At N Lan-Da there was an ascetic sect  ,  headed by  Ni-kien Than-Tu, he had thousands of disciples, and some called him a saint; The  Buddha then  traveled  to Na-lan-Da, and dwelt in the Ba-ba-Ly mango garden.

One day, there was a great disciple of Ni-kien Than-Tu, Ni-kien Truong, after lunch time,  leisurely  went to the  Buddha , greeted,  Buddha  asked:

- The  ascetic  Ni-kien Than-Tu, his teacher advocates many  acts  to not commit  bad karma  ?

- My guru does not teach  behaviors in  order not to cause  bad karma , but he teaches  punishment  for not doing evil deeds.

Buddha  asked:

- How much punishment does your teacher advocate   to stop doing evil?

- My guru teaches about the three  punishments  caused by body, by mouth, and by will for not doing evil.

- Is the punishment, penalty, and punishment different?

- For  us : the body  is punished , the voice  is punished , and  the thought of  being punished  is different.

- He he advocated  punishment  heavier than before,  punished  yet more light out?

- Ton-Master, I advocated that the punishment would be heavier than most so that I would not do evil, the password would be lighter, the punishment would be the lightest, not equal to the body would be very heavy and heavy, why? For if one person steals another person  's  money and wealth , he or she  is  found guilty of a serious crime, if he or she only says stole but has not stole  a lesser crime  ; And if he does not steal, do not say stole, just think of stealing only, misdemeanor, almost  not  guilty.

- You said your punishment was the heaviest, right?

- Yes, the worst punishment.

Buddha : ask it three times like that, Ni-hopea School go meet  responded  three times  confirmed  as such, he went  to sit still  quietly.

Then Ni-kien Truong also followed the above questions and asked the Buddha 's intention  , then he  answered :

- We do not preach about the  punishment  for not operating (body, mouth,  thought ) of  bad karma , but only  preaching  about  bad karma . We preach on the  three karmas , that is  body ,  speech , and  karma , and advocate that  karma  is the heaviest. We advocate and  preach  differently than Ni-kien Than-Tu, Ton-his teacher.

Ni-kien Truong: also asked three times about the Buddha 's policy   is  the  most severe karma , he  answered  that the karma  is the heaviest;  After the evaluation , Ni-Kien Truong  stood up  and saluted.

When he  arrived , Ni-Body-Prince saw Ni-kien Truong, then asked:

- Where are you from?

- I come from Ba-Bà-Ly mango garden, home of Sa-keeper Cồn-Đàm here.

- Do you have a discussion with Sa-keeper Sa-Dam   ?

- Ladies have  discussed  together .

- Hey, if he has the same recluses  discussion , tell all to hear, that I learned  treatise  by him.

At that time, Ni-kien Truong brought all the facts to his Master, and when he heard that, he complimented:

- Or rather! He Chun-associate for lawful made of a filed-mail, and are a measure of  wisdom  to  decide  intelligent ,  calm , not  fear , confidence; He has  attained  eloquence, caught the wind of the  highway , and in  the realm of  orange road , self  -  realization,  the attainment of  abiding, why? Because just before he confronted Sa-subject Cu-Đàm said the theory of the worst punishment for not doing evil, the password was not so heavy, the penalty was even worse, not equal to the biggest,  most serious punishment  .

At that time,  Si-U-Ba-Ly and five hundred-Members of the sitting house listened to such a thing, then  stood up and  clapped his hands  toward Ni-kan-tu-death, then turned to tell Ni-kien Truong that:

- He has three times  appraised  Sa-subject Cu-Đàm, is that really so?

Ni-Kien Truong replied:

-Professor-Uu-ba-Ly, I personally appraised  Sa-Dam-Sa-subjects three times  , that's right.

Layman Ushba said:

- I can also go there to  appraise the  Sa-Đàm subject, then drag anywhere you  want . I was like an athlete holding the long mane of a goat, then dragging me wherever I  wanted . I, as well as the person holding the dust coat, can come to  appraise  Sa-Cù-Đàm three times, and then drag anywhere you  want . Just as a proud elephant  , enough ivory, full body, strong tendons, a strong force led, took water to wash around, and jokingly played in the water, and when he wanted to lead, he went; I went to Sa-Cù-Đàm topic and discussed with him  , after the  surrender  , I will  be back  shortly.

