Here, there are ten people, that is, ten Bodhisattvas [of fifty-three good knowledge]. Although they say that they are monks, but in fact, they are all Bodhisattvas, ie Dharma Bodies. These ten "sign the Decade" , the Signature ( 寄) here is "deposit" (send). If we use the example to say, they are like performing on stage, they play the role of the Cross. It is very difficult to say [exactly] what their land is, there are those who are ancient Buddhists; Here, we completely look at the appearance of their face, ie [looking at] the appearance they have shown;will be like in the Sutra Sutra said: "The charm of love". Here's an explanation for us to know what the Cross is?
(Jesus) The importer entered the Precepts, the pillar of No precepts, attained the Unpredictable, deliberately enlightened.

(It is : It means that just entering the world, the place of wisdom in emptiness, attaining the Immortal, should be called the Head).
First of all, [great master Thanh Luong] taught us the meaning of the word "Head in the Cross". In China, almost every sect has acknowledged that Hoa Nghiem is Mahayana Teacher, and also calls this sutra "the basis of the Dharma" , [the implication] of all the sutras which are all belongings of Hoa Nghiem. . Like a tree, Hua Nghiem is the root, the root; all other sutras are branches of that tree, which are saved from this sutra. Because of this, it is possible to know the important nature of Hoa Nghiem. Here, Master Thanh Luong tells us the meaning of the Head: "Only enter the World" , It is the beginning, "No gender" Not ten worlds. Ten dharma precepts are not No, continental is not No, ten dharmas are not. In other words, they have just started to leave the ten dharmas, "No World" is the Most Precious Truth.
"Non-emptiness" : Bodhisattva attains this position, wisdom opens, this is true wisdom. True wisdom, Prajna wisdom in self-nature, like the Vajrayana Sutra has taught: "The mind is pure and pure. It is true that General Bat Nha shows money, surpassing the ten dharmas, that is the "No-Tanh pillar" . Entering that world will permanently not withdraw, no longer retreating to the ten precepts, unless he is present. [That vision] is called "price reversal from the row" (release of the Magnetic raft), or "redeeming the future" , those are so many. If it is not because he himself re-vows again, he will absolutely not be due to karma to pull him back; There is no morality! So called "Abstinence" . This term of the Three Immortals in Mahayana and Hinayana is all there, but the realm in it is very different or shallow. Here is the ultimate realm, so it is called Head. The following paragraphs record:

( Say : The meaning of the Head has many things, because it means "fullness" so it is said to be "Cross").
The meaning of the Great word is very much, the Buddha wants to say it, it cannot be said. Therefore, for us, people with very shallow qualifications, deep karma, only the method of introducing the most simple and crucial points! Inductive with lots of meaning, inductive into ten things, because the Cross also means fullness. The number from one to ten is the number of consummation, so in Hoa Nghiem, everywhere, using the Cross to symbolize the fullness, but the Cross is not completely the number. This is something we need to understand clearly.Due to the meaning of "fullness", say ten things. Each of the articles speaks ten things, in the scriptures of Huayen, using the Cross to express the dharma.

This is an explanation for the phrase "enter the world without the precepts". In Bodhicitta, it often refers to "The Body - Uses", divided into three faculties. Bodhisattva's body is Direct, Bodhisattva Code has said this in the Initiation of Belief. If based on Quan Kinh, ie the Buddha's Immeasurable Life, to say, the Buddha taught us: The bodhicitta is Chi Thanh Tam, which is sincere to the extreme. If we combine these two preaching ways to understand, we will easily understand the meaning of [Bodhicitta]. What is Mindfulness? Sincere to the extreme, there is no chance. We all feel that it is not easy to meet, generally because [self-assuming] our own mind is very sincere, I have been sincere to the extreme. Really,
Where is the standard? First of all, we do not talk about Buddha Dharma, but please comment according to the previous world law! It is said that the first-time monk born in the Tang Dynasty lived not far from us, he was a person who lived in the late Qing Dynasty. His descendants in Taiwan are also quite good; Sang Bao Sam is his next generation, which is a descendant. The National Assembly defines the word as follows: "A concept that does not give birth to a Citadel" , this explanation is very suitable to the Dharma. Because this is known: "When you start mindfulness, your mind is not sincere!" Six bases exposed the six ceiling realm, we often say: "No distinction, no attachment, no initiation, no commemoration , that mind will be a true heart. " It is the essence of Bodhicitta, which must be practiced in daily life. Practice so as not to start your mind, not to meditate, not to discriminate, without attachment, then it will be time to use your mind.If there is discrimination, attachment, initiation, mindfulness, you are using your mind. That mindfulness is the mindfulness, according to the Dharma General Duy Thuc, will be "you are using fifty one Mind of Eight Consciousness". Fifty-one mind facility of eight consciousness is compounded vi, Kim Cang teaches: "It is necessary to possess the dharma, as the dream of the illusory image" (All compounded things, such as dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows), these things are not true.Therefore, since the Priest of Bodhisattva immediately used the heart of the mind, so there was the same mind with Buddha, the Buddha used his heart and feet, at that time, the Bodhisattva also used the mind.
"Mindfulness of the mind increases" : Bodhicitta begins to act, ie, the mind and body arises. It has two effects: One is Self-Life, the other is Tha Shou.
1) Tu Tho Dung is the concept of mindfulness towards the Upper Bodhi, there is no second idea; that is to say to yourself. In the Mahayana Sutra, there is often a saying about this "recitation of the word" as follows: "The Beauty of the Lady of the Sea" (Entering the Sea of Most Precious). Among you, there are also those who often read the sutras and have seen this sentence. Face Slapping (Sarvaj ña) is Sanskrit, translated into Chinese meaning is necessarily Political.Necessity of Politics has the same meaning with A Nau Da La Tam Mieu Tam Bo. Because this may know: From now on, for himself, he does not have any other concept besides the desire to fully satisfy the fruit of Buddha, he only has one idea. It can be said that for all the worldly dignitaries or the world, he has all fallen down, no distinction, no attachment, he has no delusion, let go. This is called "true heart".
2) Tho Tho is great compassion. The great compassion is the rediscovered prayer, in the ten precepts. What kind of help they need, they can help, like thirty-two candidates of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. If they are sympathetic, He immediately arrives, touches the path! Should use the Buddha's body to attain it, he immediately embodies Buddha to give you a sermon. Should use Bodhisattva body to be able to do it, He will embody the Bodhisattva to teach you. He embodied immeasurable immeasurable, thirty-two proverbs said in the Prussian Gate is thirty-two types, ie thirty-two great types, each of which has infinite immeasurable [types]. This is great compassion, in the Quan Kinh called [compassionate mind] as "radial prayer". He really does that, here called "rising mindfulness." Because, the Head of Bodhisattva just entered the world, focused more on self-sufficiency, not that he did not turn others, just natural self-confidence. So called the Head, enter the Zero world like that!

