THE UNITED STATES SECTOR consists of seven volumes, divided into twenty-eight products. Prussian Food is the twenty-fifth product, but in the old text is the twenty-fourth, because there is a lack of De-Ba-Dat-Da (twelfth product). The Prussian Products display the miraculous supernatural merit and the inconceivable realm of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.

There are ten conditions to say Prussia; it is 1) Dharma, 2) Compassion, 3) Phuoc Hue, 4) Chon Ung, 5) Duoc Chau, 6) Secret Showing, 7) True Rights, 8) Analytic, 9) Charming Willow, and 10) Intelligence.

1. Dharma:  "Human" means person, and here is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara; while "Dharma" is the practice of Prussian Monk.

Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara can save sentient beings from seven kinds of accidents, eliminate the three poisons, and fulfill the two wishes of sentient beings; so he is an inconceivable figure. He again said the Prussian Prayer Show, there is all-round, impassive. This "Dharma" is an inconceivable discipline; Because he could not think of a table, he called it Magical. Because the Human (person) here can not think, so it can also be called Noble. Being the Noble One, the new Noble Truth is worthy of being called Prussian, so it can be called True-General-fits. So, due to the causes of Nhan and France, should say Prussian Mon.

2. Compassion:  due to the cause of Tu and Bi, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara says this Prussian Prayer. Why is it called "From?" Funny word for you. Why is it called "Bi?" Bi or save suffering.

Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara saves seven kinds of distress, eliminates three kinds of poisons, and meets the two wishes of sentient beings.

Seven things in the text speak very meticulously; these include fire, water victims, La-Sat (storms), stick-sticks, demons, shackles (tuberculosis), and robbery.

What are the three poisonous things? Those are the three poisons of greed, hatred and delusion.

Two things to pray for are to give birth to a boy and to have a daughter.

In every being there are three things poison greed, hatred and delusion. However, if people are greedy, they often respectfully respect the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, then they will be free of greed. If many people who have a lot of yard, often respectfully respect the Quan Yin Bodhisattva, they will leave the yard. If people have a lot of ignorance, they often respectfully respect the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara then leave si.

This greed, if enumerated, is numerous, the pitch is not less, and si is not much but also not less. Say it a lot is not necessarily much, say it is less is not less. Why is it called si, or foolish? Due to lack of wisdom, no deep understanding, no sense is implied, found that the reason is not found (true knowledge), so called ignorance. Because foolishness, even though he saw that argument was incorrect, knew it was that and didn't know why.

Based on the doctrine of Wang Yangming, a Chinese scholar, the ignorant person is the one who cannot practice unity. According to him, he did not do it because he did not know; If he knows, he will do it immediately. He said that those who know but do not do it because they do not really know; If he knows the truth, he will.

Wang Yangming is a very famous scholar in China, his doctrine is Tri Hanh Hop Nhat - knowing and doing is one - if the real people know, they will definitely practice; Just because he doesn't know, he doesn't do it. This also means that the righteous knows, not to do foolish things. Why do people work foolishly? Because he doesn't understand, doesn't know. So I say this is inappropriate.

There is a poem about the foolish as follows:

Bright and beautiful flowers are all beautiful,

The moon is awkward every night,

The Earth has streams, all become alcohol.

Old forest without trees does not shake money.

The flower-loving person who ignores the mind says: "I want this flower to be forever beautiful, to not fade; the morning is beautiful like this."

People who participated in the full moon said: "What bright moon is afraid of every full night? Last night the full moon was beautiful, if the moon was full every night, how good! Every night outdoors watching the moon, the bright moon. it's enough, there's no need to use electric lights, and it costs less, but it's also good to use natural light! "

Isn't that foolish? The full moon has alternates, the flowers have bloom. Flowers bloom, there must be flowers at the end, the full moon must have a waning moon.

People who like to drink wine think: "Every day I go to buy wine, and whiskey or brandy is very expensive. If all the ponds on this earth turn into ponds, so when I crave wine, just go to the pond. scoop it up, it's so convenient! "

And those who love money dream: "I have to work now to make money, it is too hard. I wish all the trees would turn into 'money trees,' on the tree with gold and silver coins. dollars, so when you need money, just picking it down to spend it is so convenient! "

Those unfulfilled desires are all delusion. Take again an easy to understand example. Like someone who doesn't go to school, even if he hasn't even attended elementary school - high school doesn't say it - but wants to get a PhD at university. Did you say this was reasonable? If he has not studied in elementary school, how can a doctorate be issued to him?

There are also people who do not work in the field, but want to harvest like people! Those are foolish! Even someone who does not buy lottery tickets but wants to win the lottery, what a foolish idea! However, most people suffer from the idea of ​​"do not want to eat but want to eat." So what to do? There is something this needs to be corrected.

Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara saved seven victims, the third poison, two aspirations, that is great compassion. He again benefited all sentient beings, making beings leave misery and joy, which is Pronoun. Because of the cause of great compassion, He said this Quan Yin Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.

3) Phuoc Hue: The  Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is able to "see the sound of suffering," distinguish all the different sounds of the world - good, evil, misery, joy, right, disturbance -is because he has the right wisdom.

Where did his wisdom come from? Because he was giving alms Prussia, thanks to bringing that dharma bestowed to sentient beings, so He was blessed by this newspaper-solemn merit. Therefore, it is said that due to predestination Phuoc Hue said Universal Products.

4) Chon Ung:  "Chon" is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara using the power of his feet to rescue the seven victims, eliminate the three poisons, and satisfy the two wishes of sentient beings. He again manifested thirty-two applications, also called candidates, to educate beings; Therefore, there is the cause of this Chon Ung

5) Duoc Chau:  Why is it called "Pharmacy?" "Pharmaceutical" this is Pharmaceutical-United-United-life. Why is it called Pharmaceutical-king-longevity? A long, long time ago, a person came to the mountain to collect firewood and sold it at the market. A certain doctor saw that in his burden of lightwood, he bought all of it. Go home, he went out to see the firewood see inside there is a piece of pharmaceutical-King. After the physician was drug-king-longevity, met with any disease, just take the drug-king-life gently tap on the body of the sick person, or lightly hit one, the sickness is instant, how much can be saved many people. That is why it is called Du-king-longevity.

Why is it called "Chau?" "Chau" this is Nhu Y Bao Chau. Why is it called Nhu Yien treasure? "As you wish" is contentment, which is also to make you happy, to satisfy your requirements, to meet all your wishes.

If you want to eat something, then As Italy immediately appear it, you do not need to go to buy. If you want to wear a beautiful outfit, just like Nhu Y Chau think that: "I want to have a very nice outfit, few in the world," then Nhu Yien immediately appeared the outfit as you wish want. Even if you want a home, it can be shown. If you wish: "I want to live in a luxurious house tonight" then this continent will show you the house as you wish. After staying one night, on the second day, the house automatically returns to Nhu Y Chau.

What you want to eat, As Italy immediately appears that formula, the amount just right, not redundant. Regarding clothes, you also do not need to buy clothes, just take off, then the clothes automatically return in Like Italy. Therefore, the European grain called "Nhu Y," satisfied content, it is miraculous. Like Italy how big? This continent is very small, can take with you arbitrarily it's not heavy and doesn't take up space.

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva Prudential Products are like Pharmaceutical-United-United-life and As Italy, can make people satisfied, contented. As long as you recite the Praying Mantra, pray that your expenses will be satisfied. But not today chanting, effective tomorrow. Firstly, it is necessary to prepare a very stable establishment, like building an upstairs house, first of all it must be a solid foundation; if the foundation is not strong, the house cannot be built.