Ni-kien Than-Tu says:

- We can  subjugate  Sa-subject Cu-Đàm, Ni-kiền Trường can  subdue  Sa-Môn-Đàm, Ca-Uri-Ba-Ly can also  serve  Sa-Mon-Đàm.

Then Ni-kien Truong hastily said:

-I do not want to let the Unforgettable School-U-Ba-Ly because Sa-subject Cu-Đàm could use the art of  transforming the  Si-Si into his disciple.

Ni-kien Than-Tu says:

- The Unforthgoing One, who is  transformed  into a disciple of Sa-Đàm, it is  completely  impossible; Sa-subject Cu-Đàm was  transformed into  a disciple of the Unforthgoing Upasaka, this  certainly  has.

Residential-doctoral Pros-three-Ly three times said he wanted to place the Buddha to  surrender  is complete will  return , Ni-hopea School three times  prevented  not want to Cu-Si type, Ni-biased body-Tzu  left  three  copper intention  to Upasaka-three-Ly go. Ni-kien Than-Tu affirmed that: "There is no  case of the  Unforthgoing One, who is  transformed  into a disciple of Cu-Dam, but only  the case of  Cu-Dam being  transformed  into a disciple of Layman-only, "and Ni-kien Than-Tu told Lay-U-Ba-Ly:

- You should go now lest you lose your chance.

At that time, the  Lama Uri-three-Ly   bowed his hands in front of Ni-kien Than-Tu to pray three times, then went to the Buddha, greeted him, sat aside and said:

- Dear Cu-Đàm, is Ni-kien Truong coming here today?

- Cu-Si, Ni-kien Truong is a disciple of Ni-kien Than-Tu has come here.

- Is Cu-Đàm with him to  discuss  ?

- Have the same  conversation .

- If there is a  discussion , then please Cu-Dam reported to me, so that I know that to  learn .

The Buddha  recounts all the words  discussed , like the words Ni-kien Truong reported, to the Unforthgoing Dharma -Hearer Ba-Ly, then heard and then complimented and said the same  as  the Ni-kien Than- Tu praised Ni-kien-Trường that:

"Ni-hopea lawful School did a filed-mail to Ton-associate  us , Ni-hopea Where are the measures by  intelligence  with  decision  intelligent ,  calm , not  fear , confidence; He has  reached the  eloquence, the wind caught the  orange route , he is in  the realm of  orange highway , auto  body stock  compensation, and  achievements  remain, why so? Ni-biased because of previous cases recluse Cu-Talkie said body theory heaviest penalty for not doing evil, not heavy penalties such export, the penalty as inferior, not by itself a very big punishment, very  severe; How interesting, how interesting . "

Then  the Buddha  said:

-Soci, I want to discuss with him   about this, if  an stay  (base) in  the truth , then by  the truth  that answer.

- Yes, I  dwell  in  the truth , Cu-Dam also  dwells  in  the truth , with  the truth  ; Cù-Đàm join me  in discussing  this.

- Si-ren, what do you think? If there is a Ni-Kien-like  alms , not like to  comment  (not like to discuss for fun), very  pure ,  specialized practice  notes ( training  practice ); if he came here and killed many large and small insects, how did Ni-kien Than-Tu, Master of Cu-Si, have the effect of  killing  this policy?

- If the person  intentionally  , there is a big crime,  if not  intentionally  , there is  a small crime .

- Lay-artist, what do you mean  deliberately  ?

- That's  karma  .

- Cu-Si, you should  think  carefully and  answer , the things that  speak first are  contrary to  the statements after, after the  contrary to  before, do not  match  each other. Cu-Si, what do you think, if Ni-Kien  vows  to drink hot water, cold water is completely gone. When there was no hot water, he drank cold water, when he drank cold water he immediately died; ni-kien Than-Tu, how can your Master talk about Ni-Kien's birthplace?

- There is a type of Heaven called Italy-Before, the Ni-Kien that his life is all due to the  attachment  that was born to   Italy-Previous heaven .