Because the mind does not discriminate, does not accept, so the mind is as big as nothingness. The mind was like that, the general was the same. So take the nowhere, the whole world, can depend on the type of embodiment, it is an inconceivable realm. Therefore, the subject of this sutta, we always shorten the subject of this sutra, but if we say it fully, it will be the Great Way of the Buddha and the Strictly Entering the Disclaimer of Liberation.. This is a complete headline, complete headings. The title is too long so we shorten it. Therefore, [the realms mentioned in this sutra] are inconceivable realms. Honestly, where do we learn Buddha to start learning from? A lot of steps to get started, but the following step is also important, ie, expanding your mind. How to expand your mind? For everyone, all, all things, keep in mind: "Don't discriminate, don't accept, don't start your mind, don't think", your mind will naturally expand . Whenever there is a distinction, attachment, the mind will be very small, turning into ordinary qualities.This is very urgent.

Here Master Thanh Luong brings the scriptures divided into six sections, from here on, each time attending the school in fifty-three times of attendance are divided into six such large passages. These six passages were divided by Him, but also because the previous people had this idea, so He did not include merit; Here He brought the idea of ancient virtue to tell it all. Therefore, he divided the text into six passages.

Good knowledge that Thien Tai came to attend, definitely praised Thien Tai, then taught, brought the dharma learned by himself to teach Thien Tai. Such texts belong to the third paragraph.

The Dharma of Buddha is boundless. You see that each one of his good knowledge is very humble: "In the multitude of disciplines, I only know this one method, not as other good intellectuals, they know much, are higher than me. ! ”Humbly humbled, praise others. "C'mon" ( 推) is a highlight, [ "stop winning" is] promoting others better than me, others are better than me. There is no one who says that we are great, others are inferior! No! To find such a position in fifty-three times to find and to study, no one is humble. For this place we must pay attention, must pay attention to understanding; If you meet a good intellectual who recognizes [himself] very beautifully: "Other people lose to me, I am good at true knowledge!" Certainly he is false, certainly not good knowledge really. Why? Do not correspond to the dharma!

This text is very short, very profound. "Luyến Đức" is an appreciation, appreciation for the teaching of good knowledge and achievements of Dinh - Hue for yourself, that is "attachment to virtue".What does "word ceremony" mean? It doesn't mean "I ask to leave Him, I go there and ask." When you understand that, you are foolish, you study foolish Buddha! You didn't learn anything! The true meaning of the "ceremony" is as follows: "Feast" is a respect of worship; "From" what? I didn't study this practice! I know this method, I understand it, but I still honestly recite Buddha's name! From beginning to end Thien Tai was honestly reciting Buddha's name, a Buddha Amitabha thought to the utmost. However, every method he understands, every method is in contact, every method is asked, everything is understood, but still like a silence! So far, I have not changed my mind, I want to learn this, I want to learn that, I don't have it! "Luyến Đức ceremony from" means that, has this meaning!
If you don't go and ask, you have a little understanding, your wisdom is not full, your concentration is not visible. After you come into contact, you will know as if you are immovable, clear and new, and will be able to display Dinh - Hue with your own honesty. I still honestly recite Buddha's name, until I come to the final good knowledge of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, ten great vows to lead to the Bliss. Therefore, Thien Tai pupil became a Buddha in a lifetime, how to become Buddha? Recite Amitabha Buddha and become Buddha! So what does fifty-three attendance mean? Fifty-three times to attend classes to teach you about daily activities before being reborn. Therefore, we collectively call these "modern living art". You are not reborn, you are still in this world, you still have this body, you still have to wear clothes, eat rice, you still have to deal with all, every day six scenes of contact The six-ceilinged world, that's fifty-three times attendance. Although contact, worldly dharma, worldly dharma, any dharma can be contacted, but in the mind there is a mastery (ie, the mind is always intentional), in the mind like silence, the realm of the outside world turn to quibble, an Amitabha Buddha concept comes to the end. This is called "fellow Thien Thien".
You understand this morality in order to truly attain the United States. It is not to tell you to come here to hear this preacher preach, tomorrow to the other Zen master, the day after I go to listen to that monk. When you go to places where you learn to scratch, you are not a fellow student. Therefore, this sutra is very intentional, it teaches us how to live, how to teach us how to be, how to be in this life, in this complex society that is worldly Dinh's achievements - Hue's great greatness! Sometimes there may be more than one thing or more than one paragraph, which may be less than one paragraph, but the case is very rare. The vast majority of texts are full of these six great passages.Therefore, if there is a special case like that, then it will be explained again.

