Causes And Circulars Buddha Shakyamuni Talks About The First Four Noble Truths
Buddha Shakyamuni, after attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree, immediately thought of bringing His teachings just to be witnessed and propagated to sentient beings. But his teachings are teachings sublime, profound, and sentient beings are mostly inferior, difficult to enlighten as quickly as he is. But maybe because of His teachings even profound magic without teaching beings? In order to fulfill the chemical task of n Buddha, the means of saying the Four Noble Truths is that of the Dharma Teachers, so that sentient beings can easily practice.
Observing the apartment with his five former initiates, Kieu Tran Nhu, who was enlightened with the Four Noble Truths, the Buddha went to Deer Park, where they were practicing to speak the Four Noble Truths.
After listening to the Buddha sermon the Four Noble Truths, the broken vision of delusion, the supernatural wisdom appeared, these five were enlightened, the certificate of A Arhat. Those were the first five disciples of the Buddha Shakyamuni.
From here onwards, the Four Noble Truths are the basic teaching of the Seminary (the method of slowly cultivating and cultivating) and enlightenment to so many Buddha's sons.
Today, we bring the Four Noble Truths to you to detoxify in this booklet, and it is not for that purpose.
B. Right Concise
I. Definition of the Four Noble Truths
Quartet is four; Dieu is beautiful, precious, utterly; Truth is the most certain certainty. Sanskrit is Ariya Saccani.
The four noble truths are the four most sure, precious and complete truths that no non-pagan teachings can match. With the four truths that the Buddha has promoted here, a practitioner can go from a dark, ignorant position to gradually attain enlightenment with certainty, without running, like a sacred torch that can illuminate pedestrian walk in the dark to the destination. Because of such a valuable, miraculous and extremely beneficial use, it is called Dieu.
The Word also means the greatest, the highest Truth, which embraces all other Truths and is immutable forever, rather than the limited truth in space and time.
In the Hinayana teachings, the four marvelous teachings are the basic teachings.
II. What Does the Noble Word Be Included?
Four magic soles, are: Suffering, Cessation, Dying, and Dao.
1. Suffering (Dukkha). Suffering is the true truth, clearly presented to us to see all the pain in this world that every being has to suffer, such as Life is suffering, Pain is suffering, Elder is suffering, Death is suffering VV .the sufferings fill the world, surround us, immerse us like the sea. Therefore, the Buddha often likened to life as a vast pool of suffering.
2. sole practice (Sameda Dukkha). The magazine is the true truth, presenting the cause of suffering in this world, is the reason why there are such troubles. Suffering as a manifestation of the disease; while the sole is to say the cause of the disease, the reason why there is disease.
3. Kill crickets (Nirodha Dukkha). The ultimate cessation is the truth of truth, clearly presenting the situation of the peaceful and good fruits that sentient beings will attain until they have eradicated the sufferings and the causes of suffering. Removal of the Emperor as a guarantee of a physician clearly states that after a sick person will eat, sleep well, how his body will be fit, and the soul will be relaxed.
4. Path (Nirodha Gamadukkha). The Noble Truth is the right, sure way to eradicate suffering. That is the truth that indicates the way to go to Nirvana. Put simply, these are the methods of austerities to eliminate suffering and to be happy.
The truth is the same as the prescription that the physician ordered for the sick to buy and give instructions that the patient needed to follow.
III. Magic Composition Of Four Noble Truths
The four noble truths have been arranged by the Buddha in a very clever, logical, and orderly manner. Nowadays, Western and Western Buddhist researchers, every time it comes to the Four Noble Truths, in addition to the profound meaning, relevant remarks, also summarize the praise for the architecture, the layout, the subclass of the whole that method.
First, the Buddha showed sentient beings the tragedy of the present life. Does this tragedy lie before us, in our ears, in each of us; truths that can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, touched, not where they are strange. Who is a being, who is not born, who is not sick, who is not old, who is not dead etc ...? And all these states carry the whole nature of suffering. Had body, must suffer. It is a simple, clear truth, that no one is not aware of, if there is a little comment.
By showing people the suffering before, around, and within each of us, the Buddha went through the second stage, which is to show beings the origin and reason of those sufferings. He went from the present to the past, from the surface to the depth, from the visible to the invisible. Thus, his reasoning was based on reality and on the things that could be experienced, not strange, remote, vague.
At the third stage, the Buddha presented to us the pleasure of suffering. This phase contrasts with the first: how miserable the stage is, then this is such a joy. The realm of pleasures that He presents to us here, is nothing ambiguous, perishable, because if there was suffering, it was joy. and when it became clear how suffering was, then he sought to escape suffering and desire towards the joy that Buddha introduced.
