4.- Duy Thuc Tong Or The French General Tong

I.-  Duyen Khoi Lap Tong

If one clearly understands that all phenomena in the universe, the cause and the self are not real, just due to the manifestation, like the scene in a dream, that is no longer disturbing, creating karma- obstacle anymore, then no longer bound, in the wheel of birth and death.
In order to break down the two real and true dharma attachments, the Buddha had many methods, many meditation methods, and Duy-Thuc-Ton or Dharma-generals is a necessary practice. very effective to go to liberation.
II.-  Definition
Religion belongs to Dai-admit, split-universe, thousands of property are due to wake up.
Duy-religious formula, or French-general religion, as the noun has indicated, does not talk about the mind as feet, but only talking about the general of consciousness, which is also the general of the dharma. Knowing that from the harmony chon turn into form of A-Lai-Da form, then the consciousness of A-Lai-Da gave birth to the mind of mind-law, etc. is "France-minister Ton".
In terms of cause-cause, the study and religion advocated that the universal universe, or all of the dhammas, was created by the unconscious consciousness, but there was no other factor besides consciousness. should be called "The only way religious".
So "France-generals religious" or "Duy religious method" are also to call France-religious subjects that just-only research, observation-minister-action and the cause of birth of all things. The cause of birth-arising is "Consciousness".
III.-  Basing on the following Sutras Creating Duy Thuc Tong
Like all other sects, Duy-religious formula is based on the basis of the Buddha that was founded. Those are the 6 sets of sutras and the following 11 treatises:
The six sutras are:
1.- Kinh Giãi-intensive-secret
2.- Kinh Hoa-strict
3.- As Tathagata appears dignified-merit-merit
4.- Business A-Pi-reached-ma
5.- Kinh Lang-strict
6.- Kinh Hau-serious (or Secret-serious).
The eleven treatises are:
1.-Luan Du-geography
2.- Luan-Luan Duong Luan
3.- Commentary Mahayana
4.- Commentary Mahayana
6.- The Discourse of Discourse
7.- Distinguished treatises Yoga
8.- Abhidharma Comment-charmed
9.- The Commentary on the Method of dual-chanting
10.- Argument-central-boundary
11.- Comment-Essay
The founder of Duy-consciousness is the Bodhisattva Maitreya. Germany-Maitreya after the testimony of Duy-consciousness, was intentional at the request of His Infinity-first, said Abhidharma-Position Master.

