Death - A Process ...VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.

Each individual artistic act, every expression of creativity from the fields of music, art, poetry, ... to the fields of science promotion comes from the mysterious foundation of a source inspired by an intermediary capacity to translate, communicate and eventually manifest into creative arts or scientific inventions. In this regard, it seems that we are experiencing a process that corresponds to three stages of the process of death.
What makes some poetry, music, architectural or scientific inventions become great, immortal or have an endless meaning? What explains the problem of the energy that they radiate that can lead our hearts into a state of contemplation of bliss or about a dimension in which our nature and reality are manifested? It can be said that outstanding people who do literary and artistic work, outstanding scientists ... are the incarnations or improvised phenomena of the rebirth of the bardo of enlightened souls to some extent that the enlightenment of that enlightened mind is applied to benefit and inspire mankind through various kinds of artistic literature or scientific fields.

Death - A Universal Process In The Infinite Immeasurable Transcendence

Eternity

The unique nature, the power of the Bardo doctrine, is that by indicating the process of death, it also reminds us of the whole process of life. First of all, let us observe the three main stages of death:
- At the height of the process of death, when the four elements, feelings and thoughts have ceased to function, the ultimate nature of mind - the basic light - is revealed in a moment. This is the complete cessation of mental-physical activity that leads to the display of the mind's capacity.
- Then, just for a moment, the self-shining ray of the mind will manifest in the form of sound, color and light (the spectral or shining nature of often confiscated).
- Next, the dead person awakens and enters a state known as rebirth, returning to the mind of love, wearing a form called "being born of birth", subject to the control of the past and the habit of the past. - crystallization and expression of the body of birth.
* The correspondence of the three-body teachings with three stages of the process of death
The three stages of the dead process correspond to the three levels of existence of the enlightened mind or the three bodies of the three-body Buddhist teachings:
- Absolute nature, displayed in the form of basic light or spiritual light at the time of death is called Dharmakaya. That is the direction of "vacuum" or "truth of the raw truth"; in it, every illusion, ignorance or any concept has never penetrated.
- The beam of intrinsic energy and light is naturally displayed in the dharma bardo called the Sambhogakaya. It is the dimension of total bliss, the scope of "happy and happy dharma" beyond all dualistic, non-temporal limits.
- The range of condensation into the shape is displayed in the reborn bardo, called the Candidate (Nirmanakaya). It is the dimension of constant transformation.
* The correspondence of 3 phases in dream sleep with 3 stages of death process.
Three stages of the dead process can also be seen in the three phases of a normal dream sleep:
- When we sleep, the senses and the raw floor of the mind disintegrate, and gradually the absolute nature of the mind, it can be said that the basic light is revealed for a moment.
- Next, another dimension of consciousness appears, comparable to the dharma of bardo. It is so subtle that when it is present, we are often completely unaware of it. That is the stage before going into the dream.
- Then, when the mind becomes active again, we find ourselves in a dream world similar to the realms of the Middle Kingdom reborn. Similarly "intimate birth" in the "Middle-born rebirth" period, in the dreaming process, we have a dream - which is largely influenced by our habits and activities at waking - and all people dreaming believes that I am living real life, never realizing I am dreaming.
* The correspondence of 3 stages of death process with 3 steps of thought and emotion.
The Bardo doctrine also clearly shows the correspondence of the three stages in the process of death with the evolution of the current consciousness at the moment we are living - all thoughts, emotions or all classes of psychological experience:
- The basic light, the absolute nature of the mind, is the ultimate state of awareness which is always present before any thoughts or emotions arise.
- In the state before every thought or emotion arises, a fundamental power moves like a natural ray of sensibility in the bardo of tanh, starting up as a foundation, ability and fuel for all thoughts and emotions arise and operate.
- Similar to the crystallization and expression of the "birth of birth" in the bardo of rebirth, the basic capacity now embraces the shape of thoughts and emotions, and ultimately pushes us into action to accumulate. career.
This process can be more specific if we practice Vipassana meditation.
- When practicing Vipassana until all the thoughts and emotions sequentially disappear and dissolve into the mind, we can catch a glimpse of awareness (or Buddha nature) in a moment - the face with the state of the ultimate , the mind "glows" or "clear silence".
- Then the word in the quiet tranquil state of self-mindedness, a vivid fundamental energy revolves: it is the ray of self-awareness.
