Reincarnated in the present Buddha's time in Sàvatthi in a Brahmin family, he was named Belatthakàni. After listening to the Buddha's lecture, he left home and practiced meditation in a forest in Kosala. But he is very lazy and often speaks harsh words, so his mind is not righteous to practice, the Buddha knows his mature meditation, encouraging him with the following verse:

101. Renunciation of lay life,

Responsibility is not done,

Using your mouth as a plow,

Satiety, indolence,

Like a big pig,

The food is full,

The sluggish is constantly,

Go to the womb.

As he saw the deity in front of him, he felt very emotional when listening to this verse and carrying out meditation.
