(1) In the story of the Dhammapada, It is said that, while residing at Jetavana Monastery, the Buddha recited verses 294 and 295, referring to thera Bhaddiya, a monk of short stature. At that time, some monks came to visit and pay respects to the Buddha. As they approached the Buddha, they happened to see the monk Bhaddiya nearby. The Buddha told the visiting group of monks to pay attention to the short monk and said to the crowd of monks: “Bhikkhus, look at that monk.
