A. Open Topic
There is a saying in the proverb: "Eat without worry, all of the treasures will be gone." Indeed, even if the money is lost in the forest and money, the inheritance will also dissipate. For rich and lazy people like that, let alone for the poor, laziness is a very dangerous disease ...
Farmers do not diligently plow, fertilize, slap water, stay up late, worry about everything, then in the rice season, it will surely fail, lack of money, shortage of debt, all year long. .
The mechanic or the tailor is not diligent with the job, lazy to play and play for months of the year, because the money is not abundant so it is hard, until the illness becomes even more miserable.
People who go to trade, do not diligently stay up early, buy algae to sell, they must suffer losses and suffer losses for many days, bring debts to the stores, so they have to go to furniture stores and have a fortune.
In Buddhism, too, laziness is a sin. People who do not study diligently stay up early to meditate, contemplate, recite the Buddha's teachings, don't worry about propagating the Dharma, keep sluggishly passing through the day, and spend a little bit of their masters; If I didn't save myself, how could I suddenly! At present, there is no benefit to the religion, after death, debt must be paid to the benefactors. In general, lazy people, whether in real life or in religion, do not succeed in whatever they do.
To avoid these harmful things, we must cultivate the Dharma effort.
B. Right Concise
I. Definitions
"Tinh" is an expert (purely) a thing without any interference. "Attack" is to move forward forever, without interruption or regression.
The two words diligently speak in the common sense of diligence and diligence; According to Duy, the effort is one of eleven good mental states, not part of crime. Therefore, those who diligently do wrong things such as diligently digging a road, and gambling with alcohol are not diligent, but the only way to learn is called "distraction" (let go of lung).
II. Composition Of Essential Tantra
a) Diligently prevent evil. Meaning that the evils, up to now I have not done, then from now on also diligently do not let it arise. For example, from when until now, we have never killed animals, robbed thieves fraudulently, teased the moon, telling cruel lies and gambling, etc. ... then from here on we have to be diligent add up, try to keep it from arising.
b) Diligent effort to eliminate evil that has arisen. Meaning that the evil that we have done before, we must strive to eradicate quickly, for example, if we accidentally create the crimes of greed, robbery, lust, and arrogant anger, now we must be diligent. so don't let it grow any more, but you must eliminate it quickly.
c) Diligence makes good things arise. Meaning that so far there are good things we have not done, then we must be diligent in order for them to be discovered in action. For example, for a long time we have not done good deeds, contributed to the poor and the poor, or we have not taken refuge in the precepts, fasted for reciting Buddha's name, learning to listen to the sutra, etc., from today We must diligently make these things arise.
d) Diligence makes good things grow. Means good things have arisen already, now we must diligently make it grow even more, or we have already taken refuge, now we must make vows to uphold the precepts. If we have received the Five Precepts, we must now diligently cultivate the eight Precepts ... In short, all the good deeds from real life to religion, we have done, we must be diligent in how each one is developed.
IV. How Must Be Diligently Righteous Dharma?
Effort, like almsgiving and moral observance, has two aspects:
a) Being diligent in accepting generals. There are people in front of everyone, very diligent, wandering about this and other things, showing diligence and hard work to be praised, but when no one looks, they are very helpful. There are people who fear people who scold, rebuke and make diligence but when he is free, no one controls it, he lets go. There are people who are diligent with a spirit of eagerness to win, more determined than people to be proud.
Being diligent with an impure mind, such as for good name, for good, because of pride, etc.
b) Being diligent in not accepting generals. Effort not to accept generals is to be sincere and sincere, not because of desire but because of our many sins, so we are determined to fix them, we need to be freed from reincarnation, so we need to urgently cultivate diligently . Diligent people do not accept generals, whether in the middle of the crowd or alone, whether someone reminds control or not, whether achieving high or low results etc ... will never change willpower and attitude. his advance, the purpose of the ghost is to liberate himself and people from suffering of samsara.
IV. The Merit of Diligent Devotion
In all careers, greatness in life, or glorious results in virtue, the only secret to success is diligent dharma. Being diligent as a petrol makes the car run. Even though the engine is good, the driver is good, the road is flat, the purpose is close, but without petrol, the car remains in one place.
So the final sentence of the Buddha Shakyamuni to the Disciples before passing away is: "Everyone, make efforts to liberate." Those who uphold the Three Precepts, diligently keep the five precepts and do the good deeds, will be born again as humane, happy and fully alive. Those who diligently practice the 10 virtues and practice the Fourth Jhana and the Eight Precepts will be reborn in the Heavenly Realms of Heaven, Lust and the Precepts. The person who sees the misery of birth and life is boring, determined to eliminate the defilements, diligently cultivate thirty-seven assistant products, the result will be the four fruits of Van van. The person who sees the twelve causes and conditions is the source of many rebirths of samsara, diligently cultivates and decides to eliminate the twelve conditions and will attain the Pratyekabuddha. The Bodhisattvas, according to their innate nature, are diligent in the practice of giving generosity; worthy of the innate nature, diligent practice of patience and patience; worthy of selflessness, diligent practice of maintenance of the three precepts; deserve according to the nature of the President, diligently cultivate the practice of meditating on the three paramitas of meditation ... In short, the Bodhisattvas while cultivating, because they deserve to be the true nature of their mind, practice the six degrees, not accepting at the falling place General, the Prime Minister, the sentient beings, the Prime Minister, feeling that he is not there, there are people, with the ability, to try it, then when the Bodhisattva almonds are fulfilled, they will attain Buddhahood.
Seeing that is enough to know the merit of great effort. Practicing the same method, every effort will be effective, if not diligently, it will completely fail
C. Conclusion
The value and benefits of diligence are inconceivable, so in the course of our work and our religious life, we must always prepare diligence, like a driver preparing petrol, before making any distant journey. If we don't cultivate diligence, fail to conquer entertainment, let go of it, then we consider that the work we are about to do will fail completely. The practice of spiritual practice, going from the edge of enlightenment to the enlightenment, is thousands of miles long, going through a storm of rain and rain, if we do not have the virtue of diligence, such as talisman and the secret to proceed, then we only around forever in the sea of birth and death.
Once again, listen to what the Guru teaches, still ringing in his ears: "You people! Be diligent up to the rescue. " END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.21/1/2020.
