The meaning of the Lotus Sutra for cultivators. It is no coincidence that the Lotus Sutra is classified as the "King of the Sutras", because the Sutra belongs to the ultimate teaching that the Buddha said to bring his disciples to the One Vehicle and realize Buddhahood. The Buddha taught: "The One Buddha Vehicle is a sublime teaching, only for the matured faculties." Therefore, whoever writes, accepts, maintains, and preaches this Sutra must know that he has immeasurable merit. Without great faith, cultivating good roots from countless eons, it would be difficult to achieve. In the Dharma Bao Dan Sutra, there is a passage that says: There was a teacher Phap Dat who came one day to pay homage to the Sixth Patriarch, Hue Neng, who bowed down to him three times without touching the ground, the Patriarch said: "To destroy pride, show reverence, it is better not to bow with your head on the ground." You must have something in your heart, tell me? Phap Dat said: I recited the Lotus Sutra for three thousand sets. The patriarch said: "If you recite to ten thousand sets, understand the meaning of the Sutra, but do not consider it superior to others, then you will go the same way with me. Now your family relies on chanting sutras, so you don't know your fault." Then the Patriarch said in a stanza: "The ritual destroys pride. Why doesn't the head touch the ground? Clinging to fall, sin is born. Forgetting the merits, the happiness is high". After hearing the verse, Phap Dat apologized and said, "From now on, please be humble to all". The Lotus Sutra also teaches humility and patience through the image of Bodhisattva Wall Not Disparaging, meeting everyone respectfully clasping his hands and saying: "I don't dare to despise him, because sooner or later he will also become a Buddha." There were people who were happy to hear it, and some who scolded him, but he still kept such a humble mind. Because he knew well, everyone has Buddha nature and the ability to practice to become a Buddha. All sentient beings, either in the present or in the future, If you have ever heard the Lotus Sutra, you will definitely become a Buddha. The image of Bodhisattva Never Disparaging helps cultivators get rid of their conceit on the path of cultivation. Therefore, the Buddha said, someone who keeps the Lotus Sutra is like a person digging a well on the plateau, it is extremely difficult work, the plateau is like a wasteland of birth and death. The water on it indicates the source of the pure mind available to each living being. But because of ignorance, that source of mind does not manifest. Just as a wise person tries to dig forever, he will definitely come to the wet ground, so he will always have to reach the underground water source, that is, see the Way, continue digging until the water gushes up is to enter the Buddha nature, is the achievement. Buddhahood. The Buddha said, someone who keeps the Lotus Sutra is like a person digging a well on the plateau, which is extremely difficult work, the plateau is like a wasteland of birth and death. However, digging a well can take a year, After two years or a few decades, it will also be completed, but practicing and practicing according to the Lotus Sutra to realize Buddha's knowledge, understanding, and knowledge of "Necessary knowledge" is a lifelong career, many generations or many A monk. It is not certain that we have achieved it, if we are not brave and diligent. It is very difficult to practice according to the Lotus Sutra, because the meaning is so profound. Therefore, people who want to fully uphold the Dharma Flower must first meet the three basic conditions as the Master Gong Duc says: "Stay at the Tathagata's house, wear the Tathagata robes and sit on the Tathagata throne". Practitioners who want to uphold the Lotus Sutra must live in the house of the Tathagata. That is to have compassion for sentient beings like a mother loves her child. If we lack loving-kindness, we cannot practice Dharma Flower. As in his previous life, Maitreya Bodhisattva was the Seeker of Fame. Through generating the mind of Samadhi, named Tu Thi, he was predicted to become a Buddha by the Buddha. Therefore, Cultivators must make their home with compassion, save suffering, and give joy to all sentient beings, making them come to liberation and enlightenment. In the same way, the Buddha considers all sentient beings as his own children, always spreading loving-kindness and bringing peace to sentient beings. We are Buddha's children, so we must practice according to what the Buddha did, walk on the path the Buddha walked to hope to achieve the path and fruition. That is to have compassion for sentient beings like a mother loves her child. Without loving-kindness, we cannot practice Dharma Flower. Like in his previous life, Maitreya Bodhisattva was a Seeker of Fame, thanks to the heart of Samadhi, named Tu Thi, later he was predicted to become a Buddha by the Buddha. To receive the Dharma Flower, practitioners must wear the Tathagata robes, which means dignify their body and mind with gentleness and patience. Only loving-kindness is not enough, but we must use loving words to save sentient beings. Sentient beings treat the Buddhadharma like children. It should be known that Dharma Flower is the ultimate medicine. If it is not coated with a layer of gentle, loving, and patient sugar, sentient beings cannot drink it. But the patience that the Buddha taught here is patience in wisdom, patience to teach. For example, when the Buddha