The Life of Ananda Sangha.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH. Chapter IX-a Ananda when the Buddha was near to Nirvana -ooOoo- The stories (mostly in the form of a dialogue) by Amanda and the Buddha, several months before the Buddha's entrance into Nirvana, have been viewed by many Buddhist scholars as historical documents, describing the Important events related to the last part of Buddha's life. According to Maha Parinibbana Sutta (Great Nirvana Sutta) recorded in Digha Nikaya 16 (School A Function Number 16), Amanda played a major role in the Buddha's teachings before entering Nirvana. These teachings often enjoy "the last teaching" and express even the sad nuance of Amanda, when he knows that the Buddha is about to pass away. According to some Buddhist researchers, these sutras indirectly predicted the life expectancy of the Shakyamuni Buddha (only 5000), as well as heralded the degenerate forms of Buddhism in later Buddhism. gradually the virtuous life, the mirror of liberation disappears, etc ... until a new Buddhism is born. These Buddhist Sutras also mostly state the practical dharma, advise the disciples to increase diligence, practice liberation while the Buddha is in money, lest the Buddha passes away, then the benefits will be beneficial. Only that seems to have missed. At the same time, the whole content of the Amitabha sutras is also reflected through the main character, playing the role of dialogue, Amanda, a redemptive feature that we will try to present in the following pages: The first part of the Maha Parinibbana Sutta (Maha Parinibbana Sutta) can be seen as starting at Rajagaha, the capital of Magadha (Magadha) where Devadatta seven years earlier harmed the Buddha and divided turn Tang Gioi. At that time, King A Xa The (Ajatasattu) was ruling the land of Ma Kiet Da. And the Persian king Pasenadi (Pasenadi) was just overthrown, and at the same time, the Thich Ca royal family just experienced a terrible tragedy, the whole family was slaughtered. Prince Mahanama (the only remaining brother in Aanda's house) was killed. At that time, three powerful warlords ruled over three territories located north of the Ganges River (Ganga) near the Himalayas, Koliyas, Mallas and Vajjians were declaring independence, no longer admiring King A Xa The. In the meantime, this king also had the ambition to capture and annex these three territories into his three territories, especially King A Xa The intended to first conquer the Vajjians. If in the tragedy of the Shakyamuni family because of the heavy karma of the relatives, the Buddha could not protect anything, then with the intention of invading the Vajjians tribe of King A Xa The, he helped a lot. After that, he also indirectly protected the people of the Mallas tribe. This is a political nuanced background in the last years of the Buddha's life. The author would like to repeat symbolically some events as follows: The king with blood to invade A Xa The ordered a great mandarin named Vassakara to meet the Buddha and inform the Buddha that the king intended to bring troops to conquer the Vajjians territory. When Vasakara stated the king's intention and asked the Buddha's teachings, the Buddha turned to Venerable Ananda (who was then standing behind the guru). Buddha asked Amanda: - Hey, Aanda! How do the Vajjians have seven virtues in daily life? Ananda immediately replied: - Bach Duc The Ton: Firstly, the people of the Vajjians tribe often gather and discuss unanimously all issues. - Second, the people of Vajjians never abolish the old rules. - Third, the people of Vajjians regularly listen to the advice of the elders. - Fourth, the people of Vajjians never violate the conduct of women. - Fifth Vajjians people always respect places of worship. - Sixth, the people of Vajjians continue to dedicate their wealth to the religious bases. - Seventh Vajjians are always ready to protect and uphold true spiritual practitioners. Waiting for Ananda's answer, the Buddha immediately said: - With these seven virtues, no one can deny the prosperity and mighty of the Vajjian people. And those seven qualities that they did not have before, so they were degraded and poor. It is the Tathagata that has taught them to instill those seven virtues! Such a people is a people that can easily protect their property, material and spirit. Hearing the Buddha's words, the great Vasskara also praised that: - It doesn't have to be seven of these qualities! Just one first quality only, is enough to make this tribe thrive. As long as the people of Vajjians continue to have those seven virtues, that day they cannot be invaded. Those who want to conquer them must wait until they divide and rebellion. The great dignitaries paid his respects to the Buddha With the intention of returning to the king that: sending troops to conquer the territory of Vajjians at this time is a disappointment. In Indian society