Lesson 6: CHAPTER THANH THANH HUE .VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.
1. HE THANH THANH HUE TANH TURN ASKED BUDDHIST
At that time, Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue Bodhisattva, who was in the Mahayana stood up, walked around the right side of the Buddha for three rounds, then clasped his hands respectfully, bowed to the Buddha's feet and knelt straight and said:
- Venerable Venerable Mahā Biāriatri, He did for us, cleverly speaking things that are inconceivable. The things that we have until now, have never seen and never heard, today thanks to the Buddha's declaration makes us enlightened, our body and mind rejoice, to have great benefits.
Venerable Buddha, ask him for the Bodhisattvas and all sentient beings in this dharma assembly, teach the Tathagata of the Tathagata class how to give birth to the present and the next life, and listen to the Buddha's teaching. , which is enlightened, in turn depending on the Nature of Enlightenment of the Dharma King (Buddha).
Thanh Tinh Hue asked so sometimes three times, respectfully bowed to Buddha and then returned.
THE SOLUTION
The intention of this paragraph, Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue Bodhisattva asked the Buddha: On the path of austerities, from the status of a human being to a Buddha, how many positions do you have to go through? What is the difference in the class of tu tu? Pray for the Buddha to teach, making sentient beings become enlightened, in turn, enter the nature of Vien Giac.
Thanh Tinh Hue is pure wisdom, that is, Bat Nha Hue . From this chapter to the next 6 chapters, the emphasis is on elaborating manual maneuvers. While practicing any time and time, you must use the Prajnaparamita to lead; So this chapter Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue stood up and asked, typical of Bat elegant Hue.
2. BUDDHISM BUDDHIST THANH TANH HUE TABLE
Then the Blessed One praised Thanh Tinh Hue Bodhisattva and taught,
- Hey Thien nam, very precious! He because of the current Bodhisattvas and sentient beings, asked Tathagata about how different from the tu tu class. So you should listen attentively, I will because you teach.
At that time, Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue Bodhisattva and the General Assembly were happy and respectfully obeyed the Buddha's teachings.
3. BUDDHISM: IN MEMBERS WITHOUT BODY AND THEIR BEAR
- Hey Thien nam! In pure Vien Giac nature, not all dharma, but all the dharma. It depends on the conditions to appear all, without prime and non-witness. Such as the eye, seeing all things, without seeing oneself. It remains equal without finding itself equal.
Hey Thien nam! In real generals (Vien Giac) there are no Bodhisattvas and sentient beings. Why? Because Bodhisattvas and sentient beings are illusory. When the illusory generals are gone, there is no witness and proof.
Beings because still crazy love so should not eradicate the illusory generals. Because sentient beings expect to use, to counter the illusory generals, because there are illusory generals who have died and not gone, they see a different class of false proof. If people depend on Tanh Vien Giac passed away of Tathagata then, then no longer see the scene of passing away and passing away.
THE SOLUTION
The intention of this paragraph Buddha said: In nature Vien Giac which does not have all the law, but depending on predestined appear all the other legal errors. This passage is similar to the passage in the Shurangama Sutra. Buddha, for example: the tree: There are no good and bad songs in the tree; But depending on predestined it appeared all the good and bad.
In Vien Giac nature there is no energy, defense and energy evidence, no Bodhisattva and sentient beings. Because beings have not eradicated the illusory generals, so expect to start using them to eliminate these illusory generals. Therefore, there is evidence and there are advantages and differences in class. If the person depending on nature is Giac Vien passed away of Tathagata then, then no longer see any one at all.
In this paragraph there is an example: "As the eye cannot see the eye". This example shows the equality and useless nature of Vien Giac. Tanh Vien Giac depending on predestined appearance of France that is not defensive, not evidence. Just as the eye of equality shines on all things, but does not see itself as being illuminated and equal.
4. PHU TUYEN THUAN MEMBERS (TRUSTED LOCATION)
- Hey Thien nam! All sentient beings from beginningless time to now, due to the mistaken belief that there is "our true self and our own things", and then being born of love for our self and our own things, so if we encounter adversity against us, we will hate and be happy with us. craving, passion according to the five scenes. They never knew that this body and mind was vain, each thought of being eradicated always, not really us.
