Lesson 10: CHAPTER UNIVERSAL.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

1. UNIVERSAL UNIVERSITY GOVERNMENT Buddha asked
At that time, Prussian Bodhisattva in the assembly stood up, walked around the right side of the Buddha three times, respectfully bowed to the Buddha, and knelt and clasped his hands and said,
- Venerable Mahā-Bodhisattva, because he said beings (the four generals) of cultivators meditate, causing them to wash away the delusion of mind and peace. This is an unprecedentedly great benefit.
-World Religion, sentient beings after the Buddha's life away, the saints sage again hidden, deviant pagan deviant very virtuous; So on the way to practice:
1. What prayers to pray for?
2. Must practice any medical method?
3. What behavior must be followed?
4. What diseases must be deducted?
5. How to develop a mind like?
May Buddha mercifully instruct and make the beings who are still bewitched, from being devastated.
Prussian Preacher Bodhisattva sometimes like that three times, bowed his head, then returned to the old place.
THE SOLUTION
The word "Prussia" is enlightened throughout. On the way to practice, one has to face many obstacles. The obstacles that are due to accept four generals that were born. Therefore, in the 9th chapter, the Pure Land Bodhisattva Bodhisattva stood up and asked, so that the Buddha could only show the four generals so that the practitioner could know. When the four generals eliminate all the karma period is pure.
But on the way to practice, the practitioner was also very subtle Ignorant clouds, that is, the four later illnesses covering Vien Giac's moon, making Vien Giac moon shining uncommon.

2. BUDDHISM BUDDHISM, UNIVERSAL PRACTICE
Then the Blessed One praised Prussian Bodhisattva and taught,
- Hey Thien nam, very good and very precious! He because of the next life, asked Tathagata to follow such austerities. It is the generosity of sentient beings after the eyes of the director without fear (the fearless eye), which makes sentient beings into the Holy Paths. So you should listen attentively, I will because you only teachers.
At that time, the Prussian Bodhisattva Bodhisattva and the general public were happy and quietly obeying the Buddha's teachings.
THE SOLUTION
This Buddha praises Prussian Preacher for being, praying to Buddha for teaching the austerities so that sentient beings will go straight to the Holy Fruits, no longer afraid of falling into wrong views.
"The director's eyes are not afraid." To the director of understanding as clear as the eye sees the path, it is called the "moral eye" (director of the eye). On the way to practice, there is no longer any fear of falling into wrong view, so saying "fearless" (fearless).
3. BUDDHIST BUDDHIST UNIVERSITY
- Hey Thien nam! Sentient beings in the next life who wish to develop the mind of Mahayana Buddhism must seek Good knowledge, that is, those who understand the right path (right understanding). The mind, the mind does not reside in the general and also not attached to the scene of Thinh Van, Pratyekabuddha; Although currently in the ceiling, but the mind is often pure. Sometimes they show up to be with the sinners (fellow photographers), but often praise the pure conduct (virtue), not letting sentient beings do sin.
Practitioners must pray to such people, teach them to practice, to attain Buddhahood.
THE SOLUTION
This section Buddha answered the first question of His Prussia Bodhisattva asked: "What are the prayers for prayer?". Great idea Buddha answered: A practitioner wants to achieve Buddhahood, must meet two conditions:
1. Inside, the practitioner must develop the Mahayana mindfulness as the Chief Justice.
2. Outside, it is thanks to the Knowledge-Compassionate Friends, to guide the path of austerities to do the right cause. If there is inner love but lack of love, or if there is external love, lack of love will not be successful.
Song, praying to Friendly Knowledge, must be the "Right Understanding". How do you know who is "Right understanding?". Practitioners must use the following two aspects of perspective and adversity to observe, will distinguish how is "Right understanding".
1. Pros. For the sake of this Knowledge, the mind does not dwell in the bliss of ordinary people in heaven or heaven, nor does it reside in the serene scene of the selfish negative negative selfishness of the Hinayana, Thanh Van and Pratyekabuddha.
2. Adversity. Because of this Knowledge, the embodiment is in the scene of pollution (bare tuberculosis) in order to transform beings, but the mind is not polluted, following the Bodhisattva's "companion of photography" to transform people.
Sometimes he must appear to do the same mistake as a human being, but never use grudging reason to justify his mistakes, on the contrary, always praise his pure conduct and criticize his mistakes.

