BUDDHA'S MILITARY.
The power of the Buddha is the greatest and most pure power that can exist, but it is not omnipotent.
All-encompassing, but omnipotent.
If there is one who can say all-powerful, he is capable of doing all he wants. In other words, an all-powerful one can kick the earth to heaven like a ball. That way, he can also eliminate all the afflictions and sufferings of this planet in a flash if he wants to. But the Buddha did not have this self-power. He was never too proud to have that power. Although many other religions have given their god so. It is enough to show that total omnipotence and compassion can not exist in the same being at the same time.
An omnipotent and omniscient God can not have full compassion.Otherwise, his intentional creation of this world with all the consequences of suffering, sin, eternal hell became absurd and unexplainable. Consequently, his conscience and wise prophecy were only a joke.
The Buddha is not omnipotent.
He can not make anyone obey his will. He also can not do or accomplish something for a person. Because that is against the cause of cause and effect. The Buddha does not punish anyone or inflict on hell forever. A compassionate Buddha, perhaps never doing such a thing. If anyone goes to hell, it is he himself, he down, for the consequences of his own evil. In the Buddhist scriptures, it was never said that the Buddha would punish someone by sending him to hell if he disobeyed his will. On the contrary, the Buddhist spirit encourages people to go to hell, as the compassionate Bodhisattva said: "If we do not go to hell, who will go down to save the miserable beings under it?"
The holy power of the Buddha is the same as the sun, without which no herb can grow. But the growth of a tree does not depend entirely on the sun. Air, soil, water and, most importantly, seed, are needed. Air, land and water as well as individual efforts towards enlightenment. The seeds are as Buddha-like potential hidden in our minds. The combination of these different elements can achieve Buddhahood. Without any element in it, Buddhahood becomes far away from us. In short, the great power of the Buddha can help and provide favorable conditions for our spiritual development, not to do it all for us. Perhaps this is one of the main differences between Buddhism and other religions.
In Mahayana view, despite the great power of the Buddha does not include full power, it is not far from that. Mahayana Buddhism asserts that the great power of the Buddha is like the power available from the sun, which is infinite, but the benefits that one can draw from it depend entirely on the ability and effort of the Buddha. personal. With a small focus lens, you can gather enough heat from the sun to burn a match. With stronger lenses, you can harvest enough heat to warm the whole house. If all the power of god is understood in this light, then between Buddhism and other religions there is no harm.
Mahayana Buddhists believe that the different teachings of different religions are useful and necessary for different talents and perspectives. Some of these teachings may have the power to transform or seduce, in order to fit in with the immature consciousness of the masses. Some new ones are the ultimate teachings, which are appropriate only for our present evolutionary stage, for a minority of people with a high level of morality. But all religions have played their constructive role in promoting peace and development of the human spirit. From the perspective of a Buddhist, in the great family of divine teachings, there is only one difference between the doctrine of primordial and progressive doctrine, between the doctrine of power and the ultimate doctrine, not between correct doctrine and wrong doctrine.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/3/2018.
