At that time the Buddha asked the "mind" again for a second time, and told Mr. Anan to clearly distinguish which ones were the right mind, and which ones were disappointed.
Buddha taught: He now wants to lead the Supreme Bodhi, the closest thing is to understand two basic things:
- One basis of samsara is samsara.
- A basis of Bodhi, Nirvana, is the mind.
If he got the basic mistake of samsara (disappointed mind) as a monk, then he could never be liberated. Just like the person who receives the enemy, only adds to his inheritance. And just as a person who cooks sand makes rice, oil can not last for many years.
Now, if you want to know the way of austerities to get out of samsara, then please listen to me:
The Buddha immediately held his hand, reviewed the five fingers and asked Mr. Anan: Do you see?
Ananda replied: "World Honored One, see.
Buddha asked: -What do you see?
Anan replied: I saw Buddha bringing his hand to five fingers.
Buddha asked: What do you take to see and take what makes mind?
Anan answered: I take the "eye" to see and the "discriminating thought" as my mind.
Buddha rebuked: Very ignorant, Anan! that is not your mind.
THE SOLUTION
We should note: Usually everyone has the "discriminating mind" that is his mind, and Buddha says "not the mind". So we need to really consider that place.

Anan panicked, stood up, Buddha: World Honored One, what is this "thought, discrimination", if it is not my mind then what is it called?
Buddha taught: it is "delusion" (disappointment). By the time he came, Lamg received "delusion" as "Chon Chon", so many lives incarnation. As the enemy took the child, should be attacked by the enemy.
Anan ladies: White World Religion, because the new Buddha should renunciate, the new sun to use this mind that love Buddha. I worship the Buddha in the ten directions and do all the merit, also using this mind. Even if you do sinful things, destroy Buddha Dharma, fall into hell, you use this mind. Today Buddha said "it" is not my mind, thus becoming like I have no mind; If there is no mind, then the field is like a tree and a stone! Bowing the Blessed One shows mercy and compassion.
Buddha taught that: Anan if he accepts the "thought, discrimination" as his mind, then when leaving the present scene, that "knowing, distinguishing" mind is still there, so it must be the mind. your. If leaving the scene of the present money, and that mind of discriminating knowledge is gone, then it is not his feet and mind.
Even if he destroys the five external perceptions, that is seeing, hearing, or knowing (the five senses), only the inner "discursive" within (sixth consciousness) remains, that is the delusion. distinctive (sixth sense) the legal form of the ceiling is not his feet.
Ananda, I do not force you to accept the "discriminating thought" that is not your mind; I just told him to honestly consider: if he left the present scene, and this "discriminating thought" still remained, it would have to be his heart.
And if you leave the scene of money, but this "thought of discrimination" is also lost, then it is clearly the "discrimination delusions" (mind) of the six ceiling, not " his true mind often dwells ”.
If he takes the "nowhere distinguish discrimination being born" (delusions) now as his mind, then when the scene is over, the mind also follows that scene to kill. At that time, he had no heart. If there is no mind, then he takes something to practice, and attained enlightenment.
He must know that: in the world all austerities, not being enlightened, are due to the wrong attachment of this "delusion of thought" (the mind of mind) as true (chon mind).
He himself is the same today, so although he learned a lot, he didn't get a fruit.
Anan and the General, listening to Buddha say so, were bewildered and silent.
At that time, Mr. An-nan bowed his head to Buddha, knelt, clasped his hands and cried, saying, "You have been a Buddhist monk until now, because relying on you is the younger brother of Buddha. giving direct results, do not need to practice hard; No doubt anyone who took the testimony could not replace each other.
Today I lost my "mind" and then went home, but the mind didn't go into the religion, just like the same son and son who left the father and ran away.
Now I know how to study a lot without practicing as well as those who do not study, as well as people who talk about enough food, eventually still hungry.

Buddha taught: Not really! Without the hand, there is no holding the right hand, the eye is not the "seeing" without.
He should go out and ask the blind people, "Do you see anything?", They all replied to him, "Only see darkness." That is clear: The blind man does not have an eye, but the "seeing" also remains.
Here is the proof: Although the eye is not, and the foreground scene is dark and light, the view is always present (say the seeing represents the five senses).
Ananda: The blind man sees darkness, so why is it called seeing?
Buddha asked Ananda: A light-eyed person in a dark house sees dark, together with a blind man who sees dark, so are those two nights different?
Ananda answered: -Bach The Ton! not different.
Buddha asked: Another thing in the house is dark, if someone brings a lamp in, they can see things, so does the lamp see or the eye see?
Ananda answered: It feels cool, not the light.
Buddha taught: Also, the blind man when stripping the clouds, see the scene, that is the mind, not the eyes.
Buddha taught: -The lamp only makes light objects, and the view is the eye (for the mind) and not the lamp (for the eye). Go up one more level: the eye only makes things clear, and the view is the mind, not the eye (this is the first time Buddha points the mind).
Ananda and the audience, after hearing the Buddha's teachings like that, were silent, but in their hearts they did not understand, so they respectfully clapped their hands together, waiting for the Buddha to teach them more.
THE SOLUTION
In this paragraph, please add this example to make it easy to understand: His eyes are like a temple light, and his "seeing" is like electricity. When the cord is broken (example nerve broken) shadow damage (example blind eye), the lamp does not burn, not lose power (not see). When the new ball was replaced, the electricity became strange again: it was not the ball or the wire that had the electricity.
The "seeing ?? It's the same with people: when the eye is clouded, it only feels dark, not the "seeing", until the cloud is removed, then the "seeing" appears, not by the eyes. This paragraph shows the "seeing" Buddha is the mind.

