       Cause and effect in Buddhism is a combination of predestined conditions, which is the process caused by sensual effects. Under the influence of predestined seeds, such as seeds sown into the ground, they still need soil, light, water ... the causes and conditions to achieve the seed can germinate and flower the results. From that, we can see that in our lives, we have cultivated many good people or bad people, but the process from the planted ones will depend on karmic retribution depending on the harmony of conditions.

       So, fortunes may have a predetermined factor, but it can still be through effort in life that has been changed, unlike Tuc Luan Luan that everything has been set and cannot change. This view has many instabilities such as someone who should have lived to be 80 years old but encountered the impact of the external factors of life, so in a moment, he jumped to his death when he was only 30 years old. So is it because fortunes have been arranged already? Just like a child, who will be healthy and mature, because his parents do not care for him, do not worry about eating and making the child undernourished, leading to such illnesses due to predestination is not? Again, there are people who think superficially, listen to bad people do illegal things, Then is that sin also predetermined? If so, is it punished by law? So the mechanical cause and effect mentioned by Tuc Luan is only a part of the problem if taking a point to represent the whole, there will be many mistakes in the conclusion.

Confucianism also refers to cause and effect but mainly from social reality and real life to explain but not like the cause-and-effect principle of Buddhism throughout the past, present and future generations. How did Buddha Dharma explain the principle of cause and effect? The Ten Great Controversies is a set of introductions on the cause and effect of good and evil and human life. In order to understand the contents of the sutta, we first need to understand the following:

What factors exist in human society that make it so insecure? Achievements are from police, director, lust, hope that out. Slaughter includes war, violence and the killing of sentient beings. Killing people, setting fire are killing, killing pigs and killing goats is also killing. Religion is not just robbing, carving, digging all the acts taken by others to do it ... are all thieves. Dâm including evil conduct, unrighteous behavior. Vong includes deceitful words to harm his good people. All offenses are committed from these four things. What about killing, directing, lusting, and from Some people believe that it is from the issue of education, the moral issue of the people, the issue of social regimes. Of course there is also a part of the problem that comes out but that is not the basic, the root problem is from the mind. Inward greed, hatred, ignorance,

The greed leads to war for possession of the land, the interests of others. During the peace period, the greedy mind also led to the phenomenon of "plotting to kill the network" to the friends and relatives also for the sake of cheating each other. Greed also leads to theft, adultery, and language. Because of greed, money and money that kill robbers, appropriating the property of others, because of greed, there is an act of adultery. Because of greed, but to cheat people, because of greed, they lie, because they cheat and lie, to buy and sell children, buy and sell drugs, avoid tax on smuggling, produce and sell fake goods, acts of social instability. Until ignorance known as ignorance is the root of all problems. Because of ignorance, being born of anger arises countless afflictions. Buddhism calls greed and hatred the three poisons, the three great roots that harm the social security and spiritual life of mankind. Greed, hatred, and ignorance exist any day society is not peaceful on that day. So want to improve social morality must embark on the improvement of humanity. That is exactly what the Confucianist said, "Righteous mind, cultivating body, qi dynasty, ruling the nation, pacifying the world" "University Signing Ceremony" said: Elf country; education to treat the national flag, to pay for the nation, to pay for the nation, to pay for the nation, to educate the country, the wealth of the mind, "shows that the basis of improving the world must each person,

  1. 4.     The three vehicles of Buddhism

There are many people who study the Buddha for themselves at a high level to read only the Mahayana, Avatamsaka Sutra and Mahayana Sutras. But in everyday life is not applicable at all. When defilement arises, it is still disturbing. When suffering is still painful. The scriptures read through are just battles on paper that have little effect. The reason why? It is also because we ignore the most basic things in studying Buddha. have not undergone the complete practice of Nhan Thien and Thanh Van, we will not understand how to bring the teachings thoroughly applied into the mind, do not know how to gradually develop centrifugal sex, arouse bodhicitta if there are no such mental virtues, even if there is a larger study of the dharma, it will not work.

Regardless of what dharma practice the first thing is where the mind arises. Due to the mind that determines the position in the three vehicles of Dharma practice. From this meaning, we can see that although the five moral precepts are the content of the practice of the People of the Mantrayana, but if we use the mind of renunciation, and the knowledge and knowledge of Thanh Van, the five precepts and the ten virtues can still become Achievement should be made from the director of liberation If we take the Bodhi mind and see the Bodhisattva location to practice, the five precepts and the ten virtuous paths can also attain the bodhisattva salary and become the emperor of Buddhahood.

In fact, many people learn the Mahayana dharma, but they generate the mind of the Hinayana in pursuit of personal bliss and have never made a wish for renunciation, this is a very common phenomenon of people studying Buddhism. in the practice of non-correspondence, which is the main obstacle that makes the practice without progress to turn around this issue, it is necessary to embark on the service of the five moral precepts, on this basis and generate glass, mind Bodhi. So it can be seen that the five precepts, the ten virtues, although very common, are the basic foundation that cannot be overlooked in the process of studying Buddhism.

From the Tang and Song dynasties to the present time, the Pure Land Amitabha method has developed in Chinese traditional Buddhism, especially in recent years, this method has become more and more prevalent in the countries that follow the Buddhism. Regarding the practice of Pure Land, there are points to mention later.
