The abodes and realms of heaven in Buddhism.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH. Residence and realm About the Four Heavenly Kings Four kings: The Pāli phrase: "Catummahārājikā" is translated as a group of gods with four kings, who rule over this heaven. That is: Dhatarattha: The Kingdom of Heaven (king of heaven) Viruḷhaka: Growth (king of heaven) Virūpakkha: Quang Mu (Heavenly King) Kuvera Vessavaṇṇa: Da Van (king of heaven) This heavenly realm resides at the top of Mount Yugandhara which is the seventh mountain, one of the Seven Mountains (Sattapribaṇḍa). Some details about the Heaven of the Four Elements and the Four Heavenly Kings: "Purimañca disaṃ rājā, dhataraṭṭho pasāsati, gandhab bānaṃ adhipamahārājā yasasino". Tri kingdom heavenly king dominates the East, masters Gandhabbā (Gandhabbā), that is, has them as subordinates. "Dakkhinañca disaṃ rājā, viruḷho tappasāsati, kumbhaṇḍāni adhipati, mahārājāyasassino". Growth heavenly king in charge of the South, is the owner of the tea table (Kumbhaṇḍā), that is, having them as his subordinates. “Pacchimañca disaṃ rājā virūpakkha pasāsati, nāgānaṃ adhipati, mahārājā yasassino”. Quang Muc Thien Vuong governs the West, mastering the Dragon (Nāga) species, that is, having them as his subordinates. "Uttarañca disaṃ rājā, kuvevo tappasāsati, yakkhānaṃ adhipati, mahārājā yasassino". Da Van Thien Vuong dominates the North, owns the Yakkha (Yakkha), that is, has them as his subordinates. All four of these heavenly kings have great merit, have a lot of divine power and majesty. Each of them had 1000 sons (princes), noble, beautiful, all the same appearance. "Sunarusso hi pācinapassaṃ rajatamayaṃ dakkhiṇā passaṃ māṇimayaṃ pacchimapassaṃ phalikamayaṃ uttara pasaṃ sovaṇṇamayaṃ". To the east of Mount Tu Di has a road made of silver, to the south there is a road made of jade mani, to the west there is a road made of crystal jade (phali), to the north there is a road made of gold. The realm of Heavenly King Da Wen Multiply the past At a time when no Buddha was born, there was a Brahmin named Kuvera, he had a very gentle and virtuous life, and was willing to give alms and help people. His house is located next to a road with many pedestrians, so he set up a sugarcane juice shop to give alms to customers from all over the world. It's as simple as that, but he does this good deed tirelessly, non-stop like a well of fresh water for everyone, regardless of those who know strangers, the rich and the poor. At the end of that life, the old man Kuvera was reborn in the heaven of the Four Great Elements, then became a heavenly king named Vessavaṇṇa. Ruler country In the North, where this heavenly king is in charge, there is a road made of gold, there are 10 countries, which are: Aṭhānāthā, Kusināthā, Parakusināthā, Nāthāpaviyā, Parakusitanāthā, Kapivanta, Janagha, Navanatiya, Ambarāparavatiya, Āḷakamahā. There is a separate realm, Visāna - the abode of the heavenly king Kuvera - combined with the residence, so this person is named Kuvera Vessavaṇṇa. This heavenly king, translated as Bhikkhu, translates to Da Van, because he often listens to the Dharma, has the heart to protect the Three Jewels, the kingdom, the dojo, the place of worship, and the good men and women who know how to practice. . General Da Xoa The multicultural king has 12 yakshas (lower devas) as subordinate generals, taking on external tasks, obligated to observe and capture news from all over the world, and report back to him. They are: Tatona, Tatthaṇa, Tatotaṇa, Ojasī, Tatosī, Suru, Rāja, Surorāja, Ariṭṭha, Nomi, Aviṭṭhanemi. These Yaksha generals are not all good. They are a little more blessed than the human realm, but the mind-ground is just a being with greed, hatred, delusion, afflictions and all kinds of dust, dirt, either present or dormant. God of Da Xa The court of Da Van Thien Vuong had 28 great Yakshas, taking care of everything inside and outside, with different functions such as consulting, consulting, ceremonies, celebrations, banquets, entertainment, singing. Also, they are good or bad: Mātali, Sitasona, Gandhabba, Janosabha, Sātāgira, Hemavata, Naḷorāja, Puṇṇaka, Karatuya, Gula, Sivaka, Muccarinda, Vesāmitta, Yugandhara, Gopāla, Supagodha, Hiri, , Mandiya, Pañcāla, Canda, Āḷavaka, Pajunna, Sukhuma, Mani, Māṇicara, Digha. Level In the realm of Visāna of the Multi-Marianth, there is a lake named Dharaṇī 50 yojanas deep, clear blue water reflecting the seven treasures, there are countless exotic flowers, birds, birds and beasts of the heavens, but many strange and beautiful things. There is a synagogue here, actually a spacious, large, magnificent palace that is blessed with seven treasures, at most hundreds of them. type of jade used as a place to hold the Yaksha congress. All the above-mentioned Yakshas have families, entourage as well as many subordinates and slaves. Yaksha with a lot of divine power can also transform this and that and travel through space as easily as you want. If you have little divine power, you will borrow the divine power of your entourage, slaves, and pets to fly. There are a few Pāli texts that help us understand that: "Gāviṃ ekakhuraṃ katvā": There is a group that uses cows (heavenly cows), to ride flying. "Pasuṃ okkhuraṃ katvā": Some groups use the harp (the celestial harp), riding to fly. "Itthiṃ vāhanaṃ katvā": There are groups that use women (female Yakshas) to ride to fly. "Purisaṃ vāhanaṃ katvā": There is a group that uses men (male Yaksha) to ride to fly. "Kumāriṃ vāhanaṃ katvā": There is a group that uses female bronze (Yaksha female) to ride to fly. "Kumāraṃ vāhanaṃ katvā": There are groups that use the male bronze (Yaksha bronze male) to ride to fly. So they are also free to fly here and there throughout the three mountains and four seas, unobstructed in the vast space. The commentary also says that the owner of this Yaksha usually likes to use a pregnant female Yaksha to make it easier to ride (because the stomach is bloated, is