BOOK 7
Chapter 11: POWER, Part 2
There are four ranges:
What is range? That is, one who abandons sex and all evil and unwholesome dharmas, the mind is always searching everywhere, looking for nearness. The mind has always been clear and understands everything, is very clear, understands everything, and is now understanding everything very clearly. Always looking for, thinking, planning guidance, discriminating thinking… collectively known as range.
What is quartet? That is to say, one who abandons sex and evil, evil, and unskillful dharmas, the mind is always lurking, watching everywhere, depending on work, depending on changes, depending on caste, depending on dependence..., collectively known as the four .
What is the difference between range and quartet? Having the property of making the mind gross and superficial is called application, and the fourth is making the mind subtle and petty. How was that? Like when a bell is rung, a loud chime will sound and then a small chime will be heard. A loud cry for range, a small echo for a four. Things like ringing bells and knocking bowls, blowing snails (horns and) beating drums, launching arrows, heaven roaring..., there are two voices, big and small, as well. Like a flock of birds flying in the air, flapping their wings can only fly as they please. Flapping wings is an example for reach, and reaching out is an example for four. Those are two different generals of the range and the four.
What is a range of four? That is, the person who leaves sex and the evils of the unwholesome is compatible with the level of the full range of four.
What is Sacrifice Joy? Separation is separation, abandonment of desires is also called separation, separation from evil and unwholesome dharmas is also called separation, renunciation is also called detachment, good roots in the Form realm are also called separation, and initiating concentration is also called separation. Now, the meaning in this means about the preliminary concentration called leaving.
Why is happy (Hy)? That is, leaving sex and evil dharmas that are not good, the mind is always happy, very happy in the present, very happy in the immediate future, having the character of joy, rejoicing, rejoicing, cheerfulness, having the nature of working. (Doing things well), having the joyful nature of wanting to dance, the nature of joy, joy, joy... collectively known as joy (Hy).
Why is it fun (lost)? That is to say, one who has abandoned desire and evil and unwholesome dharmas has put an end to the heaviness of the body or of the mind, the quality of body or mind that cannot work, refuses to do, but has the quality of life. of the body or mind is always agile, nimble, or soft and tender, the nature of the body or mind is light and comfortable, the nature of the body or mind is not irritable, not burning with sorrow, but having the quality of body or mind always air-conditioned, gentle, comfortable, enjoyable…, collectively, it's fun.
What is separation of happiness? That is, the joys mentioned before leave the cause, leave the reliance on joy, establish detachment, and through the power of detachment give birth to all the things that go into it and appear. . So it is said that abandoning sex brings joy.
Sister, that is, this meditation is in order, first. Also, if this order of serenity is in the order of the nine types of concentration, it comes first.
Contemplation, that is, in this concentration there is a sense of joy, having the quality of the mind focused on a single object. Including all these five factors, it is called the first stage of meditation (first meditation). As the chant says:
The mind pursues lust,
Or pursues anger,
But according to the cultivation of serenity, the
Buddhas do not praise.
Laziness conceals the mind,
Not knowing how to cultivate serenity,
Even if the body is calm, the
Buddhas will not praise it.
Move, repent, cover the mind,
The senses are not quiet,
Although diligently cultivating and remaining calm, the
Buddhas do not praise.
In the Three Jewels of the Four Truths, the
Mind is always doubtful, Although
diligently cultivating and
remaining calm, the Buddhas do not praise.
Away from sex and evil,
Searching for four is right,
Body is light and quiet,
Received separation and happiness.
The body is like a bath, washed and washed,
All over the body is smooth,
Neither strong nor weak, The
water of love does not sink.
About four and a half years.
Hien Thanh Tien testified.
Collectively called stillness.
All Buddhas praise.
In this concentration, called the preliminary meditation, all the mind-consciousnesses have a contemplative mind that investigates everything, is currently and will forever be looking for the thinking that creates the mind's kamma. Called preliminary meditation, there is karma of the mind. All the minds understand clearly, have and will understand, called the preliminary meditation, all have clear understanding (winner).
In this concentration, either feeling, or perception, or desire, or attention, or mindfulness, or concentration, or wisdom, etc., etc., with such names, the preliminary meditation has all those dharmas. So those dharmas are also called preliminary meditation.
Based on what meaning is the name "small meditation" based?
That is, having the ability to silence all dharmas that are evil, not good, and other impurities that later (in the next life) must be burned due to the fruit of suffering, such as the dharmas of birth, aging, and death, etc., so called stillness.
Also, when all the evil dharmas are not good, and the other impurities that are later burned by the fruit of suffering, such as birth, old age and death, etc., the dharmas that are contaminated have already been tranquilized. This kind of serenity gives rise to all sorts of things, goes deep into it, and emerges, so it's called stillness.
