There are two thousand people who are friends and uneducated.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.
Of the four Holy results, the previous three are the righteous ones, the proof of the four Arahants is the uneducated one. In the Phap Hoa association, the students of the righteous and uneducated together are two thousand people. These two thousand people again signify "the cross as sight". Ten legal realms, from the realm of hell to the realm of the Buddha, each of these realms has enough of the legal realm of results and effects. They are: As visions (such as appearances), as visions, as visions, as vision, as vision, as visionaries, as visceral conditions, as results, as reports, as visas. ) save the glasses. Each like the market, turned into ten, the ten turned into a hundred, again turned into a thousand, that signifies uneducated learning two thousand people.
Bhikkhu Ni Ma Ha Ba Xa Ba De, together with his relatives six thousand people gathered. La Hau's mother Lala Bhikkhu Bhikkhu Ni Gia Du Da La, also gathered with her relatives.
Ma Ha is large. Ba Xa Ba Translation is "Ai Dao". This great Buddhist Monk, not only is the Buddha's aunt, but every Buddha is born, she acts as the Buddha's aunt, nurturing and taking care of the grown-ups. Dependent including body, friends. Great Ai Dao Bhikshu Ni with relatives of six thousand people, relatives and friends are in the Dharma Hoa assembly.
La Hau La's mother, Gia Du Da La, also ordained as a Buddha, became a disciple of the Buddha, became a Bhikkhu-nun. Bhikkhunis also have three meanings as Bhikshu is mendicant, father ghost, destroy evil. Bhikkhu Ni Gia Du Da La also with relatives in the Phap Hoa congregation.
The great Bodhisattva of eighty thousand people, all of whom are not rotten in the Noble Path of Righteousness, all attained Da La Ni in mockery of the theory of argument, turning the immovable wheel of dharma, having made offerings to countless hundreds of thousands of Buddha, in that the Buddhas cultivate the roots of merit. Often praised by the Buddhas, using words to cultivate the body, skillfully in the wisdom of the Buddha, to communicate great wisdom, to the other shore, is known throughout the infinite world, able to accommodate countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings.
Bodhisattva is Sanskrit, enough to say is Bodhisattva. Bodhi is sensory, Slapping Da is sentient. A sentiently enlightened Bodhisattva, that is, in sentimentality the Bodhisattva is an enlightened being. He used the ethical method of enlightenment, to enlighten other sentient beings. In addition, there are two other names that are great beings of the mind, or Khai Khai. The great Bodhisattva level has the full seven elements.
1. Sufficient basic basis: The base of the Bodhisattva is infinitely vast. He sowed the root of merit, from many generations to now, has planted the root of generosity and generosity, this root of merit called the root merit. The goodness he planted was infinitely many, so it was said that he planted the roots of merit. Moreover, it is not only the root of the Buddha, the two Buddhas, the three, the four, the five Buddhas, but it is just like in the Vajrayana Sutra that says: "In the immeasurable place of hundreds of thousands of Buddhas. , as much as the sands of the Ganges, have all been cultivated with good qualities. " In front of an infinite amount of hundreds of thousands of thousands of Buddha's memories, as much as the sand of the Ganges River, all have cultivated the benign roots.
2. Enough great wisdom: He generated great bodhicitta for all sentient beings, though all over all sentient beings, but did not accept the appearance of sentient beings, which is great wisdom. In the Vajrayana Sutta has said: "A species is born of an egg, by pregnancy, by moisture, by transformation, a species with color, no materiality, an idea, an utopia, an utopia, an utopia, we all make it The cessation of immeasurable Nirvana. Such cessation is so infinite of countless sentient beings, but really no sentient being can cease. " There is not a single sentient being who is a Buddha degree, but all sentient beings are so self-centered. Meaning: however the degree of sentient beings without accepting the general level of birth. It is not like we have done a good thing, we will say: "How many monastics have I got, how many people do I get from the Buddha's faith, or is someone from me,
3. Dafa news: Dafa means that of the Mahayana. You must deeply believe in the Mahayana practice of the true form, deeply believe in cause and effect, deeply believe in the wisdom of Bat Nha. Dharma is like the sea, only belief can be entered. If you lack faith, even though the Buddha Dharma is vast, it will not be possible to level you. In the Hoa Nghiem Sutras it says:
"Belief is the source of the mother of merit,
Raising all the good roots ."
Where does healing come from? From belief comes, from born belief, so believe is the mother of all merit. The Great Bodhisattva deeply believes in all of the great Dhamma, the sublime magic, especially for this Lotus Sutra, he especially believes deeply.
