When the Master came to Bao Lam pagoda in Thieu Chau, there was a History of Vi Cu along with officials and dignitaries who came to the mountain to invite him to the citadel, to the lecture hall of Dai Pham pagoda, because they were predestined to lecture. The monk was in court, Vi Thu historian and officials and dignitaries had more than thirty people, Confucian scholars with more than thirty people, and monks, nuns, religions, had more than a thousand people, and worked at the same time. ceremony, please listen to the Buddhist teachings.
Lecture:
Each set of sutras needs to complete six parts of achievement: Tin achievement, Van achievements, Time achievements, Owner achievements, Made achievements and They achievements. At the time of the Dharma opening, there must be all six types of accomplishment. The dharma assembly must have them, Su Shi Chau and the officials, monks and nuns, said they fit this condition. Mount Bao Lam is a sermon, so full of Achievement. The Great Patriarch was a Dharma Master, fully understood and understood the meaning of the sutta so that he was fully accomplished. "Time," is Time of achievement. "At the same time, to celebrate the ceremony," is Tin achievement. "Please hear the essence of Buddhism," is the Achievement Van.
At that time, Vi Cu and his acquaintances went to Bao Lam mountain to invite the Great Master to propagate the Dharma Ocean.
The Great Master said to them, "Buddhas of knowledge! This ancient Bodhicitta is inherently pure. Just use that mind to become a Buddha directly .
Chu Thien knowledge! listen to the legal action of this Hui Hui. "
Lecture:
The master said to the masses:
–You are good knowledge! Bodhi self-nature pure purity enlightenment, which is immortal being immortal, non-structurally impure, real increase or decrease. Should use this straight straightforward mind to become Buddha, do not use the mind of delusion.
Following that, the Great Master used his name, calling himself Hui Neng, saying:
–You listen to them! Now I will tell you how Hue Hui acquired the dharma.
Hue's side was originally from Pham Duong, and was demoted to Lanh Nam as a resident in Tan Chau District. This body was unfortunate, his father died soon, and an old, lonely mother had to move to Nam Hai district. The poor and bitter people had to go to the mountain to cut firewood and carry it to the market.
Lecture:
Hui Nang's father, originally from Pham Duong, Hebei Province, after the incident, was demoted and exiled to Lingnan, Guangdong Province. Because father to children are very strict education, so they are called "serious," and mothers often use love to care for their children so respect is "mother."
"Hue" means to use Dharma to give beings; "Power" means the ability to be a Buddha. Lu To surname Lu, Luc's father was demoted to Linh Nam - Tang dynasty was a deserted frontier land. His father, who was a mandarin, was exiled to Linh Nam because of sin. Hue Nang's life was very unfortunate, his father passed away when he was three or four years old, leaving his young son and widower. So the orphan widow had to move to Nam Hai district, tasting all the hardships and bitterness of life. In order to live, Hue Nang had to go to the mountain to carry firewood to the market, with the small amount of money earned daily to buy rice to feed Mother and to support herself.
At that time, a customer bought firewood, told Hue Nang to bring it to the store. The guest collected firewood. This Hui Nang received money, walked out the door and saw a guest chanting. Hui Nang heard this, the mind immediately enlightened.

Because of his poor family, Luc To did not go to school, so he was illiterate. China at that time wanted to go to school to pay tuition. But He did not know the words, but Tanh Tanh clever intelligence, just heard the text says: Ung headquarters, pediatric wondrous children immediately enlightened, and understand the realms so far never understood. At present, many people have heard the phrase: Ung is headless and gives birth to this wondrous child , but can anyone be enlightened? Someone said, "Oh! I'm enlightened!"
I asked him, what enlightenment he? What enlightenment is not declared? You should ask yourself.
What new guests chanting?
Guest answer: "Kinh Kim Cang."
Hui Neng again asked, "Where did you recite that sutta from?"
Guest: "I come here from Dong Thien Pagoda, Hoang Mai District, Ky Chau Province. That temple is presided over by the Five Great Patriarchs of Great Patriarch there. His disciple has over a thousand people. I have come to the temple. worship the ceremony and receive business. "

The Five Groups reside at Dong Thien Pagoda, educating them more than thousands of people. At that time, the Chinese studied Buddhism very flourishing, very enthusiastic, so there are more than a thousand people living in the same mountain studying Buddhism.
At present (in 1969), in the United States, what are the thousands of people living together studying Buddhism? Such a big country does not have one, but it is unlikely that later on there will be thousands of people studying Buddhism, which is not so sure. So you need to see my followers, what are the uses of them. Most Americans are very intelligent, but there are a few who are too smart, so it is said that "counterintelligence should be deluded." Every day from dawn till night, they only know how to take anesthetic medicine (LSD), because only by relying on medicine, they can reach a few strange little realms. These people repeatedly tried this poison, until they discovered it was no longer effective. They then thought:
- I took medicine for a long time, but I was not enlightened.
By the time they understand that taking medicine (LSD) is wrong, they will probably turn their heads and seek the truth. So say: "Boundless customs, at the beginning of the town."
Now I teach you the Buddha Dharma, in the future you will teach the dharma and educate sentient beings, so it should not be arbitrary, you should make effort to cultivate, you should not fascinate mistakes, so there will be a lot of Those who followed here came to study. If you study Luo Dan Kinh today , you need to know where to study. When someone asks you:
- Where did you learn Buddhism?
You can answer:
- We study Buddhism in Buddhism in the Teaching Hall of the Dharma Realm Buddhist Association.
This is the same as the meaning of the above passage.
"An engineer often advised the monks, who continue, if someone reciting the Diamond Sutra, then immediately see the nature, directly kill the Buddha."
This Hui Neng heard already, again because of his past life, he was helped by a guest to help him with ten pieces of silver, added to the health of the old mother, and taught through Hoang Mai district to worship Ngu To.

