Understanding Mahayana Buddhism - The Apostles in Buddhism.

Mahayana Buddhism or Northern Buddhism
Mahayana Buddhism  is called the "Great Vehicle," a prominent Buddhist form in North Asia, including China, Mongolia, Tibet, Korea, and Japan.  Northern Buddhism . Derived from the evasions of Buddhist doctrines and rules in Indian Buddhism in the first century BC, the Mahayana considered itself to be the most accurate version of the Buddha's teachings.

Mahayana Buddhist origin

The origin of Mahayana Buddhism is still ambiguous; the date and place of the unknown occurrence of the event, the movement is more likely to form over time and in many places. The earliest scriptures of Mahayana Buddhism are the  Prajna Sutra  in the Mahayana sutras, which were compiled for the first time after the death of the Buddha for five centuries.
As in previous pioneering Buddhist texts, these scriptures are almost certainly written by monks, presenting the creative ideas of the movement in the form of sermons sung by  Shakyamuni Buddha Ni transfer.
The earliest traces of Mahayana thought arise when there is disagreement among the monks at the 2nd council of Vaishali. This council is called to condemn certain acts of some monks that have been against the law of Vinaya. Although most of the monks succeeded in banishing false teachers, the remaining monks disputed the rules and some aspects of the Dharma.
A team against any change, called Sthaviravadins (Theravada, Theravadins) said that all human beings must strive to  become Arhat , freed from the cycle of  regeneration (realms Ta-sama, Samsara) to the Nirvana.
They say that the Buddhas are men - pure and simple, rejecting any concept of their transcendence. The other group, the majority, are known as Mahasanghikas, which means great monks. Like the Sthaviravadins, they accept the basic teachings of the Buddha as the  Four Noble Truths , the  Noble Eightfold Path , the Anatta ... The Law of Cause and Effect .
They differ in believing that the Buddhas are divine, their lives and their powers are unlimited. They also believe that the original nature of the mind is pure and it is polluted when it is dyed by craving and afflictions. Mahasanghikas have built and developed Mahayana Buddhism .

Buddhist point of view

The most important teaching of Mahayana is the great compassion , an inherent part of  enlightenment  shown in the Bodhisattva, who delayed  Nirvana  (the last enlightenment) to help and guide sentient beings who are still suffering in samsara. They use what Mahayana calls " skillful means " to know the individual mental and emotional power of each individual, thereby giving guidance consistent with those abilities.
Mahayana teaches that anyone can aspire to attain enlightenment and become a Bodhisattva. For Mahayana Buddhism, enlightenment involves understanding the true nature of reality and boundless love.
The Theravada and Mahayana have different views on the  doctrine of non-self . Mahayana thought extends this idea to everything, that nothing is inherent and the existence of each object depends on the existence of other things.
The bodhisattva seeks to understand this reality through  wisdom (prajna)  and perform it through  karuna . They realize that no individual has an "I", there can be no real difference between himself and another, and thus their liberation is not different from the liberation of all. people. The "selflessness" of Mahayana means understanding the absence of self or nature in all things and man.
Theravada  and Mahayana Buddhism differ in their views on the ultimate purpose of life and how it can be achieved. Theravada Buddhists try to become Arhats, or perfect saints who attain enlightenment on Nirvana. While the Northern Buddhists did not expect to become Arhat, they were Bodhisattvas, who were enlightened but delayed into Nibbana to help others attain it, as the Buddha preferred. Ca Ma Ni has done.
Mahayana teaches that enlightenment can be achieved in a single life, and this can  be done even by an ordinary person.
Mahayana Buddhists, perhaps wrongly, assert that the Arhatship ideal of Theravada Buddhism is selfish because it only cares for the liberation of oneself. Arahats, though not as advanced as a Buddha, must overcome their own thoughts and greed for enlightenment, so an allegation does not seem reasonable. The Theravadan Buddhists also claim that attaining Buddhahood is the highest ideal but it is difficult and  beyond the capacity of most people.
A person who follows the Bodhisattva path must attain 6 perfection: good  or bad, virtuous or good behavior, patience, vitality,  meditation  and wisdom.
Bodhisattva thousand thousand hands and thousand eyes

The Apostles in Mahayana Buddhism

1. French General

This anthropomorphic originates from the three Asanga, Bodhisattvas, and Dharma Protectors, taking the epistemology as the root, claiming that all phenomena are due to consciousness. There are eight types of consciousness: consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, consciousness, and consciousness. In the eight consciousness, a-re-consciousness is the basis.
A-re-awakening also known as Tibetan, cover all the seed, and then by the seed that generates the statue. The image of tan, the seed brought back to the re-a-skin. Lifeguard because of the coast that biochemistry forever. So the coast is the coast of the seed.
A-re-consciousness contains all the seeds to generate the necessary solutions. So all things due to the way that turned out, so say: "Three idealistic, all-encompassing." Huyen Trang way to India to study with Hien, then bring the General in China.

