4). SHOULD-SEE OTHER EYES

- The Sun, now we have two obstacles (7) bound, because we do not know self-nature, hope Tathagata mercy on the poor, open the mind, clear the way for us.

     Buddha told A Nan: 
- Today we tell the truth to the people: The wise also have to use the new example to be enlightened. A Nan, if it is like my hand, if there is no arm, it will not hold my hand, if not his eyes will not become his sight. So taking his eye-base label compared to my fist, are the two meanings the same? 
- White World Religion! Well the same. If there is no eye, then it will not become your sight, so bring your eye-base to the hand of Tathagata, the same two meanings. 
     Buddha told A Nan:
- He said the same, this meaning is not true. Why? Like a person without a hand, there is absolutely no fist, but a person without eyes doesn't see it. Why? He tried to ask what the blind man saw? He will answer: "Now I see only dark before my eyes, nothing else." In this sense, the ceiling is dark, the seeing doesn't diminish! 
     A Nan said: 
- Blind people in the immediate future only see dark, why is it called? 
     Buddha told A Nan: 
- Blind people have no eyes, only dark, compared to people with eyes in the dark room, only see dark, two dark things are different or not? 
- White World Religion! It is no different.
- A Nan, if people do not have eyes, see all dark and black, suddenly their eyes are bright, and they see the eyes before them, called "the eyes see", the people in the dark room also see dark and suddenly light up , also see the form before the eyes, it must be called "lights see". If the lamp does not see it, it is not called a lamp, but what does the lamp see mean to him? So, the lamp only works to show the form, the seeing is the eye, not the lamp; eyes only work to show form, seeing is mind, not eyes. 
     Nan and the mass, though listening to the Buddha's words, were silent, but the mind was still not enlightened, hoping to clarify more clearly, so sincerely joining hands, waiting for Buddha to teach.

     The Buddha preached: " He said the same thing, this meaning is not true; why? As he did not have an arm, there was absolutely no fist, but a man without eyes did not see; why? He tried to ask the blind man, the blind man would answer: "Now my eyes are only dark and not see anything else ". In this sense, the ceiling is dark, the seeing doesn't diminish! "Here we see eyes like mirrors, blind people such as dark mirrors and fists that cannot be mirrors but only things, so these two things are different. 

     Venerable A Nan Da said: " The blind people in the immediate future only see dark, why are they called to see?"
     The Buddha compared and asked: "The blind man has no eyes, only dark eyes, compared to those whose eyes are in the dark room, only dark, are the other dark and different things different? "This is a solid explanation that cannot be denied. 
     Venerable Sun replied:  "- Dear Exalted! It is no different. ”  That is, Venerable An Nan Da as well as everyone must recognize the darkness of the blind and the darkness of the blind in the dark room is no different. 
     The Buddha preached: "- If people do not have eyes, see all dark and black, suddenly their eyes are bright, and they see the shapes before their eyes, called" eyes see ". The people in the dark room were all black and dark, suddenly the lights were bright, and they also saw the shapes and colors before their eyes, they must be called "lights see"; If the lamp does not see it, it is not called a lamp, but what does the lamp see have to do with him? So knowing the lamp only works to show the form, the seeing is the eye, not the lamp; eyes only have the effect of showing the form, the seeing is the mind, not the eyes ".  Here, the Buddha only tells us: the lamp is only the light of light, the eye is the gateway to seeing, the seeing is the mind; so the other eye sees it. 

At that time: "Sun Nan and the mass, though listening to the Buddha's words, were silent, but the mind was still not enlightened, hoping to clarify more clearly, so sincerely joining hands, waiting for the Buddha to teach"  Here, false Religions and all Although he was told by him, but still not fully understood, he expected him to teach more.
