They surrendered everything to the Buddha. The World-Honored One preached the order of the Dharma, and upon hearing that, they asked to become ordained as a noble. The World-Honored One sent them forth from the home life by improvising Ehibbikkhu upasampadā, in the Kappāsika forest. 2) Atha kho bhagavā: After that, the Blessed One went on a pilgrimage to the land of Uruvela, where he remained. At that time, there were three ascetic brothers (Jaṭila) namely: Uruvelakassapa, Nadīkassapa, Gayākassapa. Uruvela Kassapa had 500 disciples. Mr. Nadi Kassapa had 300 disciples. Mr. Gayā Kassapa had 200 disciples. The Buddha came to the place of Mr. Uruvela Kassapa and asked to stay in the fire. The Buddha explained the reason for everything to Kassapa. He thought: This ascetic is only knowing so much, not being a noble Arhat like me. At that time, Paṅsakūla cloth was born to the Blessed One, and he came to live. took the cloth that they interrogated the corpse of the janitor Puṇṇā, took it away and left it in the grave, the Buddha intended to wash it. Immediately, the Emperor liked to dig down to dig the Pokkharaṇī lake to make an offering. Buddha washed it and thought where to rub it. Lord Shakyamuni brought back the big rock. Buddha rubbed on that rock and thought where to squeeze. God De Thich pressed down the tree branch for Buddha to squeeze. He thought again where the Tathagata will dry. Mr. Kashyap thought to himself that he was not a noble Arhat like me. 5) Tadanantaraṃ: Then again, the Buddha performed four miracles (Pātihāriya) which were: He brought Mr. Kassapa, He flew away to bring mangoes, fruit bunches of forest intestines, wild canna fruit, from the Himalayas, he ascended to the palace of the Dao Loi and brought down the very precious Paricchattaka flowers, he sat down in the fire parlor before Mr. Kassapa for 4 times. Mr. Uruvela Kassapa thought the same as before. Ekadivasaṃ jatilā: One day those Jatila wanted to light a fire, chop wood without breaking it, and thought that the reason for such a thing was because of certain Samana's supernatural powers. The Buddha replied that you can chop firewood as you wish. Immediately the ascetics were able to chop firewood. The next day the Jaṭilas who lit the fire did not burn, thinking the same way as before. Buddha said to burn up. The Jaṭila finished offering the fire and then ignited the fire without extinguishing, the Buddha allowed it to be extinguished: Mr. Kassapa also thought the same as before. 6) Tasmiṃ sītasamaye: While it was cold due to heavy snowfall, the Jaṭila group went down to bathe in the Nerañjarā river, when it was too cold, the Arahant Sammāsambuddho turned 500 of them. furnace for the Jatila brothers. So far: but the pagan group still thinks the same way. One day, during the off-season, heavy rain fell everywhere. As for the place where the Great Compassionate One resides, where the water is not wet, on the contrary, there is dust flying up, Mr. Uruvela Kashyapa thought: The Great Samana must have sunk in the river water. The Buddha did not ascend in the boat, but flew up into the air, then descended to sit in Uruvela's boat. He still thinks the same way. 7) Tato paṭṭhāya: Since the day the Buddha came out of the Loc Gia forest on the day after the full moon of October, he came to reside in Uruvela, 2 months to the full moon of December. During this time, the Buddha transformed into a strange miracle in 1,500 ways, but Uruvela Kassapa was still as stubborn as ever. The Buddha thought: The Tathagata should frighten this Jatila, so he said to Kashyapa thus: Hey Jatila, you are not a noble Arhat, why do you claim to be a noble Arhat? Mr. Kassapa heard the Buddha's words, so he bowed in awe at the Buddha's feet, and asked to leave home and receive full precepts. The Buddha said goodbye to 500 Jatila disciples. Kassapa obeyed the Buddha, the students also obeyed the Buddha and took fire-worshipping accessories to release the river. The Buddha compassionately saved the noble monk by way of the Ehi Bhikkhu. Nadīkassapo pana: As for Mr. Nadī Kassapa and Mr. Gayā Kassapa, for example, seeing treasures floating on the water like that, Mr. Nadī led 300 disciples, Mr. Gayā led 200 disciples to Uruvela to ask about the story as well. Drop the things into the country, then apply for ordination and take full precepts. The World-Honored One gave him the full precepts to become Ehi bhikkhus, and then he preached the fire Dharma Aditta pariyāya suttrā, at the end of the Dharma period thousands and three Jatila bhikkhus attained Arahantship. 8) Bhagavā tesaṃ upanissayaṃ natvā: The Blessed One knew the good conditions in their previous lives, so he preached the Dharma for the attainment of the path and fruition. At that time, the World-Honored One, understanding the state of mind with wisdom, taught Uruvela Kassapa to cut off the doubts of the Brahmins and the bourgeois. Uruvela understood the Buddha's teachings, immediately flew up into the sky to the height of a coconut tree, came down to pay respects once, always about 7 coconut trees, then said: Buddha is my teacher, I am a disciple of hearing literature. his death, all seven times. The assembly with pure hearts admired the miraculous powers, and together they praised the Buddha's virtues.