You need to know that "Great Teacher" here is only the Five Great Patriarchs, not the Sixth Patriarch. When he heard that there was a holy place, but now thousands of people are studying Buddhism together, he was very excited and asked his guests:
–What do I do? I really want to go there to study the Fa. When I heard him recite the Sutta , I understood the meaning of the Sutta and wanted to go to the dharma, but I still had an elderly mother who did not care for me, how can I handle this?
Because the Bodhisattva does not seek fame and fortune, so the Sixth Patriarch did not mention the Great Bodhisattva who came to help him now. The text simply says: Because of the past karmic affinity, one guest gave Hue Energy ten silver coins. This was a huge offering, because he cut down the wood to bring a few dong to the market. That is, even if Hui Neng sold thousands of days of firewood to save money, it could not be more than the amount of silver that the client gave.
He then used this money to buy clothes and food, to arrange accommodation for His Mother. Perhaps this person said to him,
- He is poor but wants to study Buddhism. I will help you now.
The guest gave him such a large sum of money to enable him to conveniently go and pray for dharma. The merit of this offering is very great, in the future this person is bound to be a bodhisattva body humiliation. Now maybe someone does that.
Someone asked:
–Do I have merit?
If you don't remember, that's okay, no need to be so deluded.
The guest urged him urgently:
–He had such great faith, just heard the text immediately enlightened, understood the meaning. Then hurry up! Please immediately go to Hoang Mai to see Ngu To, this is certainly helpful to him. Immediately hit the road, do not delay!
Hui Neng took care of the old mother and finished, immediately after going out, it took less than thirty days, to Hoang Mai district, and joined the Five Feast.
The Patriarch asked, "Who are you from, want to ask for a job?"
Hui Nang answered this: "The disciple is from Tan Chau district of Lanh Nam, far from here to bow to O Sensei, just pray to become Buddha, not pray for anything else!"
The Patriarch said, "You are a native of Lanh Nam, and you are like a barbarian, how can you become a Buddha!"
Hui Neng said: "Although people have a North and South, but Buddha nature is not South. This barbarous body with the Venerable Master is not the same, no Buddha nature is different!"
The Five Patriarchs also wanted to talk, but saw the disciples standing on both sides of the left, so they told Hue to follow them to work.
Hui Nang said: "Dear Venerable, the mind of the disciple often born of wisdom, not leaving the nature, that is, blessed, not even the Venerable Master taught to do what job?"
The Patriarch said, "The identity of this barbaric person is very clever. Do not speak again, go out later."
This Hui-neng came out later, there was a layperson who sent this Hui-ning to pound the wood.
After spending eight extra months, one day, the Founder saw this Hue energy, He said: "I think your knowledge can be used, but you are afraid of someone who will harm you, so you will not talk to you. know? "
Hui Neng said, "The disciple also understood Guru's idea, so he did not dare to go upstairs, so that others would not know."
Lecture:
Hui Neng immediately returned home, settled his mother's life in peace, and he left her. Not more than thirty days he went to the Temple of Zen Dong Song Phong. On the way, he did not start any illusions, just a straight line, so he did not know or did not know Hoang Mai, then came to worship the Five Patriarchs. At that time, the Great Patriarch was twenty-four years old.
Ngu To asked:
–Where are you from, where are you here to pray?
- A disciple from Tan Chau Linh Nam came here, I did not pray at all, just prayed to be a Buddha (Enlightenment). Other things are not important.
–You are a Lingnan, barbarians, how can you be a Buddha?
"Litter" is a small animal with a very short nose, almost like a dog. "Lao" is an uncivilized barbaric. Elder is the only type of people who do not know morality, not yet civilized, who belongs to animals.
Lu To immediately replied:
- Although there is a difference between the North and the South, the Buddha nature is often immortal and indistinguishable from the North to the South.
At that time, the Five Patriarchs were gathered beside him, so the Five Fathers stopped talking. He only briefly told Hue Nang that:
–Good, you have come here, hurry and follow the masses to work!
Hui Nang told the Five Patriarchs that:
-The mind is often self-borne wisdom, this wisdom from the nature born, not leaving the nature that is blessed. I don't know what kind of work the Master wants me to do?
(Phuc Dien is the type of merit planted in the field of Dharma Sangha Buddha. Again, monks' robes, sewn into pieces, symbolizing the blessing. If respectfully offered to the Three Jewels, ie the place where the root of merit is planted, after which the accomplishment will be a happy result).
The Founding Group heard Hue Nang say so, said:
–This barbaric character is very clever.
(Root: is the ability to hear [hear], credit, solution, feeling, maintenance of the Buddha Dharma of a human being.
The Five Patriarchs warned Hui Neng to be careful not to speak. He said:
–You shouldn't talk much, go behind the scenes to do the job.
In the back of the house, there was a practitioner who told Hue Nang to do this and that. Whenever in a new situation, often bullied by others. This disciple has not become a renunciate, so he is not polite, but he told Hue Nang:
- He has to cut wood every day to have firewood to cook rice, this is an ax, have to chop dry wood. Again, he had to pound rice every day (at that time, he had to use mortar to pound rice).
Just like that over eight months. One day, Ngu To saw Hue Nang pedaling rice, then said to Hue Nang:
–I think your wisdom and knowledge have a place to use, but worry about someone who hates you and starts to harm you, so intentionally doesn't talk much to you. Do you understand my suffering?
–I understand, so I did not dare to go to the dharma talk with the Venerable Master, to avoid others paying attention to my behavior as well as Master's concern and compassion for me.
One day, the Five Patriarchs told their disciples to gather, saying, "I tell them to the disciples: The waterfall of life of the people is great. miserable life in the sea of waterfall. If your own nature is ignorant, what blessing can be saved! "
Lecture:
One day the Five Great Masters gathered up all of them and told them:
- The most important thing in life is samsara, no matter how you have experienced the richness of glory, death inevitable. You need to know how to live is worth living and how to die is called worth dying. If you do not understand samsara, then this life can be said to be muddled up. The men are austerities, every day only know how to pray for mercy, but do not know wisdom, do not think of measures to escape samsara, go on reeling in the sea of birth and death. If your own nature is ignorant and only knows how to pray for merit, how can you rescue your own problem of life and death?
There is a sentence:
"Hue wisdom does not cultivate merit,
Arhat hugged the bowl.
Practicing blessed is not wise,
Like an elephant wearing a stray brother. "
The body of the elephant adorned with jewels and lost his touch is also a self-absorbed love, and blessed could not save them.
Come back, each of you to examine your own wisdom, to make a poignant disposition of your own Mind and to make a poem, and show it to me. If you understand the general idea, we will give medicine for that to make the sixth. Please go quickly, do not be late. If the mind to measure generosity, it will not be useful. People see nature, when listening to the dharma, they must see immediately. If so, then the sword in the middle of the battle to see nature. "
Lecture:
You guys, who contemplate your own true wisdom, need to find your true mind to find Prajñā Tanh, the righteous wisdom. Each one should make a poem to bring us to see ( Shelf is Sanskrit -gatha), translated as chanting, reciting include four words four sentences or five, six, seven, eight words are not certain). If you understand the righteous thoughts of wisdom, we will impart robes and transmit dharma for the sixth generation of Founder. You need to quickly make a shelf and bring it here for us to see, without delay. If using discriminative thinking to make shelves, then it is not useful, because the person who sees the Buddha nature has clear mind, listens to the dharma immediately understands. If you can do so, then you have a place to use, like a sword in the middle of three soldiers, you can immediately see your own nature. Ethics is the same.
The disciples, when they were ordered, left the field, shouting out to each other, saying, "We should not fiddle with our minds as shelves to present to the Venerable Master, for nothing! The Venerable Than Tu is now a teacher." Teachers, teachers can do it. We should not do it and waste energy. "
The general public heard reassuringly, and said that from now on, she would rely on Su Than Tu.
Lecture:
The public after listening to the Five Foundations instructed and taught, went back to the bureaucracy of each person, and said to each other,
–We don't need to shape our minds and think about shelves, because that will be a waste.
I believe that the people who say these words are on the same side as Than Tu, or perhaps their disciples, brothers, or relatives with Than Tu, preparing to invite Than Tu to become the sixth Party later.
- Again, we do not have much education, even if we do not choose the shelf, Venerable Than Tu is only a bit inferior to the Venerable Master, He is our Professor Teacher, teaching sermons to us. listen, he has a wide education, high morality, will definitely be found by our ancestors, even though we have wasted effort in making shelves, the verse is not worth it, it is just a waste of effort.
Others who heard that let go of the idea of being a shelf. If everyone does, fear that someone will win the Venerable Master of the Venerable Than Tu.
The multitude heard the disciples of Spirit Tu say so, told each other that:
- We will rely on him for food and clothing, and ask him to teach us how to practice - y only where he is. What do we need to do to make trouble?
The Spirit Master thought, "Those people did not show their shelves because they were teachers and their teachers. We have to make shelves and present them to the Venerable Master. It is good for us to show that it is good to pray for the dharma, and that it is bad to target the throne of the Patriarch, just like a mortal desires to win the Holy throne. hard, very hard! "