at that time, belief in the spiritual strength of a clan was very important. Just making an invading force understand that is enough to help the Buddha prevent a war. Much later, when the Buddha entered Nirvana, the land of Vajjians was annexed, because the people of this country gradually abandoned and separated from the old virtues, became divided, no longer had the power to agree, so they could not keep their territorial frontiers. As for the Buddha, when he indirectly prevented the invasion of King A Xa, he learned a political lesson and applied it to the ecclesial community. He taught Ananda to summon the Sangha to uphold the seven virtues mentioned above: If through these seven virtues, a nation could be strong, preventing how foreign nations would dare invade, then those seven qualities would also to make the Church like that. Mean: Firstly, the Sangha should regularly meet and discuss all common issues in the community unanimously. Even if there are disagreements, we must communicate peacefully with each other. - Second, should not make new laws (Because the right to make laws will be divided, everyone wants to make new laws). - The third is to obey the elders. - Fourth, to respect the Sangha Church - Fifth, need to meditate on all the advice of Ton Tuc Sixth, diligently eliminate ambition and develop pure liking. - Saturday, we should always know ourselves to see the peace of the Saints, always living in that knowledge. After listing the seven good dharma s for the Sangha to remember, the Buddha condensed it into a piece of dhamma (about Morality - Concentration - Wisdom) that we later often find in many places in the Tripitaka: - It is the moral precepts! It is abiding! That is wisdom! When there is abiding and moral precepts, the result of liberation will be solid. Then when there is wisdom in coordination with abiding and moral precepts, the liberating result is not only solid but also great. And when knowing oneself, the soul will be kept always clean by wisdom, free from all defilements, all sensual pleasures and ignorance. The second part of the Great Nirvana Sutra is that after those instructions, the Buddha began his last lecture. Wherever a predestined person welcomes the Stupa to instill the truth of liberation, he stops to give blessings. Or where there are violent forces that cause war, he will stop there, to use enlightenment methods, to extinguish the fire of war. During this historic practice, the Buddha first turned to the Ganges delta, through the territory of Norway, where later there was a famous Buddhist university. This territory is also the birthplace of the Holy Sangha Xa Loi Phat (Sàrìputta). It was here that the Elder Xa Loi Phat broke up with the Buddha, stopped continuing his journey with the Master, in order to return to save his mother, and then passed away in the village where he was born. At the last look at the Buddha, Elder Xa Loi Phat said farewell words, in the name of a great apostle as follows: - Bach Duc The Ton! White Enlightened One! Although there are millions of words to praise His grace and virtue, it is not equal to the four words Enlightened Wisdom. Then the Buddha along with a large number of disciples advanced to Vesali city. This is the capital of the land of Vajjians, but the virtue of this nation he once praised. And a war that was almost caused by King A Xa The, devastating that country was also extinguished by the divine law. One might wonder, "Why did the Buddha come here in the late afternoon, to incarnate the 45th time in the life of a Buddha?" If we think deeply, we will find that the Buddha's presence in this territory (Vajjians) has no other purpose than to use His grace to discourage King Arahant from bringing troops. occupied a small neighboring country. And in Vesali city, the Buddha received serious illness. A natural and final karma of a human life. He used the power of meditation to dispel all pain. At the same time, he also did not want to pass away without summoning all the disciples at last. Indeed, the body of any human being in this world, inevitably has four laws: Birth, Aging, Sickness and Death. Ananda, seeing that the Buddha was tainted with illness and knowing that it was a serious disease, was extremely sad. He was so afraid that he lost all of his sanity. Then to comfort himself, Abanda imagined and told the Buddha that; - Bach Duc The Ton! No matter how dangerous the illness is, a Buddha will certainly never enter Nirvana suddenly, without fully summoning the disciples and giving the ultimate will. But the Buddha suddenly stopped his pain, his aura said: - Hey, Aanda! Tathagata has nothing for ultimate will! The things worth handed down to the disciples, the Tathagata has already said it all. At present, there is no longer a secret that can be called a secret to the ultimate will. Tathagata since the Citadel up to now has continued to exist is dependent