In the land of the king of Persia, at the foot of a mountain, there was a settled village named  Mātika . After receiving the topic of meditation from Buddha, one day sixty monks went to alms village. The mother of the village chief  Mika  saw immediately invited the monks to sit, offered a special porridge cooked very well with selected spices, and inquired. Knowing the Bhikkhu-stilts find a suitable place to settle down in the rainy season, she threw herself down at their feet and asked:
- Bhikkhu-stilts here to settle for three months down, I will observe the Three Precepts and the Five Precepts, and will fulfill my duty on Lent.
The monks accepted. With the help of her grandmother, they will not worry about eating and drinking, and can attain liberation from samsara.
Mātika 's mother  finished  building the semen, and took the monks to stay. They remind each other:
- Brothers! We should not be distracted, because in front of us are the eight gates of hell that are as wide open as our doors. We have received the topic of meditation from the Blessed One and have come here. The grace of the Buddhas cannot come to the liar, even if he follows in their footsteps. Only when doing the Buddha's teaching will they be blessed. So we have to pay attention to awareness. Two monks are not allowed to stand or sit together. We only had to meet in the afternoon to serve the Elder and early in the morning before begging for alms. Other times, we must not gather two people. If a bhikkhu is ill, take him to the front of the monastery and ring the bell, then we will gather to treat.
Everyone agrees.
One afternoon Mātika 's mother   brought butter, molasses and other food and servants to the monastery. Unable to see the monks, she was surprised to inquire and learned that the monks had rules together, and she was advised to ring the bell if they wanted to meet them. When the bell rang, thought someone was sick. The monks from their own place to meet in front of the courtyard, no two monks to the same road. The laity saw that they guessed they quarreled, so worshiping them, they immediately asked,
- Have you quarreled?
- No way, layman.
- So why, when you come to our house, did you all go together but now everyone from his own place to each one?
- Layman! We are meditating in a private retreat.
- What is meditation?
- We cultivate thirty-two factors of the body, from which the awareness of the destruction lies within the body.
- False religion, only they are allowed to practice, are we allowed?
- This practice does not forbid anyone, laity!
- So please teach false religion to me.
- Very good!
When she finished studying, she immediately began practicing on the thirty-two factors of the body. As a result, before the Bhikkhu-stilts, she proved the results of An-na function four and other supernormal powers higher.
From the bliss of direct result, because she wanted to know when the Bhikkhu-stilts witnessed, she used the Heavenly Eye to look and see that they were still tied in greed, not meditating but still had not attained Insight. wisdom. She wondered if they could afford Arahantship and saw that they did. Is the accommodation appropriate or not? Hearing. Are fellow practitioners worthy or not? Yes. Is the food sufficient or not? Not enough.
From there she provided the monks with various types of porridge to pick up all the hard and soft food, to taste it with many selected spices. The Bhikkhu-stilts receive good food, the mind becomes quiet, and due to their retreats, they open up insight, Arahantship and magical powers.
At the end of the time of settling down, the Tu Tu ceremony was completed, the monks retired from  Mātika  to visit World Religion. She saw off a part of the road and demanded that they settle back next year.
Arrived Xa-defense, the Bhikkhu-stilts pay homage to the Sun and respectfully sat on one side. Buddha inquired:
- Monks! They look healthy, well-fed, and not worried about eating.
The monks say:
- We are healthy, white World Religion, fully nourished and from preoccupation about eating is thanks to Mātika 's mother to  know our mind. She cooks exactly what we think of.
A Bhikkhu-stilts heard his brother praised the characteristics of the lay host, wanting to go there. He received the topic of meditation from the Blessed One and asked to go. Leaving States, he went to the village of  Mika . Entering the monastery, he began to think that this laywoman, knowing that other people's minds would understand that we would be unable to clean the road tiredly, and that she would certainly give the translator. As expected she sent people to. And so on this Bhikkhu-stilts means drinking water, drinking water, thinking about porridge with lots of butter and delicious food right away, if you want to have hard food also, even want to meet the laity with soft food. seasoning with selected spices, she brought it immediately. When he finished eating, the bhikkhu asked her:
- Layman, you are Mātika 's mother  ?
- Yes
- Do you know what other people mean?
- Why did you ask me that?
- Because she gave me everything I wanted.
- There are many monks who know the mind of others.
- I did not ask others, I asked her.
Ms.  Mikaika  avoided confirming that she could read the mind of others, instead saying:
- Those who do not know what other people do.
The monk felt confused. He thought: "Those who have yet to witness have all secret ideas that can be noble or miserable. If we start thinking of a sinful thought, surely she is like clogs in my stomach, she will hold my apex immediately. , both caught and caught as if catching a thief, oh stop harming! The next thirty-six just slip away is best. "
He immediately retired from the lay house, returned to the Blessed One, and told the story. The Ton advised:
- Bhikkhu-stilts, only the place where he needs to stay.
- I can't, Bach The Ton! I don't want to stay there anymore.
- So bhikkhus! Can you keep an eye on the only thing?
- What does it mean, White World Religion?
- Just watch his mind. The mind is very difficult to control. Thinking about something else, tame your mind because the mind is often agitated.
And he said the Dhammapada:
(35) Difficult to hold, to despair,
According to the whirling sex,
Heal, subduing the mind,
Mind, peace to.
Then The Blessed taught the Bhikkhu-stilts to continue to return to the old place, and should not worry about anything other than watching his mind. The lay woman knew before the Bhikkhu-stilts were about to return, so he prepared good food to offer, and in just a few days he witnessed Arahantship. Tasting the dharma of fruition and a gratitude to the laywoman, he wanted to know if she had helped her in the past. He remembered ninety-nine lifetimes and found that she had been his wife, but he had feelings for another man, and she had killed him. How cruel!
The laity sitting at home observing the Bhikkhu-stilts who have attained salvation, and also knows that he remembers ninety-nine past lives and has known her cruel mind in the past. Then she remembered that in the hundredth lifetime she was his wife, and in the circumstances of having to kill her husband, she spared his life. She immediately told the Bhikkhu-stilts to remember past lives further and observe the incident. Thanks to natural atrium, the Bhikkhu-stilts heard her and follow. He realized that the lay lady had helped him a lot. He answers to her laity issues related to Arahantship. After that, he entered the Nirvana y Nirvana.