Pho Mon Pham even though it has the same sacred touch as Medicine-king-life and Nhu Y Chau, is also an inconceivable miracle, but first you need to recite the Prussian Prayer. You must chant each day and recite until the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara recognizes that you are right and sincere, and then you pray for anything you want to be satisfied. It is impossible not to normally chant, recite immediately when you want to pray for induction. Therefore, normally you also have to be certain to practice, so when the need arises, Prussian Prayer will display the inconceivable wonders like the Medicine-king and the Vajrayana. But first, you need to recite yourself regularly!

Someone said: "In Buddhism there is so much to learn! Having recited the Surangama Mantra, the Great Compassion Mantra, now we have to recite more Priests of Prayer. hours?"

You do not need too much time, as long as you sleep less than an hour a day, talk less, this course can be done immediately. If you don't want to be contented, say, "I don't expect anything. I have no greed, no greed or ignorance!" For those reasons, you don't need to chant and there is nothing left to say!

However, if you feel that in the future, you might encounter an event, want to pray to the Quan Yin Bodhisattva or Buddha for help, then you have to learn a little more Buddha-dharma. Buddha-Dharma is like an immense sea, if you don't drink a drop and you are afraid of it in a lot, the future is definitely impossible to drink all the water in the sea. But as long as you try your best, you can drink as much as you need. Buddha-Dharma is an inexhaustible treasure, using it all the time, so try your best to apply Buddha-Dharma.

So, because of the meaning of Duoc Chau should say Pham Pho Mon.

6) Showing Secret:  "Showing" is a clear manifestation; "Confidential" is a secret secret. You recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, sometimes there is a clear touch, and sometimes there is a silent touch.

Clear touch is the touch that everyone can see and know. For example, the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara saves sentient beings, in Prussian Praying Says, "Oil enters a great fire, fire cannot burn."

In the Shurangama Sutra, when Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva returns to the base of Vien Thong Thong, it is said: "Fire cannot burn because the nature of fire is chon, emptiness is chon fire."

For example, you are sitting in your room, one-pointedly aware of the title of Avalokiteshvara, and suddenly a fire happens. At that time, as long as you can sincerely meditate on the Quan Yin Bodhisattva, even if the next door is burnt, your house will still be unscathed. But it must be unintentional, not intentional!

If you try to set fire to see if your house is on fire, you definitely have to burn! Why? Because you are meant to try Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva! Because you don't have confidence, you can try Him like that. Just like you have a friend, for example, because you want to know if your friend is really sincere with you, is he a good person, "see gold without dazzle" or not, then wait until his friend comes and tries He dropped five hundred dollars to the ground and said to himself, "If he is a good person, even if he knows he doesn't see it, he won't take that money."

Why do you want to challenge your friend? It is because you do not have the right judgment about that friend, you do not know if he is really a good person, so you have to experiment like that.

In the Sutta, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara says, Oil is on fire, fire cannot burn. Regarding this, if you do not believe at all, then Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva will not pay any attention to your impossibility. You want to jump into the ocean and commit suicide, saying, "I jumped into the big sea to see if I could find a shallow place?" You want to test it to see the supernatural miracles of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, which proves that you don't have faith in Him. If you do not have faith in the Bodhisattva, then he may not want to pay attention to your impulses.

You quibble: "If I don't test it, how do I know if it's true or false?" You know it's true, so what? Without knowing that it was true, what to do? You know, you still have to eat and wear clothes everyday to survive; then what do you need to do an extra job?

The touch is obvious and everyone knows it. Like a house next to a fire, but your house does not burn; Isn't that obvious? Everyone knows: "Ah! The person who recites the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara should be inspired! Believing in the Buddha is truly a miracle." That is the apparent touch.

There is also a secret touch. For example, you should have had an accident or fallen into the sea, but in the invisible, inspired by the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, you do not have to face that danger anymore. In secret, He makes your accident go away, without even knowing it at all; It's called secret touch.

As if someone should have been burned to death in a fire, but thanks to him believing in the Quan Yin Bodhisattva, He silently removed the accident for him. It is also a secret touch.

Even if you are sitting on an airplane, the plane should be in trouble - the traffic is now very convenient, but the number of deaths caused by airplanes, trains, taxis ... is also very high- but you have to recite Pho Mon, thanks to reciting the Great Compassion Mantra, by trusting in the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, so he silently, not letting anyone know, quietly helps you to "turn risks into luck." That is called "meeting aggression, turning danger into security."

Nhan's relationship with Show Secret should say Universal Products. This product has the Secret Show-Show, but also the Secret Information also; because Show Secret are all knowledgeable, so the merit of Universal Products is inconceivable.

Prussian Products have countless magic uses, Dai Dai uncle also has such magic. Now I tell you a touch happened in my hometown.

In my northeastern region (Manchuria), there was a very rich farmer. That autumn, he loaded agricultural products into the car and sold them to the market; After selling, bring money home. When still about three miles from home, suddenly encountered bandits to block the bandits. This farmer saw a robbery in front of him, then he panicked and whispered, "What should I do? Run away?" But the bandits saw it and couldn't hide it; If you don't escape, you must be robbed. At that moment, he recited the Great Compassion Mantra, and his horse-drawn carriage continued straight ahead.

As his car approached the bandits, one of the bandits came out of the bandits, went to the front of the car and said, "You give me a whip so I can drive!"

He obeyed, gave the whip to the other person. His car passed by the bandits they didn't seem to hear or hear, so he was not robbed. Waiting for the car to run away to the bandits who could no longer see, the coachman returned the whip to him and said: "Now go away, there is no problem."

The farmer, seeing that the coachman who helped him from the bandits came out, so he thought that he was also the bandit, said, "Dear student, today, thanks to the fairy, I helped you out. robbed, dared to ask the first name is born? Where is it? The future I will go to you to pay homage. "

The other replied, "My name is A The Construction."

You recite the Great Compassion Mantra well know, in the Great Compassion uncle there is not a dharma protector named A The Construction? In the figure, the dharmapala is behind the shoulders with two wings, named A The Construction. But at that moment, the farmer asked himself, "Oh, who is Ah Thach Dung?" Then he forgot that "A The Construction" is a verse in the Great Compassion and the name of a dharma protector.

Until that A-thendha left, no longer seeing, the farmer would remember: "Ah, this is not the A-Thy Guardian in Dai Dai uncle or what?" However, when he remembered, he could not find "A The Construction" anymore, not knowing where he went!

The above is one of the inconceivable realms of Dai Dai. If the farmer thought, "Let me try to recite the Great Compassion Mantra to see if it will work," all A The Construction would not come to save him. It is because he did not want to test it, but only a belief: "Mindfulness of the Great Compassion Mantra will be able to meet the aggression, change risk into security"; and as a result, he was satisfied with the will, not being robbed by bandits.

7) True Power:  Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara uses the power of Dharmakaya and quietly, secretly saving sentient beings, is "True." He used thirty-two applications to reincarnate sentient beings, that is "Right." "Right" is a skillful means, also a temporary method, not a permanent one. Again because the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara uses predestined truth This should be said Prussia Prayer.

8) Calculus:  Why is it called "Ban?" "Plate" is the basis, "product" is the sign. Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara uses a dharmakaya that spreads over all beings; That dharmakaya is "Ban." He used the Application to reincarnate sentient beings; the body is the "product."

The dharmakaya body of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is like a bright moon; and his "fairy" is like a moon shining on a thousand rivers. It is called: "The water fills thousands of rivers with thousands of moonlight." There is only one bright moon illuminating the rivers, all the shadows in the rivers are from the single moon itself. Domestic moon is water, is "area;" The moon in the sky is the "copy."

Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara uses a dharmakaya which appears throughout the mind of all sentient beings, causing them to be overly self-reclaimed, reincarnated in the upper direction, happy to leave suffering, ultimately becoming Buddha.

When someone came here, someone said, "No wonder! The reason that I did not reform too much was because the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara did not appear in my mind, causing me to make so many mistakes and I would not change them anymore. "

Tobacco addicts think: "Probably because Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is not married to me, does not want to help me quit smoking."

People who like to drink say, "I want to study the Buddha Dharma, but unfortunately I cannot quit drinking. It is the fault of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, because he refuses to help me."

They thought like that and rebuked the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara: "The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is unfair! Why does He help people but not me?"

This is so stupid as the more stupid, so the two foolishness piled up. Why is the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara not able to have you? That is because you will not listen to His teachings. You hear the name of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara must be overly self-centered, have to purify your mind. At the same time, it should be understood that:

Understanding it is not to mention,

Knowing the future can be traced.

Everyone must know that the past is past, the story is finished; and the future is coming, we can modify it to follow the path of truthfulness. But you know that trying to commit it will add up. Therefore, it is too misleading to blame the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara for not protecting you! The Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara always wants to protect you, but unfortunately, your door is closed, not allowing Him to enter. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara only sighed: "Oh! How pitiful beings are!" So you should not blame the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, but blame yourself for your lack of enthusiasm.

9) Willow willow:  " Willow " is predestined, "Willow" is willow. Why is it called "Willow?" This cause has ended, has ended. Can also say "willow" means to understand the cause.

During this summer retreat (1968), everyone woke up very early and took every second to learn Buddhism. Those who are far away wake up at four o'clock in the evening to be able to come here to meditate and study the scriptures. There are people who are studying for a Bachelor's or PhD degree at Washington University in Seattle, who are also attending this course. It proves that they are aware of the importance of Buddha-Dharma. Why are they so far away from here to come here (San Francisco) to meditate, study the suttas, study Buddha-dharma? It is because they want to "kill" that "personality". Listening to the sutta is the seed of "willow;" you have predestined to hear the sutras, that is "predestined" of cause. So, because of predestined Duyen Lieu should say this Prussian Mon.

10) Location:  Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara uses wisdom, his solemn wisdom to teach beings, His result is solemn wisdom.

"Tri" is the virtue of Hue, the virtue of wisdom. "Doan" is Doan Duc, that is to eliminate, cut off all ignorance. Doan Duc is also known as Phuoc Duc. Because he eradicated ignorance, should have the righteous merit.

The Buddha is full of both blessing and wisdom; Although Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is Bodhisattva, but he has a solemn blessing and also has solemn virtue. So, "Wisdom" is also called "Phuoc Hue."

Above are ten predestined to say Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the twenty-fifth product of the Lotus Sutra.

Before studying the texts, let's learn about the title of Avalokiteshvara. I believe that the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is very familiar to all of you, because He is a great and compassionate Bodhisattva who is predestined to our beings.

Consistent with "energy shop location" - wisdom, consistent wisdom used to review. Avalokitesvara is the realm of consistent establishment - the sounds of the world are the realm of contemplation.

Regardless of the sound of the world, Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva also knows. He knows every sound of every being; why? Because he constantly observed those sounds. Throughout the day, he would examine this place again and again, looking for no sound.

The sound must listen, why is it saying "watching?" Sound that can "see," can "see"? We can not, but Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva can "see" the sound. He sees sounds as if they are recorded on a radar screen, and each being is denoted by a small blip on the radar screen. He can monitor your every sound. That is an explanation.

Can again explain that: Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva has the ability to hear with the eyes and see with the ears! Although we say He observes the sounds of the world, He can also hear with the eyes! He could use his eyes not only to look but also to hear with his eyes. Why is that? Because he has the supernormal power of the Six Paths. Those who practice the Dharma Sutras, attain the Dharma Realm of the Three Sages, or the Pure Land Continent, have the ability to use the Six Realms; let alone the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara!

So, the ear of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva can talk, can eat and drink; His eyes can hear and also think. That is the realm of the Six Foundations of Avalokitesvara that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva has long since witnessed; and so he can contemplate the sound of the world.

Perhaps some people wonder: "Why is Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva so multi-tasking, want to hug so many things? From morning to night to examine the sound? To do what?"

Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva does so because he cannot abandon the sentient beings of you, me, and so many others. He sees all beings like me. Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva is like a mother who always cares for her children, whether she cries, is hungry, is cold, and he is busy looking after sentient beings ta.

Someone asked, "So you're like a baby-sitter?"

Yes, almost like that. The thing is, He doesn't get paid! That is the most disadvantaged thing for Quan Yin Bodhisattva! Precisely because he cannot abandon sentient beings, He wants to examine the sounds of the world, to see if there are sentient beings suffering, He removes the suffering for that being, or which species of beings meet the accident then he removed the accident for that being

Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva "reach the bar to save suffering" Urea He listened to the cry of beings that came to save them from suffering. If you are suffering, then just recite the Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, you will all be "at risk of chance," and all will be as favorable as you wish. Most people do not know this magic, so when they encounter dangers and uncertainties, they do not know the concept of the name of Avalokiteshvara.

If you are in danger and you can remember the name of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, you will be at peace. If you are in a fire, the fire will not burn you. If you fall into deep water, the water does not engulf you. If you don't know how to swim, you will find yourself naturally in a shallow place. It is due to the inspiration of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. In times of emergency, as long as you can recite His name, you will surely be touched and saved. However, you need to really have faith; cannot be hesitated, half-heartedly.

Suppose you were caught in a fire and recited the name of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva while you were skeptical: "Is it true that Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva will come to save me? Not at all! sacred like that! " Because of a doubtful thought, He cannot come to your rescue. Why so? Because you do not believe, do not have faith in Him! You need to earnestly believe in your heart: "I recite the name of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, He will surely come to save me!" Or if you are about to be violently tigered by a tiger, you close your eyes closed and recite "Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva. Namo Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva ..."; suddenly the tiger won't be able to open its mouth again. It is thanks to the power of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva.

Bo-slaps are "sentient beings," who go enlightenment sentient beings, help them become enlightened. They are also "sentient beings," those enlightened sentient beings. Bodhisattva is also known as "the Dao of sentient beings, enlightenment, or superiority."

1. Boundless world without noise:  The world is immeasurable, we should not think that this world is what we see and hear, it is a limited thing in the world. That is not where! This world is immeasurably infinite, there is this world, another world, countless worlds; this realm, another realm, infinite realms, infinity, so called Boundless world with noise.

Now in Hong Kong, there were six very good doctors, all sure that he died within a hundred days. So he rushed to publish a newspaper to find a life saver, promising that if anyone could eradicate cancer, he volunteered to give two hundred thousand dollars in gratitude. Back then, two hundred thousand US dollars in Hong Kong was very valuable, but no one came up to save his life. Then he went to the temple to bow to Buddha.

