If someone wants anything, he will not be able to die. Death is always available from the end of the road, we keep going step by step to the end of the road. So one day is close to death a little bit. But if you don't worry about dying, it's wise or foolish to worry about things over losing?
Therefore, the home-practitioner always remembers himself as a Buddhist, striving to cultivate, eliminating defilements, not to contain substance, that is to give up immediately, without maintenance. That is a skillful practitioner. Staying in the temple is the same, ladies always have to practice, don't listen to disagree, get angry, and remember to practice. A cultivator is always compassionate and compassionate, and aversion and ignorance are not cultivators.
Thus, cultivation is the breath, meaning that forgetting a moment means seeing death, losing the status of a practitioner. The lay people as well as the ordination must always remember to practice, not to forget, just like the breath, if stopped, is dead, and remember that breathing is alive. That will quickly attain the religion. Is there a day we forget to breathe? No one dares to forget to breathe, but cultivate. That is a flaw, is a pity.
Suppose we are sitting in the house, suddenly someone calls out their name sounds a bit heavy, at that time remember we are cultivating or is out eating? If we lose, we forget we are cultivating. Practitioners listen to anyone who speaks hard, they also ignore it, nothing important. I am worried about solving the problem of birth and death, not free to worry more than losing. Than where to lose? If people say, I get angry, then find a way to return the anger with me or more, what is that? Only increased resentment!
So cultivation is neglected, nothing is important. The important thing is how to clean up our afflictions every day. If cultivating defilements, it is not yet a cultivator, whether it is home or ordained.
There are times when lay Buddhists think that we are a vegetarian, but whoever touches it is better than competing against all kinds of things, so it is not true practice. Cultivation is to fix all of its bad things. I can fix it, now I'm happy, wherever I go, I'm happy. If I don't make anyone angry, there's nothing to sad. If someone is angry because I have a gesture or something that makes them dissatisfied, I cannot suddenly bother, I should apologize: "Did I do or say something that bothered you, Sorry, forgive me for what I missed. "
Does anyone dare to apologize like that? Or is it just up to repentance to the Buddha and not dare to directly apologize to the sad person. That is weak, shy, dare to do not dare to bear, angry, people speak hard, when people don't bother to apologize.
If I do something that makes people sad, I have to apologize, in fact, that will be the end of the crime. And to repent to the Buddha for all sins, I fear that it will not end. Buddha cannot forgive people's anger. Yet everyone will repent to the Buddha, do not have the courage to apologize to the person they bothered. So are we smart or clumsy?
If someone is not angry or sad, the soul will be at ease. Such cultivation is extremely beneficial, myself is always peaceful and happy, nothing sad. If we are happy and happy right now, it is also good when we close our eyes. People who know how to practice, in this life, are already good and happy. Fun for myself and the joy of spreading to others.
Everyone knows that we will be old tomorrow and will die but today will not practice, how wise is that? A day passed is a waste of precious time. Understand that, today, when we are old and weak, we must also remember to practice, not to remember our relatives. Do not remember because they cannot save us, grandchildren cannot save the lady, only ourselves can save us.
Therefore, cultivating one day is precious to one day. The time is still very short, so we put all our efforts into cultivating. Regardless of the money, the house, as many as you close your eyes, will leave you with nothing.