it easy to sit?) and the other female servant Yakshas sometimes use it as draw. As for Da Van Thien Vuong, it is arbitrary, when using divine power to fly, when using the celestial statue, the celestial horse, sometimes resting in the palace and the palace can fly here and there. Note: With the exception of the Four Great Heavenly Kings, who are deities with a lot of power and great blessings, the gods and goddesses are also gods, but with less blessings. The rest, such as the subordinates of the Daksha, the subordinates of the Can Thos, the subordinates of the dragons, and the subordinates of Cuu Ban tea, are of the lower class. They, along with a number of yaksha slaves, elephants, horses, peacocks, etc., sometimes belong to a chemical birth, an eagle, an ovum, etc., as in the human world. The latter two classes, merits and demerits are inferior to human beings. About the Dao Loi heaven The name of heaven and the name of Shakyamuni Tāvatiṃsa, meaning 33 due to the story (will be told later) is that there are 33 people who do merit, have faith, have precepts, so they are born here to own 33 palaces. The word Dao Loi has no meaning at all. The reason is as follows: The word Tāvatiṃsa is Pali with the same meaning, Sanskrit is Trāyastriṃsa. When going to China, the translators translated the Trāyastriṃsa word above as “Da da da da da di xa”. For a long time, due to abbreviated reading, the sound turned into "Dat Li" and then "Dao Li" that became familiar, popular. What about De Thich's name? De Thich also doesn't mean anything. His real name is Sakka, maybe this Chinese character becomes De Thich?[12]. This man in the human world is called the Jade Emperor of God, ruling over the Four Great Heavenly Kings, in fact, he has all of the following seven titles: Maghavā: Because in a previous life as a human you had such a name. Purindado: By complementing the perfection of giving. Sakko: By supplementing the dharma of giving by reverence. Vāsavo: Because he used to give a sleeping place to a lost guest. Sahassakkho: Due to the ability to see thousands of causes and effects at a glance. Sujampati: Because she is Sujatā's husband. Devānamindo: Because you are the most blessed, the most majestic in the heavens 33 and the Four Great Kings. Notes [12] Feel free to comment. Buddha Sakya, the sound train is Shakyamuni. So, perhaps "di" is a king, an emperor, and "like" is the sound of "Sak" in Sakka, is it? We can also understand in another way, the person who gave birth to this heaven is also the predecessor of the Buddha, belonging to the Sakyamuni lineage, but because of that association, he was named Emperor Shakyamuni? What dharma creates people to be born in Heaven? The Buddha has a theory with the general idea that: Who in being human has full 7 virtues. The following qualities will be reborn in Heaven: Mātāpitubharo: Serve your parents for the rest of your life. Kuleyiṭṭhāpcāyī: Respect the elders in the family. Sahavācā: Gentle and courteous speech. Apisunāvācā: Do not speak offensively or bully others. Vigatamalamacchero: Not stingy and stingy. Akodhano: Don't get angry. Emperor Shakyamuni has always had these 7 qualities in his human lives, so he is often praised by the gods of the Dao Loi heaven, praising him as a good, knowledgeable, and pure person. Level The realm of the Heavenly Knife at the top of Mount Sineru is very large and wide, spanning thousands of years. Due to the great fortune, he manifests an unimaginable realm of the human world. Can summarize through special artifacts. 01 magnificent palace with many floors, many roofs with seven treasures, about 700 meters high, is located in the center of the country. This is the great synagogue of all the gods called Vejayañta. Especially here, there are many flagpoles, about 300 meters high. The poles and flags are rich in many colors. If the pole is gold, the flag is jade maṇi. If the pole is made of jade, the flag is gold. If the pole is made of babāla, the flag is made of mukta. If the pole fails, the flag will also fail. 01 strange longevity tree named Pāricchattaka, with leaves built around like canopy, 300 yojana high. One rock under that tree, named Paṇḍukambala, with a cubic volume, 60 times 50 times 15 due to the week's color, is like a Japā flower (rose). This is Emperor Shakyamuni's throne when he wants to sit in the middle of the sky, when sitting down, it dimples, when moving, it swells up very strangely. 01 special celestial statue by a god named Iravaṇṇa manifesting to serve the heavenly master (but this Heaven has no animals). Whenever the gods and gods wanted to play a fancy game, the other elephant appeared majestic, 150 yojana tall, and had 33 wings on its back. There are floors, there are thrones for 33 gods, located in the surrounding positions. Each arm like that squared about 6,000 arm spans. In each of those pots there is a large lake, in the lake there are 7 water tanks, each basin has 7 lotus trees, each lotus tree has 7 flowers, each flower has 7 dancing and singing fairies. Particularly, our Lord Jade Emperor has a special armchair, in the central position, 30 yojanas wide, has a jade palace 12 yojana high, inside there is a throne also made of high jade. Do week, and the surrounding also appear similar to the above but the seven treasures are more, more magnificent, bigger, more beautiful. 01 square 500 yojana, magnificent temple named Sudhammadevā Sabhā. There is a strange lake called Sunandā Pokkharanī, made of precious stones and pebbles with seven treasures, all kinds of fish, all kinds of colors, and seven treasures swimming around. There are 7 types of heavenly lotus, 7 colors, always blooming and not fading, sweet fragrance. 