In addition, when all kinds of evil dharmas are not good, and other impurities that will later be burned by the fruit of suffering, such as birth, old age and death, etc., the dharmas that have been corrupted are already quiet and still. This meditation will shine brightly, so it is called stillness.
Sufficient, that is, if you enter the good dharmas created by renunciation and separation, but diligently and diligently practicing without interruption, you will be complete and perfect, so it is called complete.
Standing is the achievement of this kind of calm, then practice in the present, practice forever, all the time, all the time, all the time, if the movement changes, you will understand how to do it. That's why it's called a pillar.
The game and the four are quiet and quiet, the game and the four are as mentioned before, in this second meditation, both of them are quiet and quiet, quiet and quiet all around, quiet near, empty. , nothing..., so it's called the game and the four are quiet.
Everything inside is pure. What is it that the things inside are pure? That is, thinking and thinking are quiet, so the things that believe, the nature of trust, the nature of trust in front of you, and the things that are subject to, accept, adore, and love, the mind is always quiet. pure mind ..., collectively, the things inside are pure.
The nature of the mind to focus on one scene, one life.
What is concentrated mind on a scene? That is, the application and the four are quiet, the mind is not scattered, not disturbed, not flowing, but remains in one scene. It should be called the mind focused on a scene.
No search, no quartet means that in this second contemplation, neither application nor fourth is possible, not present, not present, not at all. So it's called no range.
Born to be happy.
What is determination? That is, the application and the four are quiet, the mind is fixed, stays close, stays, does not disperse, does not move, always keeps the prohibition, the mind is always focused on one scene, so it is called concentration.
What is joy (Happiness)? That is, when the game and the four are quiet, the mind will be happy, very happy... Broadly speaking, until the joy is happy, the nature of the joy is happy, generally called happy.
What is fun (lost)? That is, when the game and the four are quiet, have eliminated the heavy nature of the body, of the mind... Broadly speaking, until the nature of the body and mind are pliable, so it's called fun.
What is meant to be rejoicing? That is, the joy mentioned earlier is caused by the cause of concentration, based on concentration, is established, because of the power of concentration, it all arises and goes deep, appears..., so this is called birth concentration. happy.
The second rank is this kind of meditation, which is numbered in the second row. Also, this samadhi, in the order of the nine samadhis, is in the second row.
Contemplation is in this concentration, the inner joys are quiet, the mind is always focused on one scene, together these four factors are called the second meditation (second meditation). As it is chanted:
Searching and quartet are all quiet,
Like rain to clean dust,
In peace, mind a scene,
Gaining wonderful Bodhi.
No search, there is Joy,
Joy in purity and concentration,
As the second contemplation, the
Buddhas all praise.
In this concentration, the mind-mind-consciousness is called the second contemplation, the mind has all kinds of thoughts, all thinking and investigating..., up to the creation of the mind's karma, called the second meditation, all have karma. . The minds that understand, have been and will understand forever, called the second meditation, have won and understood clearly.
In this concentration, either feeling or perception..., until or wisdom, etc..., called the second meditation, all have those dharmas. So those dharmas are also called the second meditation. The name Meditation here is the meaning on which it is based, the completeness, the abiding ..., are the same as said before (at the first stage of meditation).
Goodbye - What is happy? It is a happy mind, very happy… to joyful joy, the nature of joyful joy, collectively known as joy. The mind for the joy is to leave this infection and be liberated, so it is called a cessation of joy (abandoning pleasure).
Relying on letting go and righteous mindfulness.
What is discharge? When leaving joy and happiness, there are properties such as equal mind, straight mind, unwary mind, always staying in silence... collectively known as Equanimity.
What is mindfulness? That is, when we leave the joy, the thoughts will depend on ..., until the nature of the mind is clear, remember for a long time ..., collectively called mindfulness.
What is the Chief Justice? That is, when the joy is gone, carefully selected ways arise up to the point of Vajrayana, collectively called right knowledge.
Dear received pleasure. The body is the mind body, because the mind in the body has a happy feeling, so the body of the four elements is also happy and satisfied. Therefore, it should be called the body being happy.
Joy is said here, that is, when we leave joy, we have cut off all the heaviness of the body, of the mind, etc., until the soft and smooth conditioning of the body and of the mind, so we call it joy.
This happy feeling is not a pleasant thing, so the Holy One teaches to let go. Saints are the Buddhas and disciples of the Buddha.
Say, that is to say, to explain, to distinguish and show.
Diligently cultivate concentration, that is, you should let go of this joy, you should not indulge in pleasure, you should only stay in equanimity but be mindful and righteous.
The third level is this kind of meditation, in order it is in the third row. Also in the order of these nine types of concentration, it is in the third row.
Contemplation is in this concentration the practice of equanimity, mindfulness, right understanding, and the body having pleasant feelings, the quality of mind concentrating on one object. Collectively call all these five limbs the third meditation. As it is chanted:
The supreme detachment,
Equanimity, mindfulness, tri, bliss, concentration,
The third name of meditation, the
Buddhas all praise.