We have true great faith in the Buddhadharma, we are also the great Bodhisattva. In the Vajra Sutra, it is said: "Until in a thought that gives birth to pure faith, the merit of virtue is victorious over using seven treasures of alms three thousand great world." The merit of a pure belief is like using the seven treasures to give alms to all the world, but the Tathagata fully knows this mind of you, can not make it over. Therefore, we, who learn the Dharma, must bring true beliefs in order to obtain reciprocity.
4. Understand the agent: In the United Nghiem Kinh has said: Believe, understand, practice, evidence. Therefore, to understand the agent, you must check the trust, first of all to believe, then understand, then practice, eventually attaining it. What is an agent? That is transparent all sentient beings that are Buddha, that is also: "meaning Buddha" in "six ie Buddha". Technically speaking, every sentient being is a Buddha, but it takes practice to become a Buddha. If you do not practice and just say that you are Buddha, it will not help. If you self-proclaimed king, all day long and call yourself: I am the emperor! I am the emperor! But there is no literature and martial art to protect you, no people to govern, if not, you are just an empty emperor, what is the use? So, in a sense, all sentient beings are Buddha, but they must practice to return to their roots, realize their true face. Why must it be clear that sentient beings are Buddha? Since true wisdom does not leave sentient beings' minds, it is complete in every sentient nature, so must understand the agent.
5. Tu great almond: Dai Bodhisattva diligently tu the six hundredth of thousands of happiness: Almsgiving, precepts, patience, diligence, meditation, wisdom.
A. Almsgiving: Including gifted gifts, almsgiving, fearless alms.
a. Almsgiving, there are: internal talent (head, eyes, marrow, brain), and external talent (throne, wife and children). The Bodhisattva practice is without our generals, no human generals, so the Bodhisattva abandons everything and gives alms to everyone.
b. Alms dhamma, which is lucrative sermon, for Beings that preach the Dharma. So people who learn Buddhism must learn to lecture the sermons, to lecture everyone to hear. If you know a little, then say a little, if you know a lot, you will talk a lot, depending on your understanding, to explain to the listener, that is to give the dharma, to use the dharma to give alms to educate sentient beings.
c. Fearless generosity, that is, if someone encounters an unsatisfactory situation or an accident, in mind you are afraid of harm and anxiety, at that time you comfort them, causing them to eliminate all fear, anxiety, and anxiety. be okay.
B. Precepts: Precepts have: five precepts, eight precepts, ten precepts, ten precepts of forty-eight contempt, precepts of Bhikshu and Bhikshuni precepts.
C. Patience: Is the most useful method, if you can be patient, it is like collecting treasure. There is this story I have been told before: There is a monk, practicing patiently inscribed "My character is like ash", posing at the door. The meaning of that sentence is: the taste of that taste has no fire, never gets angry. This monk, diligently attacking, day and night, his spirituality is very peaceful.
At that time, a Bodhisattva came to test his virtue. The Bodhisattva came to his door and asked, "What are these words?" Answer: "Calculated as ash." After a while, the Bodhisattva asked again: "What was that about? Because I don't remember clearly." Answer: "Calculated as ash." Just like that, he asked a few times again, at last the monk got angry, shouting loudly: "As ash! As ash! Do you hear! Did you hear! Come on disturbing the practice. mine." Bodhisattva laughed and said: "It is still burning." After saying so, the body will not disappear Do you know who this Bodhisattva is? It was Guanyin Bodhisattva who came to test him, his results were counted as ash for several decades but still on fire. Before the Bodhisattva Guanyin said, "You should continue practicing, twenty years later I will come again." Therefore,
D. Effort: Including the body diligence and the mind diligence. The body diligence is: Lord Buddha, recite the Sutra, recite the Mantra, etc. The righteous use of the work is not just pretending to be the outer surface, but the truthful use of the work by yourself, don't be in front of the masses to create and pretend. Mind diligence is always diligently cultivating morality, concentration, wisdom, eliminating greed, hatred, and delusion.
E. Meditation: For taking meditation, it is necessary to be diligent to help, with diligence, then all to be patient; have the patience to cultivate merit, take meditation into concentration. If you do not diligently, one hot and ten cold, practice for one day, rest for ten days, you will not be able to obtain meditation forever.
