This is how I hear.
One time the Buddha was in Rajagaha, Mount Gijjhakuta, when Devadatta left the monastery to leave soon. Here, on the occasion of the Devadatta, the Blessed One calls the monks and teaches:
- Here, the monks, there are good men by virtue of renunciation, abandon family, live without family: "I am immersed in birth, aging, death, sorrow, sadness, suffering the brain, which is engulfed in suffering, is subjected to suffering. He is so worthy, honor, reputation. By virtue, honor, reputation, he is happy, satisfied. By virtue, honor, reputation, he complimented himself, repulsed: "I was so rewarded, so fame, and other monks are less known, less authority." He, for the sake of respect, honor, this reputation, became passionate, craving, released. Because of his life, he is suffering.
Bhikkhus, like a person who wants to be the core of a tree, looking for the core of a tree. While looking for the core, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, he bypasses the tree, bypasses the tree, bypasses the inner shell, bypasses the outer shell, Think of that as the core of the tree. Someone with eye contact said: "Actually this person does not know the tree, do not know the tree, do not know the inner shell, do not know the outer shell, do not know the branches. While looking for a tree, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, the person ignores the tree's core, bypasses the tree, bypasses the inner shell, bypasses the shell, cuts the leaves, takes them away. I thought it was a tree, and this person did not reach the goal that the tree could accomplish. " Likewise, here, here, the monks, who are good men for the faith, renounce the family, live without family: "We are immersed in birth, old age, death, sorrow, sadness, suffering, suffering, suffering, suffering, suffering." He is so worthy, honor, reputation. By virtue, honor, reputation, he is happy, complacent. By virtue, honor, fame, he praised himself, reproach: "I was so lavish, so fame, And other monks are less known, less authority." He is for the sake of reverence, reverence, fame, become enchanted, craving, ambitious. Because of his life, he is suffering. Bhikkhu-bhikkhu is called the person who took the branch of virtue, so he stopped (here). be rewarded, honored, honored. Bhikkhu-bhikkhu is called the person who took the branch of virtue, so he stopped (here). to take a break Because of his life, he is suffering. Bhikkhu-bhikkhu is called the person who took the branch of virtue, so he stopped (here). to take a break Because of his life, he is suffering. Bhikkhu-bhikkhu is called the person who took the branch of virtue, so he stopped (here).
But here, this monks, there are good monk son of faith, renounce the family, live without family: "I am immersed in birth, aging, death, sorrow, sadness, suffering the brain, which is engulfed in suffering, is governed by suffering. Then he went home, be rewarded, revered, fame. He is not for the sake of reverence, respect, this reputation compliments himself, repulses. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, this reputation became passionate, craving, liberating. By living without liberation, he achieved virtue. By virtue of this virtue, he is happy, complacent. By virtue of this virtue, he praised himself: "I am the morality, according to the good. Other monks break the precepts, according to evil." By virtue of this virtue, he becomes passionate, craving, and liberating. Due to the distance,
Bhikkhus, like a person who wants to be the core of a tree, looking for the core of a tree. While looking for a tree, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, he bypasses the tree, bypassing the tree, bypassing the inner shell, cutting the outer shell, taking it away, . Someone with eye contact said: "Actually this person does not know the tree, do not know the tree, do not know the inner shell, do not know the outer shell, do not know the branches. While looking for a tree, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree, this person ignores the tree's core, bypassing the tree, bypassing the inner shell, cutting the outer shell, taking it away, thinking it's the core. And this person does not reach the goal that the tree core can accomplish. " Likewise, these monks, here, monks for the renunciation of faith, renounce their families, live without family ... (As above) ... By virtue of this virtue, he becomes passionate, craving, and devout. Because of his life, he is suffering. Bhikkhu-bhikkhus, bhikkhu is called the grasp of the cover of the virtues. And so, he stopped (here).
But here, here, the monks, there are good Sam son of faith, renounce family, live without family: "I was immersed in the cycle of birth, aging, death, sorrow, The brain, sunk in suffering, is governed by suffering. Then he went home, be rewarded, revered, fame. He is not for sustenance, reverence, fame, praise, criticism. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, this reputation became passionate, craving, liberating. By living without liberation, he achieved virtue. By virtue of this virtue, he is happy, but not complacent. By virtue of this virtue, he does not praise himself or criticize. By virtue of this virtue, he does not become enamored, craving, and devout. By living without liberation, he achieves meditation. Due to this meditation accomplishment, he is happy, complacent. Because of this attainment of meditation, he praises himself: "I have one-pointed meditation. Other monks do not meditate, the mind is scattered." Due to this meditation achievement, he becomes passionate, craving, and devout. Because of his life, he is suffering.
Bhikkhus, like a person who wants to be the core of a tree, looking for the core of a tree. While searching for a tree, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, he ignored the tree's core, bypassed the tree, cut the inside, took it away, thought it was the tree. One who has eyes to see, said: "Actually this person does not know the tree core, do not know the tree, do not know the inner shell, do not know the outer shell, do not know the branches. While searching for a tree, in front of a large tree with a tree core, the person ignores the tree's core, bypasses the tree, cuts it in, takes it, thinks it's a tree, and does not reach its purpose. the tree can be accomplished. " Likewise, these monks, here monks for the renunciation of faith, renounce the family, live without family ... (As above) ... Because of this meditation achievement, he became passionate, craving, excitement. Because of life, he is suffering. Bhikkhu, so he is called bhikkhu who holds the inner shell of the virtuous. And so, he stopped (here).
