Homage to the Venerable Master Manjushri! (1) Homage to the Lord (family) Shakyamuni. His body was born from immeasurable merits, excellent marks and superiority. His words satisfy the hopes of immeasurable beings. His mind understands all dharmas as they are. (2) Homage to Maitreya and Manjushri, the supreme son of the peerless Guru. Take responsibility for (give) all the deeds of the Conqueror. Manifesting incarnations in countless worlds. (3) Homage to Nagarjuna and Asanga, famous throughout the three realms as the (jewel) dignified Nam Thiem Bo Chau: commentary on the most difficult points to grasp (Prajnaparamita), Mother of the Victorious One , in the true sense of the Dharma. (4) Homage to Dipamkara (Atisha), holder of the teaching fortune, capturing the perfect, unmistakable quintessence of the two paths of profound insight and generous merit in an excellent lineage, from two outstanding pioneers. (5) Homage to the masters, eyes see the vast and boundless sutras, the supreme river for sentient beings fortunate to reach the shore of liberation. I have clarified (all), by skillful means, motivated by love. (6) The sequential path to enlightenment has been passed on to later generations, from Nagarjuna and Asanga, the jeweled crowns of the learned masters of Nam Thiem Bo Chau. Banners of your fame fluttered above the heads of sentient beings drifting in samsara. Since (following the stages of the path) can accomplish the goal of the nine types of rebirth, should be called the King of Power of the precious teaching. Because of these (benefits), the wise among the erudite Tibetan masters all follow the second path of the three classes of practitioners, the supreme instruction to which many fortunate practitioners have entrusted themselves. (8) Whatever (merit will accumulate) from reciting or listening to Atisha's (text) even once, fully covers the essential points of the canonical statement. However, since there are even greater benefits, accumulated by teaching or studying the sacred Dharma (contained within), consider the points (to do this right). (9) First, diligently rely on the Guru, good knowledge. Like rational thought and practice, it is the source of all good things, in the present and future lives. Buddhist worship is the ultimate offering. Do not forsake the Guru, even at the cost of his life. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (10) (Precious human life) with (eight) freedoms, more precious than the wish-fulfilling jewel. Only once in this life can it be. Hard to find, easy to lose like lightning in the middle of nowhere. Thinking of knowing the worldly dharma is as ephemeral as water bubbles. Day and night, must extract the essence of human life. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (11) After death, there is no guarantee that we will not fall into the evil path, only the Three Jewels can protect us from this horror. to lead a religious life. Based on thinking the law of cause and effect in black and white, then practice according to what should be done, what should be abandoned. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (12) Careful thinking of good and bad karma, So as the theory of practice, the paragraph needs to be clarified. The victorious path cannot be accomplished without meeting all conditions (precious human life). Therefore, students should not fail, The three karmas are polluted by evil karma, transgression of precepts and karma. Repent of karma from the three gates, by relying on the four antidotes. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (13) If we do not think about the difficulties and disadvantages, the truth of suffering, then the mind seeking true liberation does not arise. If you don't think about the process of entering samsara, that is, the truth, you don't know how to cut off the root of samsara. Therefore, resolve to be free from samsara, bored with birth and death, understand the cause that binds oneself in samsara. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (14) Generating bodhichitta is the core of the Mahayana Path, the foundation of all the great conduct of (Bodhisattvas). Twenty-four wages transform gold, the store of merit contains countless virtuous deeds. The bodhisattvas realize this, and should keep the supreme mind as a commitment from the bottom of their hearts. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (15) Generosity is the wish-fulfilling jewel, satisfying the hopes of sentient beings, and a precious sword that cuts the knots of mediocrity. The bodhisattvas develop a fearless, fearless heart that makes their name known in the ten directions. Knowing this, a wise person completely gives away his body, possessions, and merit. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (16) Precepts are like water that washes away defilements. Like the moonlight that eases the heat of afflictions. Among the nine species of living beings, radiant as majestic as Mount Sumeru. Thanks to the power of the precepts that sentient beings fear. Knowing that, the wise protect the precepts like the eyeballs. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (17) Forbearance is the most beautiful ornament, the top of the ascetic practices, for those who are tormented by afflictions. Like a squirrel that subdues the serpent of the yard, it is a strong armor against the weapons of harsh words. Know that, should (the wise) wear armor, use many means of practice. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (18) Once put on the armor of diligence, steadfast and incorruptible, the mastery and realized Sutras grow like a new moon gradually, All virtues become meaningful, all things are accomplished as desired. Knowing this, the bodhisattvas cut off all distractions and diligently cultivate. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (19) Concentration is the King who controls the mind. Remain motionless, towering like the Lord of the Mountains. Make the mind focus on wholesome objects. Skillfully leading the body and mind to great peace. Knowing that, yogis often practice concentration, to tame the scattered enemy. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (20) Wisdom eyes see feet as deep, The path to the cessation of existence. It is a treasure of virtuous conduct praised in all the sutras, worthy of the name of a lamp that conquers and destroys the darkness of delusion. Knowing that, the wise seek liberation, making efforts to commit themselves on the path of liberation. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (21) If you only practice concentration but lack wisdom, you cannot eradicate the root of samsara. If you only practice wisdom but lack concentration, you cannot get rid of defilements. With the sharp sword of Madhyamaka logic, ride a horse with a fixed mind, cutting off all stubborn prejudices. Generosity of wisdom, such as insight, increases the knowledge that realizes the nature of reality. noble lama, perfect like that. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (22) Due to single-pointed focus leading to concentration, so as the principle of contemplation, thinking to prove the true meaning, Standing firmly immovable. Knowing that, should combine both wisdom, extraordinary dharma. Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (23) At the moment of entering meditation, emptiness is like space. When coming out of meditation, see all dharmas as illusory. Unified wisdom means are praised, like "bodhisattva conduct to the other shore". Knowing that, the wise are not satisfied with the one-sided achievement of a path, which is the tradition of the fortunate (to achieve enlightenment). Such a noble, perfect lama practices. Those who want to be liberated should follow. (24) Mahayana, the cause (Paramtrayana) and the effect (Mantrayana) have two. The path of victory, should first practice the path of practice.