01 royal garden named Sucittalatā, is the entertainment place for all the gods, 500 yojana wide, but inside there are many exotic flowers, many entertainment projects, entertainment, parties, music and dance... but the world inconceivable. King De Thich has 4 wives: Queen Sudhamma and 3 celestial concubines Sunanadā, Sucitta and Sujātā. Usually there are several million jade maids. The gods in this realm live in their youth, forever young and never old. At the end of life, you will see the pre-phenomenon (Pubbanimitta), which is 5 signs that you will know when you are about to die. As mentioned above, that is: The makeup flowers quickly wither, the celestial robes, the clothes are pale in color, the body is dripping with sweat, the body is exhausted, it seems that there is no energy left, and the 5th thing is that it is no longer visible. sensual pleasures of the heavens. The previous life of God Emperor Thich and his wives In the original Kulāvākā, the Buddha recounted the following: Long ago, very long ago, in the country of Ma Kiet Da, the bodhisattva was born and raised in a small village called Macala bordering on Vuong Xa, his name was Magha. The young Magha was born with merit and wisdom, so he was like an angel who came down to life. He married with 4 wives, Sudhamma, Sunanadā, Sucitta and Sujāta, gave birth to children, did righteous occupations, kept the five precepts, taking good and good as a noble pleasure. That village was full of evil worlds, they often quarreled, beat, and cursed each other with weapons, knives, sticks or tongues. Their main occupation is hunting wild animals or pulling fish in nets. Some other unwholesome people steal pigs and chickens, eat and drink with wine, yeast, and cooking wine, and when they are full and drunk to death, there is no evil that they do not do, there is no precept that they do. do not commit. Then laughter and crying, groans and screams like a smoldering or bursting fire, raging like the agony of hell day after day, night after night. Magha lived among them like a lotus growing in the mud, pure and fragrant with both profession, virtue, and soul. He loved them, wanted to inspire them, but thought to himself: “Talking about morality and reason at this time, for them, is like water pouring down a duck's head. So, be patient, slowly, not with words, but with concrete actions both physically and mentally. When poverty, lamentation and pain come to them like a great flood, then we will take action." Since then, he and his wives and children have been diligent and dedicated to getting rich. What can be done is done. That is the hard work of cultivating fields, knitting, handicrafts, making carpentry pottery, builders... In the leisure time, he and his children go to the forest to collect famous wood from agarwood and agarwood and then make rafts to sell in the lowlands. Diligent, thrifty, thrifty, and willing, in a short time, he accumulated a great fortune. When each family lived in a dark, tattered, mosquito-stained, smelly, dirty hut, Magha had a large farm, crowded with people, with granaries and corn stores. beans, cloth store, firewood store, farm tools and equipment ... like a millionaire's property. The time has come, the village of Macala and the village next to it have a dispute over rights in the hunting forest, where the river is fishing. Macala village was compensated and fined, each family had to give up their property, followed by house fire, drought, and crop failure. They fell into a terrible famine along with the spreading disease, which filled the streets of people and animals with death. Magha has long had a plan, a backup, so she has stocked up on everything necessary for this danger. He called the whole village to come and distribute food, food, medicine, cloth... with a kind smile and an open heart. After the rescue, he gathered 30 young men representing the 30 most progressive families and taught them that: “Hey guys, I will save you and this whole village from the agony. Starting today, my family's food is your food. Let's go to the forest together. I know where there is precious wood, red dandelion, white dandelion, golden harp… And I also know where people buy them at very affordable prices. Just one trip like that, we can help the whole village out of danger. On the second trip, you have food in reserve. On the third trip, you have enough assets to take care of crops and gardens. Follow me, listen to me, let's conquer poverty together." Like meeting a lifebuoy, the whole village cheered and applauded, praising Magha without words. Then, just do it. Youth Magha also offers a full year plan. Four months to the forest to harvest wood, agarwood, honey, bamboo shoots, wood ear... Four months to take care of the fields and garden and fill the grain warehouse. The remaining four months are to build houses, roads, bridges, hospitals, unclean places to be buried… Magha said to 30 young men: “Hey guys! Listen to me, turn this poor village into the village of heaven." Thus, a vigorous and comprehensive movement on business, construction and renovation was discussed from the beginning of the village to the end of the village. The torches are lit all night. Joy ran through the caves and alleys. When there is enough food, enough clothing, and a little wealth, a few bad things appear, that is drinking, gambling, stealing, cursing and beating each other. Although he knew that Magha had not said anything, did not show any attitude, because he felt that it was not the right time. In the meantime, it is better to do than to say. Magha, wife and children are always at the forefront of social work. Magha's shadow always appeared first and last here and there. 