on "Buddha body". Do not misunderstand that there is a living Buddha to lead the Church, and before his death, that Buddha must prepare all wills to transfer power like rulers clinging to the mortal ego. . The Tathagata body is now like an old carriage. At the age of 80, the Buddha body of the Tathagata is only at peace when the mind permanently dwells in the Zen, especially the Non-Zero Meditation and the Without Origin (animitta céto vimutti). - Hey, Aanda! You see yourself as your own refuge. He considers his true wisdom to be the only salvation, because a disciple imbued with Buddhism never wishes for a place of salvation to liberate his own samsara. The third part of the Mahà Parinibbàna Sutta, also given at Vesali, narrates the anecdote: There the Buddha did not set foot to cultivate for a summer. One day, the Blessed One told Ananda to take the monk and followed him to the Capala nunnery to meditate. After Buddha and Amanda sat, Buddha, instead of immediately Entering Concentration, he observed the pure and beautiful surroundings, and then the Buddha said as if sensing to Amanda: - "The surrounding places in the region also have this beautiful, pure nuance. Should the Tathagata stay here, or go to those places one after another?" The Buddha's action then had an inherent reason, but Ananda did not understand. He found no meaning in the Buddha's words. And according to the scriptures, it was not until after that Buddhist scholars mentioned that Buddha's statement for analysis, when they were faced with other proven passages in the Tripitaka Dharma. For a Buddha to express feelings or favor such beautiful scenery (even pure beauty) is a very rare thing and seems to contradict the non-clinging dignity of a person. completely liberated. But Buddha exported it, there must be a reason. And the only reason is the signal of His nearness of Passion. Not because of the Buddha's attachment to the beautiful scenery, but because of the compassion for sentient beings. For the first time 45 years ago, after Dac Dao, realizing that Buddhism was too profound and because the karma of sentient beings was deep again, he waited, Pham Thien appeared to request the Buddha's teaching. Now that he has spent 45 years of transmitting liberation, if the good conditions of mankind are still favorable, someone who is pure of mind will ask him to drill into Death. Then the Buddha said, "Whoever develops the four absolute divine powers (Iddhipàda), which is An concentration (or one mind) diligent, patient, and attentive, he can fully master his own destiny. If they want to prolong their life, they can do it too. " It means that a Buddha is more than that, because he has enough of these four divine powers, so when someone asks the Buddha to continue living to save sentient beings, he can do it easily. According to the commentary on life (€ yu kappastta), the four divine powers of a Buddha have the ability to make his body prolong his life by one earth life. If Buddha used divine power, he only applied meditation. He can also live to be 120 years old. In case the Buddha body was developed by amateurs in the present life, for example, he was destroyed by germs and gave birth to sickness, he could also use the Mahayana Dharma to live as long as he wanted. That is to prolong his life until the last cells in his body are destroyed by germs. And during the time using the Great Noble Truths to prolong his life, a Buddha knows only the Dharma and Entering Concentration, he has no other sexual activities. The Buddha not only said it to Abanda once, but he repeated it a second time, then a third time. But Ananda because she was too worried, confused, did not understand the meaning of the Buddha's teaching. Abanda's confusion to become darkness was inherently due to two causes; - First, Aanda at that time did not reach the Noble results of Arhat. - The second is the harassment of the Demon King (Māra) According to the story (Mārajàtaka), the Demon King was not only just beginning to disturb Buddha's health, and those who were close to Buddha when his age was in the midst of his life, but he appeared to ask the Buddha to step out. The Three Realms (that is, enter Nirvana) at the moment he attained the attainment of Chief Justice of the Noble Path under the Bodhi tree. Buddha was tainted with sickness was when Amanda, although worry, must be calm, hardworking and careful. But he had become absent-minded, embarrassment was an unusual phenomenon. That phenomenon of Ananda before, although it has happened, but only happens when the guru and the disciples near the Buddha are safe and free. And most of all, it only happened when the Demon King didn't hover around to obscure his sanity. Thus, the life expectancy of Buddhism will not be further shortened (less than 5000 years), otherwise, this Brahmin realm would not have enough 45 years of enjoying the benefits of a Buddha and