Buddha attained enlightenment.
The Buddha is not a director, why?Because Buddha is virtue and virtue is Buddha. In addition, there is no Buddha to succeed and besides Buddha there is no religion to prove. So why, every year on the eighth day of the lunar month, the Buddhist monks and nuns often solemnly celebrate the Buddha's birthday?
With that question, we can answer with the following meanings:
1 - Celebrating the day when the Most Bodhisattva born into a Buddha
Celebrating the Buddha's success is to commemorate the date of the Bodhisattva's attainment after long years of monastic practice, which have attempted to completely eradicate contraband or, from crude to sacrifice and have witnessed the true nature of virtue. liberation and enlightenment. It is the day the Bodhisattva attains the most from the position of the Most Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, taking the position of liberation and enlightenment.
Therefore, on the eighth day, December, the lunar calendar is the day when the Buddhist monks and nuns of Vietnam commemorated the day when the Bodhisattva was completed, not to commemorate the Buddha's birthday. Because Buddha is an enlightened being, there is nothing to gain or lose, to become or to be defeated and because Buddha is often dwelling in death, so there is no master of physical ability and the object to testify. The subject and the permanent object dissociate in the empirical world of earthly awareness, but in the world of permanent and circular wisdom, the subject and object are clear, silent and passed away. .
So, commemorating the Buddha's birthday is to celebrate the day of the Bodhisattva's Bodhisattva's Buddha's Way.
2- Celebrate the day of the Bodhisattva's great vow and almond
The celebration of Buddha's enlightenment is a celebration of the day when Bodhisattva attained a lot of members into a material of great vow and almond. Vajrayana vows, because countless countless previous lives, from where Bodhisattva and Bodhisattva have once knelt before the Buddhas of the past, launched a great vow with two great intellectual and great materials.
With great intellectual property, Bodhisattva has tried to learn without being tired of knowledge-friendly levels and always wholeheartedly serves the intellectuals of wisdom to learn, to cultivate wisdom to the place. Seeing true truth for all existence and non-existence, for the Dharma arising and passing away.
With the material of great compassion and Bodhisattva, many have practiced love and treasured the good which is inherent in itself, which is present in all people and species. The Bodhisattva practiced true love from one person to many people, from one species to all species and loved and protected even the plants, flowers, mountains and the sea and nature.
And the member of the great virtue is because from that great vow, the Bodhisattva Venerable has experienced countless lives, and needs to be tired and tired every day to make great vows become a reality of great virtue. That means how much it is to be happy. For Bodhisattvas, vows and virtues are not separated, even for moments. Therefore, for the Bodhisattva, vows are almond and happiness is vow. For themselves, the Bodhisattva has many afflictions, so much happiness and vow to eradicate and clean. For beings with many species suffering from suffering, the bodhisattva has so many wishes, appropriate methods and forms to help sentient beings take care of and transform the causes of such suffering, making those Their miserable practice no longer exists, their mind is firmly settled in the silence of absolute Nirvana. May all sentient beings be in the silence of absolute nirvana called the great vow or the great vow. If vowing is lacking in content, it cannot be called a member of a vow. May I become a Buddha and pray for all sentient beings to become Buddhas as well, so it is called a great volunteer. Turn that great vow to become great. Happiness and vow did not leave each other in each mind and in all manifestations of all movements, called almonds or the great virtue of the bodhisattva.
So, the Buddhist monks and nuns of Vietnam commemorating the Buddha's religion were commemorating the day of the Bodhisattva's attainment of many members of the great vow and virtue of the Bodhi mind.
3 - Celebrate the day the Bodhisattva attained the fullness of the Buddha's body
The Buddha's three bodies include: Buddha Dharma, Buddha's body and Buddha's body.
Buddha Dharma body, which means the pure, unborn and non-destructive being of all things is Buddha's body. The body of Buddha is transcendent to all spaces and for all time, the body is bound to all spaces and for all time it is still natural.
The Buddha's body, which means the body of the Buddha, is due to the practice of samadhi, samadhi, wisdom and the six-fold dharma, so it has completely eradicated the contraband or belongs to the gonorrhea, smuggled, and ignorance. Therefore, Buddha's body is the full body of the dharma of merit and unbelievable wisdom. That body is also a normal body that does not die. It does not arise and fall away, because it is the result of the unconscious.
Buddha responds to the body, which means that Buddha's body arises from great vows and great virtues to teach to benefit all beings. The body manifests itself in many different forms, depending on the newspaper and the Chief Justice of sentient beings in each world in which the Buddha manifests the body in accordance with each category to attain degree. This body fully manifests aspects including: Birth, Enlightenment, Dharma and Nirvana.
Buddhas in three generations and ten worlds, ever since they released the mind of bodhisattva bodhisattva, until they became great vows and great almonds, that is, they all witnessed the pure Buddha Dharma body, the contented Buddha's body and capable of manifesting thousands of physical forms or countless forms according to virtue and vow to cultivate beings. Therefore, any bodhisattva when attaining Enlightenment is full of all three bodies.