asked the person who scolded him: "If you bring gifts to people, people will not accept them. It belongs to you, doesn't it?" This virtue is very necessary to overcome difficulties on the path of teaching the Dharma to save birth. Those who say Dharma Flower must sit on the Tathagata's throne. Sitting is "Abiding", the Tathagata's throne means that the Great Bodhisattva contemplates: "All dharmas are not as they really are." He does not turn around, does not move, does not speak, does not move like space. the self-nature of the Dharmas. Since dharmas are without intrinsic nature, they cannot be obtained. The Buddha abides in that Void, so it is called sitting on the Tathagata throne. The Diamond Sutra says: "As the market passes away immeasurable, innumerable boundless sentient beings are real, non-sentient beings attain the pseudo-realization." Those who say Dharma Flower must sit on the Tathagata's throne. Sitting is "Abiding", the Tathagata's throne means that the Great Bodhisattva contemplates: "All dharmas are not as they really are." He does not turn around, does not move, does not speak, does not move like space. the self-nature of the Dharmas. Those who say Dharma Flower must sit on the Tathagata's throne. Sitting is "Abiding", the Tathagata means the Great Bodhisattva contemplating: "Nevertheless dharmas are not as they really are" does not pervert, do not move, do not speak, and do not move like space. During the entire life of the Buddha, he said that I did not see any sentient beings being saved, so the teaching of saving birth was complete. The Buddha is in the void of nature, so he can no longer see the appearance of sentient beings. To all sentient beings, they speak the Dharma equally, and because they conform to the Dharma, they do not speak much. Practitioners who keep the Lotus Sutra at home or leave home should generate great compassion, while Bodhisattvas generate great compassion. This Lotus Sutra is the secret organ of the Tathagatas. Because it only shows the Buddha's knowledge and understanding, it is very difficult to show people, because it has no appearance and is beyond language. However, it is always present in us. At the Tathagata's house, wearing the Tathagata robes and sitting on the Tathagata's throne are the three virtues, the three basic conditions for reading and chanting, preached that the Lotus Sutra was ultimately complete. The person who holds, teaches and speaks the Lotus Sutra, must first keep the precepts, ie abide in the four dharmas: 1. Practice: Stay in patience, gentle without fear; 2. Close relatives: Not close to kings and mandarins... these subjects should not be close if they have to preach the Dharma. Contemplation of dharmas is not like the real general, not crazy, not moving like space; 3. Peace and happiness: Not saying the fault of others and Kinh, not condescending other shamans, for Thanh Van goods, neither praise nor criticize. For all sentient beings, one must have an equal mind to speak the Dharma. For the Tathagatas, Bodhisattvas must often pay respects; 4. Starting great compassion: Heart born of compassion for people at home, ordained. Those who have accomplished these four dharmas will not make mistakes when they speak the Dharma. In the article The Master of Merit, it is written: "If there is a good man, If a good woman accepts this Lotus Sutra, or reads it, recites it, interprets it, or transcribes it, she will gain eight hundred merits in her eyes, twelve hundred merits in her ears, and eight hundred merits in her body, one thousand two hundred merits in the mind, using these merits, adorning the six senses are purified.” The Lotus Sutra attaches great importance to the Buddha-nature or the equal knowledge of the Buddha-nature in each sentient being through the saying: "It is imperative that all sentient beings have the Buddha-nature." If anyone knows how to return to live with the Buddha's knowledge of the Buddha in them, will it be of great use? can think. The Lotus Sutra attaches great importance to the Buddha-nature or the equal knowledge of the Buddha-nature in each sentient being through the saying: "It is imperative that all sentient beings have the Buddha-nature." If anyone knows how to return to live with the Buddha's knowledge of the Buddha in them, will it be of great use? can think. Also in the Quality Dharma Master Gong Duc, the Buddha prophesied that: "Whoever reads and recites, Upholding the Lotus Sutra is that one has adorned himself with the dignity of the Buddha. Therefore, being carried on his shoulders by the Tathagata." The Lotus Sutra attaches great importance to the Buddha-nature or the equal knowledge of the Buddha-nature in each sentient being through the saying: "It is imperative that all sentient beings have the Buddha-nature." If anyone knows how to return to live with the Buddha's knowledge of the Buddha in them, will it be of great use? can think. Therefore, the Buddha taught, we practice the Bodhisattva path with an equal mind and teach, not rejecting anyone, enemies or relatives. Therefore, studying and practicing the Wonderful Dharma is the way back to oneself and reality, realizing that there is no ego, to give up craving and clinging, and return to live with the Buddha's Knowledge of the Buddha. available, with the Dharma Body without form, without form, without birth and without death, so the merit is inconceivable.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/7/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