present worldly because there is no Buddhism must have a different face. The face used violence as "truth" and then enduring resentment, the suffering never ends. (Get resentment resentment, resentment will pile up. Get the report of resentment, resentment dissipates. - According to the French Canon). As Buddhists who want to study clearly Buddha's history, we try to analyze the psychological change of Amanda in the meantime: Is it possible that in addition to being obscured by Mr. Ma Vuong, the reasons are shackled. any other? The night after the Buddha wanted to get sick the first time, Ananda was called up by the Buddha to sit next to him in the first row of legs (Before all the Mahasiddhas) to chant the sutras at night. Then, after the sutra period, the Buddha ordered the monks to go back to that place to cultivate. As for Aanda, he suddenly told him to take his chair to follow him to the Capala nunnery to meditate. A meditation practice with the Buddha, an ancestor Buddha, that Ananda, from the early 45 years of school near Buddha never dared to expect such a blessing. (Normally, before entering samadhi, the Buddha instructed Ananda to prepare for him alone in the retreat. Then Buddha entered into Jhana. The Buddha, most likely, the guru would not have to search. quietly working on other tasks, such as washing the Buddha's clothes, or going to take care of the old, weak and sick novices). But this time, the Buddha told him to go to practice with him, so Ananda felt an indescribable joy filled her heart. Especially meanwhile, the spirit of the Buddha was very normal, it seemed that on that day he did not have any serious illness. (Ananda does not know that Buddha used the Abhidhamma Pitaka to balance his sick body). Ananda's joy is obviously a kind of happiness knowing that he is about to meditate in the aura and concentration of a Buddha. Then in a moment of joy and joy, Abanda heard the Buddha praise the beautiful and tranquil landscape around the Capala Zen monastery, in the deserted forest, so he became more and more restrained, forgetting before that. Not long after a very important event happened: Buddha was infested with serious illness! This is probably the second reason for the "Dark Darkness", the reason that Alanda has always loved the Buddha for a long time and has never had such close and peaceful moments! (Speaking in a mortal way, because Ananda at that time had not yet attained Arahantship . ) So he did not expect that the duty of "Visiting the Buddha to enter Nirvana" was his duty, and is now demanding that he do it, without his knowledge. What is regrettable that as Amanda is the person who feared the Buddha entered Nirvana the most early that when the time came, he did not know to ask the Buddha to continue living in the world. Is it true that love, adultery which is the cause of bringing people's spirituality into darkness? Anyway, if the Ma Vuong (Māra) does not haunt, Aanda has already understood the meaning of the Buddha's teaching. Not only did he ask once, but up to a thousand times, he would happily begged the Buddha to continue on this earth to save sentient beings. And just one word of love, the Buddha's boundless compassion will spread and he will not enter Nirvana anytime soon. The need for someone to ask the Buddha "to enter Nirvana" like that, is a mystical thing in the Pali scriptures (Skt). When a Buddhist is addicted to studying metaphysical aspects in Buddhism, his brain aches. Once upon a time we still understand that: The lifespan of a human life is the result of all the karma (mixed good and evil) that he or she created in the previous life. But the Buddha's case is a little different. Since a life into a Buddha is his last life, a Buddha's life span is the legacy of countless past lives. Maybe there are some negative effects of negative or too weak neutralization, lying in the past eternity did not catch up with the Buddha's predecessor, so he did not pay, then when he became a Buddha he had to pay. They call these too weak results, depending on conditions and conditions. That means when there is a good reason the Buddha can transform them. Hence the life span of a Buddha will be short or long, depending on the transformation of effects and conditions. And the plausible reason just said is that there must be someone who lovingly loves the Buddha to continue his life on earth in order to save sentient beings. Upon hearing that request, a Buddha's compassion will automatically spread to infinity and transform all the effects of dependent effect. Someone also said: The Buddha was an omniscient being. He knows all the wishes of all beings, so no one needs to ask, because compassion will automatically live long in the world for eternity! This is very true, but only true when the Buddha body lies in a peaceful state, without any sickness. When the physical body was seriously ill, and the Buddha's mind