views!

Why purify a pure Buddhist monk with a blessed field? Pure means no infection. An uninfected person will advise you not to fight, not to greed, not to pray, not to be self-sufficient, not to be selfish, and not to lie. The one who keeps the precept without greed, is a pure monk, a treasure field. If someone is very happy to receive some money, it is not a blessing. To be offered or not offered, nor to the heart, not to flatter the rich, nor to despise the poor, is the pure blessing of the Sangha. You must distinguish between those two classes of people. Otherwise, you always have an unrefined map.

Next is taking refuge in the precepts, that is, not to do evil, but to do good deeds, even if there are a few evil ideas in mind.

Someone will say: "But bad thoughts often arise, so what to do?"

Run evil thoughts? Slowly calm the negative thoughts, don't let them drag you along with them. For example: "Ah! I want to kill that person." Next thought: "OK Let's go kill it immediately." That is his evil thoughts attracted people. But if the person thinks, "Ah! He has a very rare diamond, I have to find a way to steal it." It was an evil thought, but he was not drawn, and the evil thought to disappear also disappeared.

It is often said that if you do not initiate a bad idea  like a man and woman , it is mindfulness. The opposite is evil thoughts. So be diligent in practicing the moral precepts, quenching the craving for anger and delusion. There is another saying: "Don't do an evil deed even small, don't overlook a small deed." Practicing that ethic is the precepts.

Taking refuge in the precepts, over time we will accumulate merit, open the great wisdom, fullness and happiness, eventually attain the supreme noble mindfulness, attain the result of a-nậu-multi-la tam. -the triangle-bodhi. With the result of Bodhi, turn the boat of compassion back to the level of sentient beings. That is the basis that all Buddhists who take refuge in the Triple Gem need to be mindful. We must not create negative karma, take advantage of Buddhism to plot for our own gain. If so, it was a huge mistake. Do you understand what I said? (The audience answered in unison: Yes)

We must practice the four great vows:

1. "Immeasurable beings swear vows."  Ask yourself whether you have saved any beings yet? If not, do I have a suicide? What is suicide? Am I worthy of being a sincere Buddhist who took refuge in Buddha? Or do we just go to Buddhism to ploy? Do I take advantage of religion to deceive people for money? If he did so, he would not only be able to save sentient beings, but he would also go to hell. That's what we have to be aware of first. We have to set a good example for people to start a Bodhi mind, only one person is okay. Gradually there will be two people, three people, four people, more or less before with time. Saving sentient beings is like that.

2. "Disturbing endless vow paragraph."  Ask yourself whether you have eradicated negativity, put an end to anger, and other types of temperament? Are you human or animal? Do I want to end defilements? First cut the negativity, eradicate mad anger. That's the true Buddhist.

3. "The immeasurable discipline vows to learn."  Ask yourself whether you study any disciplines, or just read pornography all the time? Or read romance novels? Or just thinking of unrighteous things, and wasting time with unhelpful things? Do I study classics? Please answer those questions. And we have to practice the disciplines. Why? Because we vow to become Supreme Bodhisattva Buddhism.

4. "Supreme Buddhist Buddhism, vowing to become."  Ask yourself if you have attained enlightenment? In order to do so, we must be courageous in initiating bodhicitta, always diligent, never rotten. In this way, the power of the four great vows will assist us in our practice to attain the Bodhisattva-Samyutta Dharma. If you do not practice the above things, even though you have taken refuge in the Triple Gem, you do not understand what the true meaning of the Triple Jewel is.

The Three Jewels of Refuge: Not For The Pursuit of the East


 

 

Those who have taken refuge before, do not take refuge again. Why?

1. To avoid the situation of scrambling for disciples and fighting against each other within the Buddhism. Because they compete for their rights, they created mutual hatred for each other like water conflict with fire.

2. Because if anyone who has taken refuge today has taken refuge before, Buddhism will not gain new disciples. Buddhists jumping from one temple to another are not genuine disciples of Buddha.

3. I am not really virtuous enough to be able to accept those who have taken refuge in the Triple Gem for the first time as disciples, let alone those who have taken refuge before. However, any person who has received permission from their guru, or guru who has passed away, or has disappeared, or has completed, I will accept.

You must be true Buddhists, not be deluded. If you do not trust your guru, what does taking refuge mean? Use Trach-phan-label, not blindly following others. Buddhists should not profit individually, but must suffer the disadvantage. The world is worse and worse because people only know self-interest and kill each other for greed.

I personally only accept to be disadvantaged, so I never accept offerings to me personally. However, if anyone wants to donate ashrams to the community, I welcome them. I want to support the community, not the pursuit of privacy for me. I vowed:

Although Cold died, not fate

Although starving to death, do not beg

Although poor dead, no need to edge

Dependent dependence, unchanging

Three Great Principles  we always preserve.

When we created the base of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, everyone who saw the vast terrain of the forest would retreat for fear I would ask them to make offerings. But I didn't call for help, I did it myself, and I didn't expect any compensation.

"Right Livelihood for the Sangha" means that monks must strictly observe the Buddha's precepts. For example, the Sangha has to make special precepts. If not up the medical world, it was really vulgar. Buddha also ordered to eat only one meal a day before noon. Refrain from eating like that to ward off evil spirits and control desires (we ourselves have three ghost bodies. If we eat too much, the body will rebel).

Less desire will be easier to cultivate. So do not use too nutritious food. Such is the rule of Ten Thousand Buddhas.

Although no one is perfect, I hope that each of us will try to rectify ourselves to progress on the path.

Today is the day that your roots and your Bodhi seeds will sprout.

Taking refuge in the Triple Gem is like being born with open eyes, but don't go astray. Born with open eyes mean? It means you start your new life with your eyes open to the right path. You must be aware of these two things. Why do I take refuge? Why do I want to take refuge in the Three Jewels? This is important. Do not take refuge just because others also take refuge, or imitate people to bow to Buddha, then we will also bow to Buddha!

What is the Three Jewels of Refuge? I do not know!

What is prostration to Buddha? I do not know!

You go to the refuge and don't know why! So is it that you close your eyes and cultivate, close your eyes and follow others? Open your eyes, clearly identify the road in front of you, then bravely step forward, not rotten.

Today is the time of France. What is Dharma mites? Means Buddha-Dharma on the way to decline. We are living in the fall of the Buddha-Dharma. The sun is shining, but the road ahead is still unclear. Hope is very small. However, it is also at this time that we need to be vigorously diligent on our way to the finish line. That is the great idea of ​​taking refuge in the Three Jewels.

Today there are deep-rooted good people who come to take refuge in the Three Jewels, have the Bodhisattva incarnation to take refuge, incarnate dragon deities to take refuge, there are human beings to take refuge, and there are even demons to take refuge. again. It can be said that this is the first refuge ceremony held at a large scale in the Dharma Realm of Holy City  (*) . The guardian deities, the sky of the dragon bowl full of nowhere to direct colon to protect this colon. Your prayers for the future will be witnessed by the Dharma protectors.

I myself have a humble prayer: Whoever took refuge with me or not yet taken refuge, who believed in Buddha or still believed in other religions, all if not yet become Buddha, I will wait until they become Buddha. I became a Buddha.

Go ahead, do not indulge in laziness, transform bad habits into good, avoid evil from doing good, renew yourself on the day. Be strong and diligent toward Bodhi. Don't make me wait too long! Maybe I won't be able to wait anymore.