At that time, Spirit Tu thought:
–Everyone does not make a shelf, because I am their Teacher, I should in fact need to make a shelf, because of being polite, I have to be the first!
Spirit Tu also knows that no one has vied for the throne of the Founder with him, so no matter whether good or bad, nobody competes.
- I need to make a poem to the Venerable. If we don't do the shelf, how can the Venerable Master know our deep or shallow understanding of Buddhism, how to know if we have wisdom or not? If we use the intention of showing the shelves because of the legal sphere in Ngu To, it is good. But if you want to be a sixth-generation Founder, this is not true. If you want to be the Founder, if you want to do it, then this is like the psychology of ordinary mortals, wanting to fight over the saint, what's the difference? But if we don't make shelves, then what to do? In the end, we will not obtain the dharma, nor the Five Patriarchs will give it to us, because He has declared that, we must submit to the shelves in order to attain the Dharma. Oh, this is awkward for me!
Formerly, there were three corridors in the ancestral hall, and he planned to invite the Quan Phung patriarch Lu Tran to paint the variables in the Old Tomb (the Old Tomb of the Prime Minister) and the graph of the succession of the five masters. Blood vessel map) to pass on to the next generation of offerings.
Lecture:
At that time everyone had no greed, no longer wanted to be the Patriarch any more but wanted to yield to Than Tu, but Than Tu did not know how to make shelves, so He said, "It's too hard! Too hard!"
In the front of Ngu To street, there were three corridors, Ngu To which wished to invite Quan Phung and Lu Tran to paint the variable of Kinh Lang Gia and the Blood vessels of the five Patriarchs on the wall at this place. Ngu To wants to draw these paintings to pass on to the future people to admire the offering.
Cung Phung was an official at that time, regardless of who had any skills and forte, could enter the palace to work. The name of this official is Lu Tran, an intellectual position. He knew how to draw, and his paintings were very artistic, so he was in charge of Cung Phung's official at that time.

So Shakyamuni Buddha preached here, used magical power to fly to the top of the mountain, preaching to people with magical powers. "General variables" are inconceivable magical transformations. Five Founding blood vessels, that is, The Patriarch Patriarch came to the Great Patriarch Patriarch, continuously connected like a picture of blood circulation in the body.
Su Thần Tú finished the shelves several times and wanted to show them, but every time he arrived in front of the bureaucracy, he was panicked and sweaty all over himself, thinking he could not stand it. Before and after spending four days and thirteen days, he could not show the shelves.

At that time, the students of Than Tu were no longer greedy to be Ancestor, but Than Tu still did not give up his desire to be Ancestor, always wanted to be a sixth-generation Founder. Shen Tu originally thought that to be the Founder was not right, but he could not stop the thought of being the Founder.
Shelf has done, many times want to bring to the Venerable. But every time I go to the bureaucracy before the Five Great Patriarchs, I feel panicked and worried, about to go crazy, thinking:
- What should I do? Can we do it?
So the mind is startled, the perception is no longer clear, it seems right and wrong, worry about the whole body sweat, want to submit but do not dare. This is like a gamble, if you lose then you cannot do it. Just like that, going back and forth throughout the four days. This is very miserable, so being an Founder is not easy. After four long days of posting, Shen Tu has no time to sleep, all day standing restless, unable to sleep, cannot eat well, just because he is worried about how he can qualify through the gate. This master.
Shen Tu has come before the Fifth Patriarchs thirteen times, but still does not dare to show his shelves. Unlike now that I let you take the exam, you finish right away and submit it, because there is no such important cause. If I pass the exam and I can be a nest, I think your hands will tremble and write no answer.
Than Tu thought only by composing the verse on the corridor wall, if suddenly the Venerable Master saw and praised it, then I bowed to Him and said that the verse was Than Tu doing. By Him, the verse could not be used, so it took us a lot of years to live in the mountains, to receive the cult of the person, so what else do we cultivate?
That night came to the third, Than Tu did not let anyone know, took the lamp by himself, wrote a verse on the southern wall of the corridor, clearly showing the seeing place of his mind.
Lecture:
Then Great Spirit Spirit Tu calmed down, He thought to himself: "Should not be impatient, need to have some energy. If only we write shelves on the wall in the hallway, let the Five Patriarch see it for himself. If He praised the verse, then we will go out and pay homage to the Venerable Master, saying that this verse was made by ourselves. so many years, you're honored to worship. So I don't really have any virtue! "
At the third watch, or about twelve o'clock at night, Shen Tu held a small wax lamp, because if the light was too bright others would see it, sneaking to the southern corridor to write his verse on the wall, write down ethics that his mind possesses.
Shelf writing:
Regards Bodhi life,
Mind as the scene of the radio,
In times of waking,
Animals Whose bare.
Shelf that:
That Bodhi tree,
The mind is like a shining mirror
Always clean it,
Do not get caught in the dust.
Shen Tu wrote the verse, then went back to the room, no one knew. Than Tu thought: "If the Five Founders see the poem tomorrow and rejoice, that is, we have a predestined relationship with the Dharma. By saying that he cannot use it, because our mind is delirious, the karma of previous lives is still heavy, so we cannot keep up. the time when the dharma was obtained.
In the room, Shen Tu kept thinking, throughout the year watch the rest.
Lecture:
After copying the poem, Shen Tu immediately returned to his room without letting anyone know. Shen Tu thought again:
- Tomorrow, the Five Founders see the verse, if He is happy to show that we have a predestined relationship with the magic of the mind of the Buddha, thus having the network of the Founder. If the Fifth Patriarch says that the verse is not good, then we are not enlightened, the previous karma is too heavy, making us unable to obtain the mind-bending magic. Oh! The realm of the Five Realms is unbelievable, not being able to measure His will and use of mind!
Because of uncertainty, Than Tu was still anxious to recover, in his room, sitting still, not standing, not at peace, like that, enduring until morning.
The Five Patriarchs knew that before Tu Tu could not enter the door, he could not see his nature.
At dawn, the Great Patriarch Lu Cung Phung came and told him to paint the scene of the transformation and the aforementioned map on the south corridor. Seeing that verse, He said, "Hey Mandarin, it doesn't need to be painted. You worked so hard in the distance to come here. The Bible says: 'Every creature with an appearance is a lie.' So leave it to the person who recited it. Just follow that verse and practice, then don't fall into evil ways. If you follow that verse and practice, then there's great benefit. "
The Five Teachers taught their disciples to burn incense and respectfully, told all to recite that verse so that they could see their nature. The disciples chant the shelves all praise: "How rather!"
Lecture:
Ngu To Dai Su knew early that Than Tu was not enlightened, he had no true enlightenment.
At dawn, the Five Patriarchs invited the Phung Phung family to the south corridor to draw the changes of the Old Tomb and Five Tombs, suddenly seeing a verse on the wall.
- He does not need to draw anymore, keeping this verse here is a very interesting thing that can not be thought of, bothering him from afar without drawing. Kinh Kim Cang said: "It is absolutely necessary for the human being to be tangible and unrealistic. Now save this verse and let everyone recite it. If the people can follow this verse and practice, then can overcome the three evil paths, according to the morality of this verse and practice can benefit greatly. "
He then taught all the disciples lower incense and recite this verse. He said to them,
–You can follow this verse and practice spiritually, then you can be enlightened.
The general public followed the teachings of the Five Patriarchs respectfully recite. Everyone praised in unison:
–Or rather! Or rather!
When the third watch came, the Five Patriarch asked Than Tu to go inside and asked him, "Does that poem have you to do?"
Than Tu said, "It is true that I do it, but the disciple dares not pray to the Patriarch, only wants the Venerable Master to be compassionate and see if the disciple has any wisdom?"
The Patriarch said, "You have done that stanza, you have not seen your deity. You have just come to the doorstep and you have not been able to go inside. As if seeing that place to find Supreme Bodhi, you cannot achieve it in the end. Supreme Bodhi Bodhisattva, as soon as he listens, he knows his deity and sees his deity, knows that the deity does not arise and does not die. , without stopping. A dharma, which understands the chon Cham, all the dhammas are grasping the cham chon. All scenes arise from the realm of "like motionlessness", so seeing all the scenes itself is like My mind, too, as if motionless.

