THE THREE BENEFITS OF BUDDHA.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
All the Buddhas have immeasurable and boundless virtues that no one can enumerate, but in short, there are three virtues: parisuddhi guṇa: having the grace of being completely pure in body, speech, mind, whether in front of or behind him; karunā guṇa: have compassion for all sentient beings like a mother loves her child (Buddha loves living beings like a mother and son, and ordinary people love their poor wife more than they have compassion for other sentient beings); paññā guṇa: having the grace and virtue of being completely clear and unobstructed of his wisdom, knowing the three worlds, penetrating all four species, knowing the craving for afflictions, knowing the causes of the craving for afflictions, know where to destroy craving and defilements, know how to practice to eradicate craving and defilements.
With these three virtues, he was able to convert sentient beings, gods and humans, easily.
The Buddha's Wisdom and Conduct ( vijjācarana )
All the Buddhas have 8 wisdom or enlightenment and 15 actions (actions) overlap. Eight intelligences or enlightenment ( vijjā): vipassanā ñāṇa: vipassana insight is wisdom knowing the ten dharmas of insight; mano mayiddhi: transforming mind is knowing how to transform your mind into many people or many people into one person; iddhividhaññāṇa: intelligent god knows how to transform magical powers; dibbasotaññāṇa: the natural ear is having ears to hear the far or near voices of people and gods; paropariyan ñāṇa: other knowledge of mind is knowing the mind of others, either greed, hatred, delusion etc…; pubbe nivāsānusati ñāṇa: good life is knowing well your past lives and all living beings; cutopapātaññāṇa: samsara is intelligently clairvoyant that clearly sees the birth and death of sentient beings all due to dependent karma that constitutes; āsavakkhaya ñāṇa: the wisdom of the corruption is the knowledge that knows all the dharmas of the cycle of death and that destroys them.
Fifteen conducts ( carana ): sīla saṃvaro: bound by virtue; indriya saṃvaro: collection of six roots for purity is not for the mind to be happy or sad, when the six senses are in contact with the six senses; bhojane mattaññutā: self-control in food (only eating one afternoon); jāgariyānuyogo: always awake, less sleepy; saddhā: having true faith in cause and effect and bodhicitta; sati sampajjaññā: always have remembrance and self-knowledge; hiri: guilty shame; ottappa: fear of sin; bāhusacca: listening to a wide range of learning; viriya: the right effort according to the four righteous need; paññā: wisdom clearly see the four noble truths; pathama jhāna: clear in the first jhāna; dutiya jhāna: clear in the second jhāna; tatiya jhāna: clear in the third jhāna; cattutha jhāna: clear in the fourth jhāna.
