According to the Āriyapariyesana sutta, after the enlightenment, the Buddha wondered whether to turn the dharma wheel or to manifest Nirvana. Because he contemplates and contemplates deeply into the dharma that he can prove to be deep, wonderful, noble, supreme reasoning, only the wise will understand ... Most sentient beings because of the passion for sex are difficult see the law of dependent origination, it is hard to see the truth of all actions, the pure President ... A doctrine that only wise people understand, only those who are separated from tranquility will be enlightened, they will try to ask in the world. how many people?

The sutras record that during the 7 weeks or 49 days after enlightenment, the Buddha did not give teachings to anyone, he just remained in meditation, utterly silent like a broken string in a hoarse voice, legs crossed in Lotus-like posture, still standing steadfastly like jelly paint, mind residing in the wisdom of the hybrid which is constant in every phenomenon.

On the second week  after reaching enlightenment, the Buddha stared at the Bodhi tree without blinking his eyes to show his gratitude to the tree. This proves that the Buddha has attained the five eyes (lust, heavenly eye, wisdom, dharma and Buddha eye).

The third week,  the Buddha performed miracles to go to the vast ocean, showing that he has accomplished 4 ways to perform miracles of wish, effort, thought and analysis.

Week 4,  the Buddha traveled all three heavenly heavenly world, this is to show that he has achieved infinite magical power.

There are three types of magical power corresponding to three levels of spiritual attainment:

1) Spiritual power by aspiration such as a practitioner wants to walk on water and the surface of the water turns into flat land;

2) Spiritual material transformation can only be achieved by the Bodhisattva's taste, such as flying in the sky like a bird in the sky;

3) Wisdom is only attained by a Buddha,  for example, Buddha can move through time and space unobstructed by the profound and miraculous power of enlightened mind. To show that even the first two types of magical powers require spiritual training and attainment at a very high level, while Buddha attained the wisdom of the mind, he has the ability to travel throughout the three heaven in the world within a week without any effort.

Week 5,  Buddha went down to the deep sea kingdom of the serpent to visit Tanzung, the god of snakes.

Week 6,  the Buddha spent time with an outsider dwelling under the spacious, cool leaves of the Neydroda tree.

On the seventh week , two brothers who injured merchants Tapussa and Bhallika were extremely fortunate to meet Buddha. During that week, under the canopy of Tarahetu (almost like an oak tree), they offered food and honey to Him. After each life expectancy, Buddha prayed and blessed them. And He also predicted that in the future the two cousins would become Buddhahood.

Also on the 7th week of enlightenment, the Buddha said to himself, "I have found a valuable dharma like nectar, even profoundly miraculous, leading to great bliss and perfect light. But even if we preach, no one can understand it, so we should stay in this forest and keep silent forever. ”

But then He thought, "If an ordinary person requests, even if we are the embodiment of compassion, we will not pass on the dharma. However, because everyone has faith in the Brahma, if he asks, we will turn the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of all sentient beings. ”
