With lyrics such as sweet star fruit bunches, the way to school and childhood kites, has awakened the familiar images that are always attached to the lives of each of us Vietnamese people. If the motherland is lacking in mother and father love, then that motherland will spend a lot of money. Therefore, the homeland in the minds of each of us must be in harmony with the charming scenery, and the whole mother is immense as the sea without the shore, the fatherly love is as high as Mount Thai Son. Having both father and mother love attached to it, the picture of the motherland can be very vivid.
But even if the picture is romantic, how sweet it will eventually fade over the years, according to the law of impermanence and sink into the past. Because of the homeland that we are living here, on this planet is always impermanent, illusory, fake of the legal world. Due to the nature of the fake is not real so can not be permanent residence. A world filled with elements of chance, chaos, and disaster, cannot be a good world.
Expanding the issue, bringing the homeland to a global scale, the world we live in here is closely tied to the minds of the billions of people living on this planet. From the perspective of the Buddhist worldview, we clearly feel the instability in the common home we live in. The house has many potential risks from nature and countless consequences due to dangerous, direct human impacts, such as earthquakes, tsunamis, storms, epidemics, wars, etc. The fluctuations of such an uncertain life every day and every hour threaten the peace of the planet we live in, so that each of us can feel the dangers dangling from humanity's head. .
So where is the true homeland for us to have a peaceful life? That is the hometown of Bliss. Shakyamuni with his eyesight, he saw and introduced the world of Bliss, a truly solemn and pure world as introduced by the Amitabha Sutra , a solemn Pure Land.
Read a paragraph in the Sutta , we will see clearly: "Hey Xa-profit-waving! So why is the name Pure Land? Beings in that realm don't have sufferings, only enjoy pleasures. Should be called Ultimate Bliss. "
The world we live in is far different from the one heaven and the world of Ultimate Bliss. This is the "miserable" world, and the other world is the Ultimate Bliss. Suffering and Lac are two categories that are completely opposite to each other. The world we live in is more or less unpleasant, is transient for a long time, but because we live in misery and have adapted to the living conditions, no one sees suffering and wants to avoid it anymore. Therefore, beings in this Ta-she world are very intense.
Please briefly describe the suffering of the world as the three suffering, eight suffering. And the World of Bliss has three bliss and eight peanuts.
Tam suffering:
- Suffering: Ie suffering more husband suffering. Like life itself has birth, old age, sickness, death, suffering, but also pass more suffering such as resentment of suffering, craving separation, demand and satisfaction and countless other miseries.
- Disappointment: Ta-she eventually perishes, nothing is eternal, there is no true joy, ultimately, because happiness before suffering should not be true. Although there are attained noble meditations such as preliminary meditation, secondary meditation, third meditation, the fourth meditation is just smuggled. When you have enjoyed all that bliss, the gods in the four heavenly meditation still have to be lost. So called suffering.
- Suffering: Onion is a relentless shift, arising and passing in every moment. The method of impermanence, born of suffering should be called suffering. The devas in the Realm of Formlessness, though meditating on the four elements of meditation, live up to eighty-four thousand lives, do not have the material body and enjoy the joy in No-going, but when they lose concentration, they will fall down as usual. . Sex about all 3 kinds of suffering. Lust the world lacks suffering. The formless world suffers only suffering.
Eight sufferings: including the four sufferings in the body (birth, old age, sickness, death) and the four sufferings in the mind (suffering because of prayers cannot be, suffering because of love must be separated, suffering from resentment and having to meet, miserable for the warm year). Ta-she miserable said not all. To have joy, you have to work hard to attain. But not for long. Eventually the happiness is gone. On the contrary, the world of Bliss, everything from clothing, eating, etc., is solemnly victorious, completely at will, without any hard work on its own, so there is loads of joy, countless bliss . Should be called "Dan's life lost".
Now we find out what the three tribes are.