- Hey Thien nam! Sentient beings of the next life, if they meet such a Good-Knowledge-being, have to wholeheartedly make offerings, not sparing their bodies. When he keeps the four pure dreads, the respectful practitioner has committed, but when he appears to be confused with sentient beings as sins, to educate sentient beings (co-photographers), one should not birth of contempt is easy.
- Hey Thien nam! For this Friendly, Knowledge-holder, if one does not initiate a contempt of contempt, the flower-heart (Heart-flower) will be expanded, illuminating all ten directions of the world and the attainment of Buddha.

The main idea of ​​this paragraph is that the Buddha taught: "Y Dharma is unwholesome." In the Pure Land Commentator said, "If the other Knowledge-Compassion, can explain the profound meanings of the Buddha, lead the practitioner to cultivate the right path and benefit, then he or she must wholeheartedly respect and respect the Buddha." Dear Buddha, one should not think of the wrongdoings of Good Knowledge. Such as the bad juggernaut containing pearls, do not leave it for bad things. People with scabies holding torches take practitioners through the dangerous road at night, do not criticize people without using torches. " So is the spiritual leader: when he finds the Good and Knowledge, he can lead the practitioner on the path of spiritual practice, the practitioner must follow before reverence. When the Knowledge of Good Knowledge keeps the precepts pure, the respectful practitioner has committed, but when He works for sentient beings in accordance with the Bodhisattva's "Companion photography", Religious people should not see that being born accept and despise. To be like that, the new certificate of Buddhism.
4. BUDDHISM FOUR DECISION
- Hey Thien nam! The other good knowledge, has witnessed the magic and left the following four diseases:
a. Illness  (Doing good works)
As someone who accepts like this: "My mind, because want to pray Vien Giac, should do all the conduct." But the other Vien Giac nature, not by doing that. Because practitioners take the "do" to pray for Giac Vien, so-called "sick" (sick to do).
THE SOLUTION
The word "Tac", means to do. Tanh Vien Giac is not made by "doing". Just like the moon, it's not like a parrot. Therefore, practitioners accept: "Must be the virtues to enter into Vien Giac", then it is not possible. Because nature Vien Giac is pure, invisible and smuggled, but practitioners use compounded French to pray for the realm of immaculate purity, it is not possible, so called "sick do".
Read up to this paragraph, readers can not help wondering: Why the previous article Buddha taught: "Want to enter Vien Giac, must diligently abandon evil deeds, do good deeds etc ..."
At this point Buddha said, "... Nature of Enlightenment is not due to virtuous actions, but if acceptable by doing, it becomes a disease of" work ", etc.". Buddha's words before and after conflict. If you don't think carefully, then readers won't understand.
We used to give an example: If we want to keep the classroom quiet, what should we do when there is no noise in the classroom? If there is any noise, the classroom will not be quiet. As well as want to Tanh Vien Giac immaculate purity, it is impossible to use compounded property that is expected to pray. If using organic property expectations that demand, then never Vi Vien Giac invisible pure.
Even so, the person who wanted to enter Vien Giac had to go through two stages:
1. The first stage, the person who wants to enter the pure Vien Giac, must have a practice, quit evil deeds, do good deeds, etc. tranquility, the first stage, must use noise to treat noise. Meaning that the teacher had to tap the ruler first on the board to get big, the students would stop making noise. Just as people say: using poison, poisoning in Tao: taking hope to eliminate expectations.
