CHAPTER IX: THE SPIRIT OF THE BODY.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
[From solemn solemnity, sentient beings are not harmed. Strictly compassionate, hard-minded beings are often incompetent. Hy solemnly happy, good faith in the mind harmless mind. Discharge is solemn, favorable micro-mindless scene favored mind]. The text says about the four immeasurable minds, which is also the spirit of the Bodhisattva that helps us to cultivate such compassionate and compassionate hearts, The Buddhist learners want to attain the fullness of personality like the Buddhas, the compassionate and the attainment of compassion. wisdom like the Buddhas must start from the path of Bodhisattva practice. Starting from equality, joy, misery, data.
- From immeasurable
[From solemn solemnity, sentient beings are not harmed]. The word micro-data is for the person who is happy, cultivates the mind of compassion, and at the same time helps to keep away the harmful brain mind, never reciting the mind to hurt others. For all sentient beings, including those who are hostile to oneself or who have harmed them equally, do not discriminate, use compassion to treat them. That is the spirit of "ungainly pronoun" of Buddhism. Ungainly means no need for any conditions People who help others often have many conditions to think about, do they have a relationship with them, do they need help, do they affect their career, bring trouble or not, in their heart? Always start calculations before practicing help. And in the eyes of the Bodhisattva, all sentient beings are equal, sentient beings to sentient beings are equal, sentient beings to themselves are also equal, no one has any intention of harming anyone, no one is not thinking of himself. If we are aware that there is no difference between people and us, between ourselves and sentient beings, we will naturally think that for others more, nature will give to all. It is truly from the heart of the Bodhisattva.
- Bi immeasurable.
[Strictly compassionate, diligent beings are often incompetent]. Compassionate suffering, that is saving, eliminating suffering for sentient beings. Because of the immeasurable mind practice, one often arises with the mind of all sentient beings without initiating fatigue. The spirit of Buddhism is great compassion. The same is to see sentient beings and oneself as one, knowing pain with the pain and suffering of sentient beings, what one needs is exactly what one needs. In the Shakyamuni Sutra, someone asked layman Shakyamuni why he was sick, and he answered, "All sicknesses of sentient beings are ours. When sentient beings get out of sickness, our time is out of sickness. " Just like a mother to her children, no matter how great the suffering is, she voluntarily endures for her child, even giving her life in exchange for her life.
Bodhisattva practice must know how to bring the mother's love for children to develop to countless beings. So, not only to relatives but also to extend our compassion to all those who are even resentment, even for all the smallest insect animals still have great heartlessness. from compassion, great compassion to accomplish the process of practicing generous compassion of Buddhism.
- Pounds of immeasurable.
[Hy solemnly happy, good faith in mind harmless mind center]. Jubilation is a joy, as opposed to jealousy. People because of ego often born jealousy with the success of others, due to the obstacles caused by envy, it is very difficult to arise from the inner heart of rejection to others. But with the immeasurable practice of Bodhisattva, inwardly, one must generate joy before all the good deeds and with the person who does so. That is also the criterion to test immeasurable mind, when seeing others cultivate immediately, the mind will rejoice or initiate jealousy and envy. Just by initiating a mind which is not sparse, even small, can prove that one has not attained immeasurable bliss.
The process of practicing immeasurable bliss is similar to the process of practicing immeasurable compassion. First, we must start with our loved ones, rejoice in their accomplishments, sincerely praise them like their parents rejoice, be proud of their children's accomplishments, and then replicate that joy. with many people, including strangers to me. And finally, to those who are jealous of me still admire their happiness and accomplishments, not only with words but also inside.
- Immeasurable discharge.
[Discharge solemnly, uu unconscious micro scene mindless mind]. Discharge equals equality, as opposed to discrimination. The practice of immeasurable discharge must have an equitable mind between a resentful person and a relative, not using the mind of hatred but using the equitable mind to treat the relative's family with predestination and adversity, and develop that mentality to the end. all sentient beings, all situations. Of the four immeasurables, equanimity is very important. If attaining equanimity is achieved, compassion and joy are bound to be achieved because if we still have the distinction between good and bad, it is very easy to be compassionate towards one person and not be compassionate towards others, easy to rejoice with some objects but not be able to rejoice with some people that we don't want.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.29/5/2020.