was in the meditators, especially the Bat Nha Formless Meditation, the Buddha's aura only shone around his body, but did not radiate far to reach the Who is destined to be saved. Returning to the case of Abandai being made dark by the Demon King, we should continue reading in the Tripitaka: "At that time, Ananda obediently obeyed the Buddha, and as soon as she came to enter the retreat under a large tree, not far from the Buddha's place, the Maou (Māra) appeared. He repeated what the Buddha had promised 45 years earlier, when he attained the attainment of Right Path of Right Enlightenment, that is, the Demon King wanted the Buddha to pass away as soon as possible, so that he would never Zhuan Falun on this earth. when liberation is not fully disseminated, and the four classes of good people (bhikkhus, bhikkhunis, good men, and female believers) have not yet been imbued with the Dharma, and have not yet progressed in the virtuous life. The Demon King finished talking and said; "Currently those things Buddha has completed, so you should keep your promise and must Enter Destroy. The Buddha replied, "Sentient beings have good conditions with the Tathagata! (You do not say more or less good conditions). The Tathagata will enter Nirvana in about three months ...!" A question can be asked; "Why did the Buddha declare that He would Passionate within the next three months, in front of the Demon King, and he did not proclaim that word, in front of someone else?" We try to analyze this point: According to the classical tradition, the Demon King is the master of the cycle of samsara, including the Three Realms (Sexual Realm, Sacrifice and Formless Realm). The most powerful influence of the Demon King is the Realm of the Realm of Sex. All material bodies range from unclean matter (such as solid, liquid, pus, blood, organic, etc.) to stable and vapor (such as iron, stone, diamond, wind, fire and so on). gas etc.) are exclusive products manufactured by the Demon King. When a being is born in the Three Realms, regardless of its class, be it from inferior birth, ovum, or conception, up to biochemistry, like from animals, then humans, and heaven, etc. "relying on" the Demon King's products to live. All sentient beings carrying the body karma can be compared to the lodger whose Demon King is the host. The rent to be paid to the Demon King in this case is the maintenance of greed, anger, and ignorance. A Buddha or an Arahant are those who no longer owe their physical homeowners a debt. In other words, the rows have definitely refused to: "" rent a house "in the next life of the Demon King. want to expel that holy "in inn" person, to get back to the old house as soon as possible. The death age (such as the term of the rent) of an Enlightened one, although not yet arrived, Ma Vuong also find all ways get it coming soon, For another example, the Demon King might be like a person who builds a house to sell to sentient beings. And the Buddha can be compared to the last Buyer of a house. When that house (referring to the body) became old, about to collapse, he decided not to let the Demon King build a new house, so the Demon King angrily tried all kinds of ways to kick Buddha out of the old house, (ie must die) ASAP! Therefore, the Demon King was the first to know that Buddha no longer needed medicine. But the power of the Buddha wants to stay in the old house, (referring to the body), which he built, not knowing when it will be exhausted, so he kept trying to ask the Buddha when he passed away? The Maou also knew by himself that: The Noble Truth of Enlightenment, although very rare, can also appear in the world at any time. There is not a capacity that can only be prevented. As well as the achievement of the Chief Justice of the Noble Truth, he wants to stay in the Three Realms for as long as the conditions and conditions, but the Ma Vuong cannot know before or dispel it. Anyway, after the Buddha's DAO, he decided not to live a human life as long as the earth's lifespan. He did not use divine powers to make himself immortal. These divine powers are inherent in the mind of Buddha. He can grow any time he wants. But He didn't grow. And when faced with the Demon King, the Buddha blatantly declared that he would pass away within the next three months, which means that the Buddha indirectly confirmed that he would not use the eternal force of immortality, so the earth had to shake. and the thunderstorm rose up ... Because the extraordinary forces surrounding the earth are the crystallization of the shining aura and the Buddha's body. These extraordinary powers have long waited for the Buddha's mind to spread to turn into a diamond that protects a Omniscient Buddha for the rest of the earth's life. But those spiritual energies were not made by the Buddha to converge, so they were so splendid! When Amanda, terrifiedly, witnessed the trembling of the earth, at the same