The basic teachings of Buddhism.

Let's try to look at what is happening in the world today. In our world, are there enough people to know what is at the core of Buddhist teaching? And many of them have brought out the effective application of the core?

I hope you will grasp what is " the core of Buddhist teaching ." In this talk today, if I raise the question: " What is the essence of Buddhist teaching? " I will definitely receive countless opposing answers, none of which is the same. Anything. Each responds according to what they learn or hear, or by their own deductions.

Let's try to look at what is happening in the world today. In our world, are there enough people to know what is at the core of Buddhist teaching? And many of those who have applied effectively to the core? If the question of what the heart of Buddhism is, then some people will say that it is Four Noble Truths (Four Noble Truths) ), others refer to it as aniccamdukkhamanatta (ie, the Three Signs or Three Basic Principles of Buddhism): aniccam: impermanence, dukkha: suffering or non-virtue, manatta: no self. Note that many of the scriptures also suggest a fourth sign of nibbanâ or nibbāna) and others read the following verses:

Sabba pipassa akaranam
Kusalassupasampada
Sacitta pariyodapanam
Etam Buddhanasasanam

(that is, "do not do bad things, just do good, purify your mind, that is the essence of the Buddha's teachings.")

All the above answers are true, But only partially, just because people only answer by heart, but forget to self-verification with their own experience whether true or not.

To emphasize the essence of Buddhist teaching, I would like to remind you again of the very simple statement of the Buddha: " Do not cling to anything."In the Majjhima Nikaya it is reported that one day a person came to pay homage to the Buddha and asked him to summarize his teaching with a brief statement, and if so, The Buddha replied that he could do that and said the following: " Sabbe dhamma nalam abhinivesaya " means " not to cling to anything " ("Sabbe dhamma" Anything else, "nalam" is not allowed, "abhinivesaya" clings to it.) The Buddha also emphasized the importance of this sentence by adding that if one hears these words it also means is to hear all the teachings,And if anyone receives the fruit of that practice (not clinging to anything else) it also means receiving all the fruits of his teaching.

If one is able to grasp the truth in these teachings perfectly - absolutely not clinging to anything - he or she will no longer suffer from the bacteria that cause craving, Ignorance and ignorance infiltrate, these are the diseases that lead to wrong actions, whether in the body, in words or in the mind. Therefore, whenever there is a form, a sound, an odor, a taste, a collision or a psychic phenomenon, the antibody "is not clinging to anything". Help prevent infection immediately.

Bacteria can not penetrate, or they can be left to infiltrate them in order to kill them more easily. Anyway, bacteria will not be able to multiply and cause disease, because antibodies in humans are always trying to destroy them. Indeed, that antibody has an unparalleled and permanent effect. And that is the core of Buddhist teaching, of all Dhamma. Do not cling to anything!

Anyone who has done so can be considered as having made his own antibody that will neutralize all the effects of mental illness and cause it to end. He will no longer have the disease to make him suffer with it anymore. But for the case of an idiot who does not understand the essence of the teaching of the Buddha, it is quite different: he has no resistance at all.

At this point you probably know what the meaning of "spiritual illness" is and who the doctor is healing the disease. But only when I was aware that I was sick, then I really thought about the cure and use of medication adapting. If you are not aware that you are sick, then you still live and pick up what you like. It is like a person with TB or lung cancer who is worried about not care about healing until some time is all late, he will not avoid death from the disease. his cause.

Do not get caught up in such stupid things! Always follow the instructions of the Buddha: " Do not neglect"It is very hard for us to realize that we are suffering from mental illness and that we have discovered the" bacteria "that cause our illness. To insist on the right and persevere, you will definitely receive in this life the best things human beings can have . END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTENMENT.VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.24/5/2018.
