In fact, it is not preaching among the masses as a messenger of Tathagata. She understood it simply when she gave her friend a friendly smile, at the right time, with an intellectual and compassionate mind. That is the "Tathagata messenger" already.

Understand like that, a fresh flower bud in the middle of the garden offers life for a few minutes of peace, not for fame, not for profit, and also the embodiment of Tathagata.

If you only recognize yourself as a "teacher" or "coach", it only means the ability of a degree or certificate of life. And maybe since then, I have not seen the greatness of what we do. And sometimes I am too enthusiastic. I'm in a hurry, hustle and bustle, leading people to where I don't know. How I am, I don't know myself. Therefore, she wants to remind that when standing on the podium guided by Zen, she must realize that she is doing a noble and heavy duty, the <messenger of the Tathagata> so that I can be solemn, careful, in style Thai, in words, and especially with the mind "wisdom and compassion." Ie the pure mind, serving life. Not with the mentality of "teaching or coaching", teaching or training others.

She returned to the topic. Thus, in short Tathagata Messenger needs two virtues: wisdom and compassion. Or can also say wisdom and virtue.

How can these two requirements be achieved in a 10-day retreat, or 1 or 2 or 3 months, or more, in a few years? This, you probably understand. Buddha was the same.

In Buddha's time, those who achieved the ultimate goal, were not easy. Even if in a short time, like Mahà Moggalàna, Sariputta, Upàli, etc. All of them have had a long time of preparation, from so many past lives, and to this life, they have had a good base, giving up the predestined world When meeting the Buddha, their minds were like pure white paper.

That said, does not mean that she is pessimistic for us. I just want to remind you that many of us have been following the monk for 25 years. Or 15 years, or 10 years, or 5 years. We have heard, remembered, known what is on this spiritual path. What is the core? How do I learn? Practicing what? How have I become a better person? How is my mind now? How does my mind now understand?

So do you need to repeat the knowledge you have learned over and over again? Because I just give you the knowledge only. Just like the map directions. You must understand and practice it in your own life ...

The Buddha once said, in the Sutta of Ganaka Moggallana:

 <I'm just a guide.>.

"- Similarly, Brahmin, while present in Nirvana, while there is the way to Nirvana, and in my presence, I am the guide.

But My disciples, being taught by me like that, teach me like this, some of them are destined for Nirvana, some not.

Here, Brahmin, what can we do? Tathagata is only a guide. "

She lived the days frugally, quietly and leisurely in To Dinh. Outside life stream like? That is the eternal story of life   

It's not now that we get old, sick, and die? It's not right now there is competition, conflict, war? Not now there is hatred and tears?

If I understand why? then I know how to live? And I will know want to be a "Tathagata messenger", what should I do?

However, to speak more clearly, she would like to present, also a reminder of the Buddha, the Patriarch, the Teacher.

- Why does the sutta not refer to moral or moral conditions? In fact, in the Cross of Bodhisattva, has analyzed very carefully. From the first stages of cultivation, it is already cultivating virtue. For example:

Wanting to know if I am on the right path or not, I look back to see if I am in harmony with my small family, whether I live in harmony with the people around me, and bring peaceful solidarity for the sangha together have you studied yet? This is very difficult to identify, just because my ignorant self always thinks I'm right, I am better than others. So this is another important requirement: <Self-Degree - Parole>. Not yet trained his mind, how to train others' minds.

In conclusion, all require intellect. Intellect has many levels, and most intellect comes from birth, or has sharp faculties.

The wisdom to know how to win me back when I go overboard. The intellect to spend time training oneself for further progress. When complacent, stop standing. Intellect to be able to confidently step on the podium and be able to answer all questions.

 Intellect must have, once we truly understand the meaning and experience of merging the realities of self and of the world. Therefore, About- Dinh-Tue is One. When we have samadhi, we have to develop the wisdom, and the moral precepts are also transformed.

And finally, when there is really wisdom, it appears that the spirit is calm, clear, pure, agile and healthy, teaching the teachings fluently and accurately, expressing the true intentions of Buddha and Patriarch in style. your own, rather than memorizing or reading other people have prepared for you.

Wisdom is the gateway to the responsibility of "the messenger of Tathagata".
