If we didn't search for anything, how would we meet the Dharma?VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.

Answer:  Anywhere you look is Dharma - build houses, walk on the main road, stay in the bathroom, or in this meditation hall, ..., all are Dharma. When you understand correctly, there is nothing in this world that is not Dharma.

But you must understand that happiness and suffering, joy and sadness are always with us. When you understand their nature, Buddha and Dharma are right here. When you see clearly, every moment of experience is Dharma. But most of us react in a delusion. Before pleasure, "I like this; I want to be more. ” And to what is not pleasing, "Go away, I don't like that; I don't want anymore. ” If you completely open your eyes to all the happenings of the world without the deluded attitude as above, you and Buddha will be one.

Once you understand it, it's just a simple and direct matter. When pleasure arises, understand that it is not us, ours. When suffering arises, it should also be understood that it is not ours, ours, suffering or pleasure disappears. If you do not accept the phenomena that occur, do not identify them with yourself, do not consider them to be your own possession, the mind will attain a state of balance. This balance is the right path, the teachings of the Buddha, leading to liberation.

Often we expect, "Can I reach this or that meditation stage?" or, "What capacity can I develop?" Thus, we have disregarded the teachings of the Buddha to jump to another area which is really not useful at all. If you really want to, you can find Buddha in the simplest things before your eyes, and you can attain the essence of this balance with renunciation.

As a first step to practice, it is important that you take the appropriate path. Instead of just wandering, wherever you go, you must have a good map or be guided by someone who has walked on this road. The path of liberation, which the Buddha was the first to instruct, is the Middle Way, between two extremes: beneficial and ascetic. The mind must expand before all experiences, without losing balance or falling into extremes.

So, you will see things with the natural mind, neither attachment nor splatter. When understanding this balance, the Dao will gradually become clear. When understanding develops when pleasure comes, you immediately understand it is impermanent, insecure and empty. When sadness and despair come, you see them as such: impermanence, insecurity and emptiness.

Finally, when you have reached a certain distance on the road, you will see clearly that there is nothing valuable in the world, nothing to hold. Everything is like banana peel or coconut shell, nothing attractive. When you see everything in the world are banana peels and coconut husks, you will be free to walk in this world, nothing that frustrates you. At that time you have walked on the path to liberation. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/6/2020.