F. Bat Nha: Bat Nha is the most important thing, a practitioner must have wisdom. Without wisdom, it is very difficult for a practitioner to practice. People who have wisdom will always use them at any time. Seeing everything they see is wisdom, therefore: "Thuy Hoang Hoa is immaculate in Bat Nha". Meaning: Green bamboo with yellow flowers is not Bat Nha wisdom. It was like I had a disciple who said to me: "Some brothers scold me when they talk to me. Scold who? Isn't that stupid! If you have wisdom then y scold you and you do not receive this scolding, then this scold returns to him! For example, someone face up and spit, the saliva returns to their face soon, or you can watch as that person, singing, or speaking a foreign language for me, is that big will turn small, small things are no more, that is true wisdom. Don't blame yourself: He scolded me. Savior: Who am I again? The Bodhisattva has no my form, has no human form, has no sentient form, has no life-life form, so what about the ego. The monk must soon eliminate the general I am, do not let it exist there will be obstacles.
Bodhisattvas must also wipe out the three cittas: Past, present and future mind. The past mind: the past is past, so the past mind cannot be attained. The present mind: if you say now is the present, but every moment passes ceaselessly, so the present mind cannot be attained either. Future mind: the future mind has not yet come, so the future mind cannot be attained either. If you have fully understood the three unattainable minds, then there is nothing left to attach to, not all to attach, that is to attain liberation, to be truly free.
Bodhisattva has four legal regrets: giving, love language, taking advantage of and partner.
Giving: The Bodhisattva must always have a mind of giving, giving alms to all sentient beings.
Ai language: The Bodhisattva has no form of me, so for all sentient beings, there is often mercy, considering sentient beings as themselves, there is no distinction between them. The Bodhisattva freely forgives, for any sentient being, he also uses gentle and gentle words to deal with it.
Benefit: All sentient beings like benefits, so the Bodhisattva often works to benefit sentient beings.
Associate: Bodhisattva incarnates hundreds of thousands of memories, sees what body can be them, then appears that body to degrees them. When the Buddha practiced the Bodhisattva Path, because he wanted to convert a group of deer into deer bodies to teach them, that was one of his colleagues.
The Bodhisattva practice is difficult to practice, difficult to discharge, but hard to tolerate, difficult to endure, difficult to yield. Those are the conditions for the Bodhisattva's practice to have.
6. Going through the great life. One life is thirteen thousand nine thousand six hundred years. One thousand lives combined into one mini-life, twenty mini lives into one middle life, four middle lives into one great life. So how many lives must a Bodhisattva practice? Three great A Tang lives. A Tang Ky is the Sanskrit word translated as "immeasurable". So it is not easy to be a Bodhisattva, it is not easy to go through three countless great eons in time to become a great Bodhisattva.
7. Great results: What is the great effect of Bodhisattva? He prayed to the Supreme Noble Truth, that is, to become a Buddha.
So great (Ma ha slap) full of these seven meanings. In this Dharma Assembly how many great Bodhisattvas are there? There are eighty thousand people. These eighty thousand people have attained the great path of the Supreme Noble Truth of the righteousness, so this path only goes forward, so they say: All are not rotten in the path of Supreme Righteousness and righteousness.
There are three changes.
1. The real rotten: Mahayana Bodhisattva does not rot back to the second Yield.
2. Persistent recitation: The Great Bodhisattva always thinks of the Bodhisattva practice, cultivates the ten thousand virtues, reciting thoughts forward without going back, never thinking: I do not practice the Bodhisattva, but do it myself. drought! The Bodhisattva never gave rise to such an idea.
3. Non-rot: Bodhisattva diligently does not treat, only forward but not back.
"All obtained Da La Ni mockery of the theory of arguments". Da La Ni is Sanskrit, translated as "president". Total all legal, immeasurable maintenance. Also known as "value", or mantra. Da La Ni is born of good and destroys evil, covers (costs) evil, keeps (maintains) good, that is: does not do evil, does good, and means morality, at the same time, is not too much to keep the precepts. then you will preserve yourself, Da La Ni recite the Mantra, the strength of the Mantra helps you to stop evil and generate good things. Da La Ni has many things, Bodhisattvas can obtain, and even get rid of the theory of arguments, it can be said that Da La Ni obtained Da La Ni in mocking the theory of arguments.