30 young men declared absolute obedience to Magha, taking Magha as an example, as a lamp, as their eye. The village roads in turn are paved with rows of flowering, fragrant and shady trees. Public lakes are allowed to release lotus flowers, release guns, swim in schools of colored fish. The bridges are paved with stone or wood that cross the canals, the water banks have willows and bamboo shadows. A relatively large and spacious infirmary, fully equipped, medicine for the sick and sick. No more piles of garbage, dung dumps, puddles of garbage, stagnant, stinking. There is also an open-air cemetery for humans and animals. All the above works and works are done by the volunteers of the villagers, well preserved and well cared for. The other day, knowing that the time had come, he confided in 30 well-meaning young men: Hey guys! Why is it that with enough food and clothes, here and there, in our beloved village, there are still cries, scoldings, beatings, groans?". They do not know how to listen to the teachings of the "Chief", still voluntarily go to the forest to hunt animals, go down to the river to catch fish to earn money to play and drink. When drunk, it gives birth to all other evils such as stealing, beating, cursing, misbehaving… hurting wives and children, destroying other people's families. So, is it reasonable that we, as human beings, should know how to keep the precepts of not killing, not stealing, not committing adultery, not lying, not using wine, yeast, or cooking? Very reasonable. Can you keep those five precepts? We'll try to keep it, Master. In this way, by pointing out such cause and effect, young Magha put the five precepts in mind for 30 exemplary young men. When the news was spread, the village head became afraid, thinking to himself: "In the past, when the villagers of this village killed, stole, committed adultery, misrepresented speech, and drank alcohol, I was given money. This is money for stealing goods, fines for alcohol, fines, compensation money, money for sacrifices, money for funerals, money for property disputes, real estate, money for reconciliation, money for lawsuits …There must be money in my wallet everywhere. Now, young Magha precepts them, puts the five precepts in their hearts, from thirty families will spread to forty, fifty... And because of that good reputation of Magha, of the group, it will soon spread. to the whole village. And what are the consequences? As a result, we will destroy assets and profits. So what do I do as village head?" Angry, angry, but with cunning, the village head was luggage, went to the palace gate to bribe the city's officials, went inside to bribe the court officials, so he was allowed to visit the supreme king. Dear God! (name of village head to submit). In the people's village of Macala, there was a big band of robbers, including 31 of them, including the oligarch. They destroy the village, destroy the village. They destroy the fun of the people. They make the temples and shrines empty and desolate. Not a single person on the river. Not a single person in the forest. Empty festivals, cult parties… Oh! What a fearsome bandit… When making such a report, the village head was wise enough to tell the real phenomenon when the king let the person investigate. However, the phenomenon is the same, but the nature and reality are different, always the same, as long as there is money, justice will change white to black immediately, it is easier than the tipping of a coin. Our king is a cold-blooded, shallow thinker, and when he heard this, he hastily said: Bring the soldiers, bring them all back here. So Magha and 30 young men were forced to tie their wings behind their backs, and were dragged to the imperial city. The king did not interrogate, did not investigate the matter, ordered the execution of the elephant to rub everything. While lying on the ground to receive the cruel execution, the young Magha taught: “Hey guys! Be calm, if indeed we are killed by elephant rubs, there is no escape from deep caves, deep forests. But if it weren't for that, then the king's violence and the strength of a thousand elephants wouldn't be able to do anything to us. Why? Because of the protection of kusala, we will be safe.” Watching to breathe each light breath, he calmly continued: "Hey guys! Practice precepts, build precepts. Be kind to the wicked, to those who slander me. Because of his compassion for the king, he lacked wisdom, so justice was clouded. Be kind to the ignorant elephants that are about to trample us. That loving-kindness must be generous, prolific, all-encompassing, pervading all sentient beings, and full of space. Let's all be cool and quiet. Let's all be cool and quiet." All 30 young people obeyed their words, calm and peaceful like a meditative forest. When the elephants approached, they froze as if meeting an invisible wall, they cowered, their tails stood up, stopped, roared, and turned to run away. Another group of elephants that came, too, failed to break through the wall of loving-kindness, turned around, and ran in panic. When the king heard the news, he went to the scene to see it, thinking to himself: "Perhaps they have a mark of "Longevity" in their bodies, so they have become "Immortal"?". He sent someone to search but found nothing. Think again: "Or do they read spells?" Ben said aloud: Hey robbers! Did you silently recite the spell to fight the death sentence? Magha understood everything, so he replied: Yes, yes, my lord. What spell is that? Read it up and listen to it. O God, listen, I will speak. These 30 young men and I do not kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery, do not lie, do not drink alcohol. We start from the same heart towards ourselves and sentient beings. We give alms, do good deeds, do public works such as building medical stations, building bridges, building roads, filling ponds and lakes, burying garbage pits, doing public sanitation works... That's the manta. our protection, our protection (parittāṇa), our conduct (vutti), our solid armor (vamma). The king was so surprised, he asked carefully. So the cunning village chief had to confess. The king was pleased, smiling happily at the good deeds of honest citizens. Order confiscation of property, property of the village head added to public property. Engraved on his forehead, he was exiled to be a slave for life. And Magha was given a herd of elephants by the king, the right to own the whole village with power, prestige, fame ... was stamped with goodwill in everyone's