Until the students were silent, the teacher still knocked on the board repeatedly, so that the classroom could be quiet, it was impossible. Because knock is a sound, very contrary to the net, how to get the "dynamic", to pray for the "net" for it. Just like the user of a compound artifact, to pray for Vien Giac, it is impossible.
2. So should go to the second stage: The teacher must stop typing the board, the classroom will be completely quiet. As well as practitioners, to eliminate the disease "do", to be pure Giac Vien.
People who want to come to the rescue, first have to use the raft to study to cross the river. But when it came to the shore, how can you hold on to that raft forever?
In short, practitioners who want to enter the pure Vien Giac, have to go through two stages:
1. In the first stage, the practitioner uses the raft to study and abandon evil to heal to cross the river. In other words, use the knocking of the teacher's board to eliminate the noise of students.
2. To the final stage, the practitioner must abandon the organic compound to cultivate and hope to get to the shore to free the other. Or change the saying: the teacher must stop typing the board, in the classroom to be still.
Also this idea, in the sutta "Four Decades of Chapter" Buddha teaches: "... Tu tu tu tu, tu chung tu evidence ..." Means: tu to tu tu new tu real tu, testimonies to the unreasonable is real evidence etc ..
Therefore, ancient people have taught that: "Organic property, though disguised, discharges the rule of Buddhism, the Buddha is sincere": The practice of friendship, though the fictional character does not mean anything, but if the practitioner leaves, then Buddhism enters vi difficult to succeed. Or the sentence: "The real geography of any real life, the most neutral subject of discharge of the best France": It is true that the true nature of truth (Vien Giac), not a single life, but about the general practice is like What does not give up a good deed.
b. Acne  (Ignoring, not practicing)
- Hey Thien nam! As there are people who accept this: "I do not need this life and death nor Nirvana. People who want to pray for Giac Vien should not be mindful of killing and rebirth or praying for nirvana.
Practitioners accept such, is sick to (ignore); because of that Vien Giac nature, it's not like to leave it alone (enter).
THE SOLUTION
The word is ignored. This disease by practitioners: "Tanh Vien Giac is not due to austerities, to make the happy and so on ... that can enter." Should practitioners to let the industry turn, not afraid of guilt, not blessing, birth and death, Nirvana is not precious; Therefore, he could not enter Vien Giac.
c. Illness  (stop thoughts)
- Hey Thien nam! As someone who accepts such things: "I now want to pray for Vien Giac, so I have to stop all the thoughts, so that all dharma equals are quiet".
Accepting such, is sick "only"; because of that Vien Giac nature, it is not because of "stopping only" expectations that enter.
THE SOLUTION
The word "Only" is ending memories. Because the practitioner sees the "operative" disease that causes the mind to start, the "Nham" (ignoring) causes the mind to be unruly, both cannot enter Vien Giac, so the practitioner turns back to the "Only" position (stops).
Because expectation that sees the other wrong law, is not equal, so practitioners practice "Only" to stop expectations. Who knows: Tanh Vien Giac does not have "mindfulness", if initiated, left, Vien Giac does not have "Only", if the practitioner again "Only", then how to enter Vien Giac.
d. Ill kill  (Kill the negativity)
- Hey Thien nam! As someone who accepts like this: "I now want to pray Vien Giac, should permanently pass the negativity, any body and mind scenes, all vain delusion is not real, ultimately quiet". Using the "cessation" (silence) that Vien Giac prayers is acquired; because nature is not Vien Giac silence.
THE SOLUTION
The word "Kill" is the end of disturbing emotions, the mind and the mind are all silent. Song Tanh Vien Giac has just passed away (quietly) and has been shown (spirit vision). President and Projection not two. Practitioners only accept one side "President" is not suitable for nature Vien Giac.