The old magician was not convenient to talk and went back. Two years later, in January, I announced to everyone: "Truong Ngoc Giai has taken refuge in me for eight years, and I have been waiting for him to fulfill my promise, because he is willing to offer two hundred thousand dollars. I have not been able to wait for it to build a temple until now. I cannot wait anymore. Later, Truong Ngoc Giai happened to have any problems, I didn't know it either. "

After saying those words, less than half a year, his cancer came back. When he was about to die, he sent someone to beg me. Because he went to another temple to worship, did the Buddha things are not experimental, no touch, so he came to me again. But I didn't know it either, I said I said he didn't know anything about him anymore. Then a few days later he died. Strangely, the Dharma Master Dinh Tay, who had lured his predestined body before, also suffered from cancer, and died for more than a year. There was also a layperson following the old wizard who connected Truong Ngoc Giai to the magician Dinh Tay who also died of cancer. So it could be said that the three of them were one, the other lived together, and died of the same disease. Why did Truong Ngoc Giai die like that? Because he pushed his friend into the sea to drown. That person at that time did not know how to recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, certainly after making an injustice to the retribution causing Truong Ngoc Giai to suffer from cancer. Originally, Truong Ngoc Giai took refuge in the Triple Gem, if he had true faith, he would not have died. Because of uncertain belief, even if he did not die after taking a hundred days, he would die after eight years.

Hearing me say that, they said, "Bring the check here!"

At the time I was wearing a tattered robe, I said, "If you look at the shirt I am wearing now, do you know that I have a check?"

They looked over once, and asked, "So who has money here?"

I said, "I'm the Buddhist Teacher of this academy, all of them are students. I teach Buddhism without money, what students can do? If you don't believe me, come to my room." check it out. If you see anything worthwhile or something, just take it! "

But the bandits didn't pay any attention to me, followed him to ask for money. He said:

As I said, every married person should be enlightened soon, don't let three big things be confined. What are the three things? Parents liken the gong to their necks, the children to their handcuffs. Do not assume that there are children and grandchildren like, this type of cuffs once brought on, then take off. Having a wife is no different than being shackled and not free.

Then he was arrested and imprisoned, punished according to law. The fortuneteller is very good at divination, but does not count his own end as being punished by the law and decapitates them.

If they tolerate or use poisonous drugs and they end up unharmed, isn't that an incentive for them? They cannot harm people, but they still want to harm people. If they do not harm this person, they will want to harm others, but if another person does not know how to recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, they may die for them! If one knows, they of course cannot harm; but people who do not know the concept of Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara very much, should say "Both sides are unscathed" is not true, it must be "The one who caused the burden" is not mistaken. Must make the wicked themselves suffer a little suffering, they take the retribution is also worthy, so that they naturally do not dare to harm people anymore.

"Poor with alms, wealthy friends learn nan"

In general, there are four species:

As-tu-la as explained before, they are solidly struggling; the kind of beings that like to fight all belong to the astral monk. Where does hell come from? It is due to the karma of each of us individually. Whatever crime you create, there will be hell corresponding to that crime. Hell divided into many things.

The Sutta Pitaka says:

"The great prison has eighteen, then there are five hundred small dungeons, and there are thousands and hundreds of boundless hells."

Is hell like a prison on earth? Do people make a very solid house, waiting for someone to commit crimes, then put it in there reasonable? Not like that! Hell is caused by the crimes of every individual. If you create an evil karma of murder, there will be a murder hell; creating crimes of burning houses, there will be hell burning houses out. Because creating bad karma will have that hell manifest, so the hell type has no definite. When the karma is completed, the hell will disappear. Karma is not over yet, the hell still exists.

In Manchuria where my birthplace was located, in Du Tho district, there was a "Liu Qian gave birth to a pig hand," he could remember his previous three lives.

First, he was a filial son to his parents, and was later reincarnated as a rich son. His father was over forty years old to give birth to his son. By the time he was thirteen, his parents married him a wife one or two years older than him. Although his father was over fifty but still robust, he married another concubine, who almost ran into her daughter-in-law's age. Liu first had a wife of less than two years, gave birth to a son. Waiting for his thirteenth-year-old son to marry his children, his daughter-in-law is several years older than his son. Before long, his parents passed away, leaving only his father's concubine. He saw that his father's concubine was so beautiful and took him as his wife. Not long after that, his son died, he saw that his beautiful daughter-in-law also took the bride as a wife. So, the little mother is also the wife, the bride is also the plucking wife; that is called "snatching the mother above, winning the bride below." He was only twenty-eight or twenty-nine at the time.

When he was over forty years old, he started to wake up, thinking to himself: "Oh, my whole life has committed so many crimes! Getting a stepmother to be a wife, making a daughter-in-law to be a wife, it's not a small crime! "

Only then did he practice, believe in Buddha, recite sutras, and practice the Sutta Pitaka Sutta. Ten years, until he was fifty years old, he died. When his consciousness died, he came before King Yêm La. (King Yama is the king who manages all the demons in hell, very fierce, his face is black and has no respect for anyone). King Yama La asked:

- Why do you all do evil all your life? Now you must release you into boiling oil prison, using the cauldron of oil to fry you!

So, King Yama let him reincarnate as a human being. He reincarnated into a very poor family, parents specializing in selling breakfast. Babies born especially from childhood love to eat and drink so much that their tummy gets bigger and bigger. By about five years of age, because the abdomen was too big to die. After the baby died, his parents talked to each other: "Why is this baby's stomach so big? There must be something in it. Let's have a look at it!" They opened the baby's belly and saw that there was a hard object like a diamond. The next-door demon said, "Well, now it's okay to make it cook oil!" He then took him to see King Yama, who said:

- Now, start reincarnating as a pig first!

He reincarnated as a pig, was fattened and then taken for meat. After that, he returned to hell to wait for cooking oil. He said to King Yama:

- You do not need to cook me anymore, let me go back to the human world reincarnated! And may He save me a pig's hand as evidence so that I should advise people not to create evil karma.

That was the monk who remembered himself from a background, this one I also met. Because this can be seen, being born as a human is not easy, our human body is very difficult.

So there is a saying:

"The human body is difficult, the Buddha Dharma is hard to hear."

You try to see, in the United States of the thousands of thousands of people have heard the Buddha Dharma? "Friendly knowledge is hard to meet." You want to meet a true good-knowledge disciple who understands Dharma well. There are those who claim to be teachers but even they do not know morality themselves, if they teach you morality, then they are just gossip.

Peta, is also due to their karma, so they have karmic retribution. About the hungry ghosts I have explained many times - their bellies are as big as a drum, the neck is small like a needle. Our food, when it reaches the mouth of the hungry ghosts, will turn into fire immediately. Why turned into fire? Because their karma is too heavy, everything that comes to the mouth will turn into fire.

When it comes to the karma problem, sentient beings in heaven realms that the water is crystal; man sees water as water; the fish see water as home, taking it as their palace; The devil sees that water is fire. Each species has different realms. It is due to karma, so the view is not the same.

Just now I mentioned the monk reincarnated as a pig. There are also reincarnated people who make chickens, cows, horses, etc.Home people who are not filial to their parents and not respect their elders will have a solid relationship with animals. As for those who like to eat meat, that is having a relationship with "animal birth," the future is also very dangerous. "The species in the evil road" is including all four above evil.

In addition to the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, death, people also have three other things of suffering:

-Donable suffering,

-poor.

Suffering is suffering in misery, just like the poor, miserable people who have no money, no food, no housing, can't find work, are more miserable. The suffering in that suffering people can not stand. So the rich are not miserable? People with money even more miserable! Someone said: "You said that morality, I don't believe it." You don't believe me to say the same, believe me to say the same. Why? You see a lot of money, from morning till night thinking: "Should we take this deposit to the bank? Take this money to trade. Bring this money to work ..." In short, when money is available Counting no more is annoying like that! Counting back and forth, counting to gray hair, long teeth, blurred eyes, deaf ears, not yet! Counting it all, how do you say it? There will be a problem. Because there is so much money, every day counting money, Counting back and forth, the risk that the bandits know, at night they break the door to break in, how much wealth to spend so long to be robbed of the birth and death. That is called suffering. This kind of misery, compared to poverty, is even worse. Because poor people are used to misery, they don't feel much suffering. But wealth that suddenly dissipated, the suffering is too excessive. Especially for the elderly, no money, all are not as expected. That is also called suffering. no money, all are not as expected. That is also called suffering. no money, all are not as expected. That is also called suffering.

