The Dharma Flower: Light of humanity and peace.
Like the sun shining in the East, the spiritual power of the message "The Lotus Magic, the Bodhisattva Dharma, the Buddha's Protection of Mindfulness" continues to save us, helping us to overcome obstacles. fear of suffering and suffering in small human condition.

In the opinion of the Buddhists up to now, the ideology and philosophy of the Suttas have a particularly important place, especially in the face of human problems in our time. The roots of human suffering from internal suffering, poverty, disease to conflict, war, between individuals, families, communities, societies, nations and nations. national or global ... are fully enlightened in the light of the Buddha's wisdom of the Suttas . The sutras are not only very lenient answers to the problems of dividing the Buddhist sects in the ancient centuries, when the Suttas were popularized (around the first century Western calendar), but even the The biggest social problem belongs to our time in this century.
Reality shows that, war is still there, racism is still there, gender inequality is still there, extremism is still there, and the dream of a peaceful world. is still raised in earnest daily prayers. Therefore, on the occasion of the Vesak Buddhist Festival, calendar 2564 - 2019 and at the Buddhist Science Conference today, we would like to present some thoughts of the Sutras as a guiding light for the Buddha hands protect a peaceful-peaceful life for oneself and for others.

I. Human Philosophy in Lotus Branch
The first message in the title of the Dharma Flower Sutra includes 12 words: "Dharma Lotus, Dharma Bodhisattva, Buddha's protection" (Saddharma puṇḍarīka, bodhisattvāvavādam, sarva-buddha-parigraham).
First of all let me talk about the two words Magic (saddharma). Magic is the true Dharma, the ultimate truth. That ultimate true dharma is the Buddha Tri View (tathāgata-jñāna-darśna), which includes pure Buddha nature or pure mind. Buddha's vision is the eternal insight inherent in all sentient beings, regardless of age, sex, or race. The sutras emphasize that Buddhas are born only because of a great cause and condition, which is "Enlightenment beings to enter the Buddha's knowledge" (samādāpana / samdarśana / pratibodhana / avatārana); and that "All sentient beings can become Buddhas". However, each person has a different status, different happiness and suffering, different riches and poverty; Likewise, each country and country also has different karmic conditions ... it all depends on its karma, depending on the karma of the country and its homeland. And the karmic conditions of sentient beings are like a swamp, muddy, cloudy water. But it is also in that swamp, muddy and muddy that lotus flowers grow and bloom in the midst of nothingness.
Here, the mud, water, and lotus flower (blooming in nothingness) are examples of our spiritual journey. Mud, water, and nothingness are also the three phases, or rather, the three conditions required for a lotus to bloom for display. It can be said that, right in the four words of the Lotus Magic, the Buddha has given us a great spiritual path, unique in the history of human religion. And it is also an ultimate discipline and is classified as Teacher.
Indeed, as human beings, we cannot deny our karma according to our temporary will, we want to end our suffering, and want to be happy. The same goes for war and peace. Karma can only be transformed by one's own practice path through a process of purifying a defiled mind, such as filtering water from mud. So the Buddha taught that we cannot run away from suffering in search of happiness, but on the contrary, we can only transform suffering, arousing happiness from deep insight into the true cause of suffering. In other words, in order for a dream to become a reality, a dream of happiness or a dream of peace, it all has to start from the true reflection of life. That truth was mentioned by the Buddha through the doctrine of the ten Tathagata, which is the working principle of the dependent origination world over the entire human universe,
Although the human world is culturally different, geographically different, different in race ... but under the light of Buddha's uniformity, all can be in harmony with each other, overcoming all conditions. heterosexual cleavage.
Although the human world is culturally different, geographically different, different in race ... but under the light of Buddha's uniformity, all can be in harmony with each other, overcoming all conditions. heterosexual cleavage.
In the Dharma Flower Sutra, for example, "With the same death" (daridra-puruṣasya) states: As a man of the same fate, no matter how poor or poor, people still possess in the hands a priceless fortune. That invaluable inheritance is Buddhatva inherent in every human being. Thanks to Buddha nature, man has the ability to become a Buddha, to transcend all kinds of suffering in the three realms. Therefore, if there is no permanent presence of the Magic in each person or every being, then sentient beings know where to go in the midst of an endless journey. If the end of the spiritual journey of a religious practitioner is only to reach a realm of bliss and happiness it is superficial. In the Dharma Flower Sutra, the Buddha clearly teaches that the purpose of practice is to enter into the Buddha's knowledge (tathāgata-jñāna-darśna), to become a Buddha. And only the Buddha's Knowledge - the ultimate realm of enlightenment, is truly the ultimate salvation. From these golden teachings opened up to all sentient beings, especially for human beings a new path, the path of enlightenment, self-control, dynamism, and creativity. On this path, anyone can go by many different means through the cultivation methods of the Three Yantas (Tri-yāna) - Purification (Srāvaka), Dependent Origination (Pratyekabuddha), and Bodhisattva (Bodhisattvā). )).
Although the human world is culturally different, geographically different, different in race ... but under the light of Buddha's uniformity, all can be in harmony with each other, overcoming all conditions. Heterosexual cleavage. Clearly, with such a philosophy, the difference in color or race makes no sense in the Buddhist path. Here, the light of the Magic is truly radiant. This is a kind of light of human philosophy, hard to find in any philosophical system, old and present.
The story of the dragon girl (the female dragon) the son of the dragon king (sāgara nāgarāja-duhitā), who was only eight years old, was able to become a Buddha in the Dharma flower, Devadatta is a unique example of the potential to become a Buddha equally in all sentient beings, regardless of gender or type. Dragons, though pictured in myths, somewhat divine, are still considered a four-legged animal that inhabits the ocean floor. However, the meaning in the message of this story somehow still reminds us that, a female animal can also become a Buddha, let alone a woman. Such a thought that emerged more than 2,500 years ago in the middle of a classist Indian society was a great doctrine of equality.
Magic Lotus Flower is the four words Catholic Bodhisattva (bodhisattvāvavādam), ie France teaches the Bodhisattva row.