There are also other mages who divide this passage into many small passages; But to be honest, it was absolutely unnecessary. This way of dividing into six sections is very clear and easy to understand. Therefore, great teacher Thanh Luong introduced here before lecturing the sutras.We understand that each paragraph, [every narrative text] once Thien Tai comes to the interview, has these six passages, showing that He is very tidy, very in order and clear, no disorder, edema in accordance with the moral spirit. Precepts are rules, this segment is regulated, in the right order.
In the previous section, after the Manjushri Bodhisattva introduced Bhikkhu-stilts Cat Tuong Van with Thien Tai pupil, instructed Thien Tai to go there to study. At the end of that passage, Master Ching Liang raised a question to solve doubt. That passage is also very important. He set up a question and answer: Manjushri Bodhisattva is the most noble position in the Bodhisattva line, let alone the Manjushri as "lost Buddha chi", ie the teacher of the seven Buddhas. Among His students, there were seven people who became Buddhas, how could his wisdom be problematic! Why did he not teach his fellow students to be good at assimilating fellow students? Going to another place to study, enduring such hardship for what? It is better to teach myself! Thien Tai is really capable, ready to receive; Why does Manjushri Bodhisattva teach him not, and ask to go on a tour? Do you have such a question? You see teaching in worldly and worldly teachings, telling us that when you first learn, you must study according to the teachings of one person, penetrating a subject! Thien Tai attends the conference of the Manjushri, which is [studying according to] a teacher's teachings, receiving the teachings of a teacher, attaining the basic principles of Tri [3].! If you say so, if you want to be a Buddha or a Patriarch yourself, you can really do it. However, if you want to turn all beings, must follow this lesson taught, after "entering the Head" (witnesses in the Ten Pillars), the active space must be taken to nothing, the whole world, rather than just this one place. Because of that, learning more and more listening is inevitable; so tell you to visit places.
Therefore, Master Thanh Luong answered this question to us. There are ten meanings in the answer:
1. First meaning: Indicate the general (general status):
In order to set an example for the posterity. Indeed, Manjushri Bodhisattva has the ability to teach Thien Tai, why tell him to go to school? In order to model, model, perform for the post-study see: Students ask to learn not lazy, brave, diligent, not tired, bored. Perform a trick for the next person to watch! Therefore, you must find a teacher to ask for guidance. Commenting on the teacher, for the true student who came to study, he certainly did not regret it. I myself know how much, I really slipped all my bags out. Therefore, [Bao Thien Tai goes to study] is an example for those who are students, but also an example for those who are good at knowledge or who are teachers. That is the first meaning of telling Thien Tai to go to school and use this idea!
2. The second meaning is to show the happiness of the enemy and win:
"Hanh" is spiritual practice. Good knowledge of righteous practice and practice, true revenge, which also means that they are truly pure.During the time of World Religion, in the Sangha, there was a group of Luc Bhikkhu [4] who were thick, disruptive, disobedient. The Buddha told them to turn to the East, they turned to the West; tell them to do good, they do evil. Throughout the day from morning to night, doing cross-talk, like "creating counter" in the Sangha. In fact, these people are Buddhas or Bodhisattvas who appear, they are really pure; even the lay people are performers, this is true. We don't know it!
For example, Quan Am Tho Quan Quan Buddha, everyone reads it.A Xa The King killed his father and harmed his mother, both Buddhas and Bodhisattvas performed, performed for us, performed! Doing evil deeds, Five Adversaries, Ten Evil are all draining. Later, the king met Ky Ba; Ky Ba is the great assistant of the king. States Ba to counsel: "From the ancient to the present, heard that the king for the throne that killed his father, but did not hear no king bad mother!" He said: "If Pharaoh harm the mother, Pharaoh being a great leader, we don't follow your majesty! ” Therefore, King A Xa The followed his advice; after that, Ky Ba led the king to meet Sakyamuni Buddha, repent, correct the error. Later, King studied Buddha, all performances are done! Each person is honest and reflective. We must understand this, but they are not really evil. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas adaptation in this world, how can we know our eyes and eyes? They did not tell you: "I am the Bodhisattva who improvised". It is impossible to tell you! Those who say it are fake, not true! If it is true, absolutely not telling others.Previously there was also a taste when the body was revealed, so immediately, he could not remain in this world anymore! The identity revealed but still does not exist, still rely on it, it is definitely a fake, there is no morality!
"Take refuge in the Noble Noble Truth " (Hide the real identity to turn the King of Dieu Trang Nghiem), this is a story in the Dharma Flower, which is a story in the story of Dieu Trang Nghiem Deity, which is also a story. Buddha and Bodhisattva appear. Do not see what they do is evil, they pretend, aiming for us to watch. Do you see people doing evil, later in the beginning, looking forward to it, it is a teaching idea, very profound, what teaches us? We are ordinary people, not the future Buddha and Bodhisattva. The Buddha and the Bodhisattva manifest as such, we do evil, even though doing evil is still saved. You see they do evil, they finally learn Buddha is still saved, so we are also saved. Point out a bright path for evildoers! Don't do evil, don't be afraid! As long as you can turn your head, turn your head to shore!
Especially the Pure Land method, you have to do evil in your whole life, to finally meet the good friend who advises you, recite Buddha's name ten times to decide to be reborn. What else do you have to say? In the past, when I first learned the Buddha, there were people talking about the fullness of wisdom, the great divine power of the Buddha, and we posed a hypothetical question: "If that person does not do evil, immediately must fall into hell A Bhikkhu, is the Buddha capable of making him immediately into a Buddha? If the Buddha does not have that power, [then say] 'the great Buddha of all things' is fake, that is praise, it is not true! "Now we understand that it is true, the Buddha is really have that capacity, the problem is whether the opponent will accept it or not? The opponent does not receive, even though he has the capacity, the Buddha has no way. The problem is that you must receive it. Currently, we read Amitabha Sutra understands well, lifelong doing evil deeds, the death is advised by good friends, immediately received, due to an instant Buddha's name being reborn, knowing wisdom, the virtue of Buddha is truly fullness. Therefore, this is also to warn us: For those who do evil in the world, do not despise them, do not disregard them! There are also many people at death who meet a good friend and go to the West to become a Buddha, and we still continue to reincarnate in six roads, far from them! Do not disregard them! Therefore, in the sutras, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas perform this technique in order for the evildoers to see, not to teach you to do evil, and the forest to turn. If you understand that, it won't be reborn! That you have completely prayed for, wrong! You must understand this meaning.
3. The third thing is to break down first:
For teachers, do not accept attachments too much, do not rely too much. Ỷ to a teacher, over reliance, that means you have made a distinction, have attachments, are wrong! So what do you teach you? We must be humble, we must be empty. To the places of study, everyone is a good friend, everyone can achieve Hue for you. Break the distinction, break it first! Bring your teacher respect to treat everyone. Therefore, this idea is very nice.
4. The fourth thing, except arrogance:
If you are in the middle of all the masses, there are men, women, old, young, gentle, stupid people, all of whom are very wise, and also very foolish. You don't see people being foolish. Very stupid people also have advantages, there are also places where you can't be. Break apart stereotypes arrogance of you, using a pure mind, equanimity, the mind is not ashamed to ask [those inferior himself], so to be able to perform the "feast of the Buddhas" Prussian Hien Bodhisattva, himself is really full [the "glass ceremony of the Buddhas" of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva].
5. The fifth meaning is to eradicate the attachment to heaven and not:
Because of the most radical people, after entering the World, he felt that there was nothing worth looking forward to, no need to pray anymore! Here, the Bodhisattva appears, in the unbridled, we still have to pray. This meaning is very deep! Because, you accept No, [that is] a bias on one side. Accepted on Yes, is also deviated to the side. In "no need to pray " (there is nothing to look forward to), we still have to cultivate good deeds, still need to be diligent! Neither No and Yes both stand, displaying the First Noble Truth. This is not an empty saying, in everyday life, it is the same! The First Noble Truth is in daily life, not separate from life!
6. The sixth meaning is performance that shows us that all things are spiritual practice, spiritual practice is right at the:
Wearing clothes, eating rice is a practice, you work every day as a practitioner, nothing is not austerity! What virtue? The Cross, the Vow.Dressed as Thap Do, Thap Nguyen, eating rice is also Thap Do, Thap Nguyen. You must understand this place. Therefore, the great teacher said: "It is better to listen less and still be able to enter. It is not about hearing much but not doing, not witnessing. That is about spiritual practice. To be precise, one subject is enough. Heard a lot, but you can't do so much, you can't prove it, it's still useless!
7. The seventh meaning is to break [prejudice] sermon:
The teacher of the sermon often prejudices "I am a teacher, you are my pupil". For worldly things, this is not wrong, but in your mind you have that idea, that is, you have discrimination, attachments! Therefore, to tell people to go to other places to study, the distinctions and attachments will no longer exist.
8. The eighth meaning is to display the practice in that place, perform for everyone to see:
Practicing worldly or worldly dharma is in order, divided by type to learn, should not learn to dance class, keep progressing. Each of the good intellectuals will introduce you to the next good knowledge, meaning to remind you to gradually raise your own realm to progress, not stay here. Here, you won't be able to improve! Therefore, "attachment to the ceremony" , introducing the next knowledge of good will be used as such.
9. The ninth meaning is to display the Buddha Dharma extensively:
You serve, respectfully throughout all knowledge, taking part in all learning, there is no way to complete all the conditions, [this] shows that Dharma is both deep and wide. Genuine friendliness is humble in itself, praising others for being superior to oneself. If it is ordinary, when wisdom does not show money, how to recognize it?
10. In the last thing, great teacher Thanh Luong preached: Show clearly that Thien Tai and goodness have a bond
This meaning is similar to what is often mentioned by the ancient Chinese monks, ie: "The righteous monk" (the teacher and the teacher).He helped the students, and the teacher also helped each other to help each other achieve.
Thien Tai has the capacity and aspirations to study and lead to the development of teaching knowledge. Good knowledge has wisdom, has the ability to teach, to help the pupils and the Witnesses to enter;therefore, the two sides influence each other, Nang and So [5] as one.That is what we often say: "Future school" (Teaching makes both sides grow). You want to achieve wisdom, you must have the enthusiasm to teach others. You teach others to achieve wisdom. Normally lecturing is like that, through a lecture, in that hour and a half, if no one asks, the lecture is done as if it is over, it seems very full. If anyone raised questions, [the new preacher recognizes] it is true that [his own preaching] has not been fulfilled. In it, there are still questions, unrecognizable! [The audience] asked that question, [those problems] came out; When not asking, don't think about it. When asked, immediately think; then when analyzing, wisdom immediately made money. That is helping each other achieve!
Therefore, after you have understood, [will know] Good Fortune and goodness is one and not two, just as in the Sutra of Sutra said: "One is all, all is one" . Thien Tai noted, according to this favorable order, reached the end of the forty-one position. Without Thien Tai, there is no good. Without goodness, there is no Thien Tai! In other words, there is no game, how can there be a teacher? Without a teacher, there is no game! Certain teacher-student relations must be newly established mutual learning and teaching; On one side, neither side is available!Therefore, the ten meanings above are not intended to clarify the relationship between teachers and students, clarifying the teaching model. We must understand this profound meaning. Why does Manjushri Bodhisattva teach? Meaning that way!