In this concentration, with the mind-consciousness-consciousness, there are all kinds of thinking, searching and searching..., up to creating the mind's karma. Called the third meditation, all of them have karma, all minds understand, have and will understand forever, called the third meditation, they have won the solution (understood).
In this concentration, either feeling or perception..., until or wisdom, etc..., called the third samadhi, all have these dharmas. So these dharmas are also called the third meditation.
The name of this meditation and the meaning on which it is based is complete, permanent... just like I said before.
End of the fun. What is fun? That is, according to the contact with joy, it makes the body happy, the mind happy and the emotions equal (normal) by the life holding (control), collectively called fun. Also, when practicing the third meditation, according to the contact, there is a feeling of joy (pleasure feeling), so there is a happy mind, there is normal emotion (equality) due to life holding. That's fun.
End suffering. What is suffering? That is, in accordance with the contact with suffering should (arising) cause the body to suffer, have abnormal emotions due to the control of life, which is called suffering.
That suffering and joy are then eradicated and known all over, far away and very far away, subdued and very subdued, and eradicated. That is called the end of suffering and joy.
All the joys and sorrows of the past are gone.
What's fun? That is, according to the contact with joy, it makes the mind happy, having normal emotions controlled by life, which is called fun.
What is sad? That is, according to the contact with sadness and anxiety, it makes the mind sad and emotional, and has abnormal emotions due to the control of life. That is anxiety.
This sadness and the previous joy, then both ceased and known all over... until they were eradicated and disappeared. That is to say, the previous joys and sorrows have all disappeared. Also, when entering the preliminary meditation, anxiety has been cut off and is known all over. When entering the second jhāna, suffering is ended and is known all over. When entering the third samadhi, one is happy to have an end and to know all over. When entering the fourth samadhi, joy or suffering or joy or anxiety have all been cut off and are omniscient. When they are separated, they are further and further away. So it is said that the end of suffering and joy.
The former joys and sorrows disappear without suffering, indicating that there are no two emotions dry and happy, only the third is neither pain nor happiness.
There is a feeling (feeling) of equanimity and pure mindfulness.
What is discharge? That means that person at that time has the nature of the ordinary mind, the mind is upright, the mind is not alert but dwells in silence, collectively called Equanimity.
What is mindfulness? That means that person at that time has the concept of customizing ... wide to say until having the nature of the mind lucid remember long, collectively called Mindfulness. At that time, either equanimity or mindfulness, that person is purified. Both joy and sorrow, joy and anxiety, and both Searches and Quartets are finished, are far away, so it is said to be pure.
The fourth order, i.e. this type of meditation, is in the fourth row, respectively. Also in the order of these nine types of concentration, it is in the fourth row.
Contemplation, that is, in this purity, no longer suffering and joy, receiving the mindfulness of letting go, has the quality of the mind to concentrate on one object, so together these four factors are called the fourth contemplation. As it is chanted:
Pleasure and suffering have ceased, The
mind is steadfast, immovable, The
divine eye is pure, and
all forms are widely seen.
Not feeling pain and joy,
Mindfulness of discharge from purity and concentration,
The fourth name of serenity, the
Buddhas all praise.
In this concentration, the mind-mind-consciousness called the fourth contemplation, the mind has all kinds of thoughts that seek, investigate, and so on, up to the creation of the mind's karma. Called the fourth meditation, they all have karma, all minds are understood, have been and will be understood forever. Called the fourth meditation, they all have clear understanding, (winner).
In this concentration, either feeling or perceiving until or understanding..., called the fourth samadhi, there are all those dharmas, so those dharmas are also called the fourth samadhi.
This quiet name, the meaning on which it is based, is completeness and abiding..., is exactly the same as said before.

Chapter 12: Countless Words
At that time, Duc Bac-old Pham was living in the lonely garden, The Da forest, in the city of That-la-phie.
At that time, the World-Honored One said to the Bhikkhus: There are four immeasurable things, the four of which are:
There is a kind of loving-kindness that accompanies the mind, free from hatred and hostility, far from harmful effects, vast and immeasurable. If anyone is good at cultivating, the thoughts of one direction are all well understood and pervasive, fully and permanently. As for the second, third, fourth, upper, lower or side directions, all the world is the same, call it number one.
There is a kind of compassion that accompanies the mind, free from hatred and hostility, far from harmful effects, vast and immeasurable. If anyone is good at cultivating, the thoughts of one direction are all well understood and pervasive, fully and permanently. As for the second, third, fourth, upper, lower or side directions, all the world is the same, call it the number two.
There is a kind of Joy that accompanies the mind, free from hatred and hostility, far from harmful effects, vast and immeasurable. If anyone is good at cultivating, the thoughts of one direction are all well understood and pervasive, fully and permanently. As for the second, third, fourth, upper, lower or side directions, all the world is the same, call it the number three.