If met with friendly knowledge and knowledge, they are enlightened to Tanh Vien Giac pure, understand that this body and mind is the delusion of each concept of birth and death without real self; then they can confirm themselves: this body and mind is "bare labor expectation".
Those who are able to eradicate these burdens of perpetual eternity are enlightened to the pure precepts, but to Vien Giac nature is not free yet, because there is still an obstacle of "knowing pure" the so-called ordinary people depending upon nature Vien Giac.
THE SOLUTION
The passage (number 3) is about the nature of Vien Giac pure equality that said, so there is no Bodhisattva and other sentient beings. But in terms of the general practice that the thesis has a clear evidence of lang tu class. So from this paragraph (No. 4) later said the class entered Vien Giac, starting from the Ten Tin, Tam Hien, The Holy Cross and to Buddhahood.
General idea of this paragraph, said the Ten Trustees depending upon nature Vien Giac. Because all sentient beings from nowhere to now because of our delusion and our scenes are true, so born of greed, hatred, etc. "Our scenes" are disappointed, not real kill, then they will eliminate the ego, so that the world is pure. But, because "still know pure", so there is still legal accept not deducted, so there are obstacles Tanh Vien Giac. Therefore, they should be called "them Phàm phu (the 10 followers) depending on the nature of Vien Giac".
5. Bodhisattva IN TAM HIEN, CUSTOMERS EVENT MEMBERS
- Hey Thien nam! All of the Bodhisattvas, because they still accept the "pure knowing" (awareness), should obstruct the nature of Vien Giac. Now although the obstacle is that (the pure knowing) but still in the "sense". So also stubbornly in the place of "feeling", so nature Vien Giac still obstacles, not being free. Therefore should be called Tam sage Bodhisattva, depending upon nature Vien Giac.
THE SOLUTION
These Bodhisattvas, while leaving the "pure knowing", but also the "know the senses". Because there is a "knowing" as obstacles, Tanh Vien Giac is not manifested. General idea of this paragraph says: Sage Tam Bodhisattva depending upon nature Giac Vien Giac, Tam sage is: 10 cylinders, 10 virtues and 10 dedications.
6. BODY UP ON THE PURPLE, PRIVATE THUAN MEMBERS
- Hey Thien nam! If there is "knowing" (projection) and also "feeling", then there are obstacles (because there is energy and facility).
So Bodhisattva often "senses" but not abide by "sensory", solar projection and quiet projection. Bodhisattva itself using obstacles to eradicate obstacles (expectation to kill expectations), when the obstacles kill off, there are no more killers. For example, there are people who cut off their own heads, when the head has fallen off, then there are no people to cut off.
Hey Thien nam! All the teachings of Tathagata are like fingers to indicate the Vien Giac moon. So you must know: this is a Buddhist finger and not a Vien Giac moon. If you only persist in your fingers, the moon will never be seen. Those who know the tip of this Buddhist finger, and receive the Vien Giac moon, are called Bodhisattvas to the Holy Land, depending on the nature of Vien Giac.
THE SOLUTION
The above paragraph says that the Bodhisattva in Tam Hien still "knows" and also "senses". To this paragraph said: Bodhisattva went to the Holy Land, though often "sensory" but not head before "sensory", because no longer power and facility. Just as people cut off their own heads, when the head has fallen, there are no people cut and those who are cut off.
All Buddhist sutras are the means to the feet (Vien Giac). Practitioners must rely on the means to come to truth; if obstinate where the means never come to truth.
The teachings of Buddha are like fingers pointing to the moon. People who want to see the moon must see with their fingers, when they see the moon (truth) and must forget their fingers (means). If stubbornly on his finger (means) he will never see the moon of truth.
This example is like in the Shurangama Sutra, Buddha for example "fingers pointing to the moon and so on ..."
7. AS A PRIVATE CUSTOMER MEMBERS
- Hey Thien nam! All obstacles ie saving glass sight, mindfulness or mindfulness are liberation, moral precepts, or breaking the precepts are nirvana; wisdom or ignorance are also Bat elegant; Bodhisattva and heathen are Bodhi; Ignorance and Chon are like the same realm; gender, concentration, wisdom and lust, anger (anger), si are pure conduct; beings and nationality at the same time the Dharma; hell and heaven both do Pure Land; charming and inadvertently become Buddhism; all defilements are ultimately liberated, because the Dharma of the Dharma Precepts on the generals as well as the emptiness. This is called Tathagata depending upon nature Vien Giac.
