O Lord, if a bhikkhu is heard thus: 'It is unworthy to be partial to all dharmas', he knows all dhammas. Having known all dharmas, he knows thoroughly all dharmas. Having thoroughly known all dharmas, if there is any feeling, pleasant feeling, painful feeling, or neither painful nor pleasant feeling, he lives contemplating impermanence, dwells contemplating the nature of detachment, lives contemplating cessation, lives contemplating renunciation in those feelings. He lives by contemplating impermanence, living in contemplation of separation from greed, living in contemplation of cessation, living in contemplation of detachment in those feelings, so he is not attached to anything in life; Because he has no attachment, he is not afflicted, because he is not afflicted, he attains Nirvana.