Spirit Tu Canh wrote the poem chanting, Ngu To also sent Father Tu to ask him to enter the room to ask:
- Is the shelf yours?
Shen Tu respectfully answered:
–The Venerable Master, actually made by me, I do not dare to expect to see the throne of the Sixth Patriarch, respectfully wish the Venerable Master to see if I have any wisdom?
The Five Patriarch told Than Tu:
- The shelf he has done has not seen the Truth as his nature, he is still a person by the door! His interpretation of the practice of achieving the Supreme Bodhi Bodhisattva is difficult.
The so-called Supreme Bodhi , meaning that the right words to receive their own mind, to clear the mind Tanh. Need to know the nature of any immortal being, in any event, all things are members of the mind, there is no stagnant place. If one thing is true, then everything is true. Every scene will reach the realm as immobile. The mind as still as that is true. If he has a place like that, it is the Supreme Bodhi nature.
Go back out, think for a day or two, and then do another verse and show it to me. If your verse is at the door, I will give you medicine. "
Spirit Tu bowed out. Over a few days, Than Tu did not finish the shelf in his panic, the spirit of recovery seemed to be in a dream, walking and sitting was not peaceful.
Lecture:
The Five Great Patriarchs declared to Tu Tu clearly Bodhi nature, could not use the coast of coast, the mind of hope and hope. So he told Than Tu that:

The young man replied, "This barbaric person knows nothing. The Great Master said that the worldly life of the world is a big deal. Because he wanted to give medicine to him, he taught his disciples, each of them to make a poem to show." Bodhi is not a tree,
Bright examples are not radio.

- He wants to learn the Supreme Bodhi dharma, one should not despise new people learning Buddhism. Usually the stupidest person has the wisdom of surpassing.
So saying: "great wisdom is stupid" - people with great wisdom are like ignorant people, they don't know what to ask, like I ask my disciples, they all say they don't know, this is learning. spirit of wisdom and weakness. When they first arrived they said, "I know everything." Once I met someone who said the same thing, I asked, "How do you know everything? Now I ask you: 'You eat rice, eat as many grains of rice? Do you know?' "He said," I have not counted. " I said, "If I don't count, I don't know that."
Hui Neng continues to say:
–The people below do the hard work, having the same wisdom as those of the highest position. On the contrary, people with noble status, sometimes also lost a wisdom. How is called wisdom lost? Ie desire loses the mind. If you despise people, you will create infinite boundless sins, you understand?
–Okay, alright! He was right. If you read your verse, I will help you to write. But I told him before, when he obtained the Dharma, he needed to save me first, because I helped him write the shelf, without me he would not know his verse. Don't forget my words!
Hue Nang's verse is:
Bodhi duty immeasurable: Bodhi is enlightened, how can a tree be? If there is a tree then Bodhi tree becomes an object, and there is attachment. Bodhi hybrid inherent nothing. You say, you are enlightened, so what is enlightenment? Is blue, yellow, red, white? Can you say the shape of it, when it is formless form?
Scene of heron radio: You say the mind is like a shining example, in fact there is no mirror at all, if there is a mirror, there is an attachment, called Ung in the headquarters of a child born in wonder , how can there be a mirror OK?
The duty of no object: the deity does not have any object, nor does it have any form, nor does it have any type of drawing or any form.

This verse is mainly derived from "Ung unborn child-born head," if there is no attachment, is also the Buddha's saying: "Most beings, all Tathagata wisdom, generosity, just because hope accept that idea can not attain. " Here teaches people not to be attached. What are you attached to? You accept it, is the future forever and not? At the time of death, can you be attached to something?
The verse is finished, all the monks and laypeople in the temple are surprised, no one does not praise. People said to each other, "Strange! If he knows how to make shelves, it is impossible to see the appearance of the outside to judge, and despise him as a barbaric person. He has not been here long. so it is undeniable that he is a Bodhisattva body humiliation?
Perhaps at that time there was Arhat by his side, deliberately telling people, reminding people to see clearly the humiliation of the Bodhisattva body, which is one reason. Another reason is that some people use this to ridicule, because they do not know if his shelf is right or not.

The Patriarch saw them surprised and surprised, and afraid that someone wanted to harm him, he removed all the verses and removed his shoes, saying, "It has not seen nature." They are all right.

–This is also not understanding, the meaning of the verse is not right.
When you hear that, some people think, "The Five Great Patriarchs, but also the language? The first verse He told people that this verse will not fall into the three evil paths, can achieve great benefits, yes can read Tanh, but actually chanting this verse is not of great benefit, nor can it not fail to fall in love with the three disciples. Unfortunately, no one understands this. Precisely because no one has been enlightened, so for the enlightened verse, there is no awareness. Practicing Buddhism, first of all, you need to give birth to an unfathomable mind , not to rely on anything, not to love, to love. If based on love is ignorance, and also is samsara. Not based on love, not based on love, not based on yes, not on nothing, that's the middle way. Not leaving what is, not leaving what is not, and not seeking out of love, but bringing love into true wisdom. This is enlightenment, otherwise it is delusion. Enlightenment and delusion is just a transformation, so say: " In the beginning of the transformation. Boundless customs in the beginning of the town," the boundless sea, turning in the wharf, is also this idea.
If you become loose with craving, chasing after sex, you will sink deeper and lower and deeper. If turned, that is Nirvana, and also silly. If you don't turn around, the delusion gets deeper and deeper. Although deep in confusion, but if you know how to turn yourself, it is enlightenment. Enlightenment is enlightenment, but enlightenment is Buddha.
Some people may think: "Once I become a Buddha, there is nothing to do, just sit there and wait for the incense burner to worship, so it's not good!"
–So make sentient beings! Make friends with beings, the level of being a Buddha. Becoming a Buddha has no interesting meaning, but Buddha has eradicated unhappiness no longer worries.
Yesterday talked about a demon, this demon does not want to be human, he said:
Falling metal elements, the three natural disasters,
Infinitive defilements, unfortunate.
Banh sufficiency of the past,
Only terrible because of the beginning.