-Soci, you should  think  carefully then  answer , what he just said  contrary to  what he  said before  , before  and  after the contrary does not  match  each other. Cu-Si think,  assuming  there is a user-doctoral sword sharp, he said:  "In just one day, I beheaded, skinned, dismembered all  the people  in the land of Na-nan-Da this is heaped up like a mountain like a mountain. ”  Do you think that person can accomplish it in one day?

- Impossible, because this land is so crowded, so he can not in one day that can cut the head, skin, cut limbs of  everyone  in this land of Norway-Da Nang, then piled into a high pile like a mountain.

- Cu-Si, what do you think, if there is Sa-Mon or Pham-Chi, who has a mind-like mind, a great dread-virtue, a great blessing, a great dread-mind, a free mind  , a person He said:  "I have just started to recite one anger (anger), which makes this whole Netherland-Da burning up to ashes." Do you  think that Sa-Mon or Pham-Chi can do that?

- It is not only this land of  Na-Lan-Da , not two or three or  four of this land of Lan-Da; who has such  triumphant climaxes   , if he initiates an angry thought that can make  the people  of the country burn down to ashes, let alone this one of the Netherlands.

- Cu-Si, please  think  carefully and  answer , what he  said first  is  contrary to  what he said later, after  contrary to  before, does not  match  each other , do not go  together . Cu-Si, have you heard of Dai-Trach forest, Ky Lan forest, Me-Loc forest, Tich-Tinh forest, Khong-Da forest, why are those forests forests?

- Sir, I heard people say.

- Cu-Si, why do those areas  become  forests, for whom does that forest?

Then Cu-doctoral Pros-three-Ly  silent  no answer, once,  the Buddha  said:

- Cu-Si please  answer  , now is not the time to  be silent , because he himself said : "I  settle  in  the truth , Cu-Dam also  resides  in  the truth , with  the truth  that answers, Cu. girder let me  discuss  it. "

Layman-U-Ba-Ly  silent  for a moment and then said:

- Dear Cu-Đàm, I am not  silent  but just  thinking  for a moment about  this meaning  . Dear Cu-Đàm, the foolish Ni-Kien people   do not  understand clearly  , cannot solve, cannot know; they don't know the good field without  looking at themselves, they keep deceiving me, I'm  deluded  by them. Now because of the teachings of Cu-Đàm, I understand the meaning, because  the ancestors  started a concept that can make those areas  become  forests.

Then Si-Si continued:

- Exalted Sir, I know that, because of your guidance, I understand. Today I would like to take refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and them Bhikkhus. Bowing World Religion-  accepting  for you to become U-Lady Tac (Residential-Si) from now  until  death.

Buddha  said:

- Cu-Si, you should   do it silently , should not  declare , the  silence  of   such a winner is  good .

-Dear-Ton, with  this event  , I  am more than happy , because the World-Ton has  accepted  and said:  "Layman, you should   do it silently , should not  declare , your  silence  .   such hostility is good . ” Exalted Sir, if I were a disciple of Sa-Mon or other Pham-Chi, they would have organized  franticly , waving a flag, though the parasols went to  declare  all over the land of Na-Lan-Da, they said so. This:  "Upasaka-Ba-Ly is my disciple! Layman-U-Ba-Ly is my disciple! ”But World Religion is different from them, different from them like heaven and earth. From now on, I will no longer let Ni-Kien go into my house, I will no longer let Ni-kien Than-Tu and his disciples into my home; only the Blessed One and the  four  disciples (Bhikkhu-stilts, Bhikkhu-stilts Ni, Uu-she Tac, Uu-she Di) of World-Ton into my home only.

-See-Si, the other Ni-Kien and his family-revered each other for  a  long time , if they have to him should  depending on their  ability to  offer  them.

-Dear-Ton, with  this saying  , with  this event  , with respect to-Ton, I am more  revered ,  rejoice . Sir-Ton, the day before I heard people say-Ton said,  "Should give me, do not give to others, should give to my disciples, not to disciples of others; If you give to you and your disciple, you will be greatly blessed, to give to others and to other disciples will not be blessed. "  Sir-Ton, is that right?

