LEGEND OF DUY-MA-TAM

CHAPTER END: TRANSMISSION.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

Once, Buddha resided in Xa-Wai. Noon that day, Persian, King of the sentence-slap-la go to Germany World Religion. He had just finished inventory of assets, "up to eight million gold coins", of a rich man who just died without an heir. This wealth of assets was added to the royal palace. The millionaire lived while there were countless possessions, but he only wore rags, ate only with sour soup, and traveled with a broken carriage. Not enjoying life himself, nor his wife and children. In the end, he died like everyone else, but worse, no one condemned, property confiscated.

By that, Buddha taught:

"Hey King, like a lake in place without people, clear, cool, sweet water. But no one came to get water to drink or to wash. Such water is not used in the right place will dry up. Similarly, an unrighteous human being possesses great wealth without bringing peace to himself, to his parents, to his wife, children, and friends; no alms for Sa-Mon, Ba-la-Mon, alms to give results of peace, natural birth. Assets that are not used in the right place will be confiscated by the king, robbed, swept away, and wasted by children .... ”[1]

Then another time, a householder went to Buddha and requested:

"We are living at home, enjoying the sensual pleasures, being tied to your wife and children, using the best fry-fry incense, wearing garlands, anointing aromas, applying wax powder, accumulating gold and silver. Pray for the Blessed One to preach to us, so that it will bring us peace in this life and the next. "

Such laypeople, though coming to Buddha, wish to hear the Dharma, but still do not give up their material enjoyment in worldly life. Buddha is not so rejected. In order to pursue peace with the enjoyment of sex, the homeowners must first know how to create proper possessions, and use the right dharma.

Buddha taught:

"There are five dharmas for the laypeople to bring about the present bliss: essentialness, protection, goodness, and balance of revenue and expenditure." [2]

How is essential? The laypeople took careers to make waves: either farming, or trading, or raising animals, or serving as kings for the king. He is technically proficient in his career, industrious, not lazy, knows the means by himself and instructs others to do it. By such diligence, resourcefulness, sweat and labor, one's wealth is legally built, rightly Dharma.

Second, he knows how to protect the wealth he has accumulated, not to be confiscated by the king, not to be robbed by enemies, fire, water, and devastated children. Thirdly, he communicates with good people, those who have faith, have sex, know alms, know and know. Fourth, he knows the import and export balance; not to be squandered "like a figs eaters"; nor stingy, stingy, dared not spend, "like the starving man."

These are the four conditions for homemakers to increase their physical assets, in order to satisfy the need for worldly enjoyment of sex. But he must also know how to invest in the future, cultivate blessings for the future. In order to give peace in the future, people need to meet five elements: faith, gender, compassion and wisdom. But to be able to go further, with enough salary to go to a place of peace, long-term happiness, he needs to accumulate seven types of assets: credit, evil, precious, multi-literate, alms and hue. [3 ]

People accumulate wealth to use for today, and for tomorrow. But then it engenders greed, consequences; don't know how to share, don't give to others, don't know how to invest in peace in the future. “The fool thinks that this is my children, this is my wealth. But I am not even mine; more is the children, the wealth. ”[4] Therefore, the wise man seeks happiness and peace for himself, so he knows and gives.

Buddha taught:

“In the house that is on fire, what property is brought out,

They are not burnt, and they are useful.

Also, the world is burning with old age and death,

Bring it out by almsgiving; what is given is carried out safely. ”[5]

In that sense, the Bodhisattva practices in the middle of his life, accumulating wealth for his wealth, not accumulating himself for his own sake, for everyone, in this life and the next. Therefore, Bodhisattva published six six-la-security, and four photographers. In the six paramitas, the beginning accomplishment is almsgiving. From almsgiving one by one accomplishes the next perfections. [6]

But in all almsgiving, dharma giving is paramount. [7] What is almsgiving? By his study and practice with respect to the Dharma that he taught, fully aware that it was the path to immortality, enlightenment and Nirvana, to practice on his own, and to teach others to understand, together guide on maintenance. Within the worldly scope, it is to provide knowledge and wisdom to others, to prepare luggage to experience life's path, and to make capital to invest in true peace. But more noble than all, is the luggage leading to a place of peace, peace and salvation. Such giving alms also with French offerings.