Again, here, there are good men, because of faith, renounce family, live without family: "I was immersed in the cycle of birth, aging, death, sorrows, suffering, suffering, Being distressed in suffering, disturbed by suffering, it is possible that the whole aggregate of suffering can be stopped. " He is so worthy, honor, reputation. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, honor this happy, complacent. He is not for sustenance, reverence, fame, praise, criticism. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, this reputation became passionate, craving, liberating. By living without liberation, he achieved virtue.By virtue of virtue, he is happy, but not complacent. He is not praised for this virtue of praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of virtue became passionate, craving, liberation. Without living, he achieved meditation. He achieved this meditation so happy but not complacent. He does not accomplish this meditation compliments himself, repulses. He is not accomplished. This meditation becomes enchanted, craving, liberating. Due to his lack of liberation, he achieved knowledge, because he knows this, happy, complacent. He is aware of this opinion, complimented, criticized. "I live, see and know. Other bhikkhus live, do not see and do not know." He, due to this knowledge, becomes passionate, craving, loose. Due to his distress he is distressed.cheeky "I live, see and know. Other bhikkhus live, do not see and do not know." He, due to this knowledge, becomes passionate, craving, loose. Due to his distress he is distressed. cheeky "I live, see and know. Other bhikkhus live, do not see and do not know." He, due to this knowledge, becomes passionate, craving, loose. Due to his distress he is distressed.
Bhikkhus, like a person who wants to be the core of a tree, looking for the core of a tree. While looking for the core, in front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, people ignore the tree, cut trees to take away, thought it was the tree. Someone with eye contact said: "Actually this person does not know the tree, do not know the tree, do not know the inner shell, do not know the outer shell, do not know the branches. In front of a large tree, standing upright, with a tree core, he bypasses the tree, pulls the tree and carries it, thinking it's a tree, and he does not reach the goal that the tree can accomplish. So here, monks, here, there are good men, because of the renunciation faith, abandoned family, living without family ... This person, because this insight should be passionate, craving, Because of the abundance of life, he is distressed, bhikkhus, So this is called the holding of the tree of virtue. And so, he stopped (here).
Again, here, here, monks, there is the son of samsara, because of faith in renunciation, abandoned family, living without family: "I was sunk in the cycle of birth, aging, death, sorrow, suffering, goodness, brains, being in pain, suffering by suffering. He is so worthy, honor, reputation. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, honor this happy, complacent. He is not for the sake of reverence, respect, this reputation compliments himself, repulses. He is not for the sake of reverence, reverence, this reputation became passionate, craving, liberating. By living without liberation, he achieved virtue. By virtue of virtue, he is happy but not complacent. He is not praised for this virtue of praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of virtue became passionate, craving, liberation. Do not live by distance, he achieved meditation, he achieved this meditation, happy but not complacent. He does not accomplish this meditation compliments himself, repulses. He did not accomplish this meditation became intoxication, craving, liberation. By living without liberation, he accomplishes knowledge. Because of this achievement of knowledge, he is happy but not complacent. He is not because of this achievement of self-praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of knowledge becomes passionate, craving, and loose. By living without liberation, he attains liberation-free time. O bhikkhus, this situation can not happen, bhikkhu can leave the non-liberation time. ambitious. By living without liberation, he accomplishes knowledge. Because of this achievement of knowledge, he is happy but not complacent. He is not because of this achievement of self-praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of knowledge becomes passionate, craving, and loose.By living without liberation, he attains liberation-free time. O bhikkhus, this situation can not happen, bhikkhu can leave the non-liberation time. ambitious. By living without liberation, he accomplishes knowledge. Because of this achievement of knowledge, he is happy but not complacent. He is not because of this achievement of self-praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of knowledge becomes passionate, craving, and loose. By living without liberation, he attains liberation-free time. O bhikkhus, this situation can not happen, bhikkhu can leave the non-liberation time.
Be bhikkhus, such as a person who wants to be the core of the tree, seeking the core of the tree. While looking for the tree, in front of a large tree, standing straight, with a tree, he cut the tree, took it and knew it was the tree. One who has such an eye, can say, "This person knows the core, knows the tree, knows the inner shell, knows the outer shell, knows the branches, and wants to be the core of the tree, looking for the core of the tree. Look at the tree, in front of a large tree, straight up, with a tree, cut the tree, take it and know it's the tree, and that person can achieve the purpose the tree can do. "Likewise, these monks, here is a samadhi, because of the renunciation of faith, leaving family, living without family: "I am sunk in birth, old, dead, sorrow, sadness, suffering, the brain, which is engulfed in suffering, is dominated by suffering. Do not live by distance. He achieved virtue. He is happy by virtue of this virtue, but not complacent. He is not due to this virtue of praise and criticism, criticism. He is not due to the achievement of this virtue became passionate, craving, loose. Without living, he achieved meditation. He is due to the achievement of meditation should be happy but not complacent. He does not accomplish this meditation compliments himself, repulses. He is not due to this achievement of meditation becomes passionate, craving, liberation. By living without liberation, he accomplishes knowledge. He because of this achievement of knowledge should be happy but not complacent. He is not because of this achievement of self-praise, criticism. He is not because of this achievement of knowledge becomes passionate, craving, and loose. By living without liberation, he attains liberation without time. This bhikkhu, this situation can not happen, bhikkhu can leave the non-time liberation.
Thus, these monks, this virtue is not for the sake of good, for profit, for fame, not for the benefit of virtue achievement, not for the benefit of the achievement of meditation, not for the benefit of the tri ant. And this is the goal of this doctrine, the essence of liberation, which is the root of the tree, the ultimate goal of virtue.
The Buddha preached so. The rate of bhikkhus prays, the teachings of the Buddha taught.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/12/2018.