- Cu-Si, I do not say so, but say like this:  "For all the  mind  -joy, but for those who are not  diligent , not happy, are not blessed greatly, for those who are  diligent and committed -hanh ( austerities  ) will be blessed. "

-Ladies-Ton, I pray will not do anything to them, I know whether to  give or  not for Ni-Kien. Dear Lord-Ton,  once  again, I would like to take  refuge in Buddha , Dharma and them Bhikkhu-stilts, bow and ask The-Ton to take me as U-Lady Tac (Cu-Si)  for the rest of my  life .

After saying this, Uu-Ushi bowed his head to  the Buddha , went around three times, and then  went back  home, when he saw the gatekeepers of the Jāmen said:

- You should know, starting today, I am a disciple of Buddha, also called The-Ton, or Sa-Mon Cu-Dam. From now on, do not let the Ni-Kien go into the door, only the four  disciples of World-Ton-monks, Bhikkhu-stilts, Bhikkhuni Ni, Uu-she Tac and Uu-she Di into the door  never mind. If Ni-Kien went to the door to ask, they said,  "Venerable, Venerable U-Ba-Ly received  the teachings  of Buddha and became a disciple of Sa-Dam, so no let Ni-Kien go in again ”;  If Ni-Kien  begged  , told them to wait, and told the man to bring them rice.

The next day, Ni-kien Truong  heard :  “The Unforthgoing One has received  the teachings  of Sa-Dam. Cu-Si ordered the monks not to enter into the door, but only to the disciples of the Mon-Dam-Sa-Mon only to enter, "  he immediately told Ni-kien Than-Tu:

-Dear Master, this is what I  said before  that Should not let Ca-Uu Ba-Ly-Ly to Sa-Dam Cu-Mon, for fear of the Unforthgoing States will be  turned  into a disciple of Sa- subjects. Now true as it is, the Unforthgoing Si-ba-Ly has been  transformed  into a disciple of Sa-Dam-Sa-subject; At the moment, the  Dharma Master forbids the Ni-Kiens from entering, but only the disciples of Sa-Dam-Sa-keeper.

Hearing the  disciple  say, Ni-kien Than-Tu did not believe, he still  asserted  that:  "There is no  case of the  lay  disciple U -Ba-Ly being  transformed into a disciple of Sa-Dam-Sa-Mon, just the opposite ”.

Ni-kien-Truong ladies:

-If the guru does not believe, he can come to  see , or send people there, he will know the truth.

Ni-Kien Than-Tu said:

- He went there to review, finished  reporting to  tell us how real damage?

Obedient  Ton-monk, Ni-Kien School immediately go; when the Sale-doctoral Pros-three-Ly, concierge just seen Ni-patient cases and said  as  the words which the employer has told to say when the Ni-Kien next door. Hearing the right words like that, Ni-Kien School did not say a word, left, and told Ni-kien Than-death:

-Guru, my ears hear the doorkeeper say the things that I told Master-professor, things happened like that, Uu-ba-Ly was  transformed  into a disciple of Sa-Mon Cu-Đàm already; If the professor does not believe anymore, should go there personally to ask for clarification.

The next day, Ni-kien Than-Tu gathered a  mass  of Cu-Si, Ni-Kien crowded to the house of Ba-Ly, the door keeper said:

-Dear Sun-author, U-Layman Uu-ba-Ly received  the education  of the Buddha, or Sa-subject Cu-Dam and  became his  disciple of Cu-Dam already, so not for the Ni-Kien. door again; just let the  four  Buddhist disciples enter the door. If Ton-fake and the Ni-Kien want to  beg  should stand here, I will  notify  and someone will bring rice for.

Ni-kien Than-Tu says:

-We do not use rice, we just want to meet the Unforgettable.

The doorkeeper answered:

- Please wait a moment, I will go in with the Cu-Si.

