?What must we do to get the word "son of Buddha" right? VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. THE WAY OF liberating When it comes to the path of spiritual progress, we have already talked about people who have already walked on the path of spiritual progress, now we talk directly into spiritual progress or find out what is the path of spiritual progress. that set. The true path of spiritual progress means the practice of spiritual progress. We consider ourselves to be Buddha's children, so what do we have to do to be true to this noun? We are very fortunate to be disciples of the Buddha, and have been shown the spiritual path by the Buddha. To become a disciple of the Buddha, the first thing we must do is take refuge in the Buddha or take refuge. Now let us begin the path of spiritual progress by taking refuge or seeking refuge. refuge, safe haven. REFUGE As children, in times of fear we often run to our parents for protection. Once in the arms of parents, fear ceases. When we are in danger, we often try to run somewhere to avoid danger. When the weather outside is too hot, we run into the house to find cool. The house becomes our refuge from the heat outside. Likewise, when it's cold, we have to go inside to avoid the cold outside. Home is a shelter for us to avoid heat, cold, wild animals and the dangers of weather such as rain, wind, storm. On the long journey of samsara, sometimes we feel fear, sometimes we feel danger. When faced with fear or danger, we need somewhere to hide. We need someone or something to get us out of fear or danger. Taking refuge also has the same meaning. What is refuge, refuge or refuge? According to the Old Commentary, the word Refuge or Refuge means to rely on someone or something to dissolve the state of fear, terror, suffering, adversities, insecurities, especially suffering. in the cycle of birth and death. In this sense, the Buddha, Dharma, Sangha or Three Jewels are called refuge, refuge or refuge. The Buddha is called the Refuge or Refuge; because He soothes our fears, those of sentient beings. This means that the Buddha helps us to avoid danger, by bringing us to safety, benefit, good. The Buddha is like a talented and skillful teacher. The Buddha always taught us: " Do good, stay away from evil ". When the Buddha said to do good, the Buddha committed that if we do good, good, we will gain many benefits. When the Buddha taught us not to do unwholesome actions, it meant that the Buddha took us out of a dangerous, unkind place. France is also a refuge. When one understands the Dharma, they will be Enlightened. Once Enlightened, this person has the ability to cross the sea of sufferings of birth and death and reach the other shore safely. Even if they have only attained lower levels of Enlightenment, the person who understands the Dharma Armor has, at least, one foot out of the cycle of samsara. In this sense the Dharma Jewel is called the Refuge, the Dharma Jewel also soothes the fear or danger of sentient beings. The Sangha is also called the Refuge because the Sangha are those who have completely eliminated or partially eliminated defilements, are a good and clean example, and are a model for us to follow. The holy monks have followed the path of the Buddha, have liberated Enlightenment, created confidence in us, made us ready to go on the path the Buddha instructed. Therefore, every time we make offerings to the monks, we reap many good results from this offering. When we pay respect or pay respects to the monks, we also reap many good results from that reverence. On the other hand, if we make offerings to those who do not deserve to receive offerings, we will not get the same good results as making offerings to the monks. Monks are called Refuges because they make our offerings, our acts of respect, bring good results. Relying on the Sangha, taking refuge in the Sangha here, means relying on their good and clean example, taking them as a base on the path to Enlightenment like them. As a Buddhist, the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha are our Refuge. To confirm that: We are the children of the Buddha who rely on the Three Jewels, so we take refuge. Surely you all know what is Quy Y! How to take refuge? According to Abhidhamma, at the time of taking refuge a good mind arises in us. This wholesome mind ( kusala ) is pure mind, free from defilements. This kind mind is wisdom that understands the Three Jewels, puts faith in the Three Jewels. When this goodwill arises, taking the Three Jewels as an object we put our trust in the Three Jewels. Thus, taking refuge in the Three Jewels really means the arising of the kind of goodwill that takes the Three Jewels as its object. When we say "I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha" we mean that we consider the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha as our ultimate refuge. We choose Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha as refuge, the highest refuge. Taking refuge or taking refuge means the arising in the mind of this type of mind. When we say " I take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha ", this mind arises in our mind, unpolluted by defilements. This kind of mind is characterized by reverence for the Triple Gem. At the same time, this mind only takes the Three Jewels as a refuge and does not rely on any other place. In the Commentary, explain who is a Refugee? This means what kind of person takes refuge. The answer is that the person with this type of mind or the person with this mind is the one who is taking refuge. To take refuge we simply consider the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha as our teacher, is our guide. Taking refuge does not mean just having faith in the Buddha without doing anything, just thinking: just relying on the Buddha will achieve good results. Taking refuge means accepting the Buddha as your spiritual guide. TWO TYPES OF RULES There are two types of refuge, supramundane refuge and secular refuge. Taking refuge in the supramundane The supramundane Refuge takes place at the time of Enlightenment or at the time when Dao Mind arises. When the Way Mind arises, the meditator, Enlightening the Four Noble Truths, takes Nirvana as his object at that moment. Right at the moment when Dao Mind arises is the time to take refuge. And then Refuge is firmly established for this person. That is the supramundane refuge. Secular Refuge Secular Refuge is Refuge for lay people ( puthujjana ). This worldly person suppresses afflictions while taking refuge. Obstacles while taking refuge mean: not trusting, not knowing anything about the Three Jewels, etc. When taking refuge clearly understands the Three Jewels, they have faith or confidence in the Three Jewels, and when they take refuge, they take the wonderful properties of the Three Jewels as their object. This means that when taking refuge, the Refugee thinks of the good qualities of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. Buddha Dharma Sangha, for Buddhists, are objects of their faith and trust. When we gain faith in the Buddha Dharma Sangha, we take refuge. Faith helps us to have Right View; because it is through faith that we learn the teachings of the Buddha. By studying the teachings of the Buddha, we have right understanding or Right View. At the time of taking Refuge, Faith and Right View arise in our mind. There are ten Good Karmas, the last of which is Right View. Right View is the root of Faith or fervent confidence and the Three Jewels.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/10/2021.