Tam Tam:
- Purity immaculate: People in the realms of Bliss are Na-la-Dien body solid, enough 32 good generals, yellow body, body is no different, absolutely no craving. Ie there is no suffering.
- Health care is often lost: Tho lives a person immeasurably long. The water realm does not vanish. There is no suffering.
- Mindfulness of the immovable mind: The beings of the Pure Land are always in concentration and the mind is always happy like greed. There is no suffering.
Peanuts:
- United flower contact body chemistry: Being born from a lotus, not in the womb of darkness. Born immediately saw the Buddha hearing enlightenment and being unborn. There should be no suffering.
- General solemn dignity: Body as Buddha is no different, body by dignified merit. There is no aging phenomenon.
- Self in the serene state: The body is made of hard metal, immortal being. Pure body, permanently not sick. There is no phenomenon of the four great quarrels, always contempt and liberty.
- Longevity immeasurable: Life is equal to Buddha. There is no parting death. There should be no suffering.
- Fun as the will: Things, food, upstairs, whenever anyone thinks of it, it is not hard work. So there is no need to suffer.
- Hai Hai often congregate: The numerous noble people who make countless friends often make close friends. There is no separation sex.
- Superior good club: People in the Pure Land are often happy as smuggled, so they always love each other. There is no resentment.
- Body and mind pure tranquility: Body pure, constant President projector. No Ngu cozy and suffering.
In general: The three realms of idealism, all things of consciousness. Beings Ta-she realms deep karma, Tanh strength, causing many guilty feelings, gross realms, many accidents. And beings in the Pure Land, like the contraband, pure serenity, the chief medical sensation, so there are the three bliss, the peanuts, even countless things of nature.
Our nature is not born, but because of delusion, there are many errors, so we go up and down the six paths. Bring the unborn and put into the body of birth and death, rolling in the realm of impermanence is very compassion for the boss too. Now knowing that the other world is solemnly victorious, why not dare to consider the Pure Land as the homeland, the Buddha Amitabha is a good father, They are friends, and wish to be born soon to return to the nature of nursing in the lotus. Once born and then no longer born. Enjoy immeasurable joy and peace. This is really our home town.
2. Recite Buddha's birth precious house
The times we live in are too risky, and full of surprises, so we cannot foresee the possible consequences. So the form of insurance was born. Insurance is a form of guarantee for insurance buyers to have a certain compensation when an incident occurs or significantly reduces material and mental damage to insurance buyers.
Those are the world's insurance forms. Valid for a certain period of time, very long as a lifetime. There is absolutely no future insurance for customers.
But here, the Pure Land Method of Buddhism opens up a new chapter, which is beyond time because of compassion for infinite beings so Buddha Amitabha initiates the great vow to ensure the practice. Pure Land monk, if for some reason, in this life they have recited Buddha's name but not reborn, then the 26th prayer "Hear the name blessed" protects them. The text says: "... If I listen to my name, after the expiry of my life, I will give birth to a noble house, the apartments will not be empty ..." .
The book of General Commentary says, "The birth of a noble house" is as follows: "Being born in Sat-the-benefit-point is powerful, giving birth to a Brahmin has wisdom, a birth of a laity is wealthy, so it is possible benefit beings ”.
The book of Islam tells us: "The birth of condescending family who is despised by life cannot create broad benefits . " Besides, the senses are eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind, were born into the house of dignity, power, and the body is good. No vacancy yet. This is truly a form of both physical and mental integrity.

4. Nan credit measures

In the sutras, it is taught: "If listening to the Amitayus Sutra, but believing that it is to be maintained, it is the hardest of the difficult things, nothing is more difficult". In other words, believing this Pure Land practice is one of the most difficult things in the world.