I am now a demon,
No worries, no worries.
Heaven forced him to be human,
Being incomplete, please don't.
Demons do not have disturbing emotions and anxiety, but demons are negative, only in the late night appears, but Buddha is positive, like the light of the sun. You want to be a devil or be Buddha yourself. If you want to be a devil, then you have to have sex. But if he wants to be a Buddha, he needs to be based in the mind of a child.
Hui Neng immediately attained enlightenment, knowing that all dharmas would not leave their own nature, telling the Patriarch,
Any self-awareness that is pure,
Any reservations that are not originally born,
Yet self-sufficient capital,
Come on, your nature doesn't move about,
Come on, your nature can produce all things!

The Great Patriarch heard the lecture, and then he was enlightened. Enlightenment is fully understood, understanding the wisdom of Prajna, so the mind of all things, the mind of all things, is the nature of nature.
So Hui Nang told the Five Patriarchs,
- Master Venerable, I did not expect that the nature is not dirty and unclean, the obligation is pure.
Being pure is not being pure. This purity is an obligation, because the entity does not have any replaceable names, so use "purity" instead. This purity is not the same as before pollution but after purity; This purity is the old past (deity hybrid) purity.

–I really did not expect that the inherent nature is not destined.
Because beings have attachments, there is birth to kill, if there is no attachment, birth from where to arise? Where to kill again?
Hui Nang said:
–I am not sure, the nature of capital is not lacking, there is no more or less.
In Buddha also do not add, in beings there is no reduction, but because beings do not perceive themselves, go against enlightenment, rolling in the dust ceiling, so the treasures in the house do not know, leaving the root looking for tops, pursuing material enjoyment, pursuing delusion, the pursuit of false pretenses It was just too stupid to go, I now know the full nature of capital.
Hui Nang said:
–It is necessary for all beings to be crazy and crazy, there is no concentration, but all the nature of beings, does not waver, they are all equal.
Hui Nang said:
- I did not expect that, all things inherent from nature. I didn't think of it before, but I have realized this miracle now. It is impossible to use language to describe all this magic!

The Five Great Masters heard the words from Luc To, knowing that the Patriarch was enlightened and was aware of the duty of repeating the item, knowing whether his nose was horizontal or vertical, whether his arm was raised, his right or opposite finger. Yesterday I asked you, "When your hand is pointing down your finger, is your hand pointing upward with your dominant finger? Or is your hand facing your dominant finger, your hand is pointing upward with your dominant finger?" No one knows this ethic. There are no pros and cons, nothing against. The Great Patriarch has a clear understanding on these issues, the Five Great Masters also know that the Great Patriarch understood these issues and therefore told the Patriarch:
–If you are not aware of your own mind, studying the dharma is futile.
There is a saying: "If the person is aware of his mind, the earth is not an inch of earth." If you are aware of your mind, the land of this great earth has all turned into pure gold and jewels. You say, "As far as your child knows, it's not like that!" Of course, because you are not aware of your mind! Like wearing pink glasses, seeing everything is pink, wearing blue glasses, seeing everything is blue. Because you are not aware of this mind, seeing the great earth is all land. Precisely because the soil in your mind - the delusion - is too much. If there were no delusion, there would be no dust in this world.
Recognize what your mind is like? See what your nature is, green, yellow, black and white, or long, short and square? Say there is a form, for example, the root does not have a form at all. However, it is necessary to be aware of it, if not, it cannot be said indiscriminately.
If the awareness of the mind, the self-nature, is the great man, natural man, is also Buddha. Nowadays, if we are aware of our own mind, see nature, then it is Buddha. Because beings are originally Buddhas, Buddhas are also sentient beings, so we all have the opportunity to become Buddha. If you are not aware of the mind, do not see the nature, then you need to spend more time studying Buddhism.
Come to the third, Hue Nang this legal life, no one or. The Patriarch instructed the Dharma teacher to teach me how to teach and teach me, "You are the Sixth Patriarch. Be smart in protecting yourself. Be generous with them, and pass on the Dharma to the next life, do not let break Listen to my verse:
There is a new love for sowing
Because the earth was born,
No love is not the same,
No nature is not born. "

Studying the Buddha-dharma requires positive efforts, righteous practice, should not learn the first speech meditation (meditation in the mouth), only learn to teach sermons, sermons, say ingenious words, clever excuses. Learning the first meditation, a little elaborately righteous also does not, or always want to be better than people, jealousy envy, obstacles do not achieve the name of the sixth generation teacher. Like those who cook in the kitchen here, is the Bodhisattva onion, cooking delicious rice for everyone to eat. But when I finished eating, I didn't know if it was good or bad because I didn't have time to study the food. The practice of Bodhisattva is in any case helping people, not causing people obstacles. So say: Do not cause people obstacles. So say: Do not cause people obstacles. So say: Gentleman's useful to spend m y O, meaning that gentleman had a good faith concern for the entire job. Just like there are a few people who want to become monks now, I ask if anyone disagrees. The results no one objected. That is the cause of the fine, not opposed to the renunciation, who also agreed.

This is a particularly important thing, don't let it be, now I'm saying a verse:
Being in the inferior race : the love is compassionate, because I have compassion to cultivate seeds, it is I who will spread the Buddha Dharma to him.
The result of the earth is completely reborn: because I give the dharma to him as well as bring the seeds to the ground, the fruits will be born.
Accidentally herons immortal: if there were no people who transmitted the Dharma to him, there would be no Bodhi seeds.
Emptiness without her birth: there is no nature nor birth.
That is one explanation, and another explanation is:
Being in the middle of lower genius: Love is a kind of affection or love, because there is new love planting seeds, just like you study Buddhism here, not your relatives are friends, your relatives are like have affection of loved ones, friends have affection of friends. Because of love, so everyone learn Buddhism together.
The human result is complete: Because of this sentiment, Bodhi seed is sown, but before it is necessary to have soil, it can bear fruit, in order to produce Bodhi fruit.

Tanh Tanh heron no birth: Without Buddha Tanh then can not become Buddha.