I told her, I said, "I understand, I know, but the charm is not yet mature!" Who studied with me? I could not find anyone to say like this: "You come to study with me!" You see that these fifty-three good knowledge are all due to the introduction of [students] to other students, no one has found [students] himself! Buddha did not enroll; when do you read the Tripitaka, the Buddha recited? Not only is the Buddha's house not recruited, but ancient Chinese teachers are also not recruited. Where is the student learning from? Learn foreign words! In Chinese culture, there is no student. You recruit students, advertise them, they are big and they have many great college subjects, great virtues or not? Even Sakyamuni Buddha, Confucius old man, did not dare to recruit students, do you even have a good liver? Because I understand this morality, I also hope to do so [that is, as Mr. Hoang has suggested], but the conditions are not mature, no one comes to study. When I go around, I come everywhere to make a relationship with people. Because all my charm is not mature, if in one place, where is this place? Duyen is not yet ripe, so go everywhere for the grace. Waiting for the charm to ripen, I said, "I definitely can!"
Unexpectedly at the beginning of last year, the group of Mr. Ly Moc Nguyen in Singapore held a training refresher course, inviting me to teach. Invite me to teach, it is okay, not because I recruited. He went to find students, invited me to teach, so it was okay. After being stable, there are now a few fellow practitioners helping me, taking audio tapes and video tapes of the things I preached in the past, adjusting them to writing; but after the adjustment was completed, I had to review it once, there were many unsatisfactory places, I had to fix it, I had to add more.If that's the case, then the new ones will be published to be able to circulate. Therefore, at the age of old, I specialized in doing this work, but that work was also the aspiration of Quan Truong. The first two things in Quan Truong's aspirations are due to this meaning. She wished me to preach the Sutra Sutra, the Sutra of Sutra to be preached. Before she recited, Khai Tam, a magician, was in Taiwan male [asked]. In general, Khai Tam invited me not less than ten times, he asked me to teach Hoa Nghiem. This is a great sutra, predestined. Elder Khai Tam was also very polite, he said: "If the magician does not preach, fear that no one will preach afterwards!" very sincere. I said, "The grace is ripe, I am bound to preach this sutra once, others do not preach."
Therefore, from this time on, I use the following method: Consider each chapter as a unit. Later, in overseas or in the country, any locals who asked me to teach sutras, I preached some units; After that, it will become a complete Hoa Nghiem business. It is only possible to finish this method. If not, according to my preaching in the present to preach this sutra, every day an hour and a half of preaching, every day preaching without interruption, can also take a break, every day a week off, [every week] six times, how long does it take to finish? I calculated at least seven years. Preaching every day, every week teaching six days, not leaving halfway down, having to preach seven years to complete.Kinh really big! In the past, Master Thanh Luong preached this sutra, He also preached once a year, teaching him eight hours a day; therefore, can be completed in a year. Currently, we lecture every hour and a half, if six days want to take a day off, at least seven years must be completed.Therefore, this is a very difficult thing, very rare, I hope to complete this work. In the past, we have preached many times, in the Mahayana scriptures, from the signifying meaning to say: Clouds signify a General, but cannot. This person we all understand very clearly. Currently, you meet the plane, fly up to the clouds, there is no obstacle. From the bottom up, the clouds form a very thick layer, but flying there, there are no obstacles at all! The body (non-natural), which represents a General, works (Us), but cannot. Clouds denote this meaning! Thus, Cat Tuong Van mentioned here is also to denote this meaning. Định, Phước, Bi and Trí are also "Generals, Emperors", so they use Cloud for example.
So it is clear that this position is the Dharma Body of the Doctor, He has surpassed the ten precepts, witnessed the First Leg of the Dharma Realm, breaking an ignorance, a partial Dharma Body. Why still call Him bhikkhu? Bhikkhu-stilts are monks; Here, use the word "Bhikkhu-stilts" to indicate that He is a monk . Which house are you out of?House of ten precepts. Therefore, usually we talk about "home", people often say: You leave the house "parents, wife, children, upland fields, houses". Incorrect! That is the form, not to mention! Some people say: "Six director is home". You leave the new continent as a renunciation, it is renunciation in Hinayana. Being ordained in the Mahayana is "escaping from the ten precepts". Thus, [renunciation] here is to escape the ten precepts; just got out of ten dharmas, though being Dharma Bodhisattva, still called him "Bhikkhu-stilts" . Use [the word "Bhikkhu-stilts"] in this sense, not that He is truly a monk.
"Signing the mind of the mind" : Phat Tam Tru is the Head, ie the Bodhisattva. "Play" is a devotion, which means Bodhicitta. Because this can be known: It is true that the Bodhicitta is transmitted, if the Bodhicitta is transmitted, it will belong to this position. We often say daily: "Distribute bodhicitta! Distributing bodhicitta ”. It is shouting, useless! Once you actually give Bodhicitta, you immediately escape from the three worlds. In the Sutra of Longevity, it is also important to develop Bodhicitta. You see "The Three Sides Of Sorrow" , in each of the Seven Sectors, the Buddha teaches us: "To develop Bodhicitta, a mindfulness of mindfulness" . If you do not release bodhicitta, you will not be able to escape the Six-Way Path, you cannot escape the Three Realms! Therefore, it must be "given the Bodhicitta, the monastic mind". to reborn the Pure Land. Because, the Western world is also the First Foot of the Dharma Realm, so it is impossible to reach Bodhicitta.Because this understands the importance of spreading bodhicitta. In forty-eight vows, the eighteenth vow is "ten thoughts that must be reborn" , the nineteenth vow is "to give Bodhicitta". Therefore, these two prayers are very important!
If discussing the pattern for the development of Bodhicitta, the Mahayana Sutra is the model for newcomers. So called Dai Thua Khoi Tin. Is "start" just starting? The arguments and methods preached in the Great Mahayana Commentary if you can do it all, you are the Mind of Bodhisattva. Saying to you again, the arguments and methods are taught in the Vajrayana sutra if you can do it all, it is also the level of Mindfulness of Bodhisattva. In all people, all, all things, you will really do "not accepting the general, as if immobile." "Not accepting the general" is that the outside is all let down, not attached to any chance.In self-centeredness, "as if motionless", knowing all the dharma is dreaming, illusory, foam, shadow, like dew, just like lightning. It is you who understand and understand the truth of all the dharmas. What position? The Mind of Bodhisattva is there!