hearts. Since then, Magha and 30 young men have been free and secure to do meritorious deeds, the public good is protected and praised by the king and generous and generous subsidies. The other day, Magha and 30 young people started to build a large meeting hall in an empty lot, near the crossroads, the center of the village. They discussed among themselves that women are often selfish, narrow-minded, often gather to talk in vain, talk a lot, talk nonsense, show off their hair, show off their skin, show off their clothes, show off their breasts, and be jealous. …easily create troubles and disturbances, so it was decided not to let them contribute merit. Sudhamma, Magha's chief wife, who was wise and delicate, brought some gold coins to the person in charge of architectural design, saying: Please help me, by all means, to give me the opportunity to contribute merit to this great cause. The master architect was respectful, did not accept gold, and agreed to help with the scheme. He made a pointed tower out of famous wood, carved it meticulously, dried it, rolled it up, and told Mrs. Sdhamma to hide it. When the multi-storey, multi-roof lecture hall was completed, it was time to place the spire, the architect pretended to be alarmed: Dead, friends! We forgot something important. What is this? Everyone asked excitedly. We forgot to make the spire at the top, what to do? UMBRELLA! Nothing. Can be done quickly. Not so. The master craftsman said The first is to have a wooden name to avoid cracking. Second, it must be dry wood, fresh wood will not match, open for a long time and water will seep in. Now it's going to rain, time is running out, what to do? Everyone fell silent. The architect then suggested: Dear gods, maybe somewhere in this village, there might be a beautiful, well-fitting, tightly-printed pointed tower made a long time ago with the name of a lucky charm for our lecture hall? Oh! There are so many houses with pointed roofs and pointed towers. People scattered throughout the village searching. To their surprise, they found that Mrs. Sudhamma had a very nice one in stock, just up to the required standard. They asked to buy but she did not sell, she said: Money is not enough to sustain us from life to life. Now, my husband's merit is too great, if I lack merit, how can I hope to see him again in the next life? So, let me contribute some merit, I don't need your mountain of money or silver. Let me be a part of it. It's puzzling. If a woman is allowed to interfere, it will break the initial commitment even though it is the chief wife of the "senior monk". Magha respects the common opinion and does not interrupt. The architect then showed his eloquence: Why are you so stubborn? Only in the heavenly realm would there be no women. Have you been a blasphemer, yet you've done so. Why don't you recognize the fact that it is women in this world who bring love, joy and happiness to us. They are what motivates us to work. They suffer to give birth to children and nurture them to have a so-called future. Moreover, the heavens and the goddesses are the flowers, the music, the cups of heavenly wine, the master of all games, the endless pleasure. If there were no women, who would you live with? Living in the middle of a desolate desert with cacti, with retiring animals with their stubbornness, complacency, and self-righteousness? Everyone listened, sweating, no one could argue a word. The master worker continued: Please give up that notion, even though it has been committed. Put an end to that conceited discriminatory mind. Let's take the tower so that Mrs. Sudhamma has the opportunity to contribute merit before it is too late. And in my opinion, let's welcome all the women in the village to come and take care of the rest. Everyone is weak. The final decision was Magha, who smiled and said: This is a ruse, but it is worthy of rejoicing. You guys. The strong, eloquent argument based on the truth of the master craftsman is probably told by the gods and gods, no one can object. Who are we, to dare to close the door of heaven to prevent women from entering? So the roof of the pointed tower was put up, fitting tightly and beautifully. The women in the village, after hearing "open the door", they rushed to contribute money and then happily, happily sang, laughed and danced... making the previously quiet space seem lively. , much younger. While the whole village, everyone has their own job, especially, in the herd of elephants the king donated, there is a queen elephant named Iravaṇṇa who has very high awareness, is very zealous, diligent in serving, transporting people or materials. , any day or night, far or near. Everyone considers this elephant as a friend, as a friend, as a deity. Before long, an extremely grand scale was completed. In the lecture hall, there are full round tables and chairs, short and long of all kinds. Place fresh water pots in the corridors. Around the lecture hall, they built more inns for people who missed their steps, rest stations for merchants, and even children to herd cattle. There are enough dining rooms, bathrooms, toilets, and garbage dumps everywhere. In addition, the long surrounding walls are fitted with square doors, wide round doors. White gravel roads. Rows of sala trees, bamboo, mulberry, cool green tropical plants. In each shaded place, Magha ordered square, beautiful stones for people to sit and play. Lady Sunandā, Magha's second wife, wanting more blessings than Sudhamma, set out to make lakes and streams. The deep blue lake sparkles with stars, blooming with lotus flowers and water lilies of all colors. Streams around the smooth green grass, deep places, shallow places, in the loose, all kinds of beautiful fish lazily idly back and forth. The white stone bridges are drooping and drooping, looking as poetic as the land of the future. Miss Sucitta, Magha's third wife, could not be less than her sister and started a beautiful park. There are green lawns. There