The Life Of His Long Life.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.

Long Life(Nagarjuna,  Klu-grub ), along with Vo Before (Asanga,  Thogs-med ), are the two great practitioners of Mahayana tradition. Mr. Long Life gave a profound missionary training on the emptiness of the lineage from the Manjushri Master, while the emperor Heli gave the teaching of the profound bodhisattva practice of the lineage from Duc Di. Bad.
Long Life was born into a Brahmin family, perhaps around the middle of the 1st century or the beginning of the 2nd century AD, in South India, in Vidarbha, a kingdom now in two states Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Some sutras have prophesied about him, such as  the Old Tomb  ( Lan-kar gshegs-pa'i mdo , Sanskrit  Lankavatara Sutra). When he was born, a fortuneteller predicted that he would only live for seven days, but if his parents offered a hundred monks, he would live until he was seven years old. Because of his son's life, at the age of seven, his parents sent him to the Nalanda Monastic University in northern India, where he met the great master Saraha. Mr. Saraha said that if Long Life renounced the world and recited the mantra of Amitabha Buddha, he would live long. Long Tho followed the advice, then joined the Monastery, receiving the name "Shrimanta".
In Norway, Long Life studied Tantra and Sutra with Ratnamati, an incarnation of Manjushri, and with great master Saraha, especially the Guhyasamaja Tantric practice   ( dPal gsang-ba '). dus-pa'i rgyud ). In addition, he studied alchemy (alchemy) with a Brahmin and knew how to turn iron into gold. Thanks to this ability, he was able to feed the monks and nuns in famine. Finally, he became the abbot of Norway. There, he chased eight thousand monks who did not preserve the proper precepts. He also defeated five hundred pagans in debates.
Two young men were incarnations of the sons of King Thien Long (naga king), who came to Norway. Their bodies emitted a natural smell of sandalwood. Long Tho inquired about the situation and they confessed their status. He asked for the smell of sandalwood for a Tara statue and asked the Heavenly spirits to help him build temples. They returned to Thien Long realm and consulted his father. King Thien Long said that he could help Mr. Long Tho, on condition that he would come to the palace to teach them. Long Tho agreed, carrying many offerings and teaching the Heavenly Dragon.
Long Life knows the Long  Heavenly Sutra  ( Shes-rab-kyi-rol-tu phyin-pa stong-pa brgya-pa , Sanskrit  Shatasahasrika-prajnaparamita Sutra ) and asked for a duty When the Buddha preached the Prajñā Ba la (Three-secret Wisdom), the Thien Long brought this one to the palace to preserve it, Chu Thien took another and the Da Da Tai Loc kept an obligation. other. Long Tho offered a hundred thousand verses, although Thien Long retained the last two chapters to believe, so that Long Tho had to return to teaching them more. After that, the last two chapters have been added, along with the last two chapters of  the Prajna Paramita Sutra  ( Shes-rab-kyi-rol-tu phyin-pa brgyad stong-pa).,  Sanskrit Ashtasahasrika-prajnaparamita Sutra )   This is why the last two chapters of the two approvals are the same. Long Tho also brought the clay of Thien Long realm to build many temples and stupas.
Once, when he was preaching Prajna Ba la, the six Heavenly Dragons came and formed an umbrella to shade him. Because of this, the typical image of Long Life has six Heavenly Dragons on his head. From this event, he was named  Naga ( Thien Long ). Because of his ability to lecture the Fa directly into the focus, like the arrow of the famous archer Arjuna (a hero's name in the Hindu sutras, the  Bhagavad Gita ), he is named  Arjuna . Therefore, he was called "Nagarjuna".
Later, Long Tho traveled to North Island (North Continent) to lecture. On the way, he met the children playing on the street. He predicted that one of these children, named Jetaka, would become a king. When he returned from the North Island, the boy grew up and became King of a great kingdom in South India. Long Shou stayed with the king for three years, taught him and lived his last years elsewhere in his kingdom, at Shri Parvata, the sacred mountain overlooking the city of Nagarjunakonda today. Long Life wrote  the Warranty of the Righteous King  ( Rin-chen 'phreng-ba , Sanskrit  Ratnavali ) to the king. This is also the king that Long Tho wrote a  Friendship Letter  to give (bShes-pa'i spring-yig , Sanskrit  Suhrllekha ), that is KingUdayibhadra ( bDe-spyod bzang-po ).
Some Western scholars have confirmed that King Udayibhadra is King Gautamiputra Shatakarni (reign from 106 - 130 AD) of the Shatavahana dynasty (230 BC - 199 AD), in the state of Andhra Pradesh today. Some scholars confirmed he was the next king, King Vashishtiputra Pulumayi (130 - 158 AD). It was difficult to identify him correctly. Those of Shatavahana reign as sponsors for at Amaravati stupa, where Buddha taught  Tantra Kalachakra  ( The Kalachakra Tantra ) for the first time, and a place near Shri Parvata.
King Udayibhadra has a son, Kumara Shaktiman, who wants to become a king. His mother said that he could not be king until Long Life passed away, because Long Life and the King had the same life. His mother told him to ask for the title of Long Life, and because he was very compassionate, he would certainly agree. Long Life truly agreed, but Kumara couldn't cut his head with a sword. Long Tho said in a previous life, he killed an ant while cutting grass. Because of this karma, only the Kusha leaves cut off his head. Kumara followed his words and Long Life passed away. The blood from the head left his body becomes milk and his head says, "Now, I will come to the West of the Bliss (Sukhavati Pure Land), but I will enter this body again." The head goes far away from the body, but people say each year, his head and body get closer together. When they merge together, Mr. Long Tho will come back and teach again. In total, he lived for six hundred years.END=NAM MO SAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.26/2/2019.