5. Following the example of the old lady "Ba Quan Quan"
Truly, cultivating Pure Land is very difficult, ladies and gentlemen. Because the practice of other disciplines is very hard, elaborate without interruption, but have yet to see the results. What practice gently, how leisurely practice as expected results. If today we say the Pure Land method is few, the result is much contrary to the thinking of so many people they don't dare to believe. Why is it so easy to cultivate such a simple practice? Easy to cultivate a concept from one concept to ten can also be reborn, anyone can cultivate, whether a girl or a boy, a wise or a fool. Easy to witness because when just set foot on the Buddha land, the three witnesses are rotten; because this is the subject of Super Love, that goes beyond our knowing and thinking. Easier said than done, but did not dare to ignore.
It is difficult to maintain the faith of life, cultivating to keep the rhythm longer and harder, lasting is not difficult, the hardest is being single-minded or not.
So look at the ashram, see a lot of people practice, but among them are some people believe in deep, earnest, professional maintenance . There are also many lay Buddhists who also develop the mind of practicing Western Pure Land. But when they advised them to recite the Buddha's name, they often complained that they were always busy, didn't have time to recite Buddha's name, they were worried about working for a livelihood, they had to work hard outside, and when they got home, they were busy. the dark side with the kitchen, the garden, etc. is not free at all. Recite Buddha very little. Less thoughts go to forget. So there are not enough three-quarters food items are Tin, May, Hanh. But if these three items are not enough, it is unlikely that the opportunity will be reborn. This is a question that needs to be scrutinized, whether it belongs to the context of the situation or whether the disease or lamentation of the Bodhi heart rot of the majority of Buddhists today.
So, let's find out through the story of the old lady "The Unmanageable", fortunately each of us ponders whether we should solve the problem of time.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty in China, in Hangzhou, a Buddhist monk came to Hieu Hieu to ask the Venerable Daoist: "I have recited Buddha's name for a long time, but I haven't seen any progress, I don't know why?" The Venerable said, "Reciting Buddha's name is not difficult, but it is difficult to stay long, so maybe the old lady cannot recite and is durable so it is like that." She replied, "As a matter of fact, because of predestined interdependence, you should recite the Buddha's words often or without interruption, from here on out, from here on out, all wishes, keep as your teacher says."
Shortly after, she came again to ask: "Since I have listened to the teachings up till now, I have put everything aside, every day reciting the Buddha's name, why haven't I seen any effect?". The Venerable Master continued: "Reciting Buddha's name is not difficult, it is difficult to stay long; not long lasting not difficult, but difficult in one-pointedness. Outside, though all the guarded, but in the heart of concern for the home, the garden, the attachment to the children and grandchildren, the worry is not over, the root of love remains, how can one see the Buddha one-pointedly ". When she heard that, she complained, "Indeed! The external charm, though abandoned, but still lingering mind. From here, I would like to ask hundreds of unmanaged things to come, to single-mindedly recite the Buddha's name ”. After receiving the teachings, the old lady came home, the children or the grandchildren asked questions, or expressed anything, the old lady said, "I want to recite the Buddha's name peacefully, hundreds of things please do not manage." Because of that predestined relationship, everyone called her the old lady "Ba Quan".
Because the story is concise, condensed, has practical benefits, close to life, it should be recorded the full text of the story so that those who have read or not read will still see more benefits from the story.
Here we see the old lady, Ba Be Quan, the embodiment of our laity nowadays, that is, the house-holders have enough enthusiasm to practice the Pure Land, but they are so bounded by the conditions that they cannot overcome themselves. . The old lady in the past had many great things that we need to learn, that is, dare to acknowledge our own weaknesses and have presented that difficulty so that the profound teacher taught how to overcome and slowly let go. all obstacles from the outside first, and then after that all the interdependent attachment inside, only the Buddha's mind remains.
You see, the old lady was as faithful and as busy as we are today. Yet she did a miracle. It has reached the achievement of single-mindedness, that is, to recite the Buddha's eight samsara, which is also the Universal Samma. Then reborn. This is an example for us to learn and follow the old woman. May Buddhists resolve to rise above, try to arrange time, keep all the charm, both outside and inside, specialized in practicing Pure Land.