There are also fellow practitioners who like the Shurangama Sutra, and some people ask me to teach the Shurangama Sutra. Currently, I do not lecture Surangama, but in the past I have lectured many times.Twenty-five chapters Vien Thong in Lang Nghiem is the performance of twenty-five Bodhisattvas, they are Phat Tam Tru. So in the Shurangama Sutra, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara is also the Mind of the Head, ie the Head of Bodhisattva; The Great Bodhisattva World is also the Bodhisattva Headquarter. The Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara has three suttas: In the Hoa Nghiem Sutra, He is the First Recitation of the Bodhisattva; in the Prussian Gate of the Dharma Flower, He is the Bodhisattva Sense; in the Surangama Assembly, He is the Bodhisattva Prayer. So is the position of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva [in each sutra] different, elaborately austerities have shallow or different depths. That's what we have to know. Therefore, He is a step "Send yourself to the Mind of the Head".
Next is the explanation, how is Phat Tam Tru? "The Buddha's Power of the Cross" : Here, we lessen, not needing to elaborate on the ten kinds of Buddha's forces. When lecturing carefully, it will take a long time. In the past, I preached [Cross Power] many times. If you don't understand it, look in the Dictionary of Buddhist Studies and the book of the Dharma of the Dharma. In the Earth of Tathagata, there are ten things that the power of vengeance and Bodhisattva are not equal to; Nhi Thua, that is completely absent. Bodhisattva also has ten forces, the name is like ten forces of Tathagata, but the realm, elaborately equal to Buddha.So, say: "The Buddha's power, the heart of the Buddha". This is the vow to aspire to be a Buddha, like Zen Tong and Luc Dai Dai, who told in Kinh Kinh. He participated the ceremony to Hoang Mai Mountain Team Five, Fifth Patriarch asked him: "He went to do?" He said, "I come to the Buddha". He wants to come to be Buddha, that direction is great!You see people coming here, you ask: "What do you come here to do?" "I came to spend my ears, I came to do some merit." They came to do those things. We have never heard of anyone wanting to be a Buddha!Never heard of! You have no idea, how can you be a Buddha? The direction is important! Therefore, the Sixth Patriarch can achieve, opening his mouth is different from others, He wants to be Buddha! "Children play bad news" (He initiated the desire to pray), emitting that mind, He really had that mind, really had that practice.
"Run the great compassion, lowering the consciousness" : He can really upstream and downstream. You see in that time, although Luc To was still not in his hair, he was still a layman, his age was very young.When the Five Patriarch passed the medicine to him, he was only twenty-four years old. People pray to Him, He clarifies clearly to people, does not miss a bit of dharma! Therefore, we closely observe His practice, mindfulness will see these things in accordance with what is taught in the sutra.
"Bi Tri relative direction" (Bi and Tri guide each other), Bi intrigue wisdom, wisdom widens great compassion. "The corresponding mindfulness" : The mind is necessarily the Mind, is the wisdom at the Tathagata, is the wisdom corresponding to the Prajñā available in self-nature. That wisdom usually shows money, just like the Six Patriarch said. He said to the Five Patriarchs: "In the mind of the disciple often gives wisdom." Such wise birth is the "Compassionate and Relative Path," respectively. That position is the Heart and Mind, which is the form of Sister Phat Tam, which is good. You must understand: In the mind often gives birth to wisdom, that is, there is no birth or suffering.What is this mind of us all day from morning to night? Hope, discrimination, attachment, no wisdom! If you are all day from morning to evening hoping, discrimination, attachments are not all, your mind will often be born with wisdom, will be corresponding.
If we understand this morality, the truth of the truth will gradually understand some parts. The problem is, do we really want to do it? Why can't you do it? You are too serious about the predestined relationship (the conditions in the realm of life), you don't know all the worldly or worldly things are dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows, you don't know!If you understand that: Saying "all dharmas are dreams, illusions, bubbles, shadows, like dew, just like lightning" is to say the time is short, temporary. If you see the truth of that truth, can't it be abandoned?Nature will drop down, let go of what? Let go of all thoughts, discrimination, attachments; After that, you will be born with wisdom, you will escape the hexagon, escape the ten dharmas. After you have escaped, your operating space will be taken away by nowhere, the whole world. Must actively learn! You let go a part, get yourself part; let go of two parts, be in two parts. You will not let go, it is called karma. If speaking harder, the truth is poor. Poor!
You have money, you have money, but you can't let it go. I have money to keep in the bank, not let go, what do I create? How many miserable people in the world lack money, you do not give alms, you do not create pity, who creates poverty? So you create pity. People often don't understand this, assuming there is no sin. In the future, after death, come to the king of Yancheng to investigate, each one shows you; At that time, do you regret not being able to keep up anymore! Therefore, everything must be discharged, and discharge can be achieved. You see, Cat Tuong Van knows how to discharge, what does He gain? He obtained the Mind and Mind, he achieved this. He achieved, He went beyond ten dharmas, He achieved it. Therefore, after discharge, certain gains are achieved. Give up a lot, get a lot, can't think! The Buddha cleansed all births; Therefore, He achieved consummation! Bodhisattva Equality still has a Venerable General of ignorance[6] could not be removed yet, so he still did not achieve fullness like Buddha. If you remove a piece of Birthlessness, He will be full, He will achieve perfection. Therefore, remember to "discharge well".
Almost after I saw it, I engraved this seal. I engraved in Singapore, engraved the word "good". then zoom in; they brought it in, put it outside [lecture hall] to give [to everyone]. You take it home and watch it, watch it often, have to discharge! Every discharge, will be achieved.If you do not discharge, it will be broken! If you do not discharge the reincarnation, the reincarnation will not work. Therefore, to let go, take those things away, concentrate on reciting Amitabha Buddha, you will attain the Western Great Bliss of the world. What do you want in this place to do? To tell the truth, for me the whole world, I don't want to be hungry either! Inviting me to go to the realm of Dai Pham as a king, I did not do either. I know that place is a trick, a trap; decided to go to the world of Bliss, to the world of Great Bliss to achieve. Compared to fifty-three times of attendance, the more enemies win, there is no way to compare! [Mr. Thanh Luong] introduced the Center of the Mind [like that]. Therefore, the witness of the Three Immortals is the Pure Land.Birth of the Pure Land, even if it is Lowering the rebirth in the Holy Land, is born in the world of the Western Great Bliss, all the three things of Uncertainty. Do this know that: Buddha Dharma claiming to be internal, "internal" is directed to self-nature to seek, not to ask you to pray outside the mind. In the Mahayana Sutra, the Buddha called "out of mind" as an infidel. Therefore, the word "pagan" is not contempt for others, nor is it scolding people. Paganism is a dharma outside the mind, which is called a pagan; has a distinct meaning from internal school.From the beginning of the universe, all are looking for the mind in the mind, absolutely not seeking the place where the realm cannot be!Contacting the realm will come from the realm but turn around, the bridge where nature is. From here on, [the scriptures] teach us about the method of public use. "If no one preached the Dharma, even if there is a mind, there is no understanding. " You misunderstood the meaning, followed your own thoughts to reflect the scriptures, completely wrong!