2. Tam discussion

This text is based on the Middle Ages and the bodhisattva discourse of the Bodhisattva Venerable and the Essay of the Deva as the basis, so called the Three. Tam argued that all of the emptiness in the phenomenon of gender is born impermanent. Born to kill impermanentism is no self-calculation, only by the charm of the charm that transforms into the universe. The wandering because of expectations, so accept the temporary.
The mind does not take the temporary view that all are not. The dharmas are present, but not always. Yes that is not usually there is only temporary. Temporary there is but that is not there. Yes, it is not true.
So dhammas, though, are, but the general is not. The body of the foot as though it is not naturalized, regardless of birth, but because it is born of the law, so it is the source of the temporary. Already the source, the body of the foot as it is not. As such, the foot is like no, not really, so there is no difference. So the foot as though it is not clear that it is clear.
Yes and no, no and yes, no difference. Yes there is no place; no is not due to the place. Yes and no two sides harmonize together. Seeing that place is the Middle Way, is not entangled in either or not. Because our perception is wrong, it becomes out there and there.
Beyond perception, the attainable reality is attainable. Our perception is only perceptible within the phenomena, not perceiving reality. To get to reality, one has to rely on intuition. Tam discussion is the Bat-elegant as the original, so also called Bat-elegant tone, when the French General is called Tanh or Tsu.

3. Thien Thuy

This originated in China, by the teacher Tue Van Qin, depending on the meaning of the Book of intellectual content and the Lotus Sutra. So also called French Lotus. Thien Thuy Mon policy theory "the only mind. That mind is beings, that mind is the Bodhisattva and Buddha. Birth is also in the heart, Nirvana is also in that heart.
Master Tue Van Master took the Center that the mind and set up the theory "one mind tam". Tam is not consistent, Assumption and Central. In the Non-consistent and Mandarin, it is not absolutely not. In the Assumption there is neither the Consistency nor the Consciousness, nor is it false.
Meditation is tolerant and false. The legs are like minds and things are related to each other like water with waves. In addition to water without waves, outside the legs like no mind, in addition to the mind there is no object.
Thien Thuy used the present to find the ideal place. Evil evil is only an activity of reality. Therefore, it is not compulsory to liberate the present world of birth and death. In the phenomenon of gender consists of both good and evil.
Good or evil is also due to one mind only. Two, none of them exist. So the Buddha did not do good nor did evil. Salvation must be found in the place of truth, escape the attachment. The last place to reach is to thoroughly understand the reality of the law.

4. Serious flowers

This same as Thien Thap, this originated in China, based on Huayan Sutra, by Do Thuan and Tri Nghiem, respectively. This theory that the dharmas have six generals: general, distinctive, bronze, heterosexual, city. Generally referred to as the "triple counterpart". Everything has six generals. When these six generals are distributed, they are classified as Gender and Reality, and when the six generations match, the phenomena ie reality, reality ie phenomena.
There are "triangles counterpart" is due to the magical charm of grace. Discriminant magic and the General who generates birth the reason why. The contentment is the most remarkable in the teachings of the United States. According to it, the difference between the legs, except the crazy island that makes the mind pure, to the same realities, is liberation.

5. True Foot

This is based on the Great Sutra, which is called the True Foot, or Tantra. Asanga Tathagata passed to Kim-cang-slap-fit. Rhythm-slap-transmission for Nagarjuna, Nagarjuna transmitted to Long Tri, Long Tri transmitted to Diamond Cu, Tri Cuong together with No Air around the Road to bring this card to China.
The main line of the Marxist theory is geography, water, fire, room, not, wake, this six is the entity of the universe. The universe is considered as the universe, the figure appears called general, the language appears, the action called the great. In the universe there is nothing out there, great generals, great use. Called the foot as taking the reason of the six that abstracted out. In addition to six, not see where the legs are like.
The liberation of the Shingon is in the "self to become a Buddha," so remove all attachment, according to the activities of the Great Self. The method of liberation of this card is three bile, ie body, mouth and mind.

Zen Buddhism

Zen does not discuss the universe, only the owner of the bridge is free. The Zen Master does not bind the text, so only the mind transmits it. Reality of the universe belongs to the intuitive domain. If the text that explains is all fall into the phenomenon of gender, can not reach the real. If you do not meditate intuitively, you can not tell the truth.

7. Pure tone

The Pure Land takes refuge in Pure Land as the purpose, and recites the Life Sutra, the Infinite Life and  Amitabha Purely from the unknown, just see in the scriptures say the Bodhisattva, Long Shu and The Shrine recommend that one should practice Pure Land.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/5/2018.