In the Tang dynasty, Xuanzang came from China to India to request Buddhist teachings and consultations on Buddhism. His forte is Duy-consciousness. After returning to China, he collected the quintessence of the aforementioned 10 orders, translated into Han-Chinese, under the title: "Thanh Duy-Luan Luan", including 10 books in total. Khuyu-Khue is a major disciple of Mr. Huyen-trang will explain more clearly the meaning of the meaning "Thanh Duy-Thuc Luan" made into 60 volumes, under the title of "Thanh Duy-method-signing art".
In summary, in India, the person who has the greatest contribution to the promotion of the Shakyamuni Buddha is His Holiness. And in China, the greatest contributor to the spread of Duy-religious religion is Huyen-trang.
In terms of books on Duy-consciousness, from the past to the present, considered by scholars to be the chief of the Duy-consciousness, there are three sets of the following:
1.- Mahayana Dharma enlightened discourse (fake tatc is Mr. The-body). The content of this commentary explains the technical nouns of Duy-consciousness, stating 100 dharma and two non-self dishes. People who learn Duy-knowledge, if they do not study this argument first, it is not easy to be curious about Duy-consciousness (this thesis has been translated into Vietnamese and we take the title: Duy-introductory method).
2.- Duy-tam tam recited (also created by The-Body). In this treatise He The-Body uses 30 chants to explain the main meaning of Duy-consciousness, this thesis is divided into four parts:
a). The first part talks about three function-variables:
-The first function-variable is the formula A-lai-da (the fourth eight).
-The second function-variable is the wake-na-na (seventh consciousness).
-The third function-variable is the previous six functions.
b). The second part talks about the mental states:
-Resort (5 pieces)
-Display (5 pieces)
-General (11 pieces)
-Patience-affliction (6 pieces)
-Correction-brain (20 pieces)
-Estimated (4 items).
c). The third part answers questions:
-How to know the fate of being-arising of consciousness?
-If there is no exterior, then there is samsara and distinctions?
-If there are no external scenes, then why are they being sentient beings?
-If only awake, why Buddha said there are three nature?
-If there are three nature, why does the Buddha say three dishes of non-nature?
d) The fourth part talks about the Duy-tu disciples:
From the development of Duy-consciousness to until the certificate of enlightenment becomes Buddha, the practitioner must go through five positions and grades as follows:
-The Private-salary (like food at the door of the road).
-Permond (processed tons of goods).
-Professional communication-understanding (through the way).
-Professor-practice (practice-practice).
-Final salvation (to the ultimate tu tu tu tu).
3.- Bat-formula-old procedure (author is Mr. Huyen-trang). The content of this book, Mr. Huyen-trang uses 12 recitations to compile the meaning-meaning of Duy-consciousness, including four parts:
a). The first part talks about the first five awakening
b). The second part is about the sixth.
c). The third part talks about the seventh consciousness
d). The fourth part talks about the eighth final.
Each part has three chanting, the first two chanting say the action-generals, while the author is still in the position of the sublime; The third poem says action-items, when up to the Saints.
In short, these three treatises, who want to learn Duy-consciousness, cannot be ignored.
IV.- Principle  Of Duy Thuc Tong
The policy of Duy-religious is to destroy the attachment of attachment, the law (to turn the attachment of attachment), by showing beings that all things are dependent on the appearance (y-tha start), and the purpose finally leaves sentient beings back to the true nature (members-sincere). This phenomenal world, because of delusion, we think it is true, but because of the advocacy of Duy-consciousness, the universal universe is the only-transformed consciousness. Like Son Ha, the great landscape in the dreaming landscape, there is no such scenery.
So, if only the sentient beings can see clearly, how the universe of materiality appears due to consciousness, then surely sentient beings will no longer accept the true self or the dharma. Just as when you know that the scene in the dream is caused by the mind of astrology, there is no more confusion in the dream scene. But no longer dream-awakening news. Also, when there is no longer the true self, true dharma, all will see the true scene of the universal universe, (the true nature of members). That is the policy of Duy-formula.
In a nutshell, the policy of Duy-ton is the universal universe to return to Duy-form, then from Duy-form to return to wake-consciousness (chon-like mind or member-senses ).
V.-  Composition of Gender Phenomenon
(the universal universe of mind and dharma).
Classified By Duy Thuc Tong
Gender phenomena, that is, everything in the universe (including mind and matter), however, it is indescribable, but under the eyes of the Duy-scholars, it can be classified into five categories; The five categories are further divided into 100 components or 100 dharma s.
The five major categories are:
1.- The mind-king is the "general" of consciousness, belonging to the mind-world.
2.-Mind-facility ie "use" of consciousness, also belongs to the mind-world.
3, - Sac-ie "image-statue" of consciousness, belonging to gender-identity.
4.- Invisible correspondence means "the wrong taste" of consciousness, which does not belong to the mind nor to the gender identity, but consists of both parts.
5.-Infinite means "nature" of consciousness, also known as "feet as"
The four categories above: mind-king, mind-facility, color-law, incompatibility all belong to "organic", that is, "General, with birth and death."
The fifth type is the "unconditioned" dharma, not being eradicated, not creating, ie "the nature" of the dhammas, or feet.
The five categories mentioned above, each type is divided into many components, having separate administrative effects, which we need to study the following century:
1.-Tam Vuong
The mind of the king consists of a plate of dishes, each with its own characteristics, abilities, and duties, as each king owns each country, so it is called the king. The eight parts of consciousness are:
a) Awareness labels
b) Awareness
c) Technique
d) Awareness
d) Body consciousness
e) Consciousness
h) Re-wake up
We have five senses, each senses has a special ability, a specific knowledge: when we look at a flower, know that flower is yellow or red, etc. That knowledge belongs to the eye, so called consciousness . When we look at the instrument, know whether it is high or low, loud or small, etc. That knowledge belongs to the ear, so we call it the ear. When we smell a smell, know whether it smells good or bad, that knowing belongs to our nose, so our hair is awake. When we taste a dish, know whether it is salty, sweet or sour, that knowledge belongs to the tongue, so it is called true food. When we touch something, know whether it is hard or soft, hot or cold, that knowledge belongs to the body, so it is called the physical body.
The five knowing on this: Labels, Auricular, Tày, Thiềutva Body, belonging to the five external officials so we can easily receive.
The three knowing later: Ythưsc, Mạt-na-awakening, A-re-awakened, introverted, and according to the class, hidden deep inside, more subtle, so difficult to recognize. However, for the only intellectuals to know, one can clearly recognize the executive
distinguish the scope of activities, strengths, shortcomings and functions of each.
First, we refer to the sixth consciousness or "Consciousness".
Consciousness has two areas of activity:
-When the consciousness fades to the previous year, coming into contact with the scene, it is called "Sleep of Consciousness", this is "Minh liu consciousness". While the eyes see the sharp, the headset sounds etc ... without consciously subordinating (paying attention), although the eyes will still see, the ears will listen, but the hearing will not be clear. The book says: "The heart is irresponsible, the child has no idea, the child has no idea" (if he doesn't pay attention, even if he doesn't see it, he won't listen). On the other hand, when there is a sense of subordination, seeing, etc. is transparent.
-When the consciousness works alone, not cooperating with the previous consciousness, it is called "Single mind," or "Head of consciousness". flavor, taste and contact, but in the mind still retain the silhouette (French ceiling) of the ceiling. When we remember, the naked scene clearly appears in the foreground, which is the use of "Head of Mind". This sixth consciousness, when calculating, thinking about something, good or evil, or bad, is also more clever than the other consciousness, so in the only way to say: "Defender, misdemeanor" (Yes cngthì it heads, but also guilty it heads).
The sixth consciousness, though a knack for being clever and clever, has a knack for being abnormal, not always present, but sometimes interrupting, hidden, like during anesthesia, fake death , falling asleep, or entering into utopia, etc ... Through these stages, consciousness reappears.
So while consciousness doesn't show up, where does it hide?
According to the only consciousness, then, the sixth consciousness back to its origin is the root consciousness, that is, the seventh consciousness or the Mahā-na consciousness. Psychologically, it can also be called subconscious.
This seventh consciousness has two functions:
-Flipping down;
-Make the basis for the sixth consciousness.
It has the merit of bringing the external phenomena outside "transmitting" into the consciousness and bringing the internal elements of "discharge" out so it is called "the transmission of consciousness". The fall of this news and that of the sixth consciousness are different and gross. When you pay attention to conserving the ego, like when you shoot a fight with the enemy, when fighting, or looking for a way to make a living, that attachment belongs to the sixth consciousness. In fact, there is no time when we do not accept self, that attachment is still permanent in us. but it's silent, deep, direct, so we don't notice it. By the time he was bewildered, suddenly something happened that was harmful to our life, such as suddenly someone lurking, or walking down the road with broken branches about to fall ... in those moments, though awake Friday did not pay attention to intervention and coping, but we still dodged and conserved the self.
In addition to the aforementioned seven consciousness, there is an eight more subtle, more profound consciousness, which is the A-consciousness again, the translated Chinese consciousness, meaning the "Hoarded" consciousness.
From small to large we read a lot of books, contact with many things, and as time passed by, we thought we had forgotten. Yet no! Every time he thought of it, the nouns and images of the old things clearly appeared like a movie back in front of him. Those image nouns, why are there still decades? Of course, there must be an endless storage room, so it won't lose! This endless store in religious consciousness is called consciousness (consciousness).
In order to make it easier to remember the general and the function of the above eight consciousnesses, the ancients did the verse:

Fish bowl brother, most fish si
Most exclusive fish, miscellaneous
Sleeping fish fillet money soft
The most respected author of the family.
Translate:
Brothers eight uncle a si (seventh consciousness)
Alone very cunning consciousness (sixth consciousness)
The five men at the door of the business (last year)
Own the house, stay awake (the eighth consciousness).
2.- Mind
Consciousness is the nature of ownership and dependence of the King, as well as the mandarin of the court, under the authority of the king, or the dependents under the authority of the Minister. The mental states have all 51 dharma, divided into six categories as follows:
1.- Variations of the mind: Variables are common, onions are in circulation; Behavior of the Consciousness means that mental states have universal function which circulates throughout the eight consciousnesses (consciousness), with which they are equivalent. The mental activity is composed of five things: contact, action, feeling, perception and thought.
2.-Special mind: Mind is separate, Special Scene is the mental state of each scene separately, such as sex Center charm separate from the scene you want; Hue concentric mind separately with the wings that we observe ... rather than the mental variables. The mind-set of mind has 5 dhammas: sex, victory, mindfulness, concentration and hue.
3.-Good mental states: Good mental states are good and have the power to generate good things only. Kindness of mind consists of 11 dharmas: Tin, Tam, Precious, No greed, No birth, No ignorance, Diligence, Contempt, Unattractive, Social, and Harmless.
4. -basic mind-base mental affliction: these mental states are disturbing, disturbing for beings. These are the defilements that cause the disturbing emotions to arise, so-called the disturbing emotions-bases. The basic mental afflictions include six dharmas: Tham, San, Si, Man, Nghi and A-Kien.
5.- Depending on the mind-mental afflictions: These mental states rely on, arising from the mental afflictions based on the mind above, so-called mental afflictions. The basic mental afflictions on the top of which these mental afflictions are tops. Dependent mental-mental afflictions include 50 measures are: Frustrated, Hau, Phu, Brain, Disabled, Xan, Bench, Siege, Harm, Arrogant, Infinite-minded, Infinite-precious, Tao-election, Soul-bass, Real- Credit, Entertainment-Entertainment, Report-Release, Lost-concept, Can-type, Non-righteous.
6.- mental uncertainty: Non-definition is not certain; mental uncertainty are mental states that are not necessarily good or evil; do not stand on the right side of good or evil; as the aforementioned measures. Uncertain mental disorder consists of four measures: Hoi, Mien, Tram and Tu.
3.-Sac
Lust-Dharma means things that can be corrupted and have obstacles. Sac-dharma is a combination of the five senses and the six senses, plus a total of 11 dharmas:
The five bases are: Eye, ear, eye, eye and body.
The six ceilings are: Sac, silence, incense, taste, contact, and dharma.
4.- Incompatible law enforcement
They are neither of the rupas nor of the mind; but they cannot leave color and mind. For example, "DAC" (to be) is a "incompatible-like". "Be" is neither rupa nor mind. But when saying "yes", it means that the meaning "gets" something, but "gets" a silver coin, for example, and there must be a second element of "who". The coin belongs to the identity, "who" belongs to the mind. And "okay" is not a new identity and mind. It is an example for us to meditate on the other Dharmakaya which are not compatible, such as mind-base, birth, cylinder, singularity, cessation, method, speed, etc. including a total of 14 dharma.
5.- Non-legal measures
As the passage above said, the law of vi-invisible is the law of not being, not destroying, not creating, creating, not changing, away from the vanity General. The immeasurable method, for ordinary people, it is difficult to speak, think and compare. However, in order to have a conception of the physical nature, the Duy-consciousness advocates rely on the form and the name to envision the infinities. Therefore, that put the following six non-measures:
a). Nowhere no-vi: Want to say the body-feet-like, away from all obstacles, like nowhere.
b). Trach-kill non-vi: Trach is selected, Removal is eradication, that is, thanks to the right-choice of smuggled Wisdom that eradicates the pre-existing afflictions and enlightenment. .
c). Non-scaffolding kill infinity: above, it is said that thanks to the choice, the wisdom of wisdom that eradicates the defilement before. But saying that does not mean that legal-nature thanks to the eradication of negativity-afflictions can be obtained. Dharma-nature is inherently available, this ancient capital is pure-bar, no pollution, no birth and death, so called non-trach vi-vi. Again the second meaning is due to lack of grace, so the negativity-defilement does not appear; so that the immeasurable immeasurable dharma manifests itself, without the need for cessation.