So, neither rich nor poor, surely there is no suffering? Still miserable. What else is there? Such is the misery: People from small and large, big and old, old and dead, recite the mindfulness change without stopping. Even if there is no poverty and misery, without the destruction of wealth, there is also misery. These three types of suffering cannot be avoided by anyone.

There are also eight sufferings. Three miseries have not less then also piled up eight more suffering! The truth is that "suffering" is not only eight, there are actually thousands, thousands, thousands and thousands of thousands of suffering, counting to no end.

The most miserable is to be human; Making animals more happy than making people. So don't do anything not miserable? Only being a Buddha is not miserable!

Why do animals are happier than humans? Animals don't have to worry about what to eat, nor about what to wear, how to live. They have natural living conditions, no worries, you see? Only mankind suffers everything, not only eighty-four thousand but even thousands and thousands of thousands of miseries. Now they only talk about the eight miseries: birth, aging, sickness, death, detached love, hatred to meet, pray for not being able, the year is warm and cozy. Of these eight miseries, which one do you see the most? That is being miserable! If there is no birth then there is no such suffering.

Question: How is suffering?

- Well, I know you've forgotten that misery. Now I would like to tell you clearly: This birth is due to the parents' blood, from the intermediate state body to reincarnation. While still in the womb, the first 4 weeks have no feelings, until the 7th week will be knowledgeable. At that time, if your mother ate something cold, you would be like in the middle of an iceberg. if mom eats something hot, you look like a cauldron of fire, it's unbearably hot. Those are urgent problems because of the cold and cold in the mother. At another time, the mother would bend her back and feel like she was pinned down by Thai Son, and her mother straightened up and felt very comfortable. Until birth is even more miserable. At that moment, you are miserable as being forced between two mountains is like suffering from being forced by hell in hell, so every time you are born, you cry out and cry: "Suffering! Suffering a suffering! A suffering!"

At birth, it is painful like a tortoise living without a shell, but when you grow up forget all that misery. Then old age turned up, the suffering of the old is no less bad. When old age, deaf ears dense, people scolded or not; The eyes were blurred, and everything was unclear. That's the ears and the eyes are starting to "strike" already. The tongue is still there but the teeth have fallen out. I have met eight and ninety years old before and asked:

- Have you seen anyone drop their tongue yet? Why did all his teeth fall out?

He said, "No! Have you seen it?"

- I don't see it. Specifically that old age but no one has seen the tongue drop so young as I am here how to see that strange thing!

I asked him again, "Do you know why the tongue does not fall? Why in the world there is no tongue but only the tooth falls out?"

- "Why is that?" He asked.

- Because teeth are too hard, they must be broken. The reason the tongue doesn't fall is due to the soft tongue. Old age also not so hard too. If it is too tough, it will be like teeth can fall out, so learn a little soft.

Then what suffering tooth loss? Of course, loss of appetite, chewing food has no taste. That food in others mouth chewing vegetables craving cravings, while in my mouth chewing is unbearable, biting the bite does not break, tinged on the stomach becomes indigestion. Do you think it is hard?

And on the face, the skin is all wrinkled, it is "the gray hair of the skin," the skin on the face is like a chicken's skin, the roughness of the skin is unsightly. The hair is white. "Silver hair" for Americans does not mean old age. Because of Westerners, babies born with white hair are already white. It is not the gray hair of old age but the white hair of youth. However, that was only a special case. White hair of the elderly is from black discolored hair. Black hair can be changed to white, and white hair cannot be changed to black, but sometimes it can be changed.

Back in Hong Kong, my hair was all gray. Why? Because I built the temple, repaired three temples. Oh, repaired so much mental loss, making the hair changed to silver at all. I later reviewed myself: "Ah! That's enough! No need to waste your energy anymore!" Since then everything has dropped. Then slowly hair back to black. So anything is not fixed. Now look at my head, just a little gray hair, not so much!

Suffering about the old is not easy to bear. If you don't believe it, try it. Wait until you get old to know the taste of it. You are not afraid to live to seven, eighty years old, or eight, ninety years old, even to a hundred years old; then, whatever you eat, you don't know the smell. Only then did you know: "Well, back when a teacher said that old people were very miserable, I didn't believe it, now I know, right and wrong."

At that time you want to practice spiritually, then it's too late to keep up.

The most equality is suffering. Anyone has a sickness, no disease is much less sick. Headache is uncomfortable, leg pain is uneasy, pain is uncomfortable. The disease has too many things, such as stomachache, uncomfortable eating, if there is lung disease, the cough will not stop. In summary, the five organs: heart, liver, spleen, lungs, kidneys, every disease is all suffering.

The most miserable is the "dead." Someone said: "Suffering? I don't know what it tastes like? I want to know in advance." So you just try to die first to see it, but no one dares to make sure you are alive again, so that once did not try. It's easy to die, but when to die? That is a big problem. After dying and going to hell? Or animals? Or do people? No one dares to guarantee that!

Birth, aging, sickness, and death are all miserable. Why Shakyamuni Buddha wanted to become a monk? Also because He knows that being, old, sick, and death are suffering not easily endured. When he was nineteen years old, one day traveling to the East gate, seeing a woman in labor, asked the servant: "What is that?"

- That is the birth of a baby! The retinue replied.

Seeing the baby sobbing and screaming that the woman was in too much pain, the Prince was unhappy and went back to the palace.

And human? Anyone can be born, but no one can avoid death. Every future person has to die, some good people die, some die badly, everyone has a way of dying, nobody is like anyone. Some died of illness, some died of starvation, others died of overwork, some were killed by a car, others were crushed to death by a rockman, or by a fighter who was beaten to death by the person, or went to war operations to die at the front, or poisoned and died, or killed themselves and died. Some people don't want to die and die, sometimes they want to die and not die. So, copper is a "dead" sound but the way to die is not the same. Although the way of death is not the same as karmic retribution in the future after death? Also not the same! For example, if someone died suddenly, like being hit by a car, being swept up by the water, burned by fire - that is, any sudden death - the spirit of the Pluto did not know it, Demons don't know, so are they free? It is free but it is the freedom of the devil and not the freedom of the person. Is the person who is free sometimes unconventional as a devil? Free demons may also not be organized; sudden death (sudden death) makes another person take his place.

In addition to the four above suffering, there is suffering because of "separation love." This "love" everyone knows. Some people love beauty, some people love reputation. Money lover is also benefit. For example, there are people who are very rich, planning to sell big businesses to make a profit, but the business fails to cut off both capital and money. He separated with good, he did not want to leave money, but money was no longer available, is also a kind of affection to be separated. "Sac" is a problem for boys and girls, the girl loves the beauty of the girl, the girl loves the beauty of the boy, the two love each other but because the previous life cultivated cause and effect is not good, so this love cannot last for long. In that state, halfway broke. During that time, if you don't have true love, it's okay to break up; If there is a kind of true love that is attached to it will suffer greatly.

There is also the separation of love of love reputation. Why is this reputation so separate? Someone said like this: "List is the second life of man." They claim that reputation is their second life, if that second life is broken one day, the reputation will be lost. In the past, I did not want to lose my name, but because of temporary wrongdoing, my honor was destroyed. It is also a kind of separation for the sake of suffering.