"Turning the wheel of immortality turned". What is Dharma wheel shift? The Bodhisattva often changes the Dharma wheel, which is to change the immovable legal wheel. For example, at the moment we teach the sermons, or translate the Sutras into English, other foreign languages, or introduce the Dhamma to everyone that is to change the wheel of Dharma. All works of propagating the Dharma, are called the Dharma wheel shifting. Therefore, we are Buddhists, we must all consider the job of turning the wheel of dharma as our responsibility, bringing all our abilities to work. Moreover, now is the scientific age, with printers and typewriters, we take advantage of these tools, circulate widely translated sutras into foreign languages, giving everyone a share, that is to change the wheel of the Dharma, making the Dharma to flow without stopping, forever and ever. When I was a teenager in Northeast China, studying Buddhism soon, my favorite was to print Buddhist scriptures, print out hundreds of thousands of copies. Whenever on holidays or the birthdays of relatives and friends, I give them as gifts, causing them to give birth to inspiration for the Dharma, that is, I turn the old wheel of immoral dharma. We hope that each person fully has the ability to transmit the Buddha-dharma, making the wheel of dharma change constantly.
The great Bodhisattva makes offerings to countless Buddhas, where the buddhas' ashramas have been through countless eons, nurturing the roots of benevolent merit. You often make offerings to the Three Jewels, that is, to cultivate your own virtuous roots. Therefore, these eighty thousand great Bodhisattvas, the moment is always praised by the Buddhas: "Son of God! You practice the immortal Bodhisattva path, it's good, it's not wrong!"
The Great Bodhisattva uses the compassionate mind to teach sentient beings and cultivate his body. They skillfully obtained the wisdom of the Buddha, attained great wisdom, so they reached the other shore. If attained great wisdom, then reach the other shore (Ba La Secret). The title of these eighty thousand great Bodhisattvas, echoes throughout the infinite world, all sentient beings often hear the common recitation. In all the boundless worlds, the Bodhisattva catalyzes countless hundreds of thousands of sentient beings.
Their names are: Bodhisattva Manjushri, Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, Great Bodhisattva, Ordinary Bodhisattva, Immortal Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva, Grandmother Bodhisattva Bao Nguyet, Bodhisattva Nguyet Quang, Bodhisattva Man Nguyet, Great Bodhisattva, Powerless Bodhisattva, Viet Tam Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva Da Ba La. Bodhisattva Maitreya, Bao Tich Bodhisattva, Guru Bodhisattva, etc. such great Bodhisattvas, including eighty thousand people gathered.
Eight thousand great Bodhisattvas have eighty thousand titles. If you include them all, this set of Sutras will be too long, so only the first few great Bodhisattvas among them will be given as delegates.
Leading Bodhisattva is the Bodhisattva Van Thu. Van Thu is in Sanskrit, translated as "Dieu Duc", "Dieu Cat Tuong". This Bodhisattva is of immense wisdom and is also the oldest. In the past, he soon became a Buddha, the name of the Dragon Race of the Supreme Buddha, became a Buddha and then he hid a large or small appearance, practicing the Bodhisattva to educate sentient beings, helping the Buddha to propagate the religion. Bodhisattva Van Thu, Bodhisattva Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Jizō Bodhisattva are the four great Bodhisattvas. Bodhisattva Van Thu resides in Ngu Dai mountain, which is the ashram he often appears. His miraculous powers are unbelievable.
The Venerable Master Hu Yun once vowed to take three steps, one bowing, from Nam Hai to Pho Da mountain to Ngu Dai mountain to pray for the inspiration of the Bodhisattva Van Thu, making him also attain great wisdom. The three-step, one prostration route is about five or six thousand miles long, how long do you say it takes to finish? It is a very long time, if you want to know it in detail, please look at the book Hu Van Lao Hoa Thuong Nien Pho, or The Comic Story. In it there is a passage like this: That is, Mr. Huu Van prostrates himself to the Yellow River, when winter falls too much, he stays by the riverbank in a stall to avoid falling snow, spending a few days snow from Gradually, he became very hungry, almost dying. At that time, a beggar came, covered the stall with grass, made a fire to cook golden rice porridge, and offered it to the Venerable Master for use. After finishing the meal, when he recovered, Mr. Huu Van asked the beggar their first and last names and where did they come from. The beggar said: "Full name of Cat, from Ngu Dai, everyone knows me." After that, this beggar brought luggage for Mr. Huu Van, and Mr. Huu Van, then three steps and bowing is very convenient.