So, Buddhist monks and nuns of Vietnam celebrated the day when the Bodhisattva attained the Buddha's name, it was the anniversary of the Bodhisattva's three-day achievement.
4- Celebrating the light day Wisdom, Compassion and peace appear and shine all over
The day of Buddha's Bodhisattva's attainment is not only important for our Buddhist monks and nuns, but also too important for all human beings and all beings.
Why? For Buddhist monks and nuns, we have a fully enlightened teacher, a master who is full of wisdom, compassion and might to lead us through the sea of life and death to go to happiness. the blissful bliss of absolute Nirvana.
For mankind, he is a master, full of Wisdom and Compassion who proclaims the dharma to bring peaceful peace to humankind. As Ban ki Moon, the UN Secretary-General said in the 2008 Vesak Great Message: "Over the past two thousand and five hundred years, the teachings of the Buddha have continued to be the guiding principle and brought back. The meaning for the life of hundreds of millions of people around the world. The organization of the annual Vesak Festival is an opportunity for Buddhists to affirm their faith in his teachings, and at the same time uphold the teachings of Compassion, Wisdom and Peace that he preached, ... ”
Thus, for mankind, the day of Bodhisattva's attainment of multiple paths is the day of achievement of peaceful life, the life of wisdom and compassion, and at the same time the publication of that doctrine of peace and life. for mankind by the very way that the Bodhisattva attainment has fully experienced and enlightened.
5- Celebrating the day opens a new perspective for humanity
The All Bodhisattva's Day, which has become a Buddha in this third realm, is open to humanity a new way of thinking, a new way of thinking, a new way of speaking, a new way of acting, a new way of life, a way new effort, a new and calm way of acknowledging.
The new way of looking is the way in which the vision does not fall into the partiality due to the manipulation by misconceptions from a mundane or supernatural ego. That new perspective, is a way to see clearly everything that exists in interdependent relationships. An existence is present in all existence and all existence is contained in an existence. They exist together in a universal, lively tolerance without any one being able to exist independently. The existence of an independent individual including supernatural individuals is just crazy ideas, they arise from a weak mind, or a mind full of arrogance and blindness.
The new mindset is that thinking is not established, so the righteous foundation is on the basis of the non-self-dependent conditions, to experience the self-nature of the mind.
The new way of speaking is a way of speaking without returning to the ego or to any individual but only aiming to show the truth that benefits the whole.
The new way of acting is not the way to act for one's own benefit but for everyone and all species. That way of action is capable of stopping only the causes of suffering and is the motive for all peaceful lives.
A new way of life is a simple way of life that is deep, simple but high, not putting your life in the illusory ivory tower but placing your life in relation to good cause and effect not only this life but also many life later; it is not only to put the relation of one's life in a category but the whole and not to put one's own existence in the five senses but in the purity of sex.
The new way of trying is to see the truth of suffering and to transform its causes, not to try to avoid or overcome the consequences of suffering; new effort is an effort to promote the inherent good potentials and efforts to promote those potentials to perfection; New effort is an effort to open and support others to realize their inherent good potential and help them develop that potential to perfection, so that all the world can live in in the perfect world and backed by perfect materials that are created by the good actions of each person for everyone and everyone created for each person.
The new way of recognizing is the way to confidently note this and the other, between this agent and the other agent, between this predestined relationship and the other, with this nature with that nature, with this phenomenon with the other phenomenon, ... with such a new record, they work to create deep calm for our minds, making our minds more and more stable, unaffected by the attractions of the five senses. time. Where to live, when and contact with everyone is conscious of light, self-control and calmness.
Therefore, the day of the attainment of the Bodhisattva has opened for mankind a new era of understanding, of action, of speech, ... all conveying the content of wisdom and compassion. good, bringing peace and peace to those who, for those communities who know to accept and live by the content of the material.
Without the successful day of the Bodhisattva, there will be no turning of His Dharma in the deer garden, and in this world, there will never be Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha appearing fully and completely. and the reason for peaceful refuge for the gods and humans in the sea of life and death.
Therefore, commemorating the day of the Bodhisattva's attainment to become a Buddha, our Buddhist monks and nuns, are not only memorizing well on the language, on the knowledge knowledge or on the ritual expressions that are empty but must be from Our true faith and bodhi heart. And the more we should not turn that day into a festive day, but to know how to turn that day into the day of right view, right mind and righteous liberation.
Free each other from the constraints of greed, attachment and wrong view;open to each other infinite constraints, earthy conventions and give each other the basic and minimal freedoms of the soul, so that together, to practice walking to perfect enlightenment status, benefit all animals.
We strive to practice and vow to live with the noble things of virtue and wish that we have made the day of virtue of the Blessed One to be alive and real. That noble day has been, will and will come to us and we have, perfectly and will come to that day not only purely by faith but also by acting "forgetting ourselves among all our people ".