Back to the context of the real world. There are still bloody, tragic battles that arise from disagreements about religious beliefs, from differences in opinion to religious practice. In such a context, we can realize the sublime and great value of the Buddha's vast generosity with the philosophy of Magical Lotus. What a divine inspiration to the spiritual message that all sentient beings have the seed of Buddha, and that all sentient beings are capable of becoming Buddhas. That is equal insight, a kind of insight capable of freeing people from bondage to illusory beliefs. From there, extending life in harmonious relationship and overcoming all the separations set up by wrong views.
II. The Way to Protect Happiness and Peace
Next to the French Lotus is the four words Dharma Bodhisattva (bodhisattvāvavādam), ie France teaches the Bodhisattva row. Usually when they hear that, people often think that this is the dharma just for teaching the Bodhisattvas and they exclude themselves from the dharma or think that it is not suitable for them. The truth is not like that Because the Buddha was with immeasurable compassion, during the lecture of the Dharma Flower, his audience had all the heavenly dragons, including heaven, dragons, demons, and gods. And he also emphasized that, by many different means, he preached the dharma teachings to allow audiences of different high and low levels to enter Buddhism. However, the complete Dharma is ultimately only one Buddha (Buddhayāna). And in order to progress to the Buddha's way of life, his disciples must endeavor to practice Bodhisattva, ie using conduct (action) to cultivate the body, to benefit oneself and others. A Bodhisattva is a person who attempts to practice by taking care of the suffering of others. The real career of a Bodhisattva is always associated with the journey of saving and educating sentient beings. The Buddha, in the Dhamma Sutra, always emphasizes the spirit of salvation and he himself has signed for all the present audience and even the future audience after the Buddha's demise, who even just initiate a happy thought. with the Dharma Flower Sutra, that is, with one's own potential to become a Buddha and sentient beings, will also become Buddhism. Therefore, the spirit of Bodhisattva according to the Dharma Sutra is not to give up any sentient beings, even if they are evil and evil. The image of the Irrevocable Bodhisattva (sadāparibhūta) meeting anyone paying homage to their potential to become a Buddha is a sharp example of a Bodhisattva's willingness to sacrifice his life in order to do so. for the Buddha seed in all beings to arise. Because, giving people a spiritual-enlightened light is truly necessary and has eternal value; Of course it is not easy to do. But that is the journey of practice, using the practice of the body, accumulating merit, benefiting sentient beings.
The image of the Irrevocable Bodhisattva (sadāparibhūta) meeting anyone paying homage to their potential to become a Buddha is a sharp example of a Bodhisattva's willingness to sacrifice his life in order to do so. for the Buddha seed in all sentient beings to arise.

Moreover, the Buddha taught that not only the human world is everlastingly insecure, but all three realms (sensuality, moral precepts, and formlessness) are constantly insecure like a burning house . Therefore, beyond the fire house of the three realms is the true destination of Buddhists. Also from this teaching, obviously, in order to have a truly peaceful life for ourselves, we are not only concerned with the suffering of our neighbors, but also in the world next to us. Because that place also has its own kin, Bodhi's kin. In real life, it is supposed to be a happy lucky person, but how can we live peacefully when there is a world of insecurity, conflict, war, hatred? So how can we help those who are drowning in suffering and restlessness to re-ignite the source of happiness,
A very popular Zen meditation in Buddhism says, “If the mind is peaceful, the world is safe. Peace of mind, the world is peaceful ”. Indeed, individual human happiness has a great impact on family and society, but the suffering of each individual has no more, no less impact. That is why, the abiding in non-citizenship, protecting his own bliss, as compared to the Nirvana realm of the Qing Office, is not the destination of the Bodhisattva's will. Therefore, the Dharma Flower Sutra always emphasizes the transformation career as the way to build merit, dedicating all beings to the Supreme Bodhi (anuttara-samyak-saṁbodhi). Buddha himself is still on the path of transformation. Quality Tathagata quality, 16 said, Germany Shakyamuni, from the long past and up to now, he is continuing his path of transformation in this world as well as in other worlds; and that He has never ceased. In this sense, Buddha Shakyamuni enlightened us for the true meaning of peace and the authentic, possible path to peace.