But once you are enlightened, you need to save yourself. But same-called measuring ä, but master and disciple disciple of the guru, the use of this term is not the same. I was born in a low land, improperly pronounced, no one listened to, taught by my master to the magic of initiation, now I am enlightened, I need to save myself.
This is the Fifth Patriarch and the Six Patriarch said muscle meditation, the Five Patriarch said: "I am suitable for you." Lu To said, "When I love my master, I realize that I have to be self-sufficient (my own nature)."
Why is it called self-nature? For example, when you do not know the recitation of the Surangama mantra, someone teaches you to recite it, but after knowing how to chant, you can push the books to recite the chanting yourself, without needing others to advise you. Before you understand the chanting, you need a teacher to teach you to chant. After understanding clearly, I need to recite the sutta on my own, without the master asking: Have I chanted the sutta today? Like now, there are people who want to learn from Thien Thai Tri, the Great Teacher, worshiping the Shurangama Sutra and the Lotus Sutra to gain enlightenment, so every day, every night, bowing to the Lotus Sutra, this is also called the self-nature.
Again, should turn negativity into Bodhi. You need to bring the learned method on your own, and transform disturbing emotions into Bodhi. When someone wants to make it difficult, you need to see it like a flower in the mirror, the moon in the water, like illusory like chemical, like dreaming like dew, thinking like that negativity will be no more. Meeting the realm if you can see through, can let go called self-nature.
Again, if you have a bad habit of drinking alcohol and smoking, after listening to your teacher's advice, knowing that that is the obstacle to the spiritual cultivation that your mind abstains from. For example, if I have a disciple who tells me to try, then the result of abstinence altogether, the abstinence of abstinence is also called self-respect. If it is possible to get rid of enlightenment, if it is not cleared, it is still ambiguous, so enlightenment or not is up to you. If possible, the evil beings cooperate, they serve well, that is, their own nature. Before understanding the Buddha Dharma, it is inevitable to do the wrong delusion, but after understanding the Dharma, it is important to remember in the heart not to do the crazy delusion. If you still do those things, you are the one who is guilty of Buddhism, later you will definitely go to hell, because you have committed the Dharma, and the crime is triple. So said: " Tapping history, natural disasters, professional work any loss, predestined reunion time, complete retribution." Means: Although hundreds of thousands of lives, karma has been created and then it is difficult to lose, predestined upon reunion, the retribution itself must be received. No one can take the blame for the karma of killing, robbing, committing adultery, lying, drinking alcohol that he has caused. Any created job will then receive the result of that retribution, a little and not at all.
Self-nature is deeply implied, that is, it is necessary to eradicate doubtful thoughts of remorse and eradicate dirty structures in one's nature. If the dirty structure cannot be removed, it cannot be self-absorbed. What is called the dirty structure of your nature is your distracting delusion, ignorance of ignorance, the possession of illegal gas.
A while ago I was there preaching this text, saying, "You create bad karma, you fall to hell; I create bad karma, I fall to hell; it creates bad karma, it falls to hell."
At that time, some people protested, saying, "Never had this, where the hell is? I've never seen it before, even if there is hell, I want to try it."
I said, "You want to try it? You don't need to try to go to hell, try to fall." Why so? You see those who fall into hell, they all tried to fall into it, so they wanted to get out today and couldn't. Therefore, today I would like to give advice to those who want to try, should give up that notion!
Those who are self-sufficient ? Everyone can be self-righteous, but it must be wise to be wise, not only can the ignorant be self-sufficient, even if they teach them, they will not listen. Like teaching dogs not to bite people, but when hitting them, they still bite as usual, because it is stupid because of their nature. Cats catch mice, though teaching it needs to keep precepts, not to kill, to release, but because of bad habits are difficult to fix, so follow the old habit. Teach mice not to steal, but they still steal food. Smoking, sneaking and drinking cigarettes are all acts of people who refuse to modify their bad habits. The righteous understands reason, does not do deluding things; The nerd cannot do the smart things either.
Self- righteousness , that is, you must eliminate your own bad habits. Teacher cannot always be with you, advising you not to do bad things. Above are the basic explanations, if said in a detailed way, afraid that talking will not end.
The Patriarch said, "That's right, that's right! From now on, the Dharma will be carried out by you. You are gone, I will give it to you in three years. Now go, try your best to the South, but you won't should hurry to lecture, because the Buddha-dharma flourishes from difficulties. "

The Five Patriarch said, "That's right (like that)! That's right! This is very suitable for my mind. The Buddha Dharma will be greatly expended later on. He left us three years later, I will enter Nirvana, because I have to work hard to go to the south, I need to hide my talents, I have to nurture my spirit, and I can succeed in everything I do, but after I leave from this place you should not rush to propagate the Buddha Dharma, because the Buddha Dharma will rise from difficulties, the harder it will be. "
This Hui-neng bid farewell to O-sensei, heading south, for two months to Dai Dieu Lanh mountain.

Lu To Dai Dai after leaving the Five Great Monks (since he could not take care of them himself), went to the South from Bang Mau Mountain to Cuu Giang to Quang Dong. After more than two months, he came to Dai Du Lanh (where the border of Nam Hung district, Quang Dong province and the southern part of Dai Du district, Jiangxi province).
Ngu To, after returning, for a few days without a lecture on the road, sentient beings of suspicion, came to the staff room to ask:
–The Venerable Master's Staff! Are you sick, do you mind?
Ngu To answered:
- The disease is not available, but the medicine has already passed to the South, you can leave this place, where I no longer have Buddhism, I am going to retire.
They ask:
–Who can take medicine? Who did he impart to?
–The person with the most courage and ability to take medicine.
At that time, people only knew that Lu Hui Hui was able to take this bowl. Some are also very intelligent, like Zen master Phap Nhu, one of the ten great disciples of the Five Patriarchs. So more than a hundred people chasing Lu To want to get back the medicine bowl.
There was a teacher named Trần, named Hue Minh, who had once worked as a fourth general, with a rough temper, determined to find us. The master took their heads and followed this energy. Hui Neng put the bowl on the rock and said, "This medicine is a sign of respect, is it possible to draw with strength?" This Hui Nang section is hidden in the grass.
Hue Minh came to take him up and did not budge, saying: "Practitioner, practitioner, I came here because of the Dharma, not because of him!"

At that time, among these one hundred people, there was a monk, whose name was Tran Hue Minh, who had previously worked in the four generals' generosity, his temper was impatient and impulsive. is scolding people, if anyone does not listen immediately to beat people. This person has very strong strength, a stone weighing several dozen kilograms can also be crushed. Because he had this guarantee, he should go to the fourth rank He has an extraordinary ability - non-reclamation (who runs as fast as a squirrel), a day can run two hundred miles of road, but ordinary people can run only one hundred miles a day at most.
He was determined to get the medicine bowl back, thinking that whoever has the power he would get medicine. Especially he runs very fast, runs ahead of everyone, and is about to catch up with Hui Neng.
Hui Neng saw a rude person like that come running, at that time his mind was a little nervous. Although he has attained the dharma, but because he has just practiced Buddhism, he has not had a great magical power, so he is a little worried. So Hui Neng then took him to remove the bowl on a stone, telling himself that, "This bowl of medicine is a symbol of things, how can we use force to compete?" Hui Neng then lurked in the grass, not for people to see. Hui Ming came running, saw the bowl, but could not lift it. Why can't he lift? Because in the invisible realm, there are protectors and celestial beings in the army, so even if Hue Minh has such power, he is also a hero without land using martial arts. At that time, Hue Minh cried out,
- A monk, I came here because of the Buddha Dharma, not because I wanted to win medicine!
Because he could not lift the bowl, so said that; If he did, he would have run away from this place long ago. Because he could not lift it, he came to his senses: This bowl of medicine could not use his strength, so he turned to the Sixth Patriarch to pray for dharma.
Why say Hue Ming is not for the law but for medicine? Because if he really came from the dharma, he would not touch the bowls first, but had just come to the place to speak first: "Practitioner, practitioner, I come for the dharma, not because he came. " Do you think it is reasonable for me to say so?
Hui Hui came out, sat cross-legged on the rock. Hue Minh did the ceremony, saying: "Thank the practitioner who speaks the dharma to me."
Hui Neng said: "If you come here because of the Dharma, then you will be completely finished of tranquility, don't bear a recitation, I will clearly say Buddha Dharma to You."
Quietly for a long time, this Hui Hui said, "Did not think of good deeds, did not think of evil, then what was the identity of Venerable Minh?"
Hue Minh heard already, immediately enlightened.
Hue Minh asked again: "Besides the words and wonderful ideas that you have just taught, are there any other wonderful ideas?"