There is a kind of equanimity that accompanies the mind, free from hatred and hostility, far from harmful effects, vast and immeasurable. If anyone is good at cultivating, the thoughts of one direction are all well understood and pervasive, fully and permanently. As for the second, third, fourth, upper, lower or side directions, all the world is like that, call it the number four.
What is Word?
Answer: That is, there is a person who thinks that all sentient beings can have good happiness. This person immediately left home and relied on the dharma of separation. Due to the power of that selective thinking, there arises in his heart wholesome concentration in the Form plane and the order of the nature of loving-kindness called mercy, the quality of mercy, called remembrance. lo, the nature of thinking, nostalgia…, collectively known as Word.
There is also the perception-perception-consciousness, which arises together with the two types of body, speech, and action, and which is incompatible with the word, which is also called the word.
What is the family of loving-kindness concentration? What practices do you practice to enter the center of loving-kindness?
That is, it is like a person has such a mind: May all sentient beings have good joy. Even though he has such a mind, he does not understand clearly (wins the prize), when he wishes all sentient beings to have such good joy… He has a good and pure mind, depending on good cultivation. beautiful and adding many decorative offerings, always entrusting to help friends and personal belongings..., but it can't be called the family of the loving-kindness center, nor can it be called entering the loving-kindness center.
There are also some people who say: May all sentient beings have good joy. Although he said that, he did not understand it. May all sentient beings have such good joys. Even though his words are good, pure, and wonderful, even if he is wealthy, he cannot call it the extension of the loving-kindness concentration, nor can it be said that he has entered the loving-kindness concentration.
Another person generates loving-kindness like this: May all sentient beings have good joy. Even though he has such a mind and speech, but he doesn't understand it, may all sentient beings have such good joy, his mind and speech, though good and pure..., until financial resources, but can not call it the family of the center of loving-kindness, nor can it be called as having entered the center of concentration from.
There is another person who generates such a mind, utters such words, and understands: May all sentient beings have such good joy…. With the intention of words and understanding, although they are all good, pure and wonderful..., even if they have wealth, they still can't call it the family of loving-kindness concentration, nor can it be said that they have entered the loving-kindness concentration.
How was that? Just as a person, suffering from severe cold, hunger, and now being warm and happy, then aroused such a mind with that sign of joy, saying thus: May all sentient beings have such good joy... Although the mind, speech and clear understanding are all good and pure, even to the point of thinking, it cannot be called the extension of the loving-kindness concentration, and it cannot be said to have entered the loving-kindness concentration.
Again, there is a person who is severely tortured by hunger, and when he is full of food, he is happy, and with that joy he arouses his mind and utters the words: May all sentient beings have such good joy. …. Although that person's mind-words and clear understanding are all good, pure and wonderful..., up to personal wealth and material possessions, it cannot be called the extension of loving-kindness concentration, or having entered the loving-kindness concentration. Okay.
There was another person who was severely tormented by the suffering of thirst, so when he drank enough, he was born with joy, and from that joy his mind arose and uttered the words: May all sentient beings have good joy. like that etc. Even though one's mind, speech, and understanding are all wholesome
wonderful ..., until the fourth salary, but still can't call it the family of the center of loving-kindness, or having entered the concentration of loving-kindness.
It's like having a person whose body is dirty, his body is exhausted, he's tired, he lacks everything, his friends stay away When he meets a chance to take a thorough bath,
friends are reunited... should be born happy, then from that joy arise the mind to emanate wishes that all sentient beings have good joy, although his mind, speech, and understanding are all good and pure. wonderful ... until the fourth salary, but still can't call it the family of the center of compassion.
It is as if there is a person, encountering the summer weather is too hot, the sun's fire is hot like burning, so hot and thirsty to the point of stupor, body and mind are extremely frustrated ..., suddenly meet a cool pond, immediately jumped into the bath and drank as much as he wanted, so he was happy. Immediately from this joy arises a mind, uttering words: May all sentient beings have such good joy, etc. Regardless of that person's mind - words and understanding
They are all good, pure and wonderful, up to the fourth salary, but still can't call it the family of the loving-kindness concentration or having entered the loving-kindness concentration.
Thus, when enjoying all kinds of pleasures in the Desire realm and entering the second samadhi to enjoy good joys, he immediately aroused his mind with that sign of joy, saying: May all sentient beings have joy. such a good thing etc. Even though the person's mind-words and understanding are good
pure and wonderful until the fourth salary, but still can't call it family
happiness of centering From being. If this is born, it is only almost manifest.
Only when entering the third meditative absorption, because of that sign of joy, arise the mind-speaks like this, may all sentient beings have such auspicious joy, etc.. Due to one's mind-words and understanding. These are all good and pure until the fourth salary. Only then can it be called a family blessing
centering the Word and also said that he entered the center of the Word.
