1. Owning a salt currency must be reborn as a buffalo to repay debts

In the old days, in Ke Tan country, there were two younger brothers, the brother ordained as a monk, became a fruition and became Arhat. And my younger brother stayed home to build a business. The older brother often came to encourage his younger brother, who had to practice according to what the Buddha taught and regularly cultivated good fortune. If it is possible to cultivate, then not only will it benefit now, but at the end of life, it will also be reincarnated to a good place.

The younger brother always answered,  "Brother, I'm now a renunciate, don't interfere in these mundane things." I also have to take care of my wife, land, property, and money. I have so many things to handle, please don't waste your words, waste your time! ”

Later, the younger brother became ill and died, reincarnated as an animal, became a buffalo. Every day he had to transport salt to the inner city for his owner. One day, the elder brother came from the inner city to meet, then he explained. This buffalo listened to misery and cried without stopping.

The owner of the buffalo then asked his brother : "What did you end up saying, causing my buffalo to be so upset and sad?"

The older brother replied,  "This buffalo was my younger brother in the past, because he owed a meager money to him, so he had to be reborn as a buffalo, helping him work to repay his debt."

There is a very rich family in Ngõ Gia Dư village more than ten miles from Beijing, often called "the foreigner". About two miles away from their home was a farmer's family named Li, people often called him "Ly sen hai".

On the night of the spring of the following year, Ly Dai Ly was sleeping when he dreamed that Ho Tu with an extremely miserable face standing in front of him said:  "Ly Vien, I came here to pay your debt."  The foreign agent woke up feeling confused, but did not understand what he meant to sleep. But the strange thing is that he kept falling asleep, dreaming about the dream the first time and finally it made him unable to sleep again.

While he still did not understand how this dream suddenly knocked on the door. The servant in his house came in and happily said,  "Boss, our little donkey just gave birth to a mule. This mule is very big, also very tangerine with people ”.

After hearing the foreign correspondent, he immediately understood his dream, so he hurried to the resident:  "Hurry and beat this mule to death!"

The servant heard in shock and thought,  "What happened to the boss?" Is that nerve abnormal? ".

The foreign agent, seeing the servant standing there, did not budge, shouting louder.  "Can you hear me?" Let's quickly bring that mule to death, hurry up! ”.

The servant, being urged by the boss, rushed away to pick up the hoe, then hit the mule's head, the mule rolled to the ground and died.

Also at that night, Ho Tu naturally suffered from an acute illness that died of "any sudden death" but soon after that came back to life. Hồ Tứ remembered the fact that he had reincarnated as a mule, so he was both afraid and grateful for the saving of Ly Vien's life. Ho Tu immediately sold out all his assets to refund the debt to Ly Vien's foreigner.

A few days later, Hồ Tứ took a hundred thousand taels of silver to the house of Li to repay the debt, but Li knew that Ho Tu was miserable so he refused to accept and said,  "Last December I said that you owe me a debt. Hundred percent is just a joke, you shouldn't think so. ”  The two sides struggled for a long time, Ho Tu insisted on paying but Ly Vien Foreign still firmly refused to accept. Finally, Ho Tu said,  "If you don't accept it, I will sue you!"

The foreign agent heard that and said , "If you sue, I won't accept it!".

Then did not expect Ho Tu has actually events to the district command. The district official felt that the case was too unusual, so he inquired to the end. Hồ Tứ only now clearly told the tail of the incident. The district immediately sent someone to invite the foreign agent to come to the dentist and encouraged him to accept the money. The foreign agent still said that he didn't lend money to Ho Tu so he couldn't accept it.

Hồ Tứ from that incident all had a kind heart, no longer had the thought of doing wrong and was always grateful to the foreign agent for saving his life. As for the foreigner, Li has been a good guy all his life, so he will receive a blessing from his offspring. Local people have since memorized this story to set an example, and even later, people still remember this story.