This kind of separation is very much. For example, though the husband and wife have no separation, the child who produces a beautiful appearance is intelligent, so they love pampering as a treasure. Suddenly the treasure died, then cried and struggled extremely painful. This is also a kind of separation. Or there are people who are very filial to their parents, very respectful and loving, never want to leave their parents, but then they die again. That is also the separation of suffering.

Or some people have extremely favorable circumstances, parents and children are all good, but myself must die. Even among brothers and sisters, there is also such an unfortunate event, which has long been unwilling to leave but then have to separate; That is also the separation of suffering.

Knowing that separation is suffering, one should not be attached to that kind of love anymore, should not be aimed at someone else, but should be aimed at all sentient beings, practicing the Bodhisattva path to salvation. all sentient beings, should not give to themselves but think of everyone, there will be no separation of suffering anymore.

There is something else in this separation: There are people who are attached to love, without suffering, find suffering for themselves. Like a couple, all the time worrying. What worries? Fear their wives they have another boyfriend. Isn't there no suffering to look for suffering? There are also many girls after having a husband, maybe the husband is so handsome, so he doesn't worry about it all the time, he just worries about his husband having a new beauty, even worrying about the rice. . Do you think that is too stupid? There are also people who do not love anyone, and love dogs as their own lives; some people love cats, treat cats as their life; until all animals or material things arise with love. How is this love when it arises? It is also very funny. A dog lover when that dog dies, a cat lover until that cat dies, then at that time it would be like my life also died. They cried the cat dog bout. It is also a kind of separation.

In short, whatever you see, you cannot see through it, you cannot give up, until there is something special that must be separated to make you feel extremely miserable, that is called "Good-bye." miserable. "

Someone said: "Just love is so miserable? Well, then I do not love anymore, I will hate them all!"

"Hate" means not love. There is a mind of hatred, hatred, and hatred; For anything there is no love at all. That is even more wrong. So, saying love is suffering, but not love, why? Also miserable as usual! That's called "Resentment meeting suffering." In this case, you feel disgusted, disgusted with others, having no affinity with anyone, feeling that everyone is not good to you, so you don't like anyone. You don't love people, you don't love dogs or cats. Everything is not suitable for eyes. Then move house to another place, unexpectedly after moving away, meet people, things are more obnoxious, worse than before! Things you don't want to see, the more you hate it, the more you see it. A strange, very strange! If you are afraid of a cat, cats will come running all the way to you and chase him but he will not leave. Still hate dogs! The more you hate it, the more it tugs you. Do you hate women? Women knock on the door all day looking for you. You don't like having to move house, but you have to meet the same situation everywhere, compared to the previous time worse! In general, there is no safe and happy day. Do you say misery?

Where does this suffering come from?

It is really because of your innate emotions, because of your lack of concentration. You stay here and find yourself with neighbors who don't get along, but moving to another place doesn't get along. This is not that people are not good to you but you are not good to them. Because he feels that he has no affinity with people, he also feels unarmed. Then to feel good is also misery and to feel bad is also suffering. So they must do? Must be compatible with the Middle Way. In short, anything should not be outrageous, because outrageous as well as inadequate. Resentment of this misery is very strange! What you don't want the more you confront it. The man who did not want to drink, the demon was drunk all day close to him. People who did not want to smoke, the demon smoking bags ran to home. People don't like to gamble, gambling devil day after day. Why? Because you have resentment (jealousy), so they all came to make it miserable. There is resentment of suffering and separation of suffering, because it is not clear of the true Middle Way, because leaning towards one side, falling on one side should be miserable. If we can keep the Middle Way, there will never be suffering.

I believe that no one is disgusted with "money", but the more "money" you hate, the more you love it. The strange thing that is loved without coming is "Pray for misery."

Love is miserable, hate is miserable. If there is love, there is hope, but usually it is not. There are people all their lives who want to be talented, so they work hard and take all the bitter things. From the time he wanted to donate money, but until he died, the talent was not distributed, making a poor ghost. That is the most unfortunate bridge! Some people feel that being an official is very interesting, so they find all ways to be a mandarin, but finding it until the end of their life will not be able to do it.

There are people who pray for life and pray for life, but their life doesn't. There are people without children who want to give birth to a smart boy, a cute girl, but praying forever is still unsatisfactory, that is also the unfortunate request. Many people all their life, if they don't pray for this and pray for that, they cannot pray for any. There are people who go to school want to be a doctor, but because their previous life did not cultivate a good base of study, they studied until they were blind, deaf and deaf, read dozens of books that the Doctor could not reach. In ancient China there was a man named Liang Hao, who went to school until he was 82 years old to pass the Poinsettia, but he passed away soon. Even though I prayed, I still couldn't enjoy it. It is also suffering. The Eastern Bridge is not Eastern, the Western Bridge is not Western; In short, you wish and not be satisfied. That is misery!

There is also "Five warm and miserable." What is cobs? Ie identity, feeling, thought, action, consciousness.

The Heart Sutra says, "Color is not different, it is not different; color means no, not color."

If you see them as no then there will be no suffering. These five warm colors, warm feelings, warm thoughts, warm onions and warm consciousness, when awakened abnormally strong, are very miserable, but people cannot leave them. The previous seven types of suffering belong to suffering (filthy suffering), and the perception of this behavior, which is inherent within the nature, is always attached to you, wanting to leave and not leaving. That is called Ngu warm and miserable.

"If I can bring this body to save all sentient beings in the world, then I would like to give this body alms, dedicate to the world, even if my heart would ask alms to people, my life would also please daddy If anyone needs my head, I'll give it to them. "

Therefore, it is the duty of everyone to spread Buddhism. Do not give up, just stand up, take the propagation of Dharma as your duty, which is the basic condition of the dharma.

Or maybe someone fell into the sea and was about to drown. You see that, not to mention his life, immediately energetically determined to jump into the water to pull him ashore. Not only fire water, until in the war of soldiers, guns, people were shot or injured in the battlefield, life as a thousand pounds hanging hair. In the meantime, you ardently think nothing of your body, take no care of your own life, jumping into such danger to save people. That's all called Fearlessness.

Again, if someone encounters dangerous dangers such as imprisonment, bandits ..., his life is about to be at risk, or has lost consciousness, you can use skillful means to save them. Escape from danger, it is also fearless. In short, just when people are in a situation of fear of misery, you use compassion, courage, promote the spirit of fearlessness, the spirit of not being afraid of anything to save all sentient beings. .

You can also practice fearless practice indirectly. Like Tri Dia Bodhisattva, though he is not directly from the fearless captain, but indirectly. How does he practice? He knew that it was necessary to cross the river without bridges, if it was not needed, it would be dangerous to cross the river. Then he used his strength, imitating the ancients, using a few planks or a north wooden tree to make a bridge, so that people crossing the river would not be in danger.

Although there is no danger in the bridge, but if flooded, then there is always danger to life. Like the old Venerable Hu Yun, who went down to Jiuhua Mountain to go to Cao Man Temple to attend the retreat, he remembered there was a wooden bridge in Dinh Cang, and he followed the old path to go there to plan to cross the river. has just been swept away by floodwaters. As a result, he fell into the river and stayed in the river for one day and night after 24 hours before being picked up by the fishermen. At that time, the fisherman thought:

A recent example, like someone who has had nothing to eat for a few days, is going to starve to death, very scared inside! Think that:

- "Probably starved to death! No money to buy food, to steal? To be imprisoned!"

