Keep and nurture good seeds.
Our mind has two parts: the consciousness is the place to store the seeds, and the conscious part is where the seeds are. For example, we have a seed of anger. When the conditions are full, the seeds discover a capacity called anger. It burns me and hurts me. I am no longer happy when that seed is found on my consciousness.
Whenever an appearance arises, anger raises the seeds of anger in our consciousness. If the anger lasts for five minutes, how many seeds of anger are generated during those five minutes.
So we have to be very careful to choose our lifestyle as well as our emotions. When we smile, the seeds of happiness are revealed. When exposed, it sows more seeds to cheerfulness. If we do not practice laughing for years, the seed will be weak and we will no longer be able to laugh.
It contains all seeds, good as well as bad. Some are cultivated in daily life, some are given by parents and by society. A tiny grain of rice contains the knowledge of how many generations of rice in how to shoot, blossom, flower and form rice. The body and mind are the same, handed over to us from many generations, parents and grandparents have planted in us so many seeds of joy, happiness and the seeds of suffering, angry.
Every time we practice mindfulness we cultivate and strengthen the healthy seeds that are already in us. These seeds as well as antibodies. When a bacterium enters our bloodstream, our body immediately reacts, the antibodies that run up the bacteria around it must be deformed.
Also, if we have healthy fresh seeds, these seeds will know how to deal with bad seeds without having to wait. So, what we need to do is reserve a lot of good seeds.
One day, we heard our neighbor, Mr. Mounet, passed away. He is French and lives in Hong Village. He was a nice gentleman, he helped us a lot in building the village. He died in the night with heart disease, and the next morning we were convinced. Listening to us very dazed, as well as feeling remorse did not let much time and contact with him.

Now all three trees are big and very beautiful. Every time I walk meditation I stop to both hug and watch the breath. I believe the trees also respond to my hug. In the blanket, I practice breathing and find myself as both a tree and a breath. I feel more comfortable but still can not sleep. Finally I think of Trúc. She came to the village at the age of two, she was very cautious so everyone wanted to hold, want to hold, especially the children. She is six years old now. Everybody's hands are fresh as a baby. So I invited you to show up in my consciousness. I breathed and smiled to her. A moment later I fell asleep.
Each of us should have a stockpile of healthy, beautiful and strong seeds so that when we have trouble, they can help us. Sometimes the pain is so great, even if there is a flower before our eyes do not enjoy it. But if we have a stockpile of healthy seeds, we can invite them to help us. Just as I have a close friend who knows and loves me, I sit near him, though I do not speak a single word, I still feel good. And the hard times I usually think about that person to "both" the same breath and I feel more comfortable.
If we do not meet the other person for a long time, the image of that person may fade. And if he is the only one who can help us, we can only buy a train ticket to meet him. He will appear in the flesh and not in the subconscious. Time is near him, we must know to live for awhile, do not spend a moment, because we did not have a long time with him, the reason is that we still have to go home. He helps us regain balance, but we must also give us solidity inside, otherwise when we return to ourselves, we feel good again.