Again in this concentration, the mind-consciousness-consciousness, called loving-kindness, is present in all thoughts in the present, the past, or the future. If when creating the mind karma of the mind, it is also called the mind karma of loving-kindness. The minds that have understood, are and will always understand, are called understanding (winner) with loving kindness.
Again in this concentration, dharmas such as feeling - perception - desire - attention - mindfulness - concentration or wisdom etc..., are called dharmas with loving-kindness. And with such dharmas, it is also called the family of loving-kindness concentration, also called entering into the loving-kindness concentration.
Also, the loving-kindness centering has two things: one is the narrow-minded concentration, the second is the immeasurable vast and immeasurable loving-kindness concentration.
1. What is the family life of concentration From small? What practices must be practiced in order to enter into that narrow word concentration?
A: That is to say, just as there is a person, only for lovable, pleasing beings such as parents, brothers, sisters, and some other close relatives..., then for some sentient beings that narrow, narrow mind, also using a mind with a narrow and limited loving heart, always abiding, staying close, staying, always subduing, subduing, and being extremely quiet, steadfastly preserving the wishes of those people. sentient beings) have good joy. But in the meantime, if that person has a scattered mind, wanders around all over the world, does not concentrate on one object, is unable to keep mindfulness in order to stay on a condition that he wishes for the happiness of a few people, then in this case it can't be said that it's the family of narrow loving-kindness concentration. Only when one maintains control over one's mind, not allowing it to be scattered around, but rather makes the mind concentrate on one object, If you think about it, stick to a condition and then think about that narrow-limited sentient being and wish for them to be happy. With that thought, diligence and diligence with a very strong force, ardent efforts that are hard to stop, a heart that always tries and never stops, that's called the blessing of concentration Since childhood. narrow, also known as having entered the center of the narrow word.
That person, with this principle, this way, this way, cultivates, and the more he practices, the more he makes his cittas abiding, staying close, staying on one object, always maintaining oneness forever and ever. That's not backward, but wish for that small number to be happy. Only then is it called to have been entered into the narrow word concentration.
Again in this concentration, the mind-consciousness-consciousness called mind always has a narrow loving-kindness. All thoughts are thinking..., even creating the mind's karma, which is also called the mind karma, all have narrow loving-kindness. Having the minds that understand and will understand forever is also called understanding with a narrow loving-kindness.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling or perception..., coming or wisdom, etc., which are also called narrow-minded dharmas. With such dharmas, it is also called the family practice of narrow-minded concentration, also known as having entered into the narrow-minded concentration.
2. What is the family of the mind from immeasurable? What conduct must be practiced in order to enter the concentration of Immeasurable Love?
Answer: That is, for concentration, From small but always practicing, making the mind always obedient, subdued and quiet. Again, always taming, training, making it mature, upright, smooth, and capable of working, based on this noble concentration, and then gradually make the mind known and understood everywhere. Immeasurable sentient beings in the East wish for them to be happy. If during that time, this person has a distracted mind that is constantly flying around in other realms, unable to aim for one realm, unable to keep the mindfulness that causes abiding in a condition, etc., but wishes for those innumerable sentient beings are happy, then it can't be called the family practice of immeasurable loving-kindness concentration. For example, then he keeps control of his own mind, so that it does not scatter, does not fly and jumps to other objects, but insists on keeping his mind on one condition, then think of the sign of those immeasurable sentient beings and wish for them all to be happy. With such a thought, one generates diligence and diligence with a strong force... until the heart is always trying forever and ever..., then it is called the family of concentration from immeasurable loving-kindness, also called entering. centering from the immeasurable.
With that way, this person who has practiced and practiced more and more, can cause the minds to stay even, stay close, stay still, and keep on like that, unrelentingly wishing for the future. Those immeasurable sentient beings are happy. At this point, it is called having entered the center of immeasurable loving-kindness.
Again in this concentration the mind-consciousness-consciousness is called the mind that always has immeasurable loving-kindness. All thoughts are thinking..., until creating thoughts of the mind, it is called mind karma with immeasurable loving-kindness. The mind that has won the prize of clear understanding forever, is also called clear understanding (winner) with immeasurable Words.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling and perception…, as far as wisdom, so-called dharmas have immeasurable loving-kindness. Such dharmas are also called the family practice of immeasurable loving-kindness concentration, also called immeasurable loving-kindness samadhi.
What is Bi?
A: It means that someone has the thought: Wish that all people (sentient beings) would be free from suffering…. This person either enters the monastic life or enters the dharma of separation, and then because of that selective thinking power, there are good concentration in the Form realm, the types of compassion, the nature of compassion, of compassion like compassion. Compassionate compassion, the nature of compassion, or suffering, the nature of suffering (seeing other people's suffering is unbearable) collectively known as compassion is compassion.