are carpets of leaves of many different shapes and colors. There are rocks of different types, white, yellow, black, and red stones standing out in the middle of the immense green background. Hundreds of fruit trees, ornamental plants, flower trees, flower gardens... yellow leaves, purple leaves, red leaves are fragrant. No tree is nameless. There is no line that is not playful, eye-catching, full of art. As for Sujātā, Magha's fourth wife, the most beautiful and charming young woman, she was lazy, refusing to contribute anything to the great work mentioned above. All day, I keep looking at my beauty, going back and forth, applying makeup, changing clothes... Still eating this food, drinking that food to look forward to being young and beautiful forever. She loved Sujātā very much, but Magha could not advise her, only quietly sighing. With such merit, such causes and conditions, at the end of life many villagers with meritorious deeds were reborn in heaven. Particularly young Magha reincarnated as the king of heaven, Emperor Thich, governing 33 palaces. Inside: Due to the merit of making the synagogue up here, the temple Vejayañta can be flown by the god of chariot Matāli. 30 luxurious palaces are the blessings of 30 young men and their families. Three beautiful and magnificent stupas are part of the three wives of Shakyamuni, Sudhamma, Sunandā and Sucitta. As for the fourth wife, the beautiful Sujātā, she refused to be complicated, did not know where she was born, and where she fell. In addition (see the realm above) The architect was born as a son of many blessings, so he was named Vessakamma. The queen elephant with the merit of being born as a heavenly son is called Iravaṇṇa. Because there are many cool trees planted, in heaven there is a great longevity tree named Parichattaka. Because of placing the rocks under the shaded tree, Emperor Shakyamuni had a stone throne named Paṇḍukambala. Because Ms. Sudhamma contributed to the spire, there was a palace named Sudhammadevā Sabhā up here. Because Ms. Sunandā developed the mind to make lakes and streams, this heaven was returned to a more wonderful lake, which is Sunandā Pokkharanī lake. Because Mrs. Sucitta made a park, she came up here to have a more wonderful royal garden, named Sucittalatā. Thus, it is clear that every cause and effect is very clear, not wrong. The story of heavenly wine and heavenly Atula realm The celestial atula has a realm of its own, which is the abode of a more blessed type of sentient being than the human realm[13]. Before Shakyamuni was not born here, this realm was the realm of King Atula and the Atula gods. The other day, how surprised the Atulas were when they saw that right in the center of the realm, suddenly appeared many magnificent palaces, more magnificent, noble and precious than their own palaces. Then enter the royal garden, the ponds and lakes, the trees, the exotic flowers, everywhere are beautiful, fragrant and spectacular. At first, they thought they were "kinds of gods" so they were ready to welcome the new inhabitants, but when they saw that they weren't, they were much taller and more beautiful than Atula. Note [13] (1) Atula earth loses to the human realm Emperor Thich was equally surprised to see that outside his realm there was another inhabitant, who were also gods, but the stars looked unfaithful in their clothes and face. He felt insecure. The other day, while walking in the Sucittalatā royal garden, I discovered a strange, strangely large tree with ripe berries, dangling thousands of fruits. Emperor Thich told the deity to follow and try to pick one fruit. As soon as he took a small bite, he felt sweet, delicious, fleshy, fat, drunk again, pleasantly ecstatic... Heavenly Lord, beware - The God of Heaven - In the past, there were more than 10 gods, eating the whole fruit and never regained consciousness. Is that so? Yes, the gods call it drunken tree, drunken fruit. Hearing this, Emperor Thich ordered the gods not to eat the drunken fruit anymore. Remembering that incident, Emperor Thich devised a plan. He set up a big party at the center of the palace, presented all kinds of delicious foods, especially drunken fruit, to invite Atula King named Vepacitta Asurina and Atula gods to share. King Atula laughed, happily and satiated. And indeed, when they touched the drunken fruit, they ate voraciously and then lay down drunk. Seeing that the Atula assembly no longer knew what the moon and sky were, Emperor Shakyamuni said to the gods: We cannot live with them. Below this Sineru peak there is a realm. Maybe we should settle them there. Then, Emperor Shakyamuni ordered the strong warrior gods to throw them down one by one. Who would have thought that, due to the protection of blessings, a new realm, there was a large and spacious palace named Asuravimāna to support them right away. Waking up, King Atula was angry, opened a war, attacked Emperor Thich determined to reclaim the land of the realm. The Heavenly Dao Loi who are slender, elegant, have fun, and do not know how to fight. Seeing their aggressive stance with knives, swords, bows and crossbows, their strange and terrifying weapons Atula the gods ran away. Emperor Thich also ran. He and his three wives, a number of great gods, climbed into the Vejayañta with the chariot god Matāli rushing away with incredible speed, escaping the encirclement of Atula. Glide through the air, through the forest, the car seemed to have no obstacles. Matali says: We have gone too far, to a certain realm, my lord. Is there a sound, falling... is that so, Matāli? Our car passed through the forest like a cut, so thousands of thousands of silken tree trunks were broken, severed and fell into the sea. This is the land of the Golden Squirrel. Their nests were scattered, countless mother birds, father birds, baby birds were killed, cut, thrown, dropped... like in a storm, it looked very tragic. Hearing this, Emperor Thich was cold all over, both pitying, regretful and