The fourth stage is the period when Buddha taught the methods to perform that joy. Here we should note that the Buddha presented the realm of liberation first, then only the following austerities. It is a very clever, right-of-the-way presentation: before telling people to go, they must state how the purpose will come, then let people consider, whether or not to go. If people realize that the purpose is noble and beautiful, then they will be enthusiastic and try hard to manage it to achieve that purpose.
Thus, we can sketch the layout of the Four Noble Truths painting as follows:
We are standing in front of a great painting consisting of two main parts: The lower part is a vast abyss, a wind and waves, in which the boats are sunk, with countless victims diving, screaming. , crying, playing with ... (Suffering soles).
In this part of the picture, we also see the causes of those disasters: the winds of desire, greed, hatred, ignorance ... dark ignorant clouds obscuring the sun. (Tap base).
Looking at the top of the painting, we see the scene gradually brightening, quiet; Here, the thunderstorms could not come, there were no deep pools, dangerous holes, no victims were groaning, wailing ... this is a highland region, high and high, the scene is more beautiful and peaceful. The people here look calm, relaxed, happy; and as well as the landscape, the more people in the higher ranks, the more beautiful appearance, non-way, liberation ... (Kill the Emperor).
in this section, if we pay close attention, we see that from a scene below to a scene above, there are paths with title signs, very nice such as satipa xứ xứhāna, the four righteous thoughts, foursome as expected. Eightfold path etc. ... On those roads, a lot of people are going up, and very few people are going down. and the higher you go, the more cool and spacious the road and the less pedestrians bring luggage ... (Dao De).
The painting had words written in the lower part that said: "The world" and the upper part were "The worldly".
Here, the Four Noble Truths picture clearly presents before our eyes two realms: the World and the World, as such contrast. Those who have seen the picture all have an attitude of wanting to leave the lower part of the picture and wish to live in the realm presented at the top of the picture.
BECAUSE. The Important Position of the Four Noble Truths In the Whole Teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha
The Four Noble Truths are the basic teachings of Buddhism, not just for the Hinayana but for the Mahayana too. A spiritual practitioner wants a sure result and cannot ignore the Four Noble Truths. This method, though slowly progressing, is one step at a time. Although this method does not lead the practitioner directly to the Buddhahood, with diligence and determination it can easily lead the practitioner to the Arahant. Then, from the Arahantship, he will cultivate another Mahayana dharma, to reach the Buddhahood. Based on what, any level can practice this method, not like some other disciplines, requires a high level of education and an intellectual level above average to be able to follow. Therefore, it is a popular practice for both the Hinayana and Mahayana, Theravada, and Mahayana sects. Today the practice is the most popular in the world. Most European and American Buddhists who follow this practice are the books of Buddhist studies, of which Western Buddhists speak the most about the Four Noble Truths.
C. Conclusion
Buddhists Must Learn and Practice the Four Noble Truths
A basic, important teaching like the Four Noble Truths, Buddhists cannot help but understand. Not understanding the Four Noble Truths is not knowing anything about Buddhist teachings. Buddhists, more than anyone, must comprehend the world of suffering. Therefore, nothing is more than listening to the Buddha teaching about the Noble Truth of Suffering, because only the Noble Truth of Suffering speaks fully and accurately about all the sufferings of the world.
Seeing clearly all suffering then we need to find out because there is no suffering, where is the cause of suffering. Because only when aware of its origin, can eradicate its origin. This, too, does not say clearly, clear circuit analysis by the Roman Empire. But to see all the suffering of life and its origin, not to be bored, cry, and groan. If so, nothing negative is pessimistic. Some commentators mistakenly believe that Buddhism is pessimistic because they have stopped at the first two parts of the Four Noble Truths.
But Buddhists do not stop there. Seeing suffering makes life ugly, dark, suffering, then we must eliminate suffering. Happiness is not far away, happiness appears after eradicating suffering. Suffering back and forth, whichever is happy to see it, as the darkness melted to the pain, the light instead. To see the light of Nirvana, one must follow the teachings of Buddha in the Elimination of Truth.
To realize Nirvana, there must be sufficient means. By these means, the Buddha has fully provided in the Path.
Thus, Buddha Shakyamuni fulfilled the task of guiding us from the dark realm to Arhat. He has placed in our hands a clear map of the journey and gives us all the necessary means on that great trip.
We just have to go and walk. END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.20.1.2020.