time thunder and thunderstorms emerged like that in the air. He immediately told the Buddha the reason, the Buddha replied that: There are eight causes of earth shake and atmosphere disturbance: One, there was a giant creature walking. Two, there is a master attained Zen who has the power of Formlessness. Three, there is a great Bodhisattva born in the womb. Four, a messiah was born. Five, there is a Buddha Gently. Six, there is a level of Righteous Enlightenment that starts Zhuan Falun. Seven, there is a Buddha who refuses to live forever. And eight, there is a promise that Buddha will enter Nirvana. '' When we read this passage, we will see that: The existence of an Ancestor, in the world, is inherently much related to the universe, not as simple as a mortal life that we often mistake. thought. For the researchers, the suttas talking about the eight signs, or referring to the eight levels of expertise or mentioning the eight levels of Liberation, are the main topics in the Great Nirvana Sutta. And we all know that: in those 3 times 8 and 24, there are only eight dharma s about signs (also known as eight cosmic phenomena), as mentioned above are sometimes mentioned without there is an explanation. The other 16 types of topics, including eight levels of expertise and eight levels of Liberation, are often clearly analyzed by the Sutra Pitaka and the Abhidhamma Pitaka. Anyone who wants to know the three groups of sutras, each of these eight, invite you to read the book The Last Day of the Buddha, published by Wheels Publication. Sri Lanka). In fact, the eight strange signs, (or the eight causes of the earth's movement and the thunderous wind up) contain many special mysteries. Even though the Buddha revealed earlier, the wisdom of Ananda could not be understood. So Buddha did not say it and only miraculous phenomena that caused Abanda to suffer, made him suddenly remember that the Buddha was about to enter Nirvana. And the scene of the globe that had not endured the immeasurable loss of merit, which is about to lose a Buddha, moved and caused everything to vibrate in a strange way without damaging Abanda a hair. , enough to prove the eternal mystical nuance between the Buddha and the universe. Returning to the story of Buddha and Amanda at Capala Meditation: After the earth of sutra had ended, the Buddha personally taught Amanda the methods of meditation suitable for his faculties. most so that Ananda quickly evolved. The Buddha's passage told Aanda about what he had promised to the Ma Vuong 45 years ago. He repeated the saying, `` A Buddha cannot enter Nirvana before giving the complete liberation in the Three Realms. '' Then Buddha continued: - But after 45 years of waiting. Recently, Ma Vuong appeared and reminded that: Currently Tathagata has fully announced eighty four thousand disciplines already. Why has not the Tathagata entered Cessation? And the Tathagata promised him that the Tathagata will enter Nirvana in the next three months. And Buddha concludes the story: - When the Buddha's mind is directed at Nirvana but the Buddha body has not turned into a diamond, the globe must vibrate. This phenomenon is not always present, but it only happened exactly three months before Buddha entered Nirvana. Ananda, hearing that, immediately panicked and bowed earnestly and asked the Buddha to transform into the Golden Body to live a long life. He asked for the first time, then the second time, still saw the Buddha sitting still, silent. The Buddha's gentle passage from the view of Ananda said that: - Hey, Aanda! Now it is too late, because the Buddha's mind has turned to Nirvana and has self-ceased the miracles of Immortality. But when Abanda asked for the third time, the Buddha suddenly asked Amanda solemnly: - Hey, Aanda! So do you believe in the complete virtue of a being out of the Three Realms? - Bach Duc The Ton! Students believe like that! Then the Buddha continued: - If you believe that, why did you ask the Buddha to do something outdated three times? Alanda argued that: - Bach Duc The Ton! The reason the disciple asks the Blessed One up to three times is because the disciple has heard the Buddha said that a Buddha always has four absolute divine powers, redundant the ability to transform into a diamond, extending the lifespan. . The Buddha asked Alanda: - Hey, Aanda! But do you believe what the Tathagata says, about those four divine powers, is the truth? - Bach Duc The Ton! Students believe that this is real. The Buddha then clarified: - Hey, Aanda! The only chance is over and never come back! Your request to Buddha to reincarnate forever is too late! You can only ask the Buddha to reincarnate forever it is too late! He could only ask the Buddha to accept the immortal body until the mind of the Buddha had not yet begun to focus on Nibbana. And now, his hope is no longer there. Then the Buddha added: - Hey, Aanda! If he had previously