compassionate, immediately turned the car back, and had to surrender his life to King Atula. It is not possible to find life in the death of innocent beings. When walking, Emperor likes to go in one direction, when returning to Emperor Thich, goes in another direction. King Atula and warrior Atula were intoxicated with victory and were also fainting, tasting the drunkenness of their mental instability, and saw the return of Shakyamuni with a calm and free expression, thinking: "Surely the Emperors from the world other or news to reinforcements. When they run away, they hide this way, when they come back, they go this way. So it's clear we're under siege, there's no doubt about it." Because of such reasoning, the Atulas fled like a flock of ants breaking a nest, in an instant there was no longer a rainbow, and weapons of all kinds were scattered. Emperor Shakyamuni entered the city with the gods surrounded. In that moment, the earth cracked and the earthly boundary of the heavenly kingdom rose to a height of 1000 yojana. The Lord of God stood contemplating the strange blessings, thinking to himself: "Perhaps this is benevolence, yielding to them Atula, not fighting with the wicked, also out of benevolence, would rather surrender one's life to the evil master. better than killing the Golden Squirrel forest." Therefore, Emperor Shakyamuni has a mind that is not retarded with kusala dhammas. From there on the edge of the realm, he ordered the protection of the Golden ostrich. In the area of responsibility, he sought the safety of the Nāga, the Kumbhandā, and even the Yaksha and the Ganesha in the four realms of heavenly kings. And from now on, the kingdom of heaven is completely peaceful because the Atula world is too far away, no longer afraid of their harassment. However, in order to prevent any contingencies, Atula's unpredictable mind set up five types of troops to protect the places. The four gates of the heavens turned into a giant statue of Emperor Thich, standing majestically, holding a shining golden sword day and night, and the Four Heavenly Kings were always ready to be present, to follow as well as to fight. On the surface of the ocean and other places, there are gods and warriors, the armies of Yakka, Kumbhaṇḍa, and Eagles (Grudha). And indeed, this precaution is not in vain. Because Atula king from time to time longed for the wine of the sky (drunk fruit), he wanted to send his army to fight. But every time the scouts returned, they reported that there was a guarded place everywhere. Again, at the four gates of heaven, every door, they always met Mr. De Thich holding a sword and killing intent, so they were afraid to run away. Seeing that it was settled somewhere, it was time, Emperor Thich saw it was time to save Sujātā, the little wife, and lack of merit should not be born in the same family to enjoy the results. The spectacular transformation of Sujātā (the beautiful youngest wife of Shakyamuni) While everyone was happily reunited in the heavenly world, unfortunately, the beautiful wife Sujātā of Emperor Thich was born as a crane girl in the deep forest. Parents died, Crane lived alone, cold, no friends, no joy. The other day, in the bright sunlight, the crane girl, standing on a tree branch, was pruning her wings when suddenly a bright light appeared in front of her, a strangely beautiful and noble young crane appeared. The other man, with his deep, deep, round, amorous blue eyes, his curved beak shining with phosphorescence, and his strong, energetic legs. I want to come and befriend you, beautiful crane princess. The crane girl was so shy, she closed her wings and hid her wet eyes behind a tree branch. Will you go, Sujātā, the crane princess? Come with me to see a glorious landscape. That young crane is the incarnation of Emperor Thich. After using the divine eye, he saw that Sujātā, due to lack of merit, was reborn as a crane in this forest, so he had to find a way to save him. Then, with his divine power, De Thich gently took the crane girl to fly through the hazy clouds to the Dao Loi heaven. After letting the crane girl look at 33 brilliant palaces with men and women dressed in splendid and luxurious colors, having fun here and there, De Thich stood on a top of the palace, whispering loudly. as small as pouring into the ear, recounting to the crane girl the predestined cause and effect, how the past life and the next life are related. Then he advised the crane girl to live a good life, keep the five precepts, and later, thanks to her blessings, help her fall into this heaven to reunite with the old predestined conditions. After saying that, as if to believe, the Crane suddenly flew up to the blue clouds and turned into Emperor Thich Thien, the master of heaven. shining crown, seven-treasure robe, resplendent majesty, sitting in the middle of nowhere looking at the crane girl, smiling. After a while, seeing the crane girl shyly nodding her head, Emperor Thich was satisfied and used divine power to bring the crane girl back to the deep forest. Crane wakes up from a dream, shocked to remember everything that happened in his previous life. Everyone has merit, but she does not. Everyone is reunited and reunited in the heavenly paradise, and she has an ugly and unlucky bird body. Just have to practice, resolutely keep the precepts in order to hope for a future life with the love of husband and wife. Start from there. Cranes do not eat living beings, and are not used to eating leaves and seeds, so cranes become weak very quickly. A few weeks later, Hac was exhausted and collapsed by the stream. Forest dew and mountain wind awakened the crane. Tired, lethargic, Crane dragged a few steps. A little spring water makes Hac more alert. And oh my! There was a fatty fish lying on its golden belly. It's dead! Those are just the four greats. It will give you vitality and life. While holding the fish in its lovely beak, Crane heard the fish's body vibrate and curled its tail. Panicked