Returning to Thua-Thien Pagoda, he officially went down to his hair, bowing to Hoa-Thuong Thuy Phuong as a Knight. His Dharma-name is Chieu-Kinh, Quang-Kham. Then, alone, with little clothes and more than 10 kilograms of rice, he aimed at the mountain of Thanh-Luong, Tuyen-Chau province, moving forward. At the age of 84, he began detention, staying at the Thua-Thien pagoda on Thanh-Luong mountain no longer going to the mountain. The construction of the pagoda continued, but actively led by his disciples: restored Thua-Thien Pagoda, built Quang-Thua Nham (1974), Dieu-Thong Tu (1982).
At 94 years of age (1985), he presided over the Three Dynasties, ordained over 2,500 monks and nuns and lay people, forming the greatest solemn Dharma Assembly in Taiwan at that time.
At that time, although he was nearly a hundred years old, he still lived very simply and frugally; His words are simple, humble; His steps remained firm, without the use of walking sticks, not with the helpers. If anyone meets him then he will see that his body is extremely light and flexible; elegant movement. He still sleeps naturally, not lying; and still sitting outside the open-air garden every night. Then his fruit food must be crushed into a liquid to make it easier to eat.
In late 1985, he returned to Thua-Thien Pagoda. He is currently sick; deny everything food, medicine; also do not listen to believers.
On the Lunar New Year in that year, 1986, he summoned all the disciples at the temples and monasteries all over the place to bless and distribute the posterity. He instructed the cremation and division of spirituality at Thua-Thien Tu, Quang-Thua Nham, and DieuThong Tu, at the same time answering all questions of the faithful.
That morning, after taking a boy's life, he decided to go to Dieu-Thong Tu in Kaohsiung.
The next day, the second Lunar New Year, his vigor was extremely depressed.
On the third occasion, his physical strength recovered. He and the masses went on to recite Buddha's name. He talked freely with the disciples; extremely clear and optimistic spirit as if nothing happened.
On the morning of the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, he called all his disciples with him to go outside to receive the sun. He told a disciple, Master Truyen-Van, that: "You are okay; But they - mass - are not done yet! "