There are also feelings - perception - formations - consciousness that give rise to two types of kamma of body and speech (speech and action) that are not compatible with actions but are compatible with compassion, also called compassion.
Besides, the center of Bi has two things: 1. Is narrow; 2. Is immeasurable.
1. What is the family life of the narrow Bi concentration, what kind of Bi practice to enter the narrow Bi concentration? Like there is a person to some lovable, loving, pleasing, and satisfying sentient beings like parents, brothers, sisters, and some others like relatives or friends… With a (small) number of friends. With that love, this person causes the mind to have that narrow compassion, stays, stays close, stays, and is always subdued, to be still, to be extremely quiet, and to keep it like that forever, wishing for the good. That meager and narrow love is all free from suffering. If, at that time, his mind is scattered and tumultuous, flying around in other realms, unable to concentrate on one object, unable to keep his mind fixed on one condition, wishing for that few sentient beings to be free from suffering, Thus, it cannot be called the family of the narrow compassion concentration, but at that time he keeps control of his mind so that it doesn't get distracted, wanders about and jumps everywhere but concentrates on one scene, dwells on one condition, and then thinks of those few people and makes a wish. let them all be free from suffering. With such a thought arises diligence and diligence…, until the heart is always trying. That is called the extension of the narrow compassion concentration, also known as having entered the narrow compassion concentration. That person with this way of practice, the more he practices, the more he makes his mind steady, stays close, stays fixed, and stays focused forever, not retreating, but longing for longing. may those few sentient beings be freed from suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the center of Bi concentration. Relying on one condition, thinking of those few people, wishing for them to be free from suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the center of Bi. Relying on one condition and thinking of those few people, wishing for them all to be free from suffering. With such a thought arises diligence and diligence…, until the heart is always trying. That is called the extension of the narrow compassion concentration, also known as having entered the narrow compassion concentration. That person with this way of practice, the more he practices, the more he makes his mind steady, stays close, stays fixed, and stays focused forever, not retreating, but longing for longing. may those few sentient beings be free from suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the center of Bi. then causes the mind to remain steady, to stay close, to abide, and to remain single-mindedly, without retreating, but to wish for the few sentient beings to be free from suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the center of Bi. then causes the mind to remain steady, to stay close, to stay, and to remain steadfastly single-minded, not retreating, but wishing for those few sentient beings to be free from suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the center of Bi.
Again in this concentration the mind-consciousness-consciousness called mind has narrow compassion. The thoughts that come to think..., to the creation of the mind's karma, which is called the mind-karma, all have narrow compassion. The clear understanding (winner) has won and will win the prize forever, it is called the winner with compassion.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling and perception… until wisdom, so-called dharmas all have narrow compassion. Such dharmas are also called the extension of the narrow compassion concentration, also called entering the narrow compassion concentration.
2. What is the extension of the limitless Bi concentration, which one must practice to enter the immeasurable Bi concentration? That is, for that narrow compassion concentration, one always cultivates, making the mind to be subject to, to be subdued, and to be quiet. Moreover, it must always be subdued and trained carefully, making it honest, gentle, gentle, capable of working and with a noble concentration later on as a refuge. Then gradually make the mind understand clearly (win the prize) everywhere. Then for the innumerable sentient beings in the East and so forth, wishing for them to be free from suffering. If at that time, this person has a mind that is scattered and agitated, always wandering around in every scene, unable to aim for a realm, unable to keep the mindfulness that makes it stick to a condition..., but wishing for those immeasurable beings to be free from suffering, at this time it cannot be called the extension of the concentration of immeasurable compassion, nor can it be said that it has entered the mind of immeasurable compassion. But then he keeps control of his mind, so that it doesn't get scattered, doesn't go flying around and jumps around, but always keeps his mind fixed on one condition, and then thinks of immeasurable ideas. those sentient beings who wish for them to be free from suffering. With such thinking, diligence arises, until the heart is always trying non-stop, then it is called the family of the immeasurable compassion concentration, also called the immeasurable compassion concentration. but always insisting on one condition, and then thinking of the thoughts of those countless sentient beings, wishing for them all to be free from suffering. With such a thought arises diligence, diligence..., until the heart is always trying non-stop, then it is called the family of the immeasurable compassion concentration, also called having entered the immeasurable compassion concentration. but always insisting on one condition, and then thinking of the thoughts of those countless sentient beings, wishing for them all to be free from suffering. With such a thought arises diligence, diligence..., until the heart is always trying non-stop, then it is called the family of the immeasurable compassion concentration, also called having entered the immeasurable compassion concentration.
With that way, this person who has practiced more and more forever, can make the minds abiding, abiding and keeping it like that forever, without retreating, but wishing for that number of sentient beings to be fulfilled. leave suffering. At this point, it is called having entered the mind of infinite compassion.
