To reach the table with A-bar-king:
- Today the disciples went to another place, only five hundred people beside him. I will give you five hundred elephants to drink drunk wine tomorrow, when he comes into the city will drop them to slippery shoes, clean up all. At that time, I will become a Buddhist, teaching the world.
Hearing this, King A-rama-so glad to agree, came to where the Buddha bowed his head said:
- Dear Sir! Tomorrow, I am going to buy food items frivolous silver offerings, bent to the Buddha and the disciples came to the palace life supply.
The Buddha knew their plot, but said:
- Very good! Tomorrow I will come.
King salute and then leave. He came to say that Article-reached is the Buddha accepted the words, prepare the elephant to drink drunk, waiting time to come.
The next day, to the time of life, the Buddha with five hundred a-la-drought into the city. Suddenly, five hundred drunken elephants appeared, roaring, hugging the hose, the walls were flooded, the trees fell, the whole city was horrified, chaotic. Five hundred a-la-drought fly up empty, only A-nan stand beside the Buddha. At that time, the elephant drank to the Buddha. He immediately raised his hand, from five fingers instantaneously turned into five hundred lions, roared to roar across the earth. The elephants drunk bare feet, kneeling not dare raise his head. When the wine dries, tears regret rolling down on the faces of the other animals, so pitiful!
The king and the people were very scared. The Blessed One slowly came into the palace to consume, praying.
Lord Buddha:
- Lord Buddha! By virtue of ignorance, I believe in the virtue of the evil one, guilty of the five rebellions, the unrighteous scheme. Please forgive my ignorance for my ignorance!
The Buddha taught A-bar-the king and the mass:
- In the world there are eight jobs of defamation growth due to fame and good fortune, to the great sin of life difficult to escape. Eight of which are: profit, failure, honor, humiliation, praise, gratitude, pleasure, suffering. From ancient times to rare people escape the charm of these eight things.
The Buddha said the verse:
The story of the libel
It is always there
Laugh at the words
Generated by low voice
The central peace
Is there anybody out there?
Rise the mind to destroy the holy
Can not be successful
Dead and then complimented again
Just for good and for profit.
He was awarded a position of praise
New real talent.
Persons who hold the precepts
No defamation
As the la la net
No one dares to slander
Devoted by the gods
Pham, like to worship!
Talking finished, the Buddha told the story:
In ancient times, there was a king who liked to eat terns. He often orders hunters to tear the net daily.One day, the Lord led five hundred children to fly down to eat. Unbelievable lords are net, hunters caught. All the brigands panic panic, go on forever do not go away. But there is a follower to follow God, not afraid of bows, all day crying tragically, mouth bleeding. Touching the gratitude of the tern, the hunter dropped the bird back to the flock. Seeing the birds were released, the whole ecumenical swarm hovered around.
The hunter returned this to the king. The king was very touched, since then dropped the taste of eating venison.
Ending the story, Lord Buddha told the king:
- The Great King knows! This young thimble is me. The flying bird is Ananda. The five hundred children are five hundred Arahants. The king liked to eat venison is now the king. The hunter is the Achiever. For many generations, he has always sought to harm us. Through the power from the heart, we should always be safe, do not have a grudge against the evil, diligent practice until the Buddha.