III. The Buddhas always support mindfulness
The last four words in the 12-word encyclical "Magic Lotus, the Bodhisattva Dharma, the Buddha's protection" is the Buddha's protection. Sarva-buddha-parigraham means that they are protected and preserved by the Buddhas. Buddha Shakyamuni, in the entire Dharma Flower Sutra, he frequently emphasized that the Dharma Flower Sutra is the hidden treasure of the Buddhas of the three generations, past, present, and future; and that those who recite and recite the chant and say the record of the Dhamma Sutra, or just a happy recitation of the Lotus Sutra , are blessed by the Buddhas in three generations. This shows the importance of the fertility philosophy of the Suttas which inherits human values, equality, and the potential to become a Buddha in every human being, every living being. And this is also the basic philosophy for preserving and protecting human peace. Because, if we do not meet at the same point, all the different components cannot be merged. Reality shows that sentient beings everywhere dream of living happily and experiencing the ultimate truth of the human universe. And that truth, in the Dharma Flower Sutra, was presented specifically by the Buddha through the concept of Magic, synonymous with Buddhist monasticism (ekayāna / buddhayāna).
Within the limited framework of history, Shakyamuni, from the time of his birth to the manifestation of Nirvana, he has always proclaimed, enlightened, and clarified this philosophy of birth through many different ways, contracts with the qualifications of all living beings. Not only for the human world, but even for the gods in the heavenly realms, although they have more blessings than the human realms, He still teaches them to strive to cultivate and devote their mind to a perfect realm. the better, the more noble, that is the realm of enlightenment, also known as the Supreme Bodhi. In the view of the Buddha of wisdom, the karma of happiness or suffering is created from good or evil karma (Karma). Therefore, even the blissful and happy lives of the celestial beings in the heavenly realms cannot last for long; and there is also no guarantee that such a peaceful life will endure forever if it is not enlightened and guided by the bodhichitta enlightened light. That is why, before the manifestation of Nirvana, in the sermonThe Sutras of the United States , Shakyamuni, once again emphasize a Dharma that the Buddhas of the three generations always protect, protect and preserve. That is the Dharma of the Lotus Flower, or in other words, the light of the Most Vajrayana Buddhism.
On the spiritual level, the Buddhist monastic teachings were proclaimed by Shakyamuni throughout his life, which was taught equally to any object. Here there is no difference between one person or another. There are only different means of sympathy, and the content is just one. Because Buddhism is only one.

Here there is no difference between one person or another. There are only different means of sympathy, and the content is just one. Because Buddhism is only one.
Here, the Buddha emphasizes that all the Buddhas of the past, the Buddhas of the present, and the Buddhas of the future are all in support of this Dharma. That shows that, at any time and place, the Lotus Magic is still the ultimate truth. Specifically, how to enter the Buddha's View is the ultimate dharma. It is the ultimate dharma to make the seeds of the Buddha in each sentient being. The awakening of the potential to become a Buddha in every sentient being is the ultimate dharma. Making all sentient beings the Bodhi mind is the ultimate dharma. A vivid depiction of past Buddhas' protection of this ultimate Dharma is recorded in the Stupa Show of the Dharma Flower as follows:
His Holiness the Tathagata (Prabhūtaratna) passed away from countless hundreds of thousands of lifetimes, his whole body was adorned in the tower of Da Bao. When he heard the Buddha Shakyamuni lecture the Dharma flower in the Ta-Ba realm, his stūpa appeared to attest. Because of long-term conditions and conditions, Lord Da Bao Tathagata made a vow: "If I become a Buddha, then after passing away, any of the countries of the ten directions will have the sutra of Dharma flowers, because of listening to this sutra, the tower of I will appear to prove, to praise. " With this image, although it is explained through many profound philosophies, its key point still shines the benevolent spirit of the Buddhas to those who aspire to receive his Mahayana teachings of Buddhism. The support of the Buddhas in three generations is also the source of Buddhist spiritual strength, marked not in this life or the next. but that spiritual blessing is always present in a permanent, anytime, anywhere. Similar to the moonlight which is always constant in the sky although the underwater moonlight is sometimes hidden, sometimes present.
On the spiritual level, the Buddhist monastic teachings were proclaimed by Shakyamuni throughout his life, which was taught equally to any object. Here there is no difference between one person or another. There are only different means of sympathy, and the content is just one. Because Buddhism is only one. Truth also has only one. Therefore, a disciple of the Buddha or a Brahmin monk, if walking on the same path of Buddhism, the Bodhi attainment is still the same, no different. In this sense, the Magic is seen as a truth of equal insight. A thousand years ago or a thousand years later is still the same. Therefore, Buddhists always firmly believe that the Tathagatas in three generations always silently support and receive to those who bring hearts of aspiration for enlightenment - Supreme Bodhi.

In short, even though he is more than 2,600 years away from Shakyamuni, his old discourse on the top of Mount Linh Thuu (Gṛdhrakūṭa) in the past continues to illuminate our time.