Again in this concentration, the mind-consciousness called mind has immeasurable compassion. All thoughts are thinking..., until creating the mind's karma, it's called mind karma with boundless compassion. The minds that have won the prize of clear understanding and have understood clearly forever, are also called clear understanding (winners) with immeasurable compassion.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling or perception... to wisdom, so-called all dharmas have immeasurable compassion. Such dharmas are also called the family practice of immeasurable compassion concentration, also called entering into immeasurable compassion concentration.
What is Hy?
A: It means that there is a person who thinks: It is a blessing that sentient beings enjoy many benefits. This person immediately falls into renunciation, or renunciation, and because of his choice of thinking power, he immediately arises in his heart a kind of good concentration in the Form realm, the mind is happy, very happy, and has the nature of very happy in the world. At present, the species are very joyful, of a pleasant nature, cheerful, joyful because of indissolubility, joyful and joyful, of a solid character, joyful and eager to want. dancing, having the nature of being joyful and joyful, wanting to dance, having fun and having fun, having the nature of being joyful and joyful…, collectively known as Hy.
Also, the things tho - perception - formations - consciousness that give rise to two karmas of body and speech (speech and action) do not correspond to actions but correspond to Joy, also called Joy.
Again, the center of Hy has two things: 1. Is narrow; 2. Is immeasurable.
1. What is the family life of the narrow Hy concentration, which one must practice in order to enter into the narrow Hy concentration?
Answer: That is, there is a person who is liked and satisfied by all living beings like parents, brothers, sisters, and some others like relatives and friends, this person is for a number of people. Those few (small) sentient beings that cause the mind to stay, all have small and narrow Joy, they all abide, they stay close, they stay, they are subdued, they are kept still, they are extremely still, and they keep it forever. then rejoice with those sentient beings when they are free from suffering. Whereas this person, if his mind is scattered, is always wandering or jumping all over the place without focusing on one scene, cannot keep his mind fixed on a condition but rejoice for the benefit of that small group of sentient beings. Thus, it cannot be called the family of the narrow Joy concentration, nor can it be said that it has entered the narrow Joy concentration. And if that person, at that time knows how to keep control of the mind, so that it does not scatter, flying around in every scene, but make it concentrate on one scene, dwell on a condition, then others think of the thoughts of a small group of sentient beings and are very happy when that small group of sentient beings are happy, with that thought arises diligence Diligent and strong…, until the heart is always trying endlessly. That's called the family of the narrow Hy centered concentration, also known as having entered the Hy centered mind.
This person with that way, having practiced and practicing more and more, makes the mind steady, steady, and persists like that, single-mindedly, not retreating, but joyfully. glad that this small number of sentient beings benefits. At this level, it is called having entered the narrow Joy concentration.
Again in this concentration, there are secondary consciousnesses, which are called narrow-happy minds. Having all thoughts thinking..., until creating the mind's karma, it's called the narrow-joy mind karma. The mind that has won the prize, understands, clearly has and will understand clearly, it's called victory. explanation, clear understanding with narrow Hy.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling or perception… to wisdom, etc…, which are called dharmas with narrow Joy. Such dhammas are also called the family practice of narrow Joy concentration, also called entering into narrow Joy concentration.
2. What is the family of immeasurable joy concentration, what must be cultivated in order to enter into the immeasurable Joy concentration?
Answer: That is to say, this person must always practice with the narrow Joy of concentration, so that the mind can be subdued, subdued, and quiet. Even more, it is necessary to always tame and train that mind, making it mature, upright, pliable, gentle, and able to work (tolerable), so that it can work with good concentration in the future. rely on. Then gradually cause the mind to be won, full. Then for the innumerable sentient beings in the East who rejoiced and wished, and saw their many benefits, seeing them there was much joy. But at that moment, if that person's mind is scattered, always chasing after other objects but can't focus on one, can't keep the mindfulness that makes it stick to a condition..., but rejoices with joy. benefits of immeasurable sentient beings, then it cannot be called the family practice of concentration Joy, also can not be said to have entered the center of Hy; just as at that moment, he knows how to keep control of his mind so that it stays focused on one scene, dwells on one condition, and then thinks of the sign of immeasurable sentient beings and rejoices with the benefit of the infinite. the number of sentient species that have been obtained. With such a thought that arises strong, diligent and diligent..., until the heart is always trying non-stop... That's called the family practice of immeasurable Joy concentration, which is also said to have been entered into the boundless Joy concentration. quantity.
With that way, this person who has practiced and practiced more and more and more and more, then makes the mind stay steady, stay close, stay abiding, and persist in keeping the mind like that forever, single-mindedly, without retreating. down…, but rejoicing with the benefit of the countless sentient beings received. Only then is it said to have entered the concentration of boundless Joy
Again in this concentration, all kinds of mind-consciousness are called the mind with immeasurable Joy..., up to the creation of the karmas of the mind, it is called the mind karma with immeasurable Joy, the minds have won the prize, understood. Knowing clearly has and will understand clearly forever, it is called the victory with immeasurable Joy.