Buddha asks: Does my hand open, or does his "view" open?
Ananda said: - Buddha's hands opened, but his "view" did not open.
Buddha praises: It must be.
Buddha again launched a halo on A nan's shoulder: Ananda then turned his head to the side. Buddha again radiated on Ananda's left shoulder; An-Nan turned her head to look to the left.
Buddha asked: His head today why did he turn around like that?
Ananda said, "Because Buddha is radiating light on my shoulders, so I turn around to watch.
Buddha asked: So his head shook, or did his vision shake?
Ananda said, "My head swings back and forth, and my view doesn't turn."
Buddha asked: -Who is active, which is net?
Ananda said, "My head has movement and tranquility (stop), but my view has no motion and tranquility."
Buddha says: Yes
Buddha continued: - What is there, there is open, there is action, there is a net, there is birth, there is death, then that is expected, belongs to "guests" not him. Anything that does not move, opens, does not arise, then that is "feet", belongs to "owner" is he. Such feet and expectations are very clear, he did not understand or why!
Why from any time until now, you keep getting the expectation-body of four great false, said to be "his" body; this chief rebirth-kill, arguably his "mind"; fake scene scene, for the "real" scene of his scene, but leaving the mind is often immortal being his immortal saün there there? Because of that, you must have had many lives of rebirth, it is very unjust!
THE SOLUTION
This paragraph the Buddha indicates that the "seeing" does not open, and there is no birth, death, movement, tranquility, that is the true mind that is revealed.

At that time, Ananda and the audience heard the Buddha temporarily say that "seeing without moving and opening is mind", they all rejoice and rejoice, and think: From beginninglessness to now, we lose our minds. , receiving the delusion discriminating according to the shadow of the mind making the mind, today I realized my mind, so I am very happy. Just like a child thirsty for a long time, now he met her mother, so he and the Buddha pray to the audience to show where the body and mind are currently, the true leg does not arise and that any hope can be destroyed. .
At that time, the king of Persia stood up and said, Buddha: -Bach The Ton, before he had not received any teachings with Buddha, I heard the sect of foreign religion - the Shakyamuni and Pi-la-chi said, "This body after death and death." surely, called Nirvana. "
Today, although I was taught by the Buddha, I still have doubts: how to know and certify that this mind does not arise. Please teach us compassionately.
Buddha asked: -Out of the United Kingdom! His body right now, is it as strong as a diamond, forever broken, or perishable?
The King responded: -World Religion, the body today, eventually eventually destroyed.
Buddha asked: - He is not dead, how to know it will be destroyed?
The King responded: -World Religion, the impermanent body of this child, though not dead, but now it has faded away! day after day, day after day! Every thought through, through the moment na (tick-stop) does not stop! ... as well as firewood to ashes, burn gradually until dissipated! That's why I know, this body will definitely destroy.
Buddha says: - yes!
Buddha asked: -Out of the King! His body must be destroyed immediately?
The King replied: -white World Religion, day after month, all summer to winter, he secretly died old, until this day, his teeth and teeth fell out, his knees were loose, his eyes were blurry, his eyes were so old, that I really don't know or don't know!
Bach World Religion, when he was twenty years old, despite saying that youth, beauty is actually older than when he was ten years old. Thirty years old is older than twenty years old. To this day, sixty-two years old, older than fifty years old.
It silently died old, taken in about ten years time to say so. If thoughtful, this old, dead, not limited to about ten years or twenty years, but actually, but it is old every year, every month, every day. If you think about it more carefully, it will, die every minute, every second and every minute! This year is older than last year, this month is older than last month, today is older than yesterday, this hour is older than before. This minute is older than the last minute, until this moment is also older than the previous moment. So I know, this body eventually annihilates.
THE SOLUTION
Just like a clock, because it runs every second, so every minute counts. Because I go by the minute, I only arrive at the hour, and the day and so on.

Buddha asked: -Dai King! He saw his body silently dying like that, so he was sad; So in this body of death, the old and the dead, do you know anything that doesn't kill and die?
The King of Concerns folded his hands and bowed respectfully.
Buddha taught that: -I am only showing him what does not kill.
Hey king, when you are only a few years old can you see the river water forever?
The King replied: - When I was three years old, my mother was brought to the audience to see her, and she passed over this river, so at that time, I saw the river.
Buddha asked: - Today you see the constant river, so is that "seeing" different?
The King answered, "When my three-year-old son saw the constant river, when he was thirty years old and now he was sixty-two years old, he saw the constant river."
The Buddha taught: today he is worried about his body being old and weak, with a gray face and wrinkled face, not as young as he was. So now sixty-two years old, he saw the Ganges River, along with when he was young, he saw the Ganges River, is that "seeing" old and young?
The King of Persia anonymous: white world, the "see" no old and young.
The Buddha taught, This great body, though your face is old man, so whoever is old, that thing will be transformed and destroyed; If any one is not old, the one will not change. It did not arise, then there is no way he could make it rebirth. Clearly like that, he did not understand why but still led the words of the pagan Mac-old -Leaver said: this body died and completely destroyed?
The king and the king who heard the Buddha's teaching already knew that the dead person is the mind that leaves this body and feels other body, not completely lost. Everyone rejoiced over the unprecedented benefit.