This is very important, we are not ordinary people. We have President not having a Projection, Can Toi, without President, very few people can get "President - Concurrent Projection ". What is President?President is pure mind. It is clear to understand all the realms. Presiding at the same time, President, who usually shows and shows but often President. The realm of the Bodhisattva ranks in Vien Giao from the Upper Earth and upwards is the continent of them exposed to the six-ceilinged realm, but the President of the Simultaneously. They clearly see clearly, but in the mind like silence; like a real estate is President, clearly clear is Projection. This is called "Presiding over the seat" (balancing President and Projection). President is Dinh, Chieu is Hue, Dinh - Hue at the same time, it is the mind of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

Here, "despise me" is an example. "Ly" is to leave all thoughts, discrimination, attachments, then your mind will be safe, you will be immobile. Anyway, the President can show money. "Despise" (Light hair) is the example of all the worldly laws and the creation of the world that is not worthy of entanglement, not worthy of attachment, not worthy of attachment, let go all! If you let go, your mind will be safe, you will be able to witness the realm of "peace and tranquility". At that time, the true heart will show money. Great Master Thanh Luong clarified to us the meaning hidden in this passage. It is the mind that lies beyond words, this is a difficult place in Dharma, especially the Mahayana Sutra. "Most literary" is a word, each word, each of which uses these four methods to explain. Our ordinary people often have only one type of head, the " customary minister , " the following types are not available ."General minister targets" is based on the letter to understand meaning.This way is easy to say, very shallow, saying so, everyone is easy to understand, no problem! The four principles of interpretation of this text are very vividly used, not as tight and narrow as possible. Must see the interesting meaning of the text, there are very deep texts, having a profound meaning, not every sentence has deep meaning. Therefore, in that letter, there is Guest and Owner. The meaning section is contained in the very deep Owner section, the Client part is extra, more shallow.Therefore, using these principles must be taken and removed.