On the way, sometimes in the temple to stay, but the monk in the temple professionally despised this beggar, and scolded Mr. Huu Van: "If you make a prostration, do prostrations, why do you bring the beggar along!" Mr. Huu Van was scolded by people, and the beggar was scolded even more by the people, he did not even allow the beggar to sleep in the temple, he was kicked out of the temple. The beggar told him: "From here, not far from Ngu Dai mountain, I go ahead, you slowly come, your luggage will soon be brought up to the mountain for you. Indeed, in the middle of the road, Mr. Huu Van met a chariot driver, helping him bring his luggage to Ngu Dai mountain, while Master Hư Vân was prostrating three steps. When I arrived at Ngu Dai mountain, I asked the monks of Ngu Dai mountain, did I know a beggar named Van Cat! But when no one knew, then told a monk, the monk clasped his hands and said: "It is the reincarnation of the Bodhisattva Van Thu!" (Van is Van Thu, Cat is Dieu Cat Tuong).
He bowed to the Bodhisattva Van Thu, inspired by the Bodhisattva Van Thu to help him. He and the Bodhisattva lived together for quite a long time but did not know. As a result, he later learned that the Bodhisattva was holy, but did not realize. So, the miracle of Bodhisattva Van Thu is unthinkable. Because of His magic, he turned into a beggar. If He turned into a rich rich man or drove a horse cart to help the Venerable Master, it was also possible. But He doesn't! He also vowed to follow the Venerable Master to suffer. Therefore, that is the great wisdom of Bodhisattva Van Thundu.
The Bodhisattva Manjushri is a very special Bodhisattva, when he was born ten auspicious things arose, unlike other Bodhisattvas. Bodhisattva Van Thu is a great wisdom. Someone will ask: "So what is the difference between Venerable Bodhisattva Van Thu and great wisdom?" The wisdom of the Bodhisattva Van Thu is true wisdom, Mahayana wisdom, and the wisdom of Ton Gia Xa Loi Phat is power and wisdom from Hinayana.
Here are ten auspicious things that arose when Bodhisattva Van Thu was born.
1. Quang Minh filled the room. This clarity is brighter than any light, representing the wisdom of the Bodhisattva.
2. Nectar filled the yard. Nectar is an unbelievable water that can cure all kinds of diseases, if anyone can drink it, it will not be threatened with suffering, old age, sickness or death.
3. The land soared to seven treasures. Seven treasures are: gold, silver, save glass, crystal, nacre, chain, agate. Why are seven treasures up? Because Bodhisattva Van Thu has cultivated the sixteen thousand virtues to the fullest extent, so wherever he goes, he will touch jewels from the earth to appear.
4. The god opened the museum. The great power of Bodhisattva Van Thu, causing the land to crack, revealing the museum hiding in the ground, this is not like the earth skyrocketing into seven treasures, as the third thing above, here the land is torn apart. exposed museum.
5. Chickens born phoenix. This sign is not trivial compared to the one just now above. Actually, chickens only gave birth to chickens, but because the birth of Bodhisattva Van Thu was extraordinary, so eggs hatched phoenixes (phoenixes are the god of birds).
6. Pigs give birth to baby dragons. This auspicious omen, the less visible the phoenix chickens. If you have felt so inexperienced, please take a look at the signs below.
7. Horses give birth to unicorns. Unicorns, cow-tailed deer body, one horn. Horses that give birth to unicorns are a rarity in the world.
8. Cows give birth to white leaves. Bach Trach is the name of the beast that can speak. A rare and extremely rare beast of a beast, neither a cow nor a horse.
9. Paddy turns into gold. Do you think it's weird? There are people who think it's too weird, so don't believe it. If you do not believe it is because you are not transparent. If you are transparent, there is no doubt, you have certainly not heard of these things before, so how can you believe it? Anyway, this world is too large, but what we hear is limited, because we have not heard of these strange phenomena, when the paddy is transformed into golden grain, it cannot be eaten. anymore, but those are just a few.
10. Elephants have six tusks. Usually we only know elephants have two tusks. But when the Bodhisattva Van Thu was born, elephants all grew six tusks, do you say that is strange?
Some layman asked: "Why do elephants have six tusks?" The six tusks represent six degrees (six degrees), while the elephant represents the universal happiness.
That is the ten auspicious signs manifested when Bodhisattva Van Thu was born, that is also the expression that he preached without hesitation. Bodhisattva Van Thu is the most wise of all Bodhisattvas, full of courage, truth, and mindless contention. If you hear the Bodhisattva's sermon, you will see that my teaching is far behind him, because it cannot be compared. Or maybe you will say, "We really like the Master teaching the Dharma, we feel he is very good at teaching." But if you hear the teachings of the Bodhisattva Manjushri, you will know that it cannot be compared to Him.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).GOLDEN AMITABHA MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THICH CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.1/4/2021.