- In summary, the leader must leave the four diseases to enter the pure Vien Giac. The person who contemplates to eliminate four such diseases is the Head of the Mindfulness; otherwise, Ta Ta.
THE SOLUTION
This paragraph summarizes the four diseases. The word "operative" is done; "Taking" is not doing, leaving it alone; "Only" refers to the thoughts of being and being; "Kill" is the end of defilements that have arisen. By nature Vien Giac real being immortal, non-structural, impetuous, un-contingent, non-smuggled, that practitioners use Tac, Nham, Chi, Kill etc ... to pray, is not in harmony with Vien Giac.
Mr. Nhu Son said: Take four diseases "operative, Nham, Chi, Kill" and contemplate his thoughts, if there is any food, then it will be sick; all four diseases must be deducted to enter into the pure Vien Giac.
5. BUDDHIST ANSWER THIS QUESTION: "WHAT TO DO HAPPY?"
- Hey Thien nam! Sentient beings in the next life want to practice, they must respect and respect the existence of Good Knowledge. When the Friendly Compassion is near, one should not despise. When the Compassionate Knowledge goes away, one should not be angry.
When the Compassionate Knowledge arises upon the scene or upon the contrary, the mind of the practitioner must be like nothingness, not change. The practitioner must know clearly: his body and mind with his teacher and sentient beings, with an equal, ultimately equal being. Practitioners have to practice like that to enter Vien Giac.
THE SOLUTION
This Buddha answered the third question: "What must we do?"
Hanh Bodhisattva is very much, but the worship of the Master is very necessary. Because the life of the Dharma is weak and weak, without the guidance of the Master, the practitioner cannot be lost in the wrong way. Therefore, practitioners must respectfully serve the Master throughout their lives. Regardless of whether the Knowledge-Compassion-Making does things favorably or heartlessly, one must keep a reverence and mind like nothingness should not change.
Practitioners must contemplate: Teacher and sentient beings and we are the same Vien Giac, not only other. Therefore, the practitioner can abandon his arrogance to worship him, forget the ego to be born. Must practice like that, to enter Vien Giac.
6.  BUDDHIST ANSWERING THE QUESTION FOURTH: "WHAT MUST DISEASE DISEASE?"
- Hey Thien nam! Beings later, not being enlightened, are all due to all the seeds of hatred and compassion, from nothingness to now. So should not be freed.
If the viewer of the injustice as well as the parents is no different, for the Dharma, the mind also does not hate, discriminate against self, then he will eliminate the sick.
THE SOLUTION
Before his enlightenment, Pratyeka Bodhisattva asked Buddha, "What diseases must be deducted?". This paragraph the Buddha answered: "Must except the injured hate."
Granted, in lesson 9, Buddha taught to love and hate, but only talked about the rough (current). By this stage the Buddha taught minus on the subtle part of love is hate seed. If there is a little bit of pity hidden inside making obstacles, then one cannot enter the pure Vien Giac.
When practitioners, who are injustice with their parents, see equally as their parents, see samsara and nirvana as not, they will be able to enter the seed of love and hate and can enter the pure Giac Vien .
7. BUDDHIST ANSWER TO THE Fifth QUESTION: "HOW MUST BE GENERATED?"
- Hey Thien nam! Sentient beings in the next life who wish to pray for Enlightenment must have the mind like this: people who are not attached to Vien Giac in Vien Giac; except all generals Nhon and Nga etc .. ”. Have to develop such a mind, so as not to fall into wrong views.
THE SOLUTION
This Buddha answered the fifth question that Prussian Bodhisattva Bodhisattva asked Buddha, "How do I develop the mind?"
The Buddha answered that the mind must be like this, to avoid falling into wrong view:
1. Generous mind: May all beings (ovum, pregnancy, low, chemical) in the ten directions;
2. Play the mind ultimately: The sentient beings enter Vien Giac save glass;
3. Phat mind usually: Staying in Vien Giac without starting accept where Vien Giac;
4. Play the mind is not crazy island: Do not start thinking crazy idea accept the generals: Falls, Nhon, Beings, Life and Generals born.
The two first minds are Dai bi, the second center is Dai Tri. Bi and Tri are allowed to use the four four-pointed-to-be. Prussia's question is similar to that in the Kim Cang Sutta, Tu Bo De's question: "Van ha is still?" (Must be mindful?)
This paragraph says the word "Phat mind", meaning the heart vows. As people say, "Solstice". Thanks to the vow or the will of people, the people who practice spiritually overcome many obstacles and promote their spiritual success. If "Prayer" is very necessary, then new diligence. So that quickly gets results. The Buddha also thanks to vow, and then follow that vow to become enlightened.
If practitioners do not have their "vow" to motivate them on the austerities, it is difficult for Buddhahood to attain.
8.  BUDDHISM TALKS, ABSTRACT THE MEANING

Pho Giac! He should know:
The next beings,
Want to pray for good knowledge
You have to pray for the right viewer,
The mind is far from the Second Vehicle,
And minus four sick things:
Do, stop, ignore, kill.
Close to the teacher do not despise,
How the teacher should not be sad.
Seeing strange realms,
The mind must be born in sacrifice.
Watch as Buddha was born
No sins
Pure base precepts
Degree of all beings
Finally into Vien Giac
No more General Nga and Nhon.

Proof of "Enlightenment" on "Nirvana".
THE SOLUTION
The intention of this verse is to summarize the above meanings: The sentient beings who want to seek Good Knowledge must find the right person. How to know right view? Is minus the four diseases and separate from the Second Vehicle thought.
How to treat Thien Tri: when you are close, you should not despise, when you are far away, don't be upset. When seeing the knowledge of good knowledge, the practitioner should not change because he sees that the mind changes and must be as rare and respectable as Buddha was born. Practitioners must keep the moral conduct pure, not guilty and the level of beings, ultimately into Vien Giac.
