The Selfless Sutta
Anattalakkhana sutta.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.
--oOo--
One time, at the time of the Blessed One's dwelling in the Deer Park, in the Land of the Gods of Heaven (Isipatana), near Bala Nai (Benares), he taught the group of five bhikkhus as follows:
- Hey O bhikkhus!
- Bach Su The Ton, five of you answered.
Then the Buddha taught:
-This O bhikkhus, rupa (rupa, body, body) is anattā (without a soul [2]). Behold, bhikkhus, if there is falls in the rupas, then rupas do not have to suffer. This color has to be like this or like that , similar walls can happen. But because rupa has no self, this rupa has to suffer and there is no case: it must be like this, or it must be like that [3] .
In the same way, feeling (vedana), thought (sanna), onion (samkhara) and consciousness (vinnana) are non-self [4].
So what does Bhikkhu think, is this body often or impermanent?
-World Religion, is impermanent (anicca).
- What is impermanence is suffering or happiness?
- World Religion is suffering.
- So, is it reasonable to think of something impermanent, miserable and transient with the idea: This is mine, this is me, this is my self?
- Bach Duc The Ton, certainly not reasonable.
-The same way, O bhikkhus, feeling, thought, action, consciousness, are impermanent and suffering. Thus, there is a reasonable budget if thinking of something impermanent, suffering and precarious with the idea: This is mine, this is mine, this is my self [5] ?
- White Blessed One, certainly not reasonable.
- Thus, O bhikkhus:
All rupas, whether in the past, present or future, inside or outside, gross or subtle, vile or noble, far or near, must be perceived according to its true form - --- This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self.
All sensations, thoughts, actions, consciousness, whether in the past, present or future, inside or outside, rough or subtle, vile or noble, far or near, must be realized. according to its true form ---- This is not mine, this is not me, this is not my self.
The Saints who have learned the dharma, then find it boring, feeling, feeling, acting, awakening, giving up, not loving what is not likable and, because of that abandonment, be liberated. Then the vision became clear ---- " I was liberated ". He understood that the stream of samsara has ended, that the virtuous life has been achieved, the things to do have been fulfilled in a complete way, no longer returning to this state.
The Blessed One explained so and the Bhikkhu Khưu took joy, praised His teachings.
When the Buddha finished preaching the Dharma, the mind of the five bhikkhus became completely pure, free of any pollution [6]. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.22/10/2019.