- If there is attachment attached to the arising of this energy, the capacity automatically converts into ideas, and this idea brings us back to the mind and concept activities.
* The correspondence of 3 stages of the process of death with the knowledge of the absolute person according to other spiritual traditions.
- Christianity: in terms of the nature and activity of God as the activity of God 3 persons: Father, son and god; in which, Christ embodies the foundation of the Father through the secret mediation of the divine, which may also help us relate to the true nature of the problem of the three-person God: the Lord Ki can be considered similar to the manifestation of the rebirth of the bardo, the divine being can be likened to the nature of the bardo, and the foundations of both 2 and 3 are regarded as the fundamental light, the text Absolute essence of mind.
- Hinduism: According to Hinduism (Hinduism), God is a manifestation at the same time three energies: being, mind and bliss. It is clear that we can see strange similarities with the three bodies: the Dharmakaya as the "mind" of God. The proclamation is like the blissful power of God (Ananda) and the Reconciliation of the body as the manifestations of God. The three characteristics and powers of God are symbolized by the great images of the three faces of "God of Love" in Angkor or the 3-sided statue of Shiva in the Elephant Cave in India. The 3-sided or 3-headed images are the three-sided symbol of absolute resemblance to the three-body teachings in Buddhism and also include the ideas of omnipotence, omniscience, omniscient, omniscient, omnipresent , greatness and sacred thought impossible.
The light of truth in the middle of the process of creating and expressing art.
What makes some poetry, music, architecture or scientific invention work great, immortal or have an endless meaning? What explains the problem of the energy that they radiate that can lead our hearts into a state of contemplation of bliss or about a dimension in which our nature and reality are manifested? It can be said that outstanding people who do literary and artistic work, outstanding scientists ... are the incarnations or improvised phenomena of the rebirth of the bardo of enlightened souls to some extent that the power of that enlightened mind is applied to benefit and inspire mankind through various types of artistic and scientific literature.
Although the outstanding scientists or great artists are not really enlightened beings - this is proved through the real life of science - but it can be said, the nature and nature of heaven artistic talent also has the same ultimate inspiration that comes from "the focus of an absolute truth" - Dharmakaya or basic light. When listening to the great concerts of Beethoven or Mozart, it seems like our soul flies into another realm. Some people watch the medieval cathedral of Europe such as Chartres cathedral, Islamic Isfahan cathedral, Emperor Thien Chich's temple, Ellora cave of Hinduism ... without questioning the great power of these genius builders whose roots derive from "pure mind power" - the foundation of the source of all artifacts? A great work of art as well as a moon shining in the night sky; it illuminates the world, but that light is not its own, but borrowed from the sun, the "absolute" is hidden. The noble and genuine purpose of art is to give people a sense of their true nature, their status in the universe, to make them see the value, meaning and possibilities boundless of life. Therefore, the true meaning of art masterpiece is the endless power of bliss like the Sambhogakāya or the dharma of bardo. It is the blissful endless power that Rilke calls "the faculties of joy", the light that conveys the purity and the boundless meaning of "absoluteness - Buddha nature"
When observing every aspect of life in the infinite flow of impermanence, we find that we have, are and will go through continuously and revolving the three stages of the process of death in the states of sleep, when dreaming, when awake with the operation of ideas and emotions. So what is the ultimate salvation of accepting the universal nature of the process of dying three stages in the flow of birth and death? Acknowledgment shows that it is the nature, shape and originality of this process that can give us countless opportunities for liberation - while living as well as when we die - or countless possibilities for we continue to deluded, rolling in the cycle of birth and death; because every aspect of the whole process simultaneously gives us the opportunity to liberate or to meditate.
The universal nature of the 3-stage death process opens us up to a door to escape the endless cycle of death and human regeneration. What is essential is that during the Middle Ages (3 bardo forms) of our life and death, every time we can recognize and maintain a persistent sense of sense or self-interest, or when we can control our mind somewhat, we can go through that door to reach liberation. In summary, what the universal nature of the 3-stage process of dying teaches is that what happens in our mind now in our life is exactly the same as what will happen in the Middle Ages after death. , because the essential nature of life and death is not different. Life and death are one, a non-dual principle in the "uninterrupted whole" of the infinite, infinite flow.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.30/5/2019.