Hearing Hue Minh say that, Luc To came out from the grass, sitting on the rock. At that time, Hue Minh first prostrated himself (although the renunciants did not pay homage to the lay people, but this was a special predestined relationship, so the exception):
- I wish the practitioner for my sermon.
The Great Patriarch Master said to Hue Minh:
- He came because of the dharma, not because he wanted to take the bowl of medicine, he needs to stop all karmic conditions, not to think of anything, a not-born thought. I present because he preached.
After saying that, he did not say anything. At that time, the Great Patriarch was not born of a thought, nor was Hue Minh born of a thought, both of them stopped their predestined relationships, even the demons did not know what the two were doing, so they said wages , for about five minutes. The Great Patriarch saw that Minh Ming was no longer in delusion, that the predestined mind had let go, all were not, and he said:
–At the moment you don't think good, not evil, at that moment who was the true duty of the Venerable Hue Minh?
It is because of the words "who," so later on Zen Buddhism became involved "Who is reciting Buddha?"
Here the word "what" is a secular word, meaning "who." Why use "Venerable?" Because the Great Patriarch was still a layperson, so proclaimed Hue Minh as Venerable.
Upon hearing that from Lu To, Hue Minh immediately became enlightened.
Hue Minh, though enlightened already, has initially changed his face and realized his true self, but still does not know tri tri, greed is still great. Those who chase the Great Patriarch Luc, are all due to the wrong mind and greed, desire to be the Sixth Patriarch. But Master Ming Hui is greed in greed, he is enlightened and still feels not enough, seems to have something not achieved, so ask again:
- You just taught me the secret language, in addition to these important words and ideas, please ask is there any more wonderful words?
The secret language here needs to be understood as magic , not the secret.
Hui Hui said, "What I told him was not that wonderful (secret). If he reflects, then that wonderful magic (honey) is right where he is."
Hue Minh said: "I am staying in Hoang Mai, but I have not really considered my Category. Now, thanks to the practitioner, I like the people who drink water, cold and hot on their own. Now the practitioner is Hue's teacher. That's it. "
Hui Nang said: "If so, then he and I worship the same teacher is Hoang Mai. Please take care of themselves!"
Hui Ming said, "Now and after what place does Ming Ming go to?"
This Hui Hui said, "Stop meeting Vien, and meet Mong there."
Minh did the ceremony and then retired.

Lu To Dai Su answered:
- The things I preach to him are not secrets, nor are they miracles. If he reflects back, then the magic is right where he is, not at me.
Hui Ming happily said:
–I have been in Hoang Mai for a long time, and I am not aware of my true identity. Now thanks to practitioners to teach, just like people who drink water, hot or cold, only they know themselves. Now the practitioner is Hue Minh's master.
The Great Patriarch said:
–If you think so, I replace the Five Patriarchs in order to teach you. We worship the Five Patriarchs as Teachers, brothers and sisters. He needed to preserve the protection of the Buddha Dharma, not to break it.
Hui Ming asked again:
- Where should he go later?
–To stop at Vien Chau, stop at Mong Son and stay there.
At that time, Hue Minh went to Lu To, bowed his head and bowed.
After that, Hue Minh still did not immediately go out, three years later, to head to Mong Son. Here, Ming Ming met a demon, who was still alive as a baccalaureate, so after he died, he could still write poems. It recited a poem as follows:
Naturalized president fantasies herons school,
Ancient city success measure back.
Wild flower fairy concept of minimal,
Suffering to attempt the school period.
Residual copper copper import and export,
Ngu canh millet invisibility picture.
Regret any religious practitioner,
Chi tried every two lacquer bar.
Provisional translation:
Late at night, in a quiet suburb,
Serene serene dreams.
The heart doesn't expect anything in the world,
Successful past this capital was indifferent.
The scent of flowers is enjoyed by countless times,
The smell of life is too bitter.
Late at night make friends with fireflies,
Five chicken wing soup faded shadow.
How long has remorse for itself,
Do not cultivate the mind does not expect.
I don't know where evil is,
To this blue mountain melancholy.
Hue Minh finished listening to the sermon for him, making it super-reborn. So turning Mong Son (Mong Son ceremony every night or Cong Phu Afternoon at the temple) is the super evil spirit.
Hui Ming returned to the mountain, told them to chase and said: "Search all the mountain roads without any trace, have to go the other direction." They all believe that. Hue Minh later changed his name to Dao Minh, which is to avoid the taboo name of the Great Master.

Hui Ming turned to the foot of the mountain, telling the hundreds of people chasing Hui Nang:
–I've been to the top of the mountain to look over, I can't find his whereabouts, he doesn't run this way. Maybe another way.
These people heard "non-recession" saying they did not see Hui Nang, immediately believed that it was true. In fact, Hue Minh An Dai spoke great language. Why did he lie? Because he had acquired the dharma, because he wanted to protect the Buddha Dharma and the safety of the Sixth Patriarch, therefore he said such a truth. Hue Minh later changed his name to Dao Minh, because Luc To was named Hui Nang, he wanted to avoid the first "Hue" of Luc To Hui Nang's name, so he changed his name to Dao Minh.
This Hui Neng after coming to Cao Khe was chased by evil people, so he had to take refuge, living with hunters in Tu Hoi district, the school spent fifteen years. During my time with them, we also arbitrarily said the law. The hunters often tell us to keep the net. Every time we see the animals coming in, we release them all. Whenever we come to the meal, we take the vegetables and boil them in the meat pot. Someone asked, we answered that only eat boiled vegetables cooked with meat only.