In this section contains many very deep meanings, so must use the Church to distinguish, choose. In the Church there are Ly, Hanh, and Fruit. The minister of the Buddha has four types: the Church, the Ly, the Happiness, the Fruit Church is language, writing. In language, literary language has moral reference, there is reasoning, except reasoning, there is a method of spiritual practice. Following that method to practice, will be able to raise your own realm, will bear fruit. Therefore, use that method to articulate the meanings contained in that passage.

The word "abusive" here is a lot of talk. [If scriptures] are very meaningful, too broad, then use the third method, that is, use the way to assemble the Tathagata and calculus. Like the Sutra Sutra has many of the most similar passages, each word, each sentence has not only one meaning, but also contains many meanings, then the third principle must be applied. The fourth meaning is:
(Good) Self-abuse mind.

( Say : There seems to be an opinion that surpasses the teacher).
This is the fourth meaning. We cannot follow the fourth principle.Why? If we learn to follow the disease, we will preach the sutras! To be honest, today we preach the sutras that can only be used in the first two ways, it is considered quite a lot, you are already a good guy! For the following two things, if you have not yet entered the realm, it will certainly not be possible. Especially the last thing, the last thing is like the "way of promoting the discourse" that we often say now. "Promoting discourse" what? As my own opinion, my own unique interpretation. Is your interpretation of the Buddha's knowledge or is it your own opinion?If the Buddha's mind is correct, that's okay! You preach sutras will not preach. If it is your own opinion, you have already lectured the sutra already, be responsible for the cause and effect!
"Self-centered mind" is the mind [with interpretations, thoughts] beyond [his stated things], this is only the Bodhisattva great can do! For example, in the Great Wisdom of the Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, he promoted many things, what he promoted was true Buddha's mind, not wrong! In the Tripadvisor of the Geography of the Bodhisattva Maitreya, there are many things that are promoted. He is Maitreya Bodhisattva Equal Bodhisattva, what he said is really Buddha's mind; So His commentary is called Comment. If it is not such a position, promoting the discourse must be very attentive, only afraid of contrary to the meaning of the scriptures, contrary to the Buddha's mind, must bear the responsibility of cause and effect too big!

If you achieve this fourth meaning, you have already enlightened your mind. Therefore, your interpretation is very close to the interpretation of Buddha, very similarly, what you say will be Hoa Nghiem's nature, what you say will be Hoa Nghiem's nature, like Sakyamuni. Buddha preached Hoa Nghiem no two, no different.Therefore, "will not count other people's treasures" half. However, this is definitely the right nature to be able to do it. Long Life is the Bodhisattva Geography, in the sutra, the Buddha used to sign for him.Maitreya Bodhisattva is Equal Bodhisattva, of course there is no problem! We must pay special attention to this. This verse is meant to tell us: For this sutra, it should be noted that all of the things mentioned in this sutra are meant to teach the Dharma, in order to display supreme dharma. In texts, there are indeed many [places like that], we have to pay attention. If we do not pay attention, we will not gain benefits, merit, you will be more and more away from the path of liberation. If you understand it, you can enter it, surely this sutra will give you the dharma of fullness.

(Kinh) Too disappointed, the Bhikkhu-pretentious Bhikkhu on the mountain, from the business.

