Learn to be self-controlled - Heavy winds don't turn the Mountain
One day, the Buddha was on his way to destiny when he passed a village, suddenly a group of people came to him and said very disrespectful even very dirty words.
The Buddha just listened silently, after they finished speaking, he calmly said: "Thank you for coming to find me, but I have work to go now, the villagers on the side are still waiting for me, I have to go there. is already. When I finish tomorrow, I will have enough time, then if you still have something to say to me, will we meet again? ”.
After listening to the group, they could not believe their ears. They all simultaneously marveled: "What happened to this person?" One of them asked the Buddha: "Didn't you hear us? We said he was not doing anything, and yet he did not react at all? "
The Buddha said, "If you want me to respond, it is too late, you have to go back ten years before you see me respond. But for the past ten years I have not been controlled by others, I am no longer a slave, I am my own master. I just rely on what I need to do, not follow other people's reactions. ”
Right! Just doing what you need to do, if someone is angry or insulting you, it is just his problem. Because what he wants to say, what he wants to do is his cultivating morality, what can you do?
In everyday life, you will inevitably encounter unpleasant things or receive difficult words. Your response to contradictions is your inner mirror reflection.
There are people with mind like the top of the wall, whenever the wind blows to the west, it leans west, the wind blows in the east, then immediately falls east, always being dominated by the external environment but cannot master them. When faced with contradictions or humiliation, they cannot stay calm and immediately fight with the opponent, the opponent's actions determine their reaction, they unintentionally become slaves others.
But being able to stay still in front of the environment and own yourself is a long, unnatural process of cultivation. If you have a sense of training yourself, learn to be patient, always think positively and be kind to others, then one day you will definitely do it.
Then your mind is no longer a blade of grass - the wind has just blown quickly, but your mind will be as steady as that mountain - no matter the wind!END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.21/3/2021.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