and like a pure reflex in the mind with the precept to not kill, the crane released the fish, worshiping the god. The crane did not forget to use its beak to push the fish into the water. It is better to die than to decide not to kill. Even though hunger oppresses and torments us, we endure patiently in order to benefit and progress in our lives. Suddenly, Hac's eyes lit up. The silver fish from the stream bed, suddenly slashed the water with a spectacular flight, soared into the air like a streak of glass, appearing as Emperor Thich Thien, sitting in the middle of a bright cloud. Good thing, dear Sujātā – Says the Emperor – She has precepts in her heart. She knew how to listen to me. In fact, just a blink of an eye is a fleeting crane life. Be patient, conquer lust and the belly, and then she will reunite with me in the glorious paradise. Sujātā thanks to the precepts to protect and support her, but because she did not have enough merit, she ended her life as a crane and was reborn as a daughter in a poor family in Ba La Nien. From the summit of Sineru, thanks to the divine eye, Emperor Thich knew the place of her birth. That hot summer, De Thich transformed into an old man pushing a cart full of ripe yellow cucumbers into the city. The old man selling cucumbers said a strange sentence. Who needs melon, come get it. Whoever has precepts, come and get cucumbers. The ripe yellow cucumber color is very pleasing to the eye, and when you see it, you want to eat it right away. It's a rare commodity in the middle of the dry season with burning skin and dry throat. People jostled and everyone fought for what they wanted to buy. The old man shouted: Who are you? Do you have gender? I only give cucumbers to people with sex. Everyone said: I don't know if the gender has a black face or a red face, like I have money. I am willing to pay the highest price. Let's go! The old peddler waved his hand away – I don't need money. What good is money? This melon, I only give not to people with precepts. With the strength of the god's divine power, the old man's thin arms were like a solid belt protecting the cucumber cart. The crowd seemed to hit a copper wall and an iron wall, drifting away. Everyone thought the old man was crazy. People gradually moved away from each other. The old man's voice was hoarse, echoing from street to street, from building to block. All the people of Ba La Complaint did not understand the reason why they kept listening to the sound of the old man selling cucumbers resounding in their ears. Even the deaf and ignorant that day heard very clearly: "Whoever has precepts, I will give away cucumbers. Whoever has precepts, I will give away a car of cucumbers." The cry reached the poor girl's ears and her heart fluttered. The past subconscious mind returned vaguely. She knows gender, thinks about it, gets used to it like a close friend who has been away for a long time and meets again. The girl went out into the street and walked through the crowd. Grandpa! I know gender, I have gender. Give me cucumbers. The old man smiled wryly, looked at the poor girl and asked: No one in this country knows what precepts are, why does she know? Grandpa, I know from the past. So, what's gender, girl? It is to keep evil things, sir! So that's right! So good! The old man laughed ha ha- Hey little girl, please keep the five precepts, girl! Then Emperor Thich handed the whole truck of cucumbers to the girl, saying only to her: This isn't a cucumber, it's a car of pure gold. Use wealth to support your life, take care of your aging parents, remember to accumulate more merit such as giving, doing good deeds useful to everyone. The girl obeyed her word, kept the precepts pure, made offerings to the Taoists, gave alms to the poor, built blessing stations, and provided care for the poor for the rest of her life. At the end of her life span, the girl was reborn as a princess of the heavenly Atula realm, with aristocratic, gentle beauty, and a pure yellow skin, brilliant but smooth due to the fruit of keeping the precepts for two consecutive lives. . When she reached adulthood, King Atula gave her the freedom to pick a husband. Princes from all over the Atula realms came to attend, hoping to catch the beauty's blue eyes. Emperor Thich knew the story, prepared the set, disguised himself as an Atula prince who looked extremely proud, handsome, and extremely beautiful... Among them, Prince Atula, Emperor Thich Phuong, was as noble as a phoenix. . Seeing Emperor Shakyamuni, Princess Atula's heart fluttered and fluttered due to the string of attachment, due to her ability to live and love in her previous life (Pubbesannivāsa), she chose Emperor Thich as her husband amidst countless cheers and praises. of the gods and Atula co-admired. Emperor Thich presented his father-in-law, embodying the dignified and powerful body of a supreme heavenly master. He respectfully and calmly explained to King Atula clearly the causes, conditions, and results in his lifetimes. Now he wanted to establish a friendly relationship between the two countries. At first King Atula (Vepacitta Asurina) was furious, then seeing his daughter was brilliant and happy, thinking that, even though he was a noble king of heaven, but had humbled himself as a son-in-law, there was no reason to be stubborn and make a match. enmity? Something to be proud of is different. Ben laughed. Emperor Likes! Ha ha! After all, you are my son-in-law! Haha. Emperor Shakyamuni smiled humbly and happily, sent his subordinates to offer drunken fruit, some precious gifts that the Atula realm could not have, and then bowed to King Atula as his father-in-law. Returning to the Dao Loi heaven, Emperor Thich gave Lord Atula a magnificent palace, placing her in the second position, surrounded by two thousand five hundred thousand heavenly maidens. So, thanks to his love and loyalty, Emperor Thich had 4 wives with him in the love relationship hidden behind the fragrance of the magic.