[Zeng Fa] is to choose the method, to choose a method that is appropriate to one's own identity, appropriate to one's own level, suitable to one's own circumstances. You choose such a method to study, it will feel very easy.If you choose a method that does not fit your own level, hindering your own life, you will study very hard, not easily. Therefore, the first thing is Zemin.
2) The second thing is to be diligent. After choosing, you enter a subject. "Pure" is pure and not pure, "Tan" is moving forward and backward.
3) The third thing is Hy Giac Chi, which is the fullness of happiness.You study happily, do not feel "I study the Buddha too much!" "Suffering too much" means you learn wrong! People who study Buddha are bound to study very happily, thus being righteous, excelling!
4) The fourth thing is Khinh An. Where does Khinh An look from?Looking from your spirit and fitness, you definitely feel this good. This is like what people now call "physical transformation." If you study Buddha elaborately, your will will change, your body will also change.The prime minister, predicting the number of networks, understands the "general moves with the mind". His mind is pure, every day more and more pure, negativity is mild, negativity is less. Much affliction, he proved heavy, clumsy, everything felt very heavy, clumsy, seemed to be under heavy pressure, felt heavy. The body is like that, acting very clumsy, heavy! If you elaborately exert effort, in your mind there is less affliction. Less afflictions are less anxious, less thought, the mind is also pure. At that time, the mind is pure, the body is gentle, the walking is light and different, it is really different. Therefore, Khinh An speaks in the current way as "physical transformation", changing the appearance.Tolerance is a general that moves with the mind, becoming more and more pure, more and more compassionate.
5) The fifth and the sixth thing are elaborate. The fifth thing is Mindfulness, the sixth thing is Dinh. This is about elaboration.
The seventh refers to the Execution. The Onion is dropped. It can be said that the Bodhisattva from the Sisters of Mind until the position of Tathagata has nothing else, must be let down, must be abandoned!
This is That Giac Chi, here I just said the idea.
"Ly Giac Giac" , did you cultivate Seven Enlightenment? He cultivated; Although cultivating, he did not accept his attachment to the monk. We call it "cultivation without cultivating, cultivating and cultivating". "Cultivation" is not about not cultivating anything, he really cultivates. Although cultivating, but not accepting generals; So say: Cultivation and cultivation at the same time, not before - after, no difference, they are at the same time full. This is called "leaving the general state of the Enlightenment through seven days." The word "over seven days" to express this meaning!
(Good) The office is based, the only method is.
( Sparse ) forgetting where to live , for the purpose.
(It is said : Forget the position that has already been achieved, then it will be achieved only).
He is currently the Head of Bodhisattva, if he himself feels that "now that I have obtained the Head of Bodhisattva", do you think that he has attained the Sutra? Not yet proven, is still a lady! Why is divine?Because he still distinguishes, there are still attachments. Having attained that status, I also forgot that attainment always means that those distinctions and attachments are no longer available. Saying that he is the Bodhisattva Prayer is said by others, but he does not say that he is the Bodhisattva's Head. In the future, he will enter the Bodhisattva Geography, and he will not feel himself as a Bodhisattva. As a Buddha, he did not feel himself as a Buddha. If he feels "himself has become a Buddha", saying to you, he is no different from us, still having delusions, distinctions, attachments! Therefore, from here on, delusion, discrimination, attachments are completely left, unlike those in the ten precepts. In the ten precepts, there are still distinctions.

His mind is really pure, so it is called "attainment". "Just" here is self-virtue, [true heart of purity], then this is money. Whenever there is a slight distinction, attachments are automatically hindered, cannot show money! The Mahayana Bodhisattva practices nothing else, just cultivating this. Then we read this sutra, feeling very ashamed. We see identity, hearing, six bases exposed to the six ceiling realms, still distinguishing, attachments. Not only is discrimination, attachment, but also serious, is there any new day that can be achieved? We must warn this. In other words, although we have not yet reached the Bodhisattva realm, at least it must be something that cannot be distinguished, do not discriminate any more, what can not be attached, then do not accept it anymore. What can not be distinguished, not attached? Story of others!Stories of others that we also distinguish, attachment, do you not complain unjustly? Discrimination, attachment to one's own stories are forgiving, but people's stories do not come into contact with me, but we also distinguish, attachments, too big mistakes! First of all, learn not to worry about the abundance of things, that is, the stories of people who are not involved in them, learn from this place. Gradually, it will make our mind pure, peaceful, and the decision will be useful, a good place for our spiritual practice. Practice what? Bhikkhu-stilts Cat Tuong Van practice what? From scriptures, we can't see, we don't see it. When the teacher gives a lecture, we understand. Don't tell me that he told me to cultivate for ninety days I wouldn't believe it, even though I told him to cultivate for seven days, I still didn't believe it. Why? I have done it, but I have found that you have not changed anything, still a hope of a whole bunch of people, still a market, a person who is not like that!Although in ninety days do you really cultivate as the dharma, but when you cultivate without achievement, what is the point of doing it on your achievement board? After this practice, the true cultivation of human beings will change, different! Therefore, We understand how to say seven days of ancient virtue if we look at the nature of our beings in this era, it really is impossible! We are so karma, there is no such spirit, no physical strength!
It can be said that seven days we can shorten it to one day; One day for twenty-four hours is still not simple! If in twenty-four hours can do so, it is very difficult to have! To be honest, fear that it is not yet done! It is true that in ten thousand people, one or two people are hard to get!You can do it in twenty-four hours; for twenty-four hours to walk, recite Buddha's name, in Buddha's mind, there is no contemplation, no skepticism, no interference, no interruption. Twenty-four hours, not easy! That is the true practice of Ban Chau tam-muoi. Such people have no problem, they are Bodhisattva's mindfulness, regardless of what they are doing, they are not tired, so they can do it. Do this know that: When can we cultivate Ban Chau tam-mui as the Buddha taught? Waiting until we witness the Bodhisattva's Bodhisattva, then you recite the Buddha's name will be Ban Chau tam-mui, recite Buddha's name, not the normal recitation of Buddha's name!

You need tea, he or she prepares for you; What you need to eat, he also prepares for you. What do you want to eat, when you are hungry, do not call other people: "Go to eat rice!" Amitabha Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, in which intermingled "go eat rice!" Is not good at all! So, if you feel you have to eat, eat yourself, don't bother with others. If something needs to go out, you can go out and recite it, without needing to screech others. You are in the Buddha's Mindfulness, the mind of eternal purity, elaborating on Buddha's mind is really powerful. In the past, I used to think of this method, currently like the ashram Dallas in U.S.A. This time, I went to Australia, wanted to bring that method to them, because they were there there were not many people, applying the method of reciting Buddha's mind would be possible. The desire to recite Buddha's name is in order. Although it is not yet Ban Chau Tam-mu, it's very close to Ban Chau Tam-muoi, very close! We humans are now heavy karma, but still possible!