After it was  reported  that Ni-k Than Than-Tu had a large number of disciples coming to see him, Lay-U-Ba-Ly told the servant to come to the big room to prepare his seats, and then Si-Si went to the court to sit. (the place where there was once a Cu-Si led Ni-kien Than-tu sat on it), Cu-Si told the gate keeper:

- You go to the door and say to Ni-kien Than-Tu like this: Religion, Lay-U-Three-Ly said:  "If you want to come in, please feel free . "

The gatekeeper came out and said  what  the owner had  said , when Ni-kien Than-Tu finished listening to  the  crowd and filled the great hall, Cu-Si saw it and said:

- Religion, there are seats here, he wants to sit arbitrary please  .

Ni-kien Than-Tu says:

- Cu-Si, should you do that? On your own: go to the high seat and  sit cross-legged , talk to other   people just as the  renunciants  of religion  do not differ.

- Religion, I have things, this seat I have, so I said,  "Have a seat, want to sit as you like."

Ni-kien Than-Tu spread the seat and sat down and said:

- Cu-Si, why is that? Want  to subjugate  Sa-Mon-Dam, when  returning  to be  surrendered , like people in the forest looking for an eye, but when  returning  back lost a second eye. As well as: thirsty people  go into the  lake, when they come back, they are still thirsty, Cu-Si also wants to  surrender to  Sa-Dam, but when they return , they   will be  surrendered  ; Hey Cu-Si, why is that?

Layman Ushba said:

-  For example,  a person who holds a small monkey toy to the dyke and said,  "Dye this little monkey toy yellow and stuffed it to give me light . " The dyeer  answered ,  "This toy is dyed yellow to make it  cute , this can be done, but it cannot be smashed to give it light."  Sun's sparse, Ni-Kien said things like that, can not  tolerate  well the difficult questions of others, can not  think  observes , that only infected  foolish ; like a monkey toy that can't emit light.

Again, a person with a Ba-la-complaint to dye workers said:  "Dyeing this shirt becomes extremely beautiful, and stuffed it to emit light . " "The shirt can be dyed in a very beautiful color, it can also be smashed to give off light," says the dyestuff  . Dear Religion, the things that Sa-subject Cu-Đàm, ie the Tathagata-Infinite-Department-Before Right-Level Chief-Equitization-Teachings, as well, are  able to  withstand the difficult questions of others; can also  think ,  contemplate  properly, not  foolishly .

Ni-kien Than-Tu says:

- Cu-Si, he has been transformed into magic  by  Cu-Dam   .

- Sir Ton, that is the kind of nice jutsu  , the kind of jutsu that makes my parents  happy ,  safe and  secure , lasting pleasure  . Is sorcery make wife-child, slave-Pi, China-Wang, all the earth,  gods , Ma, Pham, recluses, Pham-media, all  interests  in peace , pleasure,  long long .

- Hey Cu-Si, all of this land of Na-lan-Da knows that Cu-Si is a disciple of Ni-Kien, now here in the  end , who is Si-Si's disciple?

At that time, Cu-Si stood up from his seat  , then knelt his right knee on the ground, aimed at the direction of the Buddha, folded his hands and said:

- Religion, please listen to what I say.

Then Si-Si said shelves:  "The Buddha is a great-hero, is a saint, is champion, is  unmoved , is a great-artist, is not infected by the ceiling." Cu-doctor  praises : "The Buddha is  tolerant , is the President who  wears , is  brave , is legal, is-dwell, is the great-dragon beyond the custom." Residential-doctoral final  eulogy : "Buddha is the  superpower , the bar-Net, is the wealth-class level, is President-net-favored-president, is  unsurpassable  worth worshiping, is Shan-sworn v. v ... ”,  in which, ten times  identified  themselves (Cu-ren) is a disciple of the Buddha.

Listen for a long time, and Ni-kien Than-Tu said:

- Residential-Si, he  praised  Sa-Mon-Dam with  what meaning  ?

-Mr. Ton-Nhan, Sa-Mon, Cu-Đàm, Như-Lai, Thế-Tôn, Vô-Sở-Before-Đàng, Chính-Giac were praised by  countless  people and gods  , he is the one whom I  respect.  superlative, so I  praise the truth . 

When saying this Dharma: The Unforthgoing One (Dharma-Ba-Ly) is  naked  (the  ugly defilements   of  life ), giving rise to  Dharma  eyes to dhammas.