requested the Tathagata of eternal and eternal reincarnation, then his request has been accepted by the Tathagata! He forgot that Buddha had suggested to him to do that great deed many times, but he let darkness pass because of the darkness. Buddha did not just remind him once, but he reminded him fifteen times at five different places: A Buddha when his body dies, if someone of kindness asks him, he out of compassion will transform. the body of life. The Buddha's passage recalls five locations near the city of Vesali, where he suggested that Ananda ask the Buddha not to enter Nirvana (each Buddha mentioned three times, a total of fifteen times), but Amanda still silent, not reacting at all. Finally, the Buddha advised Aanda that everything in the Three Realms is always governed by the law of impermanence. And an Omniscient never does against the fate of sentient beings in the world. Buddha promised the Demon King in three months that he would pass away, a way for those who are destined to remain, perhaps to be saved by him. Next, the Buddha told Ananda to gather the monks and disciples in the area to give him a discourse of praise to the renunciation community for inner development (meditation) and to cultivate vipassanà, for only There are two new practices that make the happy life firmly maintained, and bring happiness to everyone. At the end of the discourse, the Buddha used to announce between the Sangha that he would enter Nirvana within three months. (Translator's words: When the Buddha declared that sentence to be on the 15th of the first lunar month. '- or Buddha's Will Day - on the first full moon day). Declaring the time of entering Nirvana, the Buddha uttered many verses, one of which was roughly translated as follows: Tathagata age eIn the afternoon, Nirvana will enter is of course. Advise disciples to be diligent, Forge mind, maintain the precepts to create conditions for themselves. How many paths of reincarnation submitted, Suffering, happy, rising, falling .. only by yourself. The precepts that are kept right cannot leave, Concentration that is firmly established is the holy life. The more intelligent the mind, the more you know, the predestined awareness will end, the good will thicken. Sa practice these words, The next day out of exile is not wrong. (N.Đ translated into poetry) The fourth part of the Great Nirvana Sutta recounts the story of the Buddha summarizing his journeys after the summer season, and declared that he wanted to return to Vesali. Then on the way to Vesali, Buddha repeated to his disciples the teachings that he gave, and they had heard. The content is roughly as follows: - Beings must continue to reincarnate in the endless cycle of birth and death, because they have not imbued with the four Dharma studies. The four Dharma studies that he previously called the Four Noble Truths (Catu ariyasaccàni: The Noble Truth of Suffering, The Noble Truth of the Noble Truths, the Noble Truths and the Cessation of the Noble Truths) are now referred to by the Buddha as the four noble practices including: 1. Noble virtue. 2. High concentration of mind. 3. Noble wisdom. 4. Noble liberation. In particular, the sublime concentration of concentration was also repeated and emphasized by the Buddha many times during this return to Vesai. In particular, he also pointed out that the basis of noble concentration is the noble virtue (referring to pure accomplished body karma and speech). And at another stopover place, on the same route, the Buddha explained to the general monks a method to learn the Buddhist language, in order that when there were any elementary disciples, the Buddha's teachings were not yet fully understood. there will be a standard of learning about Buddhism, especially after President Xi Jinping. Those who study the Great Nirvana Sutta, want to grasp the content of the dhamma saying on the above "How to learn the Buddha language", they can find evidence in the Vinaya, and the explanation in the Sutras. If the sutra was recorded so deeply, delicately and concisely, making it difficult for them to find the meaning, and then arise doubts about that narrative, the author would like to invite them to read the chapter "The Four Laws The Great Autorities, "The Last Days of The Buddha", page 46 will make it clear. This teaching on "The Method to Understand the Buddha's Language" is very important today, as it is the foundation of faith keeping among the Buddhists, when they are faced with a number of different sutras, which those "do. '' The subject '' of those sutras is highly praised for their own texts and orthodox Buddhist language documents. Especially, Buddhists can recall the Buddha's teaching to distinguish the Buddha's words given by the Buddha himself while he was still in the money, from the "Buddha's speech" recorded in the latter sutras.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.3/4/2021.