Sac most cross, French Bowl
The five decades most fish mind
Second of four strains incompatible
Six dish tasteless, into hundred French
Translate:
Sac eleven, legal eight
Fifty-one mental dishes
Twenty-four incompatible dishes
Six dishes, micro, into hundreds of dharma.
VI.- Method of practice
As we all know, the universal universe is extremely complex, but the idealist can organize it into 100 categories (encyclopedia). One hundred of these types, although different forms of supernormal abilities, are also all Awake.
So the method of spiritual practice of the intellectual is how to realize the reason of the whining, then merging with that truth. To achieve this goal, the idealist teaches to practice the following five disciplines, called the "Five Elements of Knowledge and Knowledge". With these five dharmas, one goes from gross to subtle, from complex to pure, to finally only see the nature, that is, the true mind.
1.- Remove the fake damage, save the real damage. (control damage, real existence): Abandon the false memories of false memories are accept real self, there is the legal nature of "variable design" created. Save the true nature, ie the nature "y-tha-origin" and "member-city". In other words, it is easy to understand that in this custom, one has to contemplate and the dharma is not real (broken) to destroy the real attachment. Practitioners again y tha tanh, members are real there (real) to break the mortgage. In the way of this single-minded restaurant, "yes" and "no" treat each other, leaving "variable design" to save "y tha" and "member".