The Great Patriarch then went to Nam Hoa Temple in Cao Khe. Shen Tu has not abandoned his intention, sending his blessed disciple to kill Luc To. The Sixth Patriarch came to Sichuan to live with hunters to hide from those who wanted to harm him, because no one thought that a Buddhist believer could live with the hunters, so they went everywhere. looking for the Sixth Patriarch but couldn't find it. Fifteen years have passed (some say that sixteen years included the whole year he fled, in fact he only lived with hunters fifteen years). During these fifteen years he often gave teachings to the hunters.
When the hunter often dispatched the Great Patriarch to do the job of guarding the net, he saw the animals and birds alive in the net, finding all ways to release. Whenever the time came for rice, he would often look for wild mountain vegetables and put them in the pot of cooked meat. Someone asked why he did so.
- I only eat vegetables cooked with meat, I do not eat meat.
One day, we thought that it was time to propagate the Dharma and not to hide forever. We went to the Dharma Temple in Guangzhou, met the Indian Dharma Master, who was teaching the Nirvana Sutta. At that time, the wind blew and shook the leaves. One teacher said the wind was moving, the other one said that it was stirring.
Hui Neng stepped forward to say, "Neither the wind nor the turbulence is the mind of the pretentious people."
They are terrified of hearing. India then invited us to take the first seat, and asked for the mystical meanings.
Seeing this Hui-neng reply, simple language, proper meaning, but not due to the writing, Indo-Tong said, "The practitioner must not be an ordinary person. For a long time I have heard the medicine of Hoa Mai Mai Ngu Has gone to the South, is it a yogi? "
Hui Hui said: "I did not dare!"
Therefore, India paid homage, please give me the y bowl to show to the masses.

One day, Lu An Great Master came up with the idea:
- Now's the time to preach, we can't hide forever like this.
So he left the Sihui to go to the Buddha Tanh Temple in Guangzhou, met when the Dharma Master Tong was preaching the Nirvana Sutra. During the lecture, there is wind blowing to shake the leaves. At that time a monk said:
–This is a moving wind.
Another monk said:
–This is a reaction.
The two people are in constant dispute. Lu To told them that:
–Yes, that is your heart's movement! If his mind is not moving, then the wind is not moving, nor is moving.
At that time, the audience who heard him say so felt very magical. What a shocking statement for all four.
Dharma Master Tong invited the Great Patriarch to the Supreme Court to summon him, inviting him to declare the magical teaching in the sutta. Dharma Master Tong found that Lu An Great Master preached very simple, but accurate reasoning, not by self-explanatory writing, so extremely respected should say:
–At the audience, he is certainly not an ordinary person. I have long heard that Hoang Mai's bowl of medicine had passed to the South, is it Him?
Lu To Dai Su answered:
-I do not dare.
Shamans of India have just heard that he is the successor of the Five Patriarchs. Then he turned to the Great Patriarch and bowed his head to pay homage, sometimes the Grand Master brought the Medicine Bowl of the Five Patriarchs to the masses.
India asked again: "His Holiness, when he wished, how did he ordain?"
This Hui Neng said, "You do not receive any instructions, just commenting on knowledge. You have no discourse on meditation and liberation."
India asked, "Why not meditate on meditation and liberation?"
Hui Neng said: "Because meditation and liberation are dualistic Dharma, it is not Buddha Dharma. Buddha Dharma is second (non-dual) dharma."
India asked again: "How is the Buddha Dharma two?"
Hui Neng said: "The Dharma teacher teaches the Nirvana Sutra, it must be clear that Buddha nature is the only Dharma of the Buddha Dharma. As Noble Lord Bodhisattva, the Buddha, says: He has committed four serious things, made five crimes. If they are against and they are problematic, then the good nature of Buddha nature must be eradicated, the Buddha replied, Goodness has two things: one is ordinary and the other is impermanent, Buddhahood is not ordinary, it is not impermanent. so there is no cessation, that is called Dharma, no two: Goodness has two: one is good, two is not good, Buddha nature is not good, it is not good, it is called Dharma. .
India finished listening, happy, clasped hands: "My preaching is like a tile tile, the meaning of the false as well as fine gold." Therefore, India let me down my hair and vowed to be a teacher.

–Because meditation and liberation are dhamma, not Dharma. Dharma is not duality, there is only one dharma, so it is called non-dual.
–What is called the duality of Buddha Dharma?
-Magician! He lectured on the Nirvana Sutra, if He could see Buddha Nature, the clear mind of awareness, that is the dharma of non-dual disciplines in Buddha Dharma. Like the Bodhisattva Noble King, he asked the Buddha, "If someone commits four types of precepts of forbidden duty: killing, directing, obscene, expecting, not repenting, committing five rebellious sins: killing one's father, killing one's mother, kill Arhat, destroy the Sangha, cause Buddha to bleed, and have the most kind of problem (that is, people without faith), do these people have a good root for Buddhahood? "Buddha replied," There are two types of good roots: one is ordinary and the other is impermanent. But Buddhahood has no distinction between ordinary and impermanent, so there is no Buddha nature. Call it non-dual disciplines. Again, the five precepts, the ten virtuous acts; the five contradictions, the ten evil is the evil, but Buddha nature has no distinction of good and evil, it is called non-dual disciplines. "Aggregates are materiality, feeling, perception, action, and consciousness; precepts are eighteen precepts, or six senses (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind), green ceiling (color, silence, flavor, taste, contact, dharma), awakening (visual consciousness, atria, consciousness, consciousness, bodily consciousness, consciousness Phàm phu sees the five aggregates and the eighteen precepts are two distinct things, but the wise willow attain its nature which is incomparable, without any distinction, the true nature of such duality is called Buddha nature.
Dharma Master Tong, after hearing the Great Patriarch's teachings, was ever happy before, joined hands respectfully and said:
–An Tong I teach sutras, like bricks and tiles, and He preaches sutras like fine gold.
At this time, the Dharma Master An Tong from Quang Hieu Pagoda lowered his hair to the Great Patriarch, and vowed to worship the Great Patriarch as a Teacher.
The Great Patriarch then sat under the Bodhi tree in Quang Hieu Pagoda, opening Dong Son method.
We say: "Hue Nang obtained the dharma right at Dong Son mountain, suffered hundreds of bitterness, his life was just a joke, today, along with the Military History, officials, dignitaries, monks, nuns, religion, profanity, together If not because of the predestined conditions of existence, then in the past life, you would have made offerings to the Buddhas and co-growers, so you could hear the Dharma teaching above and gain grace. The teaching of the teachings of the previous saints, not because of this power of self-understanding, in order to hear the teachings of the previous saints, everyone must be pure in heart. remove the doubts themselves, then justify as the Saints in the past. "
They were happy to hear the dharma, and the ceremony retreated.

The Great Patriarch said:
–I am in Bằng Mậu Hoàng Mai after obtaining the Dharma, encountering countless hardships, asylum everywhere, life is like a thread hanging from a bell. Now honored with the History of Vi Cu and the officials, Buddhist monks and nuns gathered at this auditorium. This is the predestined relationship of many lifetimes that we have created, also many previous lives of offerings to the Buddhas, together cultivating good roots, so that we can hear the dharma teaching of the previous saints, and the predestined relationship to which I have obtained the Dharma.
The Dharma is passed down by the Buddhas of the Bodhisattva in the past, not to Hue Hue's wisdom. If you want to listen to the teachings that the Buddhas speak, first you need to clear your mind. After listening to the dharma, each one leaves his or her own doubt, just like listening to the Buddha and the Bodhisattva teach the dharma.