When they were in that dilemma, you met them, saw them thin yellow face, limp legs, could not walk. At that time, you ask them:

- "What's wrong with you? Is it sick?"

They will definitely answer: "Four, five days I don't have any rice in my stomach."

You say, "Okay, come to my house to eat!"

Do not be like Tianjin people, when you wake up early in the morning, everyone will ask: "Have you eaten?"

People say: "Not yet!"

Then asked, "Not yet? Then go home to eat!"

Their sentence "to go home" is not clear, they don't know if they go home? Or go home? In short, anywhere. I can eat even if you come to my house. So people who have not eaten are not sure that they are invited, but said:

- "Yes, I will go home to eat."

If you don't have any clothes to wear, suffer coldly, you give them some clothes; If you don't have a place to live, you give them a place to live, that is also called Captain. But one day, two days can be, can not stay forever. China has a saying:

"It is possible to reduce hunger once, not to give a hundred full meals."

For a meal, it is possible, do not ask every day to feed the rice, no one should shoulder. Because in this world everyone must work, can not be dependent on heart. If you have this thought:

"I hope there are Bodhisattvas who practice so that I don't have to work, I only need to go to the house of a Buddhist to tell my misery: I don't have any food now, please give me a little ' lieutenant 'makes me no longer afraid of hunger, no more suffering from hunger! "

That's not proper People accidentally fall into a situation of reluctance to ask for help from others, but you still have the energy, you must try to be resilient, in pursuit of happiness for the world, not to be consumed. material in this world. Everyone should help this world, not rely on it. How to help this world? It is to do good for everyone, not to ask everyone to do well for yourself. That is, I want to benefit others but do not want others to benefit me personally. You have the idea of ​​hoping others to benefit yourself, which is the mind that relies on the mind without self-improvement.

Everyone should try to work, try to be resilient, and not rely on others. This is my message.

"Pure bar" is the bar of pure bar, which is also in all aspects of giving, not in front of generals. That is the pure bar without defilement Dharma. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara generosity without accepting generals, all generals leave, so pure. If still before the general is not pure.

Great wisdom: The big is the big and the big is nothing. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara has the power to contemplate vast wisdom, degrees all over, educating beings.

Compassion and compassion: He still has compassion. Someone misunderstood the meaning of scriptures, and said, "Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva also often cries, not happy, because he is Quan Bi."

This statement is too misleading! The compassion here is not compassionate, but compassion. Bo-slaps for all beings have true mercy. What is compassion? He often thought like this:

- "These people are so pitiful! I use all means to educate them, but they are still not enlightened, still in confusion, so they are still crazy."

He mercy beings like that, called Bi. Because He has mercy on sentient beings, he always wants to save them. It's like you see a very cute and clever kid who loves it. Why is it popular? Because the baby deserves love. That kind of love is called compassion. Not that Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is unhappy, even crying all day long and sad. If you want to learn the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, you should not weep all day crying, sorrowful brain, but must "Always be happy and not worried" to be happy. His compassion is not something so pessimistic, so it should not be confused.

From or happy, Bi or save suffering. "Compassion" is the end of suffering for beings. "From the bar" is for beings to enjoy. This fun-giving thing is not a temporary happy thing but an eternal joy; it is true joy, not the joy of the world. What was that fun thing like? That is to give all the dharma, making beings truly understand the Buddha Dharma but no longer do crazy and miserable things. That's called fun. What is crazy? Like a person who likes to drink, drinks till he's drunk, feels like he's turned into a fairy. Showing your "god", walking unsteadily, swaying and leaning back, for that is very good! The brain is flooded, not even knowing anything. Do you feel like that is crazy? A fairly intelligent person, if being dominated by alcohol, anything can be done - murder,

One day at a bus stop, an alcoholic came to ask me for money to buy alcohol and drink. I remembered something that happened at a bus stop. Now, there was a black man passing by, and he and I didn't know each other. Not knowing how he ran to pay homage to me, without saying a word, after the ceremony he stood up and walked away. This person did not have to bow to me to ask for money, but just knelt before me in front of many people, finished and left. Do not know if he is a demon or a god? It's strange! I considered him not to be drunk, not sure if it was due to a premonition that he came to pay homage to me? Most of the demons who saw me bowed. And he, a black man, bowed down to me respectfully, bowed down, and did not dare to look at me. I think a devil might have entered him.

Drinking alcohol is like that, smoking is even more crazy. Why? Your stomach has always been clean, but you make it dirty. Someone said:

Pure morning no memory: What is called "no-minded?" Remember is dirty dust, also impure things. You don't have that impure dust, then naturally radiate light. This pure light is for the dust. Without dirt, there is pure light; conversely, if there is dirt, there is no pure light. What is no dirt? That is no delusion. You have no delusion, that is, there is no dust. If you initiate a delusion, there is a layer of filthiness, arising of two regiments of delusion, there are two layers of filth, and a delusion of three classes of filth. The more you expect it, the thicker the dirt is.

People who meditate often say "Mindfulness of awareness," that it is clear that there is no dust and that awareness is seeing pure light. It must be no dust to see the pure light. If there is dust, you cannot see the pure light. So "enlightening the mind of nature" is the mind of your own mind, the nature of your nature (you are your own mind, the mind is your own nature). The nature of the mind as in Sutta Pitaka says:

"The true mind is often abiding, the unreal nature."

When I came here, I remembered something. When I was in Hong Kong, a lay woman came to see me. After meeting me, do you know how she is? She sat and sat down to find me giving a lecture. But what does the lay person say? She said, "This Dharma Lord is probably a ghost! Why do I always see him?" She often saw magicians who spoke dharma, thought to be ghosts; then if you see ghosts, you think Buddha is! The layman often saw me saying that he saw ghosts, even cursing, and asking to beat me again. Less than a few months later, she died of cancer. Actually, I wanted to save her, but she kept calling me a ghost, so I gave up. Today I am going to remember this story so I tell you. If you think about it, she met the Wizard and thought it was a ghost; If she met a ghost, what would she say? So, In real life, there are many people who pretend to be real. And the truth is fake. When you say fake, it's true. Often such misleading!

The wisdom of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is like the sun, shattering all darkness. Screening the darkness? Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara cultivates "Vacuum space," shatters the darkness of Kien or, Tu or, witnessing the Bat-elegant virtue. Ants or what? Is the scene of craving. From or what? Is the start of delusion psychology. Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara cultivates "Purification of mind," destroys the darkness of Tran sa or, attains enlightenment. Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara cultivates "Wisdom," which destroys darkness or ignorance, demonstrating the dharmakaya. That is called containing enough three virtues (Tam Duc Secret Organ) - Bat elegant virtue, Liberation and virtue France France. Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is cultivated by three restaurants (Vacuum, Quan, Pure Mind) that proves the three virtues, eliminating the darkness of Kien Tu, Tran sa and Ignorance, so saying, "Heavenly clouds destroy the darkness. toothpick." Hue is the shop, and the shop is Hue.

After the disaster, the world, not knowing where it is, only a few survived; but later the population increased and the world encountered chronic victims. Humans are too crowded, the more complex, the more people create karma. Then, the second disaster was a fire that occurred. This fire was burned to the heavens of the Second Jhana; The celestial celestial being in Second Jhana also could not stand this fire.

Why did this disaster occur? Because the celestial people in Second Jhana have fire of afflictions, fire in their own nature leads to the fire of the outside world. At that moment, seven suns appeared in the air. A sun that one could not bear; yet at that time seven suns appeared at the same time, making the whole of the hinterland painted into charcoal, there was no cool place, so all men were burned to death. The sea dried up, turning into a continent; the continent turns into a high mountain; High mountains turn into the sea. There are miraculous events like that between heaven and earth! That is the "fire burning second meditation."