3.- Take the tops back to the root (the monastic mandate): The tops here are meant to talk about the general and part share, and the root here is the evidence itself. The share and the part is "used" are according to the testimony of the part that originated, so called tops; also the evidence is "physical nature" so called the root. This third way of thinking is to use "use" and "can" treat each other, but the goal is to remove the relatively less important part of using (knowledge), only to retain the basic part that is (self-evidence section).
4.- Hide the paralysis to show the victory (hidden show the winner): The Paralysis is meant to mean here the mental states, the Win is the mind king. Consciousness depends on the mind of the king, so-called paralysis, or inferiority; mind king is the wrong part to actively use, so it is called winning, or better. The fourth single way of thinking is to bring the 51 mental states to the eight mind-consciousness, and the purpose is to eliminate the mental consciousness and reveal the eight mental states.
5.- Abandon the Prime Minister on the Tanh Tanh (control of the Tanh Tanh): Four floors of the Duy Duyen shop above, though ultimately only retain the King mind, but the King also has the General and the Tanh. This fifth custom is to bring generosity to reason, the ultimate goal is to abandon the generals of consciousness (consciousness) to return to the nature of consciousness (consciousness), which is also a certificate of Dharma nature. or Chon as (readers want to understand more clearly, please see the only formal disciplines of His Excellency Thai Damage Dharma).
In addition to the five classes of Quan Yin Method we have mentioned above, there is also a very easy and practical way, suitable for the masses that we often observe and review our interior.
Let us be unique about the two types of mental defilement and mental consciousness in the consciousness, in order to clearly see the appearance of the general, their uses, their characteristics and their names. Then we review each day inwardly: Every time we bring up a thought, we carefully review and closely observe this mind of good or evil (disturbing emotions). If the mind is good, then we nourish it and develop, but if the mind is evil, we will quickly eliminate it. We know that the change of bad mind (cultivating the mind) and cultivating good character (nourishing nature) like that must lead us to attain sage (see the mind-training book and nourish the nature).
VII.-  Practitioners Must Go Through Five Positions While Practicing Duy Duy
The practitioner of the Knowledge of Knowledge method, as well as the pedestrians, from the moment he gave birth to the intention to go to the destination, must go through the following five stages or five positions:

In Duy consciousness, there are three receptions:

Unconvincing unsolicited

VII.- Results of the Evidence
a) Practitioners: after having been diligent in cultivating the delusion, the previous five phenomena of our nature are eyes, ears, eyes, eyes and bodies, and the condition of the five-ceiling realm is color, purity, flavor, and taste. So that we can see colors, hear sounds, smell odors, taste and feel the world around us. But the value and range of activities and uses of the five consciousness are very narrow and often misleading, fake to make real. Therefore, we create the karma of samsara, spinning and spinning in the six paths. For Duy-tu cultivators, when they have already achieved, this consciousness will turn into the mind of "becoming working", meaning that this mind has immense functions such as manifesting the miraculous transformation, out of three incarnations, giving birth according to the physical basis of beings.
b) Dieu contemplation: when still in the second consciousness known to measure, calculate in a small range, the range can not be covered throughout. therefore, it is often wrong, confused, and entices the body and mouth to do many evil things, creating the karma of samsara. Until the testimony was Duy-result, then this sixth consciousness transformed into the observation of the marvelous mind, that is, the observing position is miraculous, visible to the world; In every world, we can see all beings, how many minds in every sentient mind, etc. .

IX.- Practical  Benefits During Learning And Practicing Mindfulness

To know the internal organs, we must study surgery.
Regarding the mind-nature we are even more ignorant. Sometimes we think we understand our interior very well, very wrong indeed. So want to know the mind-nature clearly, let's cultivate the Duy-consciousness. As mentioned above. The only method of learning has analyzed, divided, meticulously, meticulously, psychologically, we list many types; Each type has its own name, action, function, scope of operation. Learning Duy-knowledge, we see the inner part as clearly as a mirror, see everything on the face. We will know the evil mind-thoughts to eliminate (cultivate the mind), the good-natured qualities to cultivate (nourish the nature). Therefore, we will become gentle, ethical people.
2.- We see our inner government: The psychology of each newcomer is extremely complex; but if we think carefully, we see that there is still an organization almost like a federation; the other Mind-kings as a President of the federation; the other Mind-United as the head of the ball-ball; the mental states-Acting as a Minister; Special-Minds like the Prefects and Prefects; Uncertain mental states such as nonpartisan representatives; the Mind-Facility Thien such as the integrity-of-the-integrity or the public servants new mind for the people for the country; disturbing mental affiliates such as corrupt sightseeing, robbery loot, etc. ... the offspring (good, evil, no-sign) are like the whole people in the federation.
With such an interior federation, if we know how to harmonize the internal government apparatus firmly, then of course that federation will be strong, mighty, and progressive civilized. On the contrary, if we do not master the internal administration, then the federation will be chaotic, hungry and sooner or later, it will fall into a dark abyss.
The unique method of learning helps us to see clearly our inner government, in order to self-regulate peace and peace.
3.- We cultivate a good quality which is "patience":
Learning Duy-knowledge, first we learn the virtue of patience. Indeed, the impatient person can not learn to come to place, because this subject is split psychologically and annoyingly; Each mind also has many professional nouns, and is carefully studied about the nature, behavior, general status ... those who do not endure, superficial, hot tempered, unable to succeed on the path learn the Duy-dynasty. So only the people who are patient to succeed, or vice versa, want to succeed, they must practice the virtue of patience. From ancient times to present, in religion or in real life, those who have great success are due to the virtue of patience.
4.- we keep our attitude calm and calm: As previously noted, everything in this universe is due to awakening, not sure. Therefore, when we are lucky, we are not proud, arrogant, and high in tribute; When we encounter sadness like a farewell to death ... we are less miserable, weep, maintain a calm attitude and also tell the world that we are temporary, like clouds flying, like wind, so we are not drunk wrecked, greedy, nostalgic, and thus, we gradually reduce the karmic holdings, quickly being released.
5.- We firmly believe:
Learning the Knowledge-based knowledge, we see its superior value, so the more strongly we believe in our religion, a religion that is not based on unique dogma, but based on experimentation, and taking people's inner heart as the basis for their cultivation.