THE SOLUTION
The above paragraphs have said: from the Ten Credit, the "net know" is disturbed; through the Three Sages, was hindered by the "sensory perception"; to the Holy Cross, despite all the obstacles, but still have the "common sense" has not been used.
This paragraph is about Buddhahood, having completely entered Vien Giac awareness, seeing all dharmas as one being, should say: "Obstacles means saving glass, mindfulness and wrong mindfulness are liberation and defilement sarnsara means Bodhi, Nirvana, wisdom, ignorance are all Bat Nha, etc.
Therefore, Ancient Germany taught that: "The time of Chon is like a delusion, of the time of delusion, the thought of Chon."
8. SUMMARY
- Hey Thien nam! The Bodhisattvas and sentient beings, only in all their time, do not initiate the concept of discrimination, with regard to the mind-consciousness which will not be eradicated, in the delusion scene, without further distinction, in the unknown scene. know, no need to distinguish truth, when listening to this method, not to be surprised and terrified, to generate confidence, clear understanding, to receive and to serve, then we call this being depending upon nature Giac Vien.
- Hey Thien nam! You must know. The sentient beings like that, have been many religious life, each planted a lot of merit: "Offering the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as much as the sand of the Ganges River. We seal for these people will achieve the "first world position" (Buddha position).
THE SOLUTION
This passage the Buddha taught essentially has a saying: "Only in all the time, without committing thoughts, etc. ... it is up to Vien Giac". That is: if in all the time that hope does not arise, then greed, hatred and delusion are not born; 3 poisonous no birth then no career will create, no career will no longer create birth and death; Samsara has not self-arisen mind, such as depending upon nature Vien Giac. For example, a glass of cloudy water on the table, if in all the hours are quiet, not wavering, then the nature of water appears.
This passage is like in the Shurangama Sutra taught by the Buddha: "It is not possible to discriminate" (not according to the ceiling of the beginning of the thought of discrimination). What a quick practice (the member), if not many lifetimes, who have cultivated wholesome roots from many Buddha's lives, cannot receive this dharma.
In summary, the Buddha taught: If the Bodhisattvas and sentient beings of the next generation, only in all times do not initiate recitation, nor do they need to eradicate mindful thoughts, etc. they have grown deeply from many Buddhas, and they have attained the Nature of Enlightenment, will attain Buddhahood.
Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue asked the monastic class of Tathagata to come, Buddha answered here is done.
9. BUDDHIST SAYING THE SHRIMP REVIEW
Then Germany World Religion, want to summarize the above, should say that:
Thanh Tinh Hue! Must know:
Perfection of Bodhi nature,
No more defenses and evidence,
No Bodhisattvas, beings.
Cupping and not yet aware,
The class is different:
Beings are "aware" of fear (Ten Credits)
Bodhisattva is "feeling" afraid (Tam Hien)
The Holy Sanctuary is quiet (The Holy Cross),
Because he doesn't stay in the champions,
Fullness of results, Enlightenment,
Should call "all depending upon" (Buddha).
The next beings,
The mind is not born of hope,
I say this being,
Now life is a Bodhisattva,
Because making offerings to the Buddhas,
Merit has been fulfilled.
Although there are many means,
Also depending upon Giac.
THE SOLUTION
General idea of this verse Buddha teaches: Tanh Vien Giac has no prime and proof, no Bodhisattva and sentient beings. But about the class of austerities, there are divisions of Believers, Sage, Saints, and Buddhas. If any sentient being does not expect delusion, is the Bodhisattva present, because this sentient being has cultivated merit from the Buddhas.
Although the dharma practice is many and there is a different class of the dharma, there are also differences on the nature of Vien Giac.
In this chapter of Pure Land Hue, Mr. Thanh Tinh Hue asked the Buddha how to practice enlightenment? Buddha answered there are two parts:
1. Standing on the nature of Vien Giac said, there is no Bodhisattva and sentient beings, no defense and no witness.
2. Regarding the general practice, there is a different class. As for believers, the "know" (fake) is afraid; If you stay back to your home, you will be hindered by the "feeling"; on the Holy Father passed away but not yet fulfilled.
In summary, the Buddha taught a sentence "If people for all time, do not start hoping, then depending upon nature Vien Giac".