The fifth general is not liking his seat. People are very free, meditate all day long and nothing strange happens. When the generals realized, they did not sit still. Whenever he sat down, he stood up again, stood up and sat down again, standing and sitting like that forever, a thought lost his perception, the general life.

- "I am often happy, without disturbing emotions." If you have true joy, then of course there is no disturbing emotions. If true joy is not achieved, and reluctant to use the mind of artifact to make that joy, then it is not true joy, because there is still inner negativity, one day it will outbreaks, like using a large rock on the grass, the grass may not grow, but when the stone is removed, the grass grows even better!

Of the four activities, the first vow is:

- "The unsurpassed Buddhist faith vows."

There is nothing more noble than Buddhism, so every individual should vow to decide to become a Buddha, not to see himself as too low, but to see himself as a Buddha. But the future is Buddha and not currently Buddha. In fact, we were originally full of Buddha Nature, and the Buddha is not different. But at present because we do not know how to practice, we do not have the leader of the Three Bodies, the Four Paths, the Five Eyes, and the Six Paths as Buddha. So must broadcast four activities. Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara was originally following the four aspirations of the vow to educate sentient beings, so he poured rain of nectar, making all beings cool and free of defilements. This is called "the fire of defilement is dispelled."

Why fight? Because it was the Dharma-ending period, people only knew how to fight. But in the Dharma-ending period, there was also the Dharma period, while the Dharma period also had the Dharma period. Why say that? Because even during the Dharma-ending period, it cannot be said that no one takes sitting meditation. As we are now, although we are busy in the hundreds of thousands, we can still arrange time, early in the morning, in the evening, or at noon to use the practice, meditate and meditate; that is the manifestation of the Dharma period. It is just that in the Dharma-ending period, Dharma is only a small part, less is less. So, we at the time of Dharma Dharma can still teach sermons, there are also people who arrange time in busy times, hundreds of busy things, and even forget to sleep and eat to listen to the sutras, which is also called Dharma in the Dharma-ending period. Currently everyone is promoting the building of temples and the ashram, which is also the work of the Dharma period. So in the Dharma-ending period, there was also a period of Buddha-dharma period, and also the Dharma-period. During the Dharma period, there was also the Dharma-ending period, and there was also the Dharma-period. Because in the Statue of France where there is no place to build a temple, some people do not believe in Buddha Dharma, so it is no different from Dharma. So, during the Dharma period, why should the temple be built? Taking the pagoda can cause people to gather together to practice spiritually, so it is also the period of Dharma. Then in the Dharma period there was a period of the Dharma and the Dharma. People in the era of Dharma practice meditation, of course the Dharma period. But sometimes the temple was built like the statue of Buddha. At the time of Dharma, not everyone learned Buddhism. Some people study a little Buddha Dharma and refuse to study anymore, and they do not pay attention to the research, this is the Dharma Dharma in the Dharma time. Therefore, in each period, there were enough of the Dharma, the Dharma and the Dharma.

"Chanting" is a lawsuit, litigation. Litigation means taking each other to court to argue for the right. Arguing, it is necessary to invite a lawyer. There are a number of lawyers who can make rational things unreasonable, unreasonable speech into rationality. It is called a crazy market.

A few months ago, the press reported that a woman had murdered her husband, but she had too much money to promise the lawyer that if she was acquitted, she would pay a sum of money. very happy. The lawyer knew that she was the one who killed her husband, but before the court used all her pleading and bending the truth to make her exempt. Oh! Do you say that is fair or not? Only money alone, even murder is not guilty! That is the dispute. If you have not sinned, you will not have to pay for it. So isn't the truth no longer in the world? Until now, the court was trying to find the right reason, but there was a lawyer who defended it, then there was morality also turned into no morality, no morality also turned into morality. Do you consider this world to be a dark world?

"Go to the office": To go to the main place is to go to court, to the court to find the right, see the reason of who is full, who is not guilty. But when you get there, your reason is the most complete, and you don't have money to be guilty. And your reason is incomplete, you don't have morality, and you have money and you're innocent. So this world is dominated by money, burying people's conscience.

In the fearful army: Fear and terror before the military, as is the situation in Vietnam (1968). At that place, although full of fear, but thanks to the power of Quan Yin concept, if you recite "Namo Quan Yin Bodhisattva," then the resentment will vanish, all resentment will be no more. The competition in the door and in the military, because the life after life is plagued with resentment so much, should gather together to repay the retribution for each other; but if you recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, such retribution can be reduced, the weight becomes light, and light becomes none. If you do not recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara then those problems will become serious, if you recite the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara then it will be mitigated. So the realm of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara is inconceivable, not ordinary people can know.

Then he saw that there was a gap about two meters across the grid that could fit a person through. Seeing the baby go through that hole, his whole family: the mother, wife, children followed the hole to escape. When they saw them, the Western soldiers defended there, feeling very strange, not sure why they were coming out! Until they find the baby, they won't see it anymore. Review the grid remains intact, there is no gap of two square meters at all. They feel very strange! From there they traveled all the way to Suzhou, fleeing from a war accident. This proves that the realm of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is so deep and hard to think, people cannot understand it. In every situation, the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara always protects the person who recites His name. So each of us should have firm faith, earnestly recite the title of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara.

I replied, "Both people and animals are present, because the American people are from people of immigrant nations, so it is a collection of people of the same animals."

Seriously, it's not a joke. If we can declare the Five Eyes (Buddha Eye, Dharma Eye, Hue Eye, Heavenly Eye and Humiliation), we know that people in this world are not really human, but every species has them. How to look out? If you have a Buddha eye, open your eyes to wisdom, and want to know what that person in the previous life is or what the previous life has done, look at his shadow; because the shadow of the previous life is still following to this life. If they were humans in the past, their shadow would be human in this life. If they were animals, then their shadow would be cattle. If they were demons, their shadow would be monsters. Only the person who can open the Five Eyes can see it clearly. If the Five Eyes cannot be opened, it cannot be distinguished. So you meet someone, don't rush to consider it human. How to know this problem? If you have the Heavenly Eye, it is easy to know. As long as you try to practice diligently, you want to know what is okay.

Currently in that other country (not me cursing at people), the majority of people are rats. But in it a lot of rats, there are also many people, lots of demons and animals. In short, every country has horses, goats, chickens, pigs, dogs and all kinds. People also from these beings turn out. This doctrine is so wonderful. Ordinary people do not endorse this, so they do not believe. If you want to prove this, you really need to practice spiritual cultivation. Only then did he say:

He answered, "I make a flat road so that people can easily move around."

Buddhism. Such is the wonderful realm beyond inconceivable.

Lao Tzu Dao De Kinh said: "The superior is like water, water is good for all things without competition, in which everyone criticizes." Good people are like water, skillful to benefit all things without competition. Wrestling is about flying animals and plants. All four species (fetus, ovum, low, chemical) need water to nourish, bathe, but water itself never thought:

What is no painting? Not to fight, not to mention merit, brag to everyone: "Those things were done by me, this merit was only achieved by me, this temple was repaired by me, the other bridge is mine." There is no such mind, that is no picture. Water is neither self-sufficient nor self-profit, so Lao Tzu said, "The good people should learn by nature, the country cleverly benefits everything without fighting," not counting merit, not competing, not competing. "Everybody criticizes," the water is low, not high above. Someone said, "Why isn't the water above?