Again in this concentration, there are dharmas such as feeling or perception… to wisdom, etc…, which are called dharmas with immeasurable Joy. Such dharmas are also called the family practice of immeasurable Joy concentration, which can also be said to have entered the Immeasurable Joy concentration.
What is Discharge?
Answer: That is, there is a person who thinks: So for all sentient beings, let go, without discrimination. This person immediately left home and entered the Dharma away from home, and then due to that selective thought (decisive) in his heart was born a wholesome concentration in the Form realm, with the properties of the mind always in a normal state, without distinction. (equality), the mind is always straight, the mind is not in the realm and is always quiet..., collectively known as Equanimity
Also, feelings - perception - formations - consciousness arise two kammas of body and speech (speech and action) Not corresponding to volition but corresponding to Equanimity, also called Equanimity.
What is the extension of the concentration of Equanimity, which practice must be practiced to enter into the concentration of Equanimity?

Like a monk without a bridge, when he entered a certain forest, he saw all kinds of trees such as Sala tree, Dala tree, Da-man tree, Ma general tree, Odam-ba-la tree or Naccu tree- da, etc., but there is no distinction that this is a Sala tree and this is a Da la tree…, up to this point it is a tree of Nac-cuda…, but there is an understanding that these are forest trees; Those who practice Equanimity should be the same for sentient beings who shouldn't be discriminating. If at that time this person has a scattered mind, flying around in a single object, unable to concentrate on a single object, unable to keep mindfulness on a single condition, thinking of the characteristics of numbers, few sentient beings, and towards sentient beings. that love, but always let go without distinction, with that thought, generate strong diligence, diligence..., until the heart is always trying endlessly. That is called the extension of the narrow equanimity concentration, also known as having entered the narrow equanimity concentration.
With that way, this person has practiced, and the more he practices, the more he makes the mind to stay steady, to stay close, to stay abiding, to keep it like that forever, single-handedly, without retreating. , but for sentient beings always let go without distinction. Then it is called being entered into the narrow concentration of Equanimity.
Again in this concentration, there are mind-consciousness-consciousness, which is called narrow equanimity mind. All kinds of thoughts are thought..., until the creation of the mind's karma, it is called the narrow-minded equanimity. The mind that has won the prize, understands clearly - has and will always understand clearly, then it is called the victory with narrow Equanimity. There are dharmas such as feeling or perception… to wisdom, etc., which can also be called narrow equanimity. Such dhammas are also called the extension of the narrow equanimity concentration and are also referred to as having entered the equanimity concentration.
2. What is the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, which must be cultivated in order to enter the immeasurable equanimity concentration?

Then, gradually, the mind won the prize, understanding clearly everywhere. Then towards the countless sentient beings in the East who always let go, without distinction. If at that moment that person has a scattered mind, flying around in all other objects, unable to concentrate on one object, not keeping mindfulness on one condition, etc., but for sentient beings to abide in equanimity what distinction, then in this case can't be called as the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, nor can it be said to have entered the equanimity concentration; just like that, that person knows how to capture photography, keep control of his mood, not let it wander around and jump around in every other scene, focus on one scene or dwell on one condition..., but think Think of the sign of immeasurable sentient beings, and for that sentient being always let go without making any distinction. With such a thought, a strong energy arises, diligence, diligence..., until the heart is always trying endlessly. That is called the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, which is said to have been entered into the immeasurable equanimity concentration. Do not let it wander around and jump around in every other scene, concentrate on one scene or dwell on one condition..., but think about the characteristics of innumerable sentient beings, and for that sentient being, always. letting go makes no distinction. With such a thought, a strong energy arises, diligence, diligence..., until the heart is always trying endlessly. That is called the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, which is said to have been entered into the immeasurable equanimity concentration. That is called the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, which is said to have been entered into the immeasurable equanimity concentration.
With the way that this person has been practicing and practicing more and more and more and more, it makes the mind to stay steady, stay close, stay abiding, and keep on keeping it like that in a single way without retreating... , but for sentient beings always let go, without distinction at all. At that time, it is called having entered the concentration of Immeasurable Equanimity.
Again in this concentration, there are consciousness-consciousnesses, which is called the mind with immeasurable Equanimity. All kinds of thinking are thought, up to the creation of the mind's karma, it is called the mind karma with immeasurable equanimity. The mind that has won the prize, understands clearly, has and will always understand clearly, then it is called winning the prize with immeasurable equanimity.
Again in this concentration there are dharmas such as feeling or perception... to wisdom etc...., which are called dharmas with immeasurable equanimity. Such dharmas are also called the extension of the immeasurable equanimity concentration, also called having entered the immeasurable equanimity concentration.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.24/10/2021.