In the distant past times, there was King Buddha Tathagata. At that time, there was King Bao Cai. The king has a son named Bao Nguyet. One day Prince Bao Nguyet sat alone thinking: "Is there any greater offering than the offering we made?" Then the answer came from nothingness: "Offering the dharma is the ultimate in all offerings." [8]

What is almsgiving? Prince Bao Nguyet went to ask King Buddhist Medicine. Buddha taught:

"This is a good son, offering the Dharma is, for the profound sūtras taught by the Buddhas, unbelievable and hard to accept for all the world, wonderful, hard to see, pure, immaculate, cannot take private only distinguish that understand; it is a treasure in the Dharma store of Bodhisattva, imprinted with the seal of da-la-ni; leading to any rotten transition, achievement of six degrees, cleverly distinguish meaning, pros with France Bodhi, is the ultimate Sutta; help people to go into pronouns, great compassion, away from ghosts and wrong views, in accordance with the law of predestined relationships, no-self, no-self, no-being, no-life, no, no-faceless, unconditional, non-initiate; or lead sentient beings to sit at the ashram and transfer the dharma; praised by Heaven, Dragon, Can-thát-Bà; or taking sentient beings into the Fa-rectification treasure of the Buddhas, gaining all the wisdom of the Holy Sage, teaching the path of their Bodhisattva action; y on the true meaning of the law that explains the meaning of impermanence, suffering, no, no-self and passing away; can save people who violate the prohibition; scares us ghosts, pagans and greedy people; praised by the Buddhas and Saints; because sweeping away the suffering of life and death, only the joy of Nirvana, but the Buddhas of the ten directions and three generations of teachings.

"If you listen to this sutta and believe, pray, recite it, because sentient beings use the means to explain to them clearly, because they are the Dharma protectors, so-called Dharma offerings.

"Again, according to the Dharma that has been preached and practiced, according to the twelve conditions and conditions, away from wrong views, the achievement of non-arising, assertion of non-self and non-sentient beings, but for conditions and conditions, retribution , it is not contrary, does not argue, leaving the premises; y the meaning rather than the language language, medical knowledge rather than consciousness, medical willow meaning rather than medical not willow meaning; medicine, not medicine people preach; Depending on the general, no place to enter, no place to go, ignorance ultimately ceases, so the action will also cease, until the ultimate cessation of death, so that the old-death also ceases. Contemplating like that, the twelve conditions and conditions have no generals. It is the ultimate offering method. ”[9]

Almsgiving and offerings, behavior, and objects are not the same, as both start from the same foundation: offering together what they have, or giving to beings, or offering sages. Therefore, almsgiving has two talents and legal solutions, then cozy atmosphere also has two: cozy atmosphere and material offerings, and France, or in short: also French. [10]

At the hour before entering Nirvana, the Buddha lay between two sa-sa-song roots, then the heavenly flowers fell on the Tathagata body, and the heavenly music was played, to make offerings to the Tathagata body. But, then Buddha said to Ananda:

“But Ananda, so it is not respect, worship, prostration, offering or respect Tathagata. Ananda, if there are bhikkhus, bhikkhunis, male or female laity who attains Dharma and Custom, live righteous in the Dharma, practice right Dharma, at the time he or she respects, adores, paying homage, offering to the Tathagata with the highest offering. Therefore, Ananda, attain Dharma and Custom, live righteously in Dharma and practice right Dharma. Hey Ananda, you have to study like that. ”[11]

That is the last teaching of Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha in the present time. In the distant past, the Buddha also taught the same. In the future, Buddha Maitreya will appear and will teach the same. The content of the cited passages, from the Pali Dictionary and from the  Only Duy-ma-theory basis , generally similar, only different in terms of self-expression. So, through all acts and languages of Duy-ma-ma, which many have seen, are surrealistic, impossible to think. But it is not just to express the daily realization of experience, which cannot be expressed in language clearly.

What the Buddha taught, the truth that Buddha proclaimed, was really close in real life; but when it is experienced, that truth, or the Buddha's Dharma, has the power to move many of the world's great heavenly beings, like Duy-ma-Buddha carrying the whole Buddha realm in the palm of his hand to travel through countless Buddha realms. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.28/5